6:1
בְּ֭נִי אִם ־עָרַ֣בְתָּ לְרֵעֶ֑ךָ תָּקַ֖עְתָּ לַזָּ֣ר כַּפֶּֽיךָ ׃
My son, if you have become collateral for your neighbor, if you have struck your hands in pledge for a stranger,
我兒，你若為朋友作保， 替外人擊掌，
6:2
נוֹקַ֥שְׁתָּ בְאִמְרֵי ־פִ֑יךָ נִ֝לְכַּ֗דְתָּ בְּאִמְרֵי ־פִֽיךָ ׃
you are trapped by the words of your mouth; you are ensnared with the words of your mouth.
你就被口中的話語纏住， 被嘴裏的言語捉住。
6:3
עֲשֵׂ֨ה זֹ֥את אֵפ֪וֹא ׀בְּנִ֡י וְֽהִנָּצֵ֗ל כִּ֘י ־בָ֤אתָ בְכַף ־רֵעֶ֑ךָ לֵ֥ךְ הִ֝תְרַפֵּ֗ס וּרְהַ֥ב רֵעֶֽיךָ ׃
Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself, since you have come into the hand of your neighbor. Go, humble yourself. Press your plea with your neighbor.
我兒，你既落在朋友手中， 就當這樣行才可救自己： 你要自卑，去懇求你的朋友。
6:4
אַל ־תִּתֵּ֣ן שֵׁנָ֣ה לְעֵינֶ֑יךָ וּ֝תְנוּמָ֗ה לְעַפְעַפֶּֽיךָ ׃
Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.
不要容你的眼睛睡覺； 不要容你的眼皮打盹。
6:5
הִ֭נָּצֵל כִּצְבִ֣י מִיָּ֑ד וּ֝כְצִפּ֗וֹר מִיַּ֥ד יָקֽוּשׁ ׃ {פ}
Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler.
要救自己，如鹿脫離獵戶的手， 如鳥脫離捕鳥人的手。
6:6
לֵֽךְ ־אֶל ־נְמָלָ֥ה עָצֵ֑ל רְאֵ֖ה דְרָכֶ֣יהָ וַחֲכָֽם ׃
Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise;
懶惰人哪， 你去察看螞蟻的動作就可得智慧。
6:7
אֲשֶׁ֖ר אֵֽין ־לָ֥הּ קָצִ֗ין שֹׁטֵ֥ר וּמֹשֵֽׁל ׃
which having no chief, overseer, or ruler,
螞蟻沒有元帥， 沒有官長，沒有君王，
6:8
תָּכִ֣ין בַּקַּ֣יִץ לַחְמָ֑הּ אָגְרָ֥ה בַ֝קָּצִ֗יר מַאֲכָלָֽהּ ׃
provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.
尚且在夏天預備食物， 在收割時聚斂糧食。
6:9
עַד ־מָתַ֖י עָצֵ֥ל ׀תִּשְׁכָּ֑ב מָ֝תַ֗י תָּק֥וּם מִשְּׁנָתֶֽךָ ׃
How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep?
懶惰人哪，你要睡到幾時呢？ 你何時睡醒呢？
6:10
מְעַ֣ט שֵׁ֭נוֹת מְעַ֣ט תְּנוּמ֑וֹת מְעַ֓ט ׀ חִבֻּ֖ק יָדַ֣יִם לִשְׁכָּֽב ׃
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep—
再睡片時，打盹片時， 抱着手躺臥片時，
6:11
וּבָֽא ־כִמְהַלֵּ֥ךְ רֵאשֶׁ֑ךָ וּ֝מַחְסֹרְךָ֗ כְּאִ֣ישׁ מָגֵֽן ׃ {פ}
so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man.
