አንተሰ ፡ ጥበበ ፡ ስብከ ፡ ከመ ፡ አእምሮ ፡ ታውሥእከ ።
Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?
智慧豈不呼叫？ 聰明豈不發聲？
8:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እስመ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽንፈ ፡ ነዋኃት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ ፍናው ፡ ቆመት ፡ ወውስተ ፡ አናቅጾሙ ፡ ለኃያላን ፡ ትጸንሕ ።
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
她在道旁高處的頂上， 在十字路口站立，
8:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወበውስተ ፡ ፍነው ፡ ትሴባሕ ፡ ኪያክሙ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ አስተበቊዕ ፡ ወእነግር ፡ ቃለ ፡ ዚኣየ ፡ ለውሉደ ፡ ሰብእ ።
Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
在城門旁，在城門口， 在城門洞，大聲說：
8:4▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
አእምሩ ፡ የዋሃን ፡ ተጠብቦ ፡ ወዓብዳን ፡ አጥርዩ ፡ ልበ ።
“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
眾人哪，我呼叫你們， 我向世人發聲。
8:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ስምዑኒ ፡ እስመ ፡ መፍትወ ፡ አየድዕ ፡ ወአወፅእ ፡ እምከናፍርየ ፡ ርቱዐ ።
You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!
說：愚蒙人哪，你們要會悟靈明； 愚昧人哪，你們當心裏明白。
8:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እስመ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ትሜህር ፡ ጒርዔየ ፡ ወርኩሳት ፡ በቅድሜየ ፡ ከናፍረ ፡ ሐሰት ።
Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.
你們當聽，因我要說極美的話； 我張嘴要論正直的事。
8:7▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወጽድቅ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ቃለ ፡ አፉየ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ ፡ ጠዋይ ፡ ወማዕቅፍ ።
For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
我的口要發出真理； 我的嘴憎惡邪惡。
8:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ኵሉ ፡ ርቱዕ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ የአምሩ ፡ ወርቱዕ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይረክቡ ፡ ልቡና ።
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.
我口中的言語都是公義， 並無彎曲乖僻。
8:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ንሥኡ ፡ ትምህርተ ፡ እምብሩር ፡ ወአእምሮ ፡ እምቀርቅ ፡ ፍቱን ፡ ወተወከፉ ፡ ተዓውቆ ፡ እምወርቅ ፡ ጽሩይ ።
They are all plain to him who understands, right to those who find knowledge.
有聰明的，以為明顯， 得知識的，以為正直。
8:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እስመ ፡ ትኄይስ ፡ ጥበብ ፡ እምዕንቊ ፡ ዘብዙኅ ፡ ሤጡ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ክብር ፡ ኢመጠና ፡ ላቲ ።
Receive my instruction rather than silver, knowledge rather than choice gold.
你們當受我的教訓，不受白銀； 寧得知識，勝過黃金。
8:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
አነ ፡ ጥበብ ፡ አኅደርኩ ፡ ምክረ ፡ ወአእምሮ ፡ ወሕሊና ፡ አነ ፡ ጸዋዕኩ ።
For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it.
因為智慧比珍珠 更美； 一切可喜愛的都不足與比較。
8:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ፈራሄ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይጸልእ ፡ ዓመፃ ፡ ጽልአ ፡ ወትዕቢተ ፡ ወፍናወ ፡ እኩያተ ፡ ጸላእኩ ።
“I, wisdom, have made prudence my dwelling. Find out knowledge and discretion.
我－智慧以靈明為居所， 又尋得知識和謀略。
8:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወዓዲ ፡ ጸላእኩ ፡ ጠዋያተ ፡ ፍናወ ፡ እኩያን ፡ ሊተ ፡ ምክር ፡ ወእዘዝ ፡ ሊተ ፡ አእምሮ ፡ ወሊተ ፡ ጽንዕ ።
The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.
敬畏耶和華在乎恨惡邪惡； 那驕傲、狂妄，並惡道， 以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。
8:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ብየ ፡ ነገሥት ፡ ይነግሡ ፡ ወኃያላን ፡ ይጽሕፉ ፡ ጽድቀ ።
Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.
我有謀略和真知識； 我乃聰明，我有能力。
8:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ብየ ፡ ዓቢያን ፡ ይከብሩ ፡ ወመኳንንት ፡ ይእኅዙ ፡ ምድረ ።
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
帝王藉我坐國位； 君王藉我定公平。
8:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
አነ ፡ እለ ፡ ያፈቅሩኒ ፡ አፈቅር ፡ ወእለ ፡ የኀሥሡ ፡ ኪያየ ፡ ይረክቡ ፡ ሞገሰ ።
By me princes rule, nobles, and all the righteous rulers of the earth.
王子和首領， 世上一切的審判官，都是藉我掌權。
8:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ክብር ፡ ወብዕል ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ሀሎ ፡ ወጥሪት ፡ ብዙኅ ፡ ወጽድቅ ፡ ይኄይስ ፡ ኪያሃ ፡ ኀሪይ ፡ እምወርቅ ፡ ወእምዕንቊ ፡ ክቡር ።
I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.
愛我的，我也愛他； 懇切尋求我的，必尋得見。
8:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወፍሬ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ ይኄይስ ፡ እምብሩር ፡ ጽሩይ ።
With me are riches, honor, enduring wealth, and prosperity.
豐富尊榮在我； 恆久的財並公義也在我。
8:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወውስተ ፡ ፍናወ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ አንሶሱ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ አሠረ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ እትመያየጥ ።
My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, my yield than choice silver.
