13:2
ወኀረየ፡ ሎቱ፡ ሳኦል፡ ሠላሳ፡ ምእተ፡ ብእሴ፡ ወነበሩ፡ ምስለ፡ ሳኦል፡ ዕሥራ፡ ምእት፡ ብእሲ፡ ውስተ፡ መኬማስ፡ ወውስተ፡ ደብረ፡ ቤቴል፡ ወዐሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ብእሲ፡ ምስለ፡ ዮናታን፡ ውስተ፡ ገባኦን፡ ዘብንያም፡ ወለእለስ፡ ተርፉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ፈነዎሙ፡ ይእትዉ፡ ውስተ፡ አብያቲሆሙ፡ ለኵሎሙ።
就從以色列中揀選了三千人：二千跟隨掃羅在密抹和伯特利山，一千跟隨約拿單在便雅憫的基比亞；其餘的人掃羅都打發各回各家去了。
Saul chose for himself three thousand men of Israel, of which two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in the Mount of Bethel, and one thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin. He sent the rest of the people to their own tents.
13:3
ወቀተሎሙ፡ ዮናታን፡ ለናሴብ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ወግር፡ ወሰምዑ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ወአንፍሐ፡ ቀርነ፡ ሳኦል፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ዐለዉነ፡ አግብርቲነ።
約拿單攻擊在迦巴的非利士人的防營，非利士人聽見了。掃羅就在遍地吹角，意思說，要使希伯來人聽見。
Jonathan struck the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, “Let the Hebrews hear!”
13:4
ወሰምዑ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እስራኤል፡ እንዘ፡ ይብሉ፡ ቀተሎሙአ፡ ሳኦልአ፡ ለናሴብአ፡ ለኢሎፍሊአ፡ ወጸንዑ፡ እስራኤል፡ ላዕለ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ወወውዑ፡ ሕዝብ፡ በገልገላ፡ ወተለውዎ፡ ለሳኦል።
以色列眾人聽見掃羅攻擊非利士人的防營，又聽見以色列人為非利士人所憎惡，就跟隨掃羅聚集在吉甲。
All Israel heard that Saul had struck the garrison of the Philistines, and also that Israel was considered an abomination to the Philistines. The people were gathered together after Saul to Gilgal.
13:5
ወኢሎፍሊኒ፡ ተጋብኡ፡ ወፀብእዎሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ፫፼ሰረገላት፡ ወ፷፻መስተፅዕናነ፡ አፍራስ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ከመ፡ ኆፃ፡ ባሕር፡ ብዝኆሙ ፤ ወዐርጉ፡ ወተዐየኑ፡ ውስተ፡ መኬማስ፡ ቅድመ፡ ቤቶሮን፡ እመንገለ፡ አዜብ።
非利士人聚集，要與以色列人爭戰，有車三萬輛，馬兵六千，步兵像海邊的沙那樣多，就上來在伯‧亞文東邊的密抹安營。
The Philistines assembled themselves together to fight with Israel: thirty thousand chariots, six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude. They came up and encamped in Michmash, eastward of Beth Aven.
13:6
ወሶበ፡ ርእዩ፡ ሰብአ፡ እስራኤል፡ ከመ፡ የዐጽቦሙ፡ ሐዊረ፡ ኀቤሆሙ፡ ተኀብኡ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ውስተ፡ በአታት፡ ወውስተ፡ ሕዝአታት፡ ወታሕተ፡ ጾላዕት፡ ወውስተ፡ ግበብ፡ ወውስተ፡ ዐዘቅታት።
以色列百姓見自己危急窘迫，就藏在山洞、叢林、石穴、隱密處，和坑中。
When the men of Israel saw that they were in trouble (for the people were distressed), then the people hid themselves in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in tombs, and in pits.