你的貧窮就必如強盜速來， 你的缺乏彷彿拿兵器的人來到。
6:12
אָדָ֣ם בְּ֭לִיַּעַל אִ֣ישׁ אָ֑וֶן ה֝וֹלֵ֗ךְ עִקְּשׁ֥וּת פֶּֽה ׃
A worthless person, a man of iniquity, is he who walks with a perverse mouth,
無賴的惡徒， 行動就用乖僻的口，
6:13
קֹרֵ֣ץ בְּ֭עֵינָו מֹלֵ֣ל בְּרַגְלָ֑ו מֹ֝רֶ֗ה בְּאֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו ׃
who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet, who motions with his fingers,
用眼傳神， 用腳示意， 用指點劃，
6:14
תַּ֥הְפֻּכ֨וֹת ׀ בְּלִבּ֗וֹ חֹרֵ֣שׁ רָ֣ע בְּכׇל ־עֵ֑ת (מדנים ) [מִדְיָנִ֥ים ] יְשַׁלֵּֽחַ ׃
in whose heart is perverseness, who devises evil continually, who always sows discord.
心中乖僻， 常設惡謀， 布散紛爭。
6:15
עַל ־כֵּ֗ן פִּ֭תְאֹם יָב֣וֹא אֵיד֑וֹ פֶּ֥תַע יִ֝שָּׁבֵ֗ר וְאֵ֣ין מַרְפֵּֽא ׃ {פ}
Therefore his calamity will come suddenly. He will be broken suddenly, and that without remedy.
所以，災難必忽然臨到他身； 他必頃刻敗壞，無法可治。
6:16
שֶׁשׁ ־הֵ֭נָּה שָׂנֵ֣א יְהֹוָ֑ה וְ֝שֶׁ֗בַע (תועבות ) [תּוֹעֲבַ֥ת ] נַפְשֽׁוֹ ׃
There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him:
耶和華所恨惡的有六樣， 連他心所憎惡的共有七樣：
6:17
עֵינַ֣יִם רָ֭מוֹת לְשׁ֣וֹן שָׁ֑קֶר וְ֝יָדַ֗יִם שֹׁפְכ֥וֹת דָּם ־נָקִֽי ׃
arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
就是高傲的眼， 撒謊的舌， 流無辜人血的手，
6:18
לֵ֗ב חֹ֭רֵשׁ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת אָ֑וֶן רַגְלַ֥יִם מְ֝מַהֲר֗וֹת לָר֥וּץ לָרָעָֽה ׃
a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief,
圖謀惡計的心， 飛跑行惡的腳，
6:19
יָפִ֣יחַ כְּ֭זָבִים עֵ֣ד שָׁ֑קֶר וּמְשַׁלֵּ֥חַ מְ֝דָנִ֗ים בֵּ֣ין אַחִֽים ׃ {פ}
a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.
吐謊言的假見證， 並弟兄中布散紛爭的人。
6:20
נְצֹ֣ר בְּ֭נִי מִצְוַ֣ת אָבִ֑יךָ וְאַל ־תִּ֝טֹּ֗שׁ תּוֹרַ֥ת אִמֶּֽךָ ׃
My son, keep your father’s commandment, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching.
我兒，要謹守你父親的誡命； 不可離棄你母親的法則 ，
6:21
קׇשְׁרֵ֣ם עַל ־לִבְּךָ֣ תָמִ֑יד עׇ֝נְדֵ֗ם עַל ־גַּרְגְּרֹתֶֽךָ ׃
Bind them continually on your heart. Tie them around your neck.
要常繫在你心上， 掛在你項上。
6:22
בְּהִתְהַלֶּכְךָ֨ ׀ תַּנְחֶ֬ה אֹתָ֗ךְ בְּֽ֭שׇׁכְבְּךָ תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר עָלֶ֑יךָ וַ֝הֲקִיצ֗וֹתָ הִ֣יא תְשִׂיחֶֽךָ ׃
When you walk, it will lead you. When you sleep, it will watch over you. When you awake, it will talk with you.
你行走，它必引導你； 你躺臥，它必保守你； 你睡醒，它必與你談論。
6:23
כִּ֤י נֵ֣ר מִ֭צְוָה וְת֣וֹרָה א֑וֹר וְדֶ֥רֶךְ חַ֝יִּ֗ים תּוֹכְח֥וֹת מוּסָֽר ׃
For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light. Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,
因為誡命是燈，法則 是光， 訓誨的責備是生命的道，
6:24
לִ֭שְׁמׇרְךָ מֵאֵ֣שֶׁת רָ֑ע מֵ֝חֶלְקַ֗ת לָשׁ֥וֹן נׇכְרִיָּֽה ׃
to keep you from the immoral woman, from the flattery of the wayward wife’s tongue.
