Greek original · 3 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 13ch. 15 →
14:1
And on the Lord's own day, having gathered together, break bread and give thanks, having first confessed your transgressions, so that your sacrifice may be pure.
But let no one who has a quarrel with his companion join you, until they have been reconciled, lest your sacrifice be defiled.
For this is that which was spoken by the Lord: In every place and time offer Me a pure sacrifice; for I am a great King, says the Lord, and My name is wonderful among the nations.