我的果實勝過黃金，強如精金； 我的出產超乎高銀。
8:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ከመ ፡ እከፍሎሙ ፡ ጥሪተ ፡ ለእለ ፡ የአምሩኒ ፡ ወመዛግብቲሆሙ ፡ እምላእ ፡ ተድላ ።
I walk in the way of righteousness, in the middle of the paths of justice,
我在公義的道上走， 在公平的路中行，
8:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እመ ፡ ነገርኩክሙ ፡ እንተ ፡ ጸብሐት ፡ ዘይከውን ፡ ወዓዲ ፡ እዜከር ፡ ዘእምዓለም ፡ ኊልቈ ።
that I may give wealth to those who love me. I fill their treasuries.
使愛我的，承受貨財， 並充滿他們的府庫。
8:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፈጠረኒ ፡ ቀዳሜ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተግባሩ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ይሣርር ፡ ዓለመ ።
“Yahweh possessed me in the beginning of his work, before his deeds of old.
在耶和華造化的起頭， 在太初創造萬物之先，就有了我。
8:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወዘእንበለ ፡ ይግበር ፡ ምድረ ፡ ወዘእንበለ ፡ ይግበር ፡ ቀላያተ ፡ ወዘእንበለ ፡ ይፃኡ ፡ አንቅዕተ ፡ ማያት ።
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth existed.
從亙古，從太初， 未有世界以前，我已被立。
8:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወዘእንበለ ፡ አድባር ፡ ይተከሉ ፡ (ይጠዓጥዑ )፡ ወእምቅድመ ፡ አውግር ፡ ወለደኒ ።
When there were no depths, I was born, when there were no springs abounding with water.
沒有深淵， 沒有大水的泉源，我已生出。
8:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወእምቅድመ ፡ ይግበር ፡ በሐውርተ ፡ ወአጽናፈ ፡ ዘይትኅደር ፡ እምሰማይ ።
Before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was born;
大山未曾奠定， 小山未有之先，我已生出。
8:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
አመ ፡ ያስተዴሉ ፡ ሰማያተ ፡ ሀሎኩ ፡ ወአመ ፡ ያጸንዕ ፡ መንበረ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ነፋሳት ።
while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world.
耶和華還沒有創造大地和田野， 並世上的土質，我已生出。
8:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወአመ ፡ ጽኑዐ ፡ ይገብር ፡ በመልዕልተ ፡ ደመናት ፡ ወአመ ፡ ያፀንዕ ፡ አንብሮ ፡ አንቅዕተ ፡ ማያት ።
When he established the heavens, I was there. When he set a circle on the surface of the deep,
他立高天，我在那裏； 他在淵面的周圍，劃出圓圈。
8:28▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወአመ ፡ ያነብር ፡ ወሰነ ፡ ለባሕር ፡ ወማያት ፡ ኢይፃኡ ፡ እምአፈ ፡ ዚአሁ ።
when he established the clouds above, when the springs of the deep became strong,
上使穹蒼堅硬， 下使淵源穩固，
8:29▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወአመ ፡ ጽኑዐ ፡ ይገብር ፡ ወሠረታተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ሀሎኩ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ እንዘ ፡ አስተዋድድ ።
when he gave to the sea its boundary, that the waters should not violate his commandment, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,
為滄海定出界限，使水不越過他的命令， 立定大地的根基。
8:30▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
አነ ፡ ይእቲ ፡ እንተ ፡ እትፌሣሕ ፡ እንተ ፡ ጽብሐት ፡ ወእትኃሠይ ፡ በበገጹ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ጊዜ ፡ ወአመ ፡ ይትፌሣሕ ፡ ዓለመ ፡ ፈጺሞ ፡ ወፍሥሓየኒ ፡ በደቂቀ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him,
那時，我在他那裏為工師， 日日為他所喜愛， 常常在他面前踴躍，
8:31▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወይእዜኒ ፡ ወልድየ ፡ ስምዓኒ ፡ ብፁዓን ፡ እለ ፡ የዓቅቡ ፡ ፍኖትየ ።
rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.
踴躍在他為人預備可住之地， 也喜悅住在世人之間。
8:32▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ስምዑ ፡ ጥበበ ፡ ወጥበቡ ፡ ወኢትትፈፀሙ ፡ ብፁዕ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘይሰምዓኒ ፡ ቃልየ ።
“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.
眾子啊，現在要聽從我， 因為謹守我道的，便為有福。
8:33▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወብፁዕ ፡ ዘየዓቅብ ፡ ፍኖትየ ፡ ወይተግህ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አናቅጸ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ እንተ ፡ ጸብሐት ፡ ወዘየዓቅብ ፡ ራግዛተ ፡ ሙባእየ ።
Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.
要聽教訓就得智慧， 不可棄絕。
8:34▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እስመ ፡ ፍናውየ ፡ ፍናወ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ ዘረከበኒ ፡ ረከበ ፡ ሕይወተ ፡ ወይዴላው ፡ ፈቃዱ ፡ በኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.
聽從我、日日在我門口仰望、 在我門框旁邊等候的，那人便為有福。
8:35▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወእለሰ ፡ ይኤብሱ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ይጌግዩ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ይጸልኡኒ ፡ ያፈቅሩ ፡ ሞተ ።
For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.
因為尋得我的，就尋得生命， 也必蒙耶和華的恩惠。