能保你遠離惡婦， 遠離外女諂媚的舌頭。
6:25
אַל ־תַּחְמֹ֣ד יׇ֭פְיָהּ בִּלְבָבֶ֑ךָ וְאַל ־תִּ֝קָּחֲךָ֗ בְּעַפְעַפֶּֽיהָ ׃
Don’t lust after her beauty in your heart, neither let her captivate you with her eyelids.
你心中不要戀慕她的美色， 也不要被她眼皮勾引。
6:26
כִּ֤י בְעַד ־אִשָּׁ֥ה זוֹנָ֗ה עַֽד ־כִּכַּ֫ר ־לָ֥חֶם וְאֵ֥שֶׁת אִ֑ישׁ נֶ֖פֶשׁ יְקָרָ֣ה תָצֽוּד ׃ {פ}
For a prostitute reduces you to a piece of bread. The adulteress hunts for your precious life.
因為，妓女能使人只剩一塊餅； 淫婦獵取人寶貴的生命。
6:27
הֲיַחְתֶּ֤ה אִ֓ישׁ אֵ֬שׁ בְּחֵיק֑וֹ וּ֝בְגָדָ֗יו לֹ֣א תִשָּׂרַֽפְנָה ׃
Can a man scoop fire into his lap, and his clothes not be burned?
人若懷裏搋火， 衣服豈能不燒呢？
6:28
אִם ־יְהַלֵּ֣ךְ אִ֭ישׁ עַל ־הַגֶּחָלִ֑ים וְ֝רַגְלָ֗יו לֹ֣א תִכָּוֶֽינָה ׃
Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
人若在火炭上走， 腳豈能不燙呢？
6:29
כֵּ֗ן הַ֭בָּא אֶל ־אֵ֣שֶׁת רֵעֵ֑הוּ לֹ֥א יִ֝נָּקֶ֗ה כׇּֽל ־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בָּֽהּ ׃
So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife. Whoever touches her will not be unpunished.
親近鄰舍之妻的，也是如此； 凡挨近她的，不免受罰。
6:30
לֹא ־יָב֣וּזוּ לַ֭גַּנָּב כִּ֣י יִגְנ֑וֹב לְמַלֵּ֥א נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ כִּ֣י יִרְעָֽב ׃
Men don’t despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry,
賊因飢餓偷竊充飢， 人不藐視他，
6:31
וְ֭נִמְצָא יְשַׁלֵּ֣ם שִׁבְעָתָ֑יִם אֶת ־כׇּל ־ה֖וֹן בֵּית֣וֹ יִתֵּֽן ׃
but if he is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the wealth of his house.
若被找着，他必賠還七倍， 必將家中所有的盡都償還。
6:32
נֹאֵ֣ף אִשָּׁ֣ה חֲסַר ־לֵ֑ב מַֽשְׁחִ֥ית נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ ה֣וּא יַעֲשֶֽׂנָּה ׃
He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul.
與婦人行淫的，便是無知； 行這事的，必喪掉生命。
6:33
נֶגַע ־וְקָל֥וֹן יִמְצָ֑א וְ֝חֶרְפָּת֗וֹ לֹ֣א תִמָּחֶֽה ׃
He will get wounds and dishonor. His reproach will not be wiped away.
他必受傷損，必被凌辱； 他的羞恥不得塗抹。
6:34
כִּֽי ־קִנְאָ֥ה חֲמַת ־גָּ֑בֶר וְלֹא ־יַ֝חְמ֗וֹל בְּי֣וֹם נָקָֽם ׃
For jealousy arouses the fury of the husband. He won’t spare in the day of vengeance.
因為人的嫉恨成了烈怒， 報仇的時候決不留情。
6:35
לֹֽא ־יִ֭שָּׂא פְּנֵ֣י כׇל ־כֹּ֑פֶר וְלֹא ־יֹ֝אבֶ֗ה כִּ֣י תַרְבֶּה ־שֹּֽׁחַד ׃ {פ}
He won’t regard any ransom, neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.
甚麼贖價，他都不顧； 你雖送許多禮物，他也不肯干休。
