11:1
מֹאזְנֵ֣י מִ֭רְמָה תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה וְאֶ֖בֶן שְׁלֵמָ֣ה רְצוֹנֽוֹ׃
A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight.
詭詐的天平為耶和華所憎惡； 公平的法碼為他所喜悅。
11:2
בָּֽא־זָ֭דוֹן וַיָּבֹ֣א קָל֑וֹן וְֽאֶת־צְנוּעִ֥ים חׇכְמָֽה׃
When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom.
驕傲來，羞恥也來； 謙遜人卻有智慧。
11:3
תֻּמַּ֣ת יְשָׁרִ֣ים תַּנְחֵ֑ם וְסֶ֖לֶף בֹּגְדִ֣ים (ושדם) [יְשׇׁדֵּֽם]׃
The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them.
正直人的純正必引導自己； 奸詐人的乖僻必毀滅自己。
11:4
לֹא־יוֹעִ֣יל ה֭וֹן בְּי֣וֹם עֶבְרָ֑ה וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה תַּצִּ֥יל מִמָּֽוֶת׃
Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
發怒的日子資財無益； 惟有公義能救人脫離死亡。
11:5
צִדְקַ֣ת תָּ֭מִים תְּיַשֵּׁ֣ר דַּרְכּ֑וֹ וּ֝בְרִשְׁעָת֗וֹ יִפֹּ֥ל רָשָֽׁע׃
The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way, but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
完全人的義必指引他的路； 但惡人必因自己的惡跌倒。
11:6
צִדְקַ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים תַּצִּילֵ֑ם וּ֝בְהַוַּ֗ת בֹּגְדִ֥ים יִלָּכֵֽדוּ׃
The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them, but the unfaithful will be trapped by evil desires.
正直人的義必拯救自己； 奸詐人必陷在自己的罪孽中。
11:7
בְּמ֤וֹת אָדָ֣ם רָ֭שָׁע תֹּאבַ֣ד תִּקְוָ֑ה וְתוֹחֶ֖לֶת אוֹנִ֣ים אָבָֽדָה׃
When a wicked man dies, hope perishes, and expectation of power comes to nothing.
惡人一死，他的指望必滅絕； 罪人的盼望也必滅沒。
11:8
צַ֭דִּיק מִצָּרָ֣ה נֶחֱלָ֑ץ וַיָּבֹ֖א רָשָׁ֣ע תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
A righteous person is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked takes his place.
義人得脫離患難， 有惡人來代替他。
11:9
בְּפֶ֗ה חָ֭נֵף יַשְׁחִ֣ת רֵעֵ֑הוּ וּ֝בְדַ֗עַת צַדִּיקִ֥ים יֵחָלֵֽצוּ׃
With his mouth the godless man destroys his neighbor, but the righteous will be delivered through knowledge.
不虔敬的人用口敗壞鄰舍； 義人卻因知識得救。
11:10
בְּט֣וּב צַ֭דִּיקִים תַּעֲלֹ֣ץ קִרְיָ֑ה וּבַאֲבֹ֖ד רְשָׁעִ֣ים רִנָּֽה׃
When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices. When the wicked perish, there is shouting.
義人享福，合城喜樂； 惡人滅亡，人都歡呼。
11:11
בְּבִרְכַּ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים תָּר֣וּם קָ֑רֶת וּבְפִ֥י רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים תֵּהָרֵֽס׃
By the blessing of the upright, the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
城因正直人祝福便高舉， 卻因邪惡人的口就傾覆。
11:12
בׇּז־לְרֵעֵ֥הוּ חֲסַר־לֵ֑ב וְאִ֖ישׁ תְּבוּנ֣וֹת יַחֲרִֽישׁ׃
One who despises his neighbor is void of wisdom, but a man of understanding holds his peace.
藐視鄰舍的，毫無智慧； 明哲人卻靜默不言。
11:13
הוֹלֵ֣ךְ רָ֭כִיל מְגַלֶּה־סּ֑וֹד וְנֶאֱמַן־ר֝֗וּחַ מְכַסֶּ֥ה דָבָֽר׃
One who brings gossip betrays a confidence, but one who is of a trustworthy spirit is one who keeps a secret.
往來傳舌的，洩漏密事； 心中誠實的，遮隱事情。
11:14
בְּאֵ֣ין תַּ֭חְבֻּלוֹת יִפׇּל־עָ֑ם וּ֝תְשׁוּעָ֗ה בְּרֹ֣ב יוֹעֵֽץ׃
Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory.
無智謀，民就敗落； 謀士多，人便安居。
11:15
רַע־יֵ֭רוֹעַ כִּי־עָ֣רַב זָ֑ר וְשֹׂנֵ֖א תֹקְעִ֣ים בּוֹטֵֽחַ׃
He who is collateral for a stranger will suffer for it, but he who refuses pledges of collateral is secure.
為外人作保的，必受虧損； 恨惡擊掌的，卻得安穩。
11:16
אֵֽשֶׁת־חֵ֭ן תִּתְמֹ֣ךְ כָּב֑וֹד וְ֝עָרִיצִ֗ים יִתְמְכוּ־עֹֽשֶׁר׃
A gracious woman obtains honor, but violent men obtain riches.