13:7
ወቦ፡ እለ፡ ዐደዉ፡ ዮርዳኖስ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድረ፡ ጋድ፡ ወገለዓድ፡ ወሳኦልሰ፡ ዓዲሁ፡ ሀለወ፡ ውስተ፡ ገልገላ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ኀደጉ፡ ተሊዎቶ።
有些希伯來人過了約旦河，逃到迦得和基列地。掃羅還是在吉甲，百姓都戰戰兢兢地跟隨他。
Now some of the Hebrews had gone over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead; but as for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
13:8
ወኀለፉ፡ እልክቱ፡ ሰሱዕ፡ መዋዕል፡ ዘይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ዘአስምዐ፡ ሳዕሌሁ፡ ወኢመጽአ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ውስተ፡ ገልገላ፡ ወተዘርዉ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እምኔሁ።
掃羅照着撒母耳所定的日期等了七日。撒母耳還沒有來到吉甲，百姓也離開掃羅散去了。
He stayed seven days, according to the time set by Samuel; but Samuel didn’t come to Gilgal, and the people were scattering from him.
13:9
ወይቤ፡ ሳኦል፡ አምጽኡ፡ ሊተ፡ ዘእገብር፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ሰላም።
掃羅說：「把燔祭和平安祭帶到我這裏來。」掃羅就獻上燔祭。
Saul said, “Bring the burnt offering to me here, and the peace offerings.” He offered the burnt offering.
13:10
ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ ፈጸመ፡ ገቢረ፡ መሥዋዕት፡ ናሁ፡ መጽአ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ወወፅአ፡ ሳኦል፡ ወተቀበሎ፡ ከመ፡ ይባርኮ።
剛獻完燔祭，撒母耳就到了。掃羅出去迎接他，要問他好。
It came to pass that as soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.
13:11
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ምንተ፡ ገበርከ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ሳኦል፡ እስመ፡ ርኢኩ፡ ከመ፡ ተዘርወ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እምኔየ፡ ወአንተኒ፡ ኢመጻእከ፡ በከመ፡ ትቤለኒ፡ ዘአስማዕከ፡ ላዕሌየ፡ በእንተ፡ መዋዕል፡ ወኢሎፍሊኒ፡ ተጋብኡ፡ ውስተ፡ መኬማስ ፤
撒母耳說：「你做的是甚麼事呢？」掃羅說：「因為我見百姓離開我散去，你也不照所定的日期來到，而且非利士人聚集在密抹。
Samuel said, “What have you done?” Saul said, “Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you didn’t come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines assembled themselves together at Michmash,
13:12
ወእቤ፡ ይእዜ፡ ይወርዱ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ኀቤየ፡ ውስተ፡ ገልገላ፡ ወገጸ፡ እግዚአብሔርኒ፡ ኢሰአልኩ፡ ወተዐጊሥየ፡ ገበርኩ፡ መሥዋዕተ።
所以我心裏說：恐怕我沒有禱告耶和華。非利士人下到吉甲攻擊我，我就勉強獻上燔祭。」
therefore I said, ‘Now the Philistines will come down on me to Gilgal, and I haven’t entreated the favor of Yahweh.’ I forced myself therefore, and offered the burnt offering.”
13:13
ወይቤሎ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ለሳኦል፡ አበስከ፡ ዘኢዐቀብከ፡ ትእዛዝየ፡ ዘአዘዘከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በከመ፡ ይእዜ፡ አስተዳለወ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለዓለም፡ መንግሥተከ፡ ለእስራኤል።
撒母耳對掃羅說：「你做了糊塗事了，沒有遵守耶和華－你上帝所吩咐你的命令。若遵守，耶和華必在以色列中堅立你的王位，直到永遠。
Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of Yahweh your God, which he commanded you; for now Yahweh would have established your kingdom on Israel forever.
13:14
ወይእዜኒ፡ ኢትቀውም፡ መንግሥትከ፡ ወየኀሥሥ፡ ሎቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ብእሴ፡ ዘከመ፡ ልቡ፡ ወይሠይሞ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ላዕለ፡ ሕዝቡ፡ እስመ፡ ኢዐቀብከ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘአዘዘከ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
現在你的王位必不長久。耶和華已經尋着一個合他心意的人，立他作百姓的君，因為你沒有遵守耶和華所吩咐你的。」
But now your kingdom will not continue. Yahweh has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and Yahweh has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept that which Yahweh commanded you.”
