15:1
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለሳኦል፡ ኪያየ፡ ፈነወኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ እቅባእከ፡ ትንግሥ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይእዜኒ፡ ስማዕ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏你為王，治理他的百姓以色列；所以你當聽從耶和華的話。
Samuel said to Saul, “Yahweh sent me to anoint you to be king over his people, over Israel. Now therefore listen to the voice of Yahweh’s words.
15:2
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ጸባኦት፡ ይእዜኒአ፡ እትቤቀሎሙአ፡ ለዐማሌቅአ፡ ዘገብሩአ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤልአ፡ ዘከመ፡ ተቀበልዎሙአ፡ በፍኖትአ፡ አመ፡ የዐርጉአ፡ እምነ፡ ግብጽአ።
萬軍之耶和華如此說：『以色列人出埃及的時候，在路上亞瑪力人怎樣待他們，怎樣抵擋他們，我都沒忘。
Yahweh of Armies says, ‘I remember what Amalek did to Israel, how he set himself against him on the way when he came up out of Egypt.
15:3
ወይእዜኒ፡ ሑርአ፡ ወቅትሎሙአ፡ ለዕማሌቅአ፡ ወለኢያሬምአ፡ ወለኵሉአ፡ ዘዚአሆሙአ፡ ወአልቦአ፡ ዘታሐዩአ፡ እምኔሆሙአ፡ ወሠርዎሙአ፡ ወአሕርሞሙአ፡ ወለኵሉአ፡ ዘዚአሆሙአ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘትምሕክአ፡ እምውስቴቶሙአ፡ ወቅትልአ፡ ዕደዊሆሙአ፡ ወአንስቲያሆሙኒአ፡ ወደቂቆሙኒአ፡ ወሕፃናቲሆሙኒአ፡ ወአልህምቲሆሙኒአ፡ ወአባግዒሆሙኒአ፡ ወእግማሊሆሙኒአ፡ ወአእዱጊሆሙኒአ።
現在你要去擊打亞瑪力人，滅盡他們所有的，不可憐惜他們，將男女、孩童、吃奶的，並牛、羊、駱駝，和驢盡行殺死。』」
Now go and strike Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and don’t spare them; but kill both man and woman, infant and nursing baby, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”
15:4
ወአዘዞሙ፡ ሳኦል፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ወኈለቆሙ፡ በገልገላ፡ ፵፼ቢጸ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወቢጸ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ፫፼።
於是掃羅招聚百姓在提拉因，數點他們，共有步兵二十萬，另有猶大人一萬。
Saul summoned the people, and counted them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen and ten thousand men of Judah.
15:5
ወበጽሐ፡ ሳኦል፡ ኀበ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ፡ ለዐማሌቅ፡ ወነበረ፡ ዲፓ፡ ውስተ፡ ፈለግ።
掃羅到了亞瑪力的京城，在谷中設下埋伏。
Saul came to the city of Amalek, and set an ambush in the valley.
15:6
ወይቤሎሙ፡ ሳኦል፡ ለቄኔዎስ፡ ሰስሉ፡ እምነ፡ ማእከሎሙ፡ ለዐማሌቅ፡ ወተገሐሡ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይቅትሉክሙ፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ እስመ፡ ገበርክሙ፡ አንትሙ፡ ምሕረተ፡ ምስለ፡ ደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል፡ አመ፡ በርጉ፡ እምነ፡ ግብጽ ፤ ወወፅኡ፡ ቄኔዎስ፡ እምነ፡ ማእከለ፡ በማሌቅ።
掃羅對基尼人說：「你們離開亞瑪力人下去吧，恐怕我將你們和亞瑪力人一同殺滅；因為以色列人出埃及的時候，你們曾恩待他們。」於是基尼人離開亞瑪力人去了。
Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them; for you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.
15:7
ወቀተሎሙ፡ ሳኦል፡ ለዐማሌቅ፡ እምኤውላጥ፡ እስከ፡ ሱር፡ ዘመንገለ፡ ገጸ፡ ግብጽ።
掃羅擊打亞瑪力人，從哈腓拉直到埃及前的書珥，
Saul struck the Amalekites, from Havilah as you go to Shur, which is before Egypt.
