But the way of the dark one is crooked and full of cursing. For it is the way of eternal death with punishment, in which are the things that destroy their soul: idolatry, boldness, exaltation of power, hypocrisy, double-heartedness, adultery, murder, plunder, pride, transgression, treachery, malice, self-will, sorcery, magic, greed, lack of the fear of God;
persecutors of the good, hating truth, loving a lie; not knowing the reward of righteousness, not cleaving to what is good nor to righteous judgment, not attending to the widow and orphan; watchful not for the fear of God but for evil; from whom meekness and endurance are far removed; loving vanities, pursuing recompense, not pitying the poor, not toiling for the oppressed, ready for slander, not knowing the One who made them, murderers of children, corrupters of God's handiwork, turning away the needy, oppressing the afflicted, advocates of the rich, lawless judges of the poor, sinful in every way.