恩德的婦女得尊榮； 強暴的男子得資財。
11:17
גֹּמֵ֣ל נַ֭פְשׁוֹ אִ֣ישׁ חָ֑סֶד וְעֹכֵ֥ר שְׁ֝אֵר֗וֹ אַכְזָרִֽי׃
The merciful man does good to his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.
仁慈的人善待自己； 殘忍的人擾害己身。
11:18
רָשָׁ֗ע עֹשֶׂ֥ה פְעֻלַּת־שָׁ֑קֶר וְזֹרֵ֥עַ צְ֝דָקָ֗ה שֶׂ֣כֶר אֱמֶֽת׃
Wicked people earn deceitful wages, but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.
惡人經營，得虛浮的工價； 撒義種的，得實在的果效。
11:19
כֵּן־צְדָקָ֥ה לְחַיִּ֑ים וּמְרַדֵּ֖ף רָעָ֣ה לְמוֹתֽוֹ׃
He who is truly righteous gets life. He who pursues evil gets death.
恆心為義的，必得生命； 追求邪惡的，必致死亡。
11:20
תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה עִקְּשֵׁי־לֵ֑ב וּ֝רְצוֹנ֗וֹ תְּמִ֣ימֵי דָֽרֶךְ׃
Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to Yahweh, but those whose ways are blameless are his delight.
心中乖僻的，為耶和華所憎惡； 行事完全的，為他所喜悅。
11:21
יָ֣ד לְ֭יָד לֹא־יִנָּ֣קֶה רָּ֑ע וְזֶ֖רַע צַדִּיקִ֣ים נִמְלָֽט׃
Most certainly, the evil man will not be unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will be delivered.
惡人雖然連手，必不免受罰； 義人的後裔必得拯救。
11:22
נֶ֣זֶם זָ֭הָב בְּאַ֣ף חֲזִ֑יר אִשָּׁ֥ה יָ֝פָ֗ה וְסָ֣רַת טָֽעַם׃
Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout, is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion.
婦女美貌而無見識， 如同金環帶在豬鼻上。
11:23
תַּאֲוַ֣ת צַדִּיקִ֣ים אַךְ־ט֑וֹב תִּקְוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים עֶבְרָֽה׃
The desire of the righteous is only good. The expectation of the wicked is wrath.
義人的心願盡得好處； 惡人的指望致干忿怒。
11:24
יֵ֣שׁ מְ֭פַזֵּר וְנוֹסָ֥ף ע֑וֹד וְחֹשֵׂ֥ךְ מִ֝יֹּ֗שֶׁר אַךְ־לְמַחְסֽוֹר׃
There is one who scatters, and increases yet more. There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty.
有施散的，卻更增添； 有吝惜過度的，反致窮乏。
11:25
נֶֽפֶשׁ־בְּרָכָ֥ה תְדֻשָּׁ֑ן וּ֝מַרְוֶ֗ה גַּם־ה֥וּא יוֹרֶֽא׃
The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.
好施捨的，必得豐裕； 滋潤人的，必得滋潤。
11:26
מֹ֣נֵֽעַ בָּ֭ר יִקְּבֻ֣הוּ לְא֑וֹם וּ֝בְרָכָ֗ה לְרֹ֣אשׁ מַשְׁבִּֽיר׃
People curse someone who withholds grain, but blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.
屯糧不賣的，民必咒詛他； 情願出賣的，人必為他祝福。
11:27
שֹׁ֣חֵֽר ט֭וֹב יְבַקֵּ֣שׁ רָצ֑וֹן וְדֹרֵ֖שׁ רָעָ֣ה תְבוֹאֶֽנּוּ׃
He who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but he who searches after evil, it shall come to him.
懇切求善的，就求得恩惠； 惟獨求惡的，惡必臨到他身。
11:28
בּוֹטֵ֣חַ בְּ֭עׇשְׁרוֹ ה֣וּא יִפּ֑וֹל וְ֝כֶעָלֶ֗ה צַדִּיקִ֥ים יִפְרָֽחוּ׃
He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf.
倚仗自己財物的，必跌倒； 義人必發旺，如青葉。
11:29
עֹכֵ֣ר בֵּ֭יתוֹ יִנְחַל־ר֑וּחַ וְעֶ֥בֶד אֱ֝וִ֗יל לַֽחֲכַם־לֵֽב׃
He who troubles his own house shall inherit the wind. The foolish shall be servant to the wise of heart.
擾害己家的，必承受清風； 愚昧人必作慧心人的僕人。
11:30
פְּֽרִי־צַ֭דִּיק עֵ֣ץ חַיִּ֑ים וְלֹקֵ֖חַ נְפָשׁ֣וֹת חָכָֽם׃
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. He who is wise wins souls.
義人所結的果子就是生命樹； 有智慧的，必能得人。
11:31
הֵ֣ן צַ֭דִּיק בָּאָ֣רֶץ יְשֻׁלָּ֑ם אַ֝֗ף כִּֽי־רָשָׁ֥ע וְחוֹטֵֽא׃
Behold, the righteous shall be repaid on the earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner!
看哪，義人在世尚且受報， 何況惡人和罪人呢？
