5:1
בְּ֭נִי לְחׇכְמָתִ֣י הַקְשִׁ֑יבָה לִ֝תְבוּנָתִ֗י הַט־אׇזְנֶֽךָ׃
My son, pay attention to my wisdom. Turn your ear to my understanding,
我兒,要留心我智慧的話語, 側耳聽我聰明的言詞,
5:2
לִשְׁמֹ֥ר מְזִמּ֑וֹת וְ֝דַ֗עַת שְׂפָתֶ֥יךָ יִנְצֹֽרוּ׃
that you may maintain discretion, that your lips may preserve knowledge.
為要使你謹守謀略, 嘴唇保存知識。
5:3
כִּ֤י נֹ֣פֶת תִּ֭טֹּפְנָה שִׂפְתֵ֣י זָרָ֑ה וְחָלָ֖ק מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן חִכָּֽהּ׃
For the lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil,
因為淫婦的嘴滴下蜂蜜; 她的口比油更滑,
5:4
וְֽ֭אַחֲרִיתָהּ מָרָ֣ה כַֽלַּעֲנָ֑ה חַ֝דָּ֗ה כְּחֶ֣רֶב פִּיּֽוֹת׃
but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and as sharp as a two-edged sword.
至終卻苦似茵蔯, 快如兩刃的刀。
5:5
רַ֭גְלֶיהָ יֹרְד֣וֹת מָ֑וֶת שְׁ֝א֗וֹל צְעָדֶ֥יהָ יִתְמֹֽכוּ׃
Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol.
她的腳下入死地; 她腳步踏住陰間,
5:6
אֹ֣רַח חַ֭יִּים פֶּן־תְּפַלֵּ֑ס נָע֥וּ מַ֝עְגְּלֹתֶ֗יהָ לֹ֣א תֵדָֽע׃ {פ}
She gives no thought to the way of life. Her ways are crooked, and she doesn’t know it.
以致她找不着生命平坦的道。 她的路變遷不定, 自己還不知道。
5:7
וְעַתָּ֣ה בָ֭נִים שִׁמְעוּ־לִ֑י וְאַל־תָּ֝ס֗וּרוּ מֵאִמְרֵי־פִֽי׃
Now therefore, my sons, listen to me. Don’t depart from the words of my mouth.
眾子啊,現在要聽從我; 不可離棄我口中的話。
5:8
הַרְחֵ֣ק מֵעָלֶ֣יהָ דַרְכֶּ֑ךָ וְאַל־תִּ֝קְרַ֗ב אֶל־פֶּ֥תַח בֵּיתָֽהּ׃
Remove your way far from her. Don’t come near the door of her house,
你所行的道要離她遠, 不可就近她的房門,
5:9
פֶּן־תִּתֵּ֣ן לַאֲחֵרִ֣ים הוֹדֶ֑ךָ וּ֝שְׁנֹתֶ֗יךָ לְאַכְזָרִֽי׃
lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel one;
恐怕將你的尊榮給別人, 將你的歲月給殘忍的人;
5:10
פֶּֽן־יִשְׂבְּע֣וּ זָרִ֣ים כֹּחֶ֑ךָ וַ֝עֲצָבֶ֗יךָ בְּבֵ֣ית נׇכְרִֽי׃
lest strangers feast on your wealth, and your labors enrich another man’s house.
恐怕外人滿得你的力量, 你勞碌得來的,歸入外人的家;
5:11
וְנָהַמְתָּ֥ בְאַחֲרִיתֶ֑ךָ בִּכְל֥וֹת בְּ֝שָׂרְךָ֗ וּשְׁאֵרֶֽךָ׃
You will groan at your latter end, when your flesh and your body are consumed,
終久,你皮肉和身體消毀, 你就悲歎,
5:12
וְֽאָמַרְתָּ֗ אֵ֭יךְ שָׂנֵ֣אתִי מוּסָ֑ר וְ֝תוֹכַ֗חַת נָאַ֥ץ לִבִּֽי׃
and say, “How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof.
