9:1
ጥበብ፡ ሐነፀት፡ ላቲ፡ ቤተ፡ ወአቀመት፡ ሰብዓተ፡ አዕማደ።
Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.
智慧建造房屋， 鑿成七根柱子，
9:2
ዘብሐት፡ ዘዚአሃ፡ ጥብሐ፡ ወቶስሐት፡ ውስተ፡ ስያሓ፡ ዘዚአሃ፡ ወይነ።
She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her wine. She has also set her table.
宰殺牲畜， 調和旨酒， 設擺筵席；
9:3
ወፈነወት፡ ዘዚአሃ፡ አግብርተ፡ እንዘ፡ ትጼውዕ፡ በነዋኅ፡ ስብከት።
She has sent out her maidens. She cries from the highest places of the city:
打發使女出去， 自己在城中至高處呼叫，
9:4
እንዘ፡ ትብል፡ ዘዓብድ፡ ውእቱ፡ ይግኀሥ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ወለእለሂ፡ የሐዖሙ፡ አእምሮ።
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
說：誰是愚蒙人，可以轉到這裏來！ 又對那無知的人說：
9:5
ትቤ፡ ንዑ፡ ብልዑ፡ ኅብስትየ፡ ወስትዩ፡ ወይንየ፡ ዘቀዳሕኩ፡ ለክሙ።
“Come, eat some of my bread, Drink some of the wine which I have mixed!
你們來，吃我的餅， 喝我調和的酒。
9:6
ወኀድግዋ፡ ለዕበድ፡ ወኅሡ፡ አእምሮ፡ ከመ፡ ትሕየዉ።
Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
你們愚蒙人，要捨棄愚蒙， 就得存活，並要走光明的道。
9:7
አርትዑ፡ አእምሮ፡ በጠይቆ፡ ወዘይሜህሮሙ፡ ለእኩያን፡ ይነሥእ፡ ሎቱ፡ ኃሣረ።
One who corrects a mocker invites insult. One who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.
指斥褻慢人的，必受辱罵； 責備惡人的，必被玷污。
9:8
ወዘይጌሥፆ፡ ለረሲዕ፡ የሐይስ፡ ርእሶ።
Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.
不要責備褻慢人，恐怕他恨你； 要責備智慧人，他必愛你。
9:9
ኢትዝልፎሙ፡ ለዓብዳን፡ ከመ፡ ኢይጽልኡከ።
Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.
教導智慧人，他就越發有智慧； 指示義人，他就增長學問。
9:10
ዝልፎ፡ ለጠቢብ፡ ወያፈቅረከ፡ ዓብድሰ፡ ይጸልአከ፡ ሀቦ፡ ለጠቢብ፡ ምክንያተ፡ ወያፈደፍድ፡ ጥበበ፡ አምሮ፡ ለጠቢብ፡ ወይዌስክ፡ ተወክፎ።
The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
敬畏耶和華是智慧的開端； 認識至聖者便是聰明。
9:11
ቀዳሚሃ፡ ለጥበብ፡ ፈሪሀ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ወምክረ፡ ቅዱሳን፡ አእምሮ፡ ወአእምሮ፡ ሕግሰ፡ ለልብ፡ ኄር፡ ውእቱ።
For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.
你藉着我，日子必增多， 年歲也必加添。
9:12
በዝ፡ ሥርዓት፡ ብዙኀመዋዕለ፡ ተሐዩ፡ ወይትዌስካከ፡ ዓመታተ፡ ሕይወት።
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.
你若有智慧，是與自己有益； 你若褻慢，就必獨自擔當。
9:13
ወልድየ፡ እመ፡ ጠቢበ፡ ኮንከ፡ ለርእስከ፡ ጠቢበ፡ ትከውን፡ ለቢጽከ፡ ወእመሰ፡ እኩየ፡ ኮንከ፡ ለባሕቲትከ፡ ትቀድሕ፡ እኪቶ።
The foolish woman is loud, undisciplined, and knows nothing.
愚昧的婦人喧嚷； 她是愚蒙，一無所知。
9:14
ዘያስተዳሉ፡ ሐሰተ፡ ይመስል፡ ከመ፡ ዘያስተዳሉ፡ ነፋሳተ፡ ወውእቱ፡ ከመ፡ ዘይዴግን፡ ዖፈ፡ ዘይሠርር።
She sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
她坐在自己的家門口， 坐在城中高處的座位上，
9:15
ወኀደገ፡ ፍናወ፡ ዓፀደ፡ ወይኑ፡ ወመንኰራኵረ፡ ወፍሬ፡ ዚአሁ፡ ረስዐ፡ ወየሐውር፡ ውስተ፡ በድው፡ ገዳመ፡ ወውስተ፡ ምድር፡ እንተ፡ ተሠርዓት፡ ለጽምእ፡ ወያስተጋብእ፡ በእዴሁ፡ ዘኢይፈሪ፡ ወኢይበቊል።
to call to those who pass by, who go straight on their ways,
呼叫過路的， 就是直行其道的人，
9:16
ብእሲት፡ ዓብድ፡ ወመግዝእት፡ ጽንስተ፡ ኅብስት፡ ትከውን፡ እንተ፡ ኢተአምር፡ ኀፊረ፡ ምንተኒ፡ ወነበረት፡ ውስተ፡ አንቀጸ፡ ቤታ።
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here.” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
說：誰是愚蒙人，可以轉到這裏來！ 又對那無知的人說：
9:17
ወውስተ፡ መንበራ፡ ገሃደ፡ ወውስተ፡ መርኅብ፡ ትጼውዕ፡ ኃላፍያነ፡ ፍኖት፡ እለ፡ ያረትዑ፡ ፍኖቶሙ።
“Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is pleasant.”
偷來的水是甜的， 暗吃的餅是好的。
9:18
እለ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ዓብድ፡ ይቀርብ፡ ሐቤሃ፡ ወለዘሂ፡ የሐፅዖ፡ አእምሮ፡ ትኤዝዞ።
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
人卻不知有陰魂在她那裏； 她的客在陰間的深處。
9:19
ወትቤሎ፡ ኅብስተ፡ ኅቡአ፡ አስተሐዊዘከ፡ ግሥሥ፡ ወማየ፡ ስርቅ፡ መዓርዒረ፡ ስተይ።
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
人卻不知有陰魂在她那裏； 她的客在陰間的深處。
9:20
ወውእቱሰ፡ ኢየአምር፡ ከመ፡ እምኃያላን፡ በኀቤሃ፡ ይትኀጐሉ፡ ወመጽፈርተ፡ ሲኦል፡ ይትረከብ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤታ።
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
人卻不知有陰魂在她那裏； 她的客在陰間的深處。
9:21
ወባሕቱ፡ ቅንጽ፡ ወኢትጐንዲ፡ ውስተ፡ መካና፡ ወኢታውትር፡ ዓይነከ፡ ኀቤሃ፡ ከመ፡ ትትዓደው፡ ፈለገ፡ ነኪር።
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
人卻不知有陰魂在她那裏； 她的客在陰間的深處。
9:22
ወእማየ፡ ነኪር፡ ረኀቅ፡ ወእምዓዘቅተ፡ ነኪር፡ ኢትስተይ፡ ከመ፡ ብዙኀ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ትሕየው፡ ወይትወሰካከ፡ ዓመታተ፡ ሕይወት።
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
人卻不知有陰魂在她那裏； 她的客在陰間的深處。