15:8
ወአኀዝዎ፡ ለአጋግ፡ ንጉሦሙ፡ ለዐማሌቅ፡ ሕያዎ፡ ወለኵሉ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ኢያሪም፡ ቀተልዎሙ፡ በአፈ፡ ሐፂን።
生擒了亞瑪力王亞甲，用刀殺盡亞瑪力的眾民。
He took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
15:9
ወአሕየውዎ፡ ሳኦል፡ ወኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ለአጋግ፡ ወኵሎ፡ መሠንየ፡ እንስሳ፡ ወዘመራዕይ፡ ወዘመብልዐ፡ እክል፡ ወአዕጻደ፡ ወይን፡ ኢፈቀደ፡ ያማስን፡ ወኵሎ፡ ዘሠናይ፡ ግብሩ፡ ወዘክቡር፡ ወዘሰ፡ ምኑን፡ አማሰነ።
掃羅和百姓卻憐惜亞甲，也愛惜上好的牛、羊、牛犢、羊羔，並一切美物，不肯滅絕。凡下賤瘦弱的，盡都殺了。
But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, of the cattle, of the fat calves, of the lambs, and all that was good, and were not willing to utterly destroy them; but everything that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
15:10
ወኮነ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀበ፡ ሳሙኤል፡
耶和華的話臨到撒母耳說：
Then Yahweh’s word came to Samuel, saying,
15:11
ወይቤሎ፡ ነሳሕኩ፡ እስመ፡ አንገሥክዎ፡ ለሳኦል፡ ወረሰይክዎ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስመ፡ ኀደገ፡ ተሊዎትየ፡ ወኢዐቀበ፡ ቃልየ፡ ወሐዘነ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ወጸርሐ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኵላ፡ ሌሊተ።
「我立掃羅為王，我後悔了；因為他轉去不跟從我，不遵守我的命令。」撒母耳便甚憂愁，終夜哀求耶和華。
“It grieves me that I have set up Saul to be king, for he has turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments.” Samuel was angry; and he cried to Yahweh all night.
15:12
ወጌሠ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ወሖረ፡ ወተቀበሎሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ በጽባሕ፡ ወአይድዕዎ፡ ለሳኦል፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ መጽአ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ወሖረ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀርሜሎስ፡ ወወረደ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ውስተ፡ ገልገላ፡ ኀበ፡ ሳኦል፡ ወሜጠ፡ ሰረገላቲሁ፡ ወረከቦ፡ ይገብር፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ እምነ፡ ሠናይ፡ ምህርካ፡ ዘአምጽአ፡ እምነ፡ ዐማሌቅ።
撒母耳清早起來，迎接掃羅。有人告訴撒母耳說：「掃羅到了迦密，在那裏立了紀念碑，又轉身下到吉甲。」
Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning; and Samuel was told, saying, “Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a monument for himself, turned, passed on, and went down to Gilgal.”
15:13
ወበጽሐ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ኀበ፡ ሳኦል፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ሳኦል፡ ቡሩክ፡ አንተ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ገበርኩ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘይቤለኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
撒母耳到了掃羅那裏，掃羅對他說：「願耶和華賜福與你，耶和華的命令我已遵守了。」
Samuel came to Saul; and Saul said to him, “You are blessed by Yahweh! I have performed the commandment of Yahweh.”
15:14
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ምንትኑ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ቃለ፡ መራዕይ፡ ዘእስምዕ፡ ወቃለ፡ አልህምት።
撒母耳說：「我耳中聽見有羊叫、牛鳴，是從哪裏來的呢？」
Samuel said, “Then what does this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the cattle which I hear mean?”
15:15
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳኦል፡ ዘአምጻእነ፡ እምነ፡ ዐማሌቅ፡ ዘአሕየዉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እምውስተ፡ መሠንየ፡ መራዕይ፡ ወእምነ፡ አልህምትኒ፡ ከመ፡ ይሡዑ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክከ፡ ወባዕደሰ፡ ሠረውኩ።
掃羅說：「這是百姓從亞瑪力人那裏帶來的；因為他們愛惜上好的牛羊，要獻與耶和華－你的上帝；其餘的，我們都滅盡了。」
Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the cattle, to sacrifice to Yahweh your God. We have utterly destroyed the rest.”
15:16
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለሳኦል፡ ስማዕ፡ ወእነግረከ፡ ዘይቤለኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በዛቲ፡ ሌሊት፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ንግር።
撒母耳對掃羅說：「你住口吧！等我將耶和華昨夜向我所說的話告訴你。」掃羅說：「請講。」
Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stay, and I will tell you what Yahweh said to me last night.” He said to him, “Say on.”
