12:1
Πᾶς δὲ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου δεχθήτω: ἔπειτα δὲ δοκιμάσαντες αὐτὸν γνώσεσθε, σύνεσιν γὰρ ἕξετε δεξιὰν καὶ ἀριστεράν
But let everyone who comes in the name of the Lord be received; and afterward, having tested him, you shall know him, for you will have understanding to discern right and left.
凡奉主名而來的人,都要接待;然後試驗過他,你們就會認識他,因為你們必有分辨左右的見識。
12:2
εἰ μὲν παρόδιός ἐστιν ἐρχόμενος, βοηθεῖτε αὐτῷ, ὅσον δύνασθε: οὐ μενεῖ δὲ πρὸς ὑμᾶς εἰ μὴ δύο τρεῖς ἡμέρας, ἑὰνᾖ ἀνάγκη
If the one who comes is a traveler, help him as much as you can; but he shall not remain with you more than two or three days, if there is need.
來的人若是過路客,就要盡力幫助他;但他不可在你們那裡停留過兩三天,除非有需要。
12:3
εἰ δὲ θέλει πρὸς ὑμᾶς καθῆσθαι, τεχνίτης ὤν, ἐργαζέσθω καὶ φαγέτω
But if he wishes to settle among you, being a craftsman, let him work and eat.
他若願意在你們中間定居,又是有手藝的,就讓他作工糊口。
12:4
εἰ δὲ οὐκ ἔχει τέχνην, κατὰ τὴν σύνεσιν ὑμῶν προνοήσατε, πῶς μὴ ἀργὸς μεθ̓ ὑμῶν ζήσεται Χριστιανός
But if he has no trade, according to your understanding provide that he shall not live among you as a Christian in idleness.
他若沒有手藝,你們就要照自己的見識作安排,免得有基督徒在你們中間遊手好閒地生活。
12:5
εἰδ̓ οὐ θέλει οὕτω ποιεῖν, χριστέμπορός ἐστι: προσέχετε ἀπὸ τῶν τοιούτων
But if he is not willing to do thus, he is a Christ-monger; beware of such people.
他若不肯這樣行,就是利用基督圖利的人;你們要防備這樣的人。