說:我怎麼恨惡訓誨, 心中藐視責備,
5:13
וְֽלֹא־שָׁ֭מַעְתִּי בְּק֣וֹל מוֹרָ֑י וְ֝לִֽמְלַמְּדַ֗י לֹא־הִטִּ֥יתִי אׇזְנִֽי׃
I haven’t obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor turned my ear to those who instructed me!
也不聽從我師傅的話, 又不側耳聽那教訓我的人?
5:14
כִּ֭מְעַט הָיִ֣יתִי בְכׇל־רָ֑ע בְּת֖וֹךְ קָהָ֣ל וְעֵדָֽה׃
I have come to the brink of utter ruin, among the gathered assembly.”
我在聖會裏, 幾乎落在諸般惡中。
5:15
שְׁתֵה־מַ֥יִם מִבּוֹרֶ֑ךָ וְ֝נֹזְלִ֗ים מִתּ֥וֹךְ בְּאֵרֶֽךָ׃
Drink water out of your own cistern, running water out of your own well.
你要喝自己池中的水, 飲自己井裏的活水。
5:16
יָפ֣וּצוּ מַעְיְנֹתֶ֣יךָ ח֑וּצָה בָּ֝רְחֹב֗וֹת פַּלְגֵי־מָֽיִם׃
Should your springs overflow in the streets, streams of water in the public squares?
你的泉源豈可漲溢在外? 你的河水豈可流在街上?
5:17
יִֽהְיוּ־לְךָ֥ לְבַדֶּ֑ךָ וְאֵ֖ין לְזָרִ֣ים אִתָּֽךְ׃
Let them be for yourself alone, not for strangers with you.
惟獨歸你一人, 不可與外人同用。
5:18
יְהִֽי־מְקוֹרְךָ֥ בָר֑וּךְ וּ֝שְׂמַ֗ח מֵאֵ֥שֶׁת נְעוּרֶֽךָ׃
Let your spring be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth.
要使你的泉源蒙福; 要喜悅你幼年所娶的妻。
5:19
אַיֶּ֥לֶת אֲהָבִ֗ים וְֽיַ֫עֲלַת־חֵ֥ן דַּ֭דֶּיהָ יְרַוֻּ֣ךָ בְכׇל־עֵ֑ת בְּ֝אַהֲבָתָ֗הּ תִּשְׁגֶּ֥ה תָמִֽיד׃
A loving doe and a graceful deer— let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love.
她如可愛的麀鹿,可喜的母鹿; 願她的胸懷使你時時知足, 她的愛情使你常常戀慕。
5:20
וְלָ֤מָּה תִשְׁגֶּ֣ה בְנִ֣י בְזָרָ֑ה וּ֝תְחַבֵּ֗ק חֵ֣ק נׇכְרִיָּֽה׃
For why should you, my son, be captivated with an adulteress? Why embrace the bosom of another?
我兒,你為何戀慕淫婦? 為何抱外女的胸懷?
5:21
כִּ֤י נֹ֨כַח׀ עֵינֵ֣י יְ֭הֹוָה דַּרְכֵי־אִ֑ישׁ וְֽכׇל־מַעְגְּלֹתָ֥יו מְפַלֵּֽס׃
For the ways of man are before Yahweh’s eyes. He examines all his paths.
因為,人所行的道都在耶和華眼前; 他也修平人一切的路。
5:22
עֲֽווֹנֹתָ֗יו יִלְכְּדֻנ֥וֹ אֶת־הָרָשָׁ֑ע וּבְחַבְלֵ֥י חַ֝טָּאת֗וֹ יִתָּמֵֽךְ׃
The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare him. The cords of his sin hold him firmly.
惡人必被自己的罪孽捉住; 他必被自己的罪惡如繩索纏繞。
5:23
ה֗וּא יָ֭מוּת בְּאֵ֣ין מוּסָ֑ר וּבְרֹ֖ב אִוַּלְתּ֣וֹ יִשְׁגֶּֽה׃ {פ}
He will die for lack of instruction. In the greatness of his folly, he will go astray.
他因不受訓誨就必死亡; 又因愚昧過甚,必走差了路。