15:17
ወይቤሎ፡ አኮኑአ፡ እምውስተ፡ እንተ፡ ትንእስአ፡ በትረ፡ እስራኤልአ፡ አንተ፡ ቅድሜሁ፡ ወቀብአከ፡ እግዚአብሔርአ፡ ትንግሥ፡ ለእስራኤልአ።
撒母耳對掃羅說：「從前你雖然以自己為小，豈不是被立為以色列支派的元首嗎？耶和華膏你作以色列的王。
Samuel said, “Though you were little in your own sight, weren’t you made the head of the tribes of Israel? Yahweh anointed you king over Israel;
15:18
ጠፈነወከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ፍኖተአ፡ ወይቤለከአ፡ ሑርአ፡ ወሠርዎሙ፡ ወአጥፍኦሙ፡ ለእለ፡ አበሱ፡ ላዕሌየአ፡ ለዐማሌቅ፡ ወለኵሉ፡ ዘዚአሆሙአ፡ ወቅትሎሙአ።
耶和華差遣你，吩咐你說，你去擊打那些犯罪的亞瑪力人，將他們滅絕淨盡。
and Yahweh sent you on a journey, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’
15:19
ወለምንትአ፡ ኢሰማዕከአ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወአብደርከአ፡ ምህርካአ፡ ወገበርከ፡ እኩየ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔርአ።
你為何沒有聽從耶和華的命令，急忙擄掠財物，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事呢？」
Why then didn’t you obey Yahweh’s voice, but took the plunder, and did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight?”
15:20
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳኦል፡ ለሳሙኤል፡ በበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ሰሚዕየ፡ ምስለ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ሖርኩ፡ ፍኖተ፡ እንተ፡ ፈነወኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወእምጻእክዎ፡ ለአጋግ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ዐማሌቅ፡ ወለዐማሌቅሰ፡ ሠረውክዎሙ።
掃羅對撒母耳說：「我實在聽從了耶和華的命令，行了耶和華所差遣我行的路，擒了亞瑪力王亞甲來，滅盡了亞瑪力人。
Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed Yahweh’s voice, and have gone the way which Yahweh sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
15:21
ወነሥኡ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ምህርካ፡ እንስሳ፡ ወመራዕየ፡ ወመሠንየ፡ አትረፉ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክነ፡ በገልገላ።
百姓卻在所當滅的物中，取了最好的牛羊，要在吉甲獻與耶和華－你的上帝。」
But the people took of the plunder, sheep and cattle, the best of the devoted things, to sacrifice to Yahweh your God in Gilgal.”
15:22
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለሳኦል፡ እምነ፡ መሥዋዕት፡ ወቍርባን፡ ይፈቅድ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ትስማዕ፡ ቃሎ፡ ወናሁ፡ ይኄይስ፡ ስሚዕ፡ እምነ፡ መሥዋዕት፡ ወተአዝዞ፡ እምነ፡ ሥብሐ፡ አባግዕ።
撒母耳說： 耶和華喜悅燔祭和平安祭， 豈如喜悅人聽從他的話呢？ 聽命勝於獻祭； 順從勝於公羊的脂油。
Samuel said, “Has Yahweh as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying Yahweh’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.
15:23
እስመ፡ ኀጢአትሰ፡ ሰሰን፡ እኪት፡ ይእቲ ፤ ለደዌኒ፡ ወለሕማም፡ ፈውስ፡ የኀሥሡ፡ ሎቱ ፤ እስመ፡ አስተሐቀርከ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ያስተሐቅረከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ኢትንግሥ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል።
悖逆的罪與行邪術的罪相等； 頑梗的罪與拜虛神和偶像的罪相同。 你既厭棄耶和華的命令， 耶和華也厭棄你作王。
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because you have rejected Yahweh’s word, he has also rejected you from being king.”
15:24
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳኦል፡ ለሳሙኤል፡ አበስኩ፡ እስመ፡ ኀደጉ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወቃለከኒ፡ እስመ፡ ፈራህክዎሙ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ ወሰማዕክዎሙ፡ ቃሎሙ።
掃羅對撒母耳說：「我有罪了，我因懼怕百姓，聽從他們的話，就違背了耶和華的命令和你的言語。
Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned; for I have transgressed the commandment of Yahweh and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.
15:25
ወይእዜኒ፡ ስረይ፡ ሊተ፡ ኀጢአትየ፡ ወተመየጠኒ፡ ወእሰግድ፡ ለአምላክከ።
現在求你赦免我的罪，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和華。」
Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship Yahweh.”
15:26
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለሳኦል፡ ኢይትመየጠከ፡ እስመ፡ አስተሐቀርከ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወያስተሐቅረከ፡ ለከኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ኢትኩን፡ ንጉሠ፡ ለእስራኤል።
撒母耳對掃羅說：「我不同你回去；因為你厭棄耶和華的命令，耶和華也厭棄你作以色列的王。」
Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you; for you have rejected Yahweh’s word, and Yahweh has rejected you from being king over Israel.”
15:27
ወሜጠ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ገጾ፡ ከመ፡ ይሖር፡ ወአኀዘ፡ ሳኦል፡ ጽንፈ፡ ልብሱ፡ ዘይትዐጸፍ፡ ወተሠጠ።
撒母耳轉身要走，掃羅就扯住他外袍的衣襟，衣襟就撕斷了。
As Samuel turned around to go away, Saul grabbed the skirt of his robe, and it tore.
15:28
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ሠጠጣ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለመንግሥትከ፡ እምነ፡ እስራኤል፡ እምነ፡ እዴከ፡ ዮም፡ ወይሁባ፡ ለካልእከ፡ ዘይኄይሰከ።
撒母耳對他說：「如此，今日耶和華使以色列國與你斷絕，將這國賜與比你更好的人。
Samuel said to him, “Yahweh has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours who is better than you.
15:29
ወይትነፈቅ፡ እስራኤል፡ ለክልኤ፡ ወኢይትጋባእ፡ እንከ፡ ወኢሂ፡ ይኔስሕ፡ እስመ፡ ኢኮነ፡ ከመ፡ ሰብእ፡ ከመ፡ ይነስሕ፡ [እስመ፡ ውእቱ፡ ተምዐ)።
以色列的大能者必不致說謊，也不致後悔；因為他迥非世人，決不後悔。」
Also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent.”
15:30
ወይቤ፡ ሳኦል፡ እበስኩ ፤ ወባሕቱ፡ ሰብሐኒ፡ ቅድመ፡ ሊቃውንቲሆሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወቅድመ፡ ሕዝብየ፡ ወግባእ፡ ምስሌየ፡ ወእሰግድ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላክከ።
掃羅說：「我有罪了，雖然如此，求你在我百姓的長老和以色列人面前抬舉我，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和華－你的上帝。」
Then he said, “I have sinned; yet please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and come back with me, that I may worship Yahweh your God.”
15:31
ወገብአ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ለሳኦል፡ ወሰገደ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር።
於是撒母耳轉身跟隨掃羅回去，掃羅就敬拜耶和華。
So Samuel went back with Saul; and Saul worshiped Yahweh.
15:32
ወይቤ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ አምጽእዎ፡ ሊተ፡ ለአጋግ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ዐማሌቅ፡ ወመጽአ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ አጋግ፡ እንዘ፡ ይርዕድ፡ ወይቤ፡ አጋግ፡ ከመዝኑ፡ መሪር፡ እንከ፡ ውእቱ፡ ሞት።
撒母耳說：「要把亞瑪力王亞甲帶到我這裏來。」亞甲就歡歡喜喜地來到他面前，心裏說，死亡的苦難必定過去了。
Then Samuel said, “Bring Agag the king of the Amalekites here to me!” Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.”
15:33
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለአጋግ፡ በከመ፡ አምከነቶን፡ ለአንስት፡ ኲናትከ፡ ከማሁ፡ ትምክን፡ እምነ፡ አንስት፡ እምከ፡ ወረገዞ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለአጋግ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በገልገላ።
撒母耳說：「你既用刀使婦人喪子，這樣，你母親在婦人中也必喪子。」於是，撒母耳在吉甲耶和華面前將亞甲殺死。
Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women!” Then Samuel cut Agag in pieces before Yahweh in Gilgal.
15:34
ወአተወ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ውስተ፡ አርማቴም፡ ወሳኦልኒ፡ ዐርገ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤቱ፡ [ገባዖን፡]፡
撒母耳回了拉瑪。掃羅上他所住的基比亞，回自己的家去了。
Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.
15:35
ወኢደገመ፡ እንከ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ርእዮቶ፡ ለሳኦል፡ እስከ፡ አመ፡ ሞተ፡ እስመ፡ ይላሕዎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለሳኦል፡ ወነስሐ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘአንገሦ፡ ለሳኦል፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል።
撒母耳直到死的日子，再沒有見掃羅；但撒母耳為掃羅悲傷，是因耶和華後悔立他為以色列的王。
Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death, but Samuel mourned for Saul. Yahweh grieved that he had made Saul king over Israel.