13:15
ወተንሥአ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ይሖር፡ ፍኖቶ፡ ውስተ፡ ገልገላ፡ ወእለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ዐርጉ፡ ወተለውዎ፡ ለሳኦል፡ ወኀለፉ፡ ይትቀበልዎሙ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ እለ፡ ሖሩ፡ ይትቃተሉ፡ ሎሙ፡ ወበጽሑ፡ ውስተ፡ ገልገላ፡ ዘብንያም፡ ውስተ፡ ገባኦን፡ ወኈለቆሙ፡ ሳኦል፡ ለሕዝብ፡ እለ፡ ተረከቡ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ወኮኑ፡ ስድስተ፡ ምእተ፡ ብእሴ።
撒母耳就起來，從吉甲上到便雅憫的基比亞。 掃羅數點跟隨他的，約有六百人。
Samuel arose, and went from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. Saul counted the people who were present with him, about six hundred men.
13:16
ወሳኦልኒ፡ ወዮናታን፡ ወልዱ፡ ወሕዝብኒ፡ እለ፡ ተረክቡ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ነበሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ገባኦን፡ ዘብንያም፡ ወበከዩ፡ ወኢሎፍሊኒ፡ ተዐየኑ፡ ውስተ፡ መኬማስ።
掃羅和他兒子約拿單，並跟隨他們的人，都住在便雅憫的迦巴；但非利士人安營在密抹。
Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people who were present with them, stayed in Geba of Benjamin; but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.
13:17
ወወፅኡ፡ መስተቃትላን፡ እምነ፡ ሐቅለ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ሠለስቱ፡ ሰራዊት፡ ወሖረ፡ አሐዱ፡ ሰርዌ፡ ላዕለ፡ ፍኖት፡ እንተ፡ ትኔጽር፡ መንገለ፡ ጎፌር፡ ዘኀበ፡ ሶጋክ።
有掠兵從非利士營中出來，分為三隊：一隊往俄弗拉向書亞地去，
The raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned to the way that leads to Ophrah, to the land of Shual;
13:18
ወአሐዱ፡ ሰርዌ፡ ላዕለ፡ ፍኖት፡ እንተ፡ ትኔጽር፡ ዲባ፡ ቤቶሮን ፤ ወአሐዱ፡ ሰርዌ፡ ዲበ፡ ፍኖት፡ እንተ፡ ትኔጽር፡ ላዕለ፡ ገባኦን፡ ወትነሔውጽ፡ ዲበ፡ ጋይ፡ ዘሳቢ።
一隊往伯‧和崙去，一隊往洗波音谷對面的地境向曠野去。
another company turned the way to Beth Horon; and another company turned the way of the border that looks down on the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.
13:19
ወአልቦ፡ ነሃቤ፡ ሐፂን፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ምድረ፡ እስራኤል፡ እስመ፡ ይቤሉ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ኢይግበሩ፡ ሎሙ፡ ለዕብራውያን፡ ሰይፈ፡ ወኲናተ።
那時，以色列全地沒有一個鐵匠；因為非利士人說，恐怕希伯來人製造刀槍。
Now there was no blacksmith found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make themselves swords or spears”;
13:20
ወይወርዱ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ እስራኤል፡ ውስተ፡ ምድረ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ከመ፡ ይንሀቡ፡ ሎሙ፡ ንዋየ፡ ሐቅሎሙ፡ ወጕድቦሙ፡ ወማዕፀዶሙ።
以色列人要磨鋤、犂、斧、鏟，就下到非利士人那裏去磨。
but all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, each man to sharpen his own plowshare, mattock, ax, and sickle.
13:21
ወማእረርሰ፡ በጽሐ፡ ለዐፂድ፡ ወሠለስቱ፡ ሰቅል፡ ሤጡ፡ ለማዕበሉ፡ ወለጕድብኒ፡ ወለማዕፀድኒ፡ ከማሁ፡ ሤጡ።
但有銼可以銼鏟、犂、三齒叉、斧子，並趕牛錐。
The price was one payim each to sharpen mattocks, plowshares, pitchforks, axes, and goads.
13:22
ወይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ አመ፡ ፀብአ፡ መኬማስ፡ አልቦ፡ ዘተረክበ፡ ሰይፍ፡ ወኲናት፡ ውስተ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ለኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እለ፡ ምስለ፡ ሳኦል፡ ወዮናታን፡ ወተረክበ፡ ለሳኦል፡ ወለዮናታን፡ ወልዱ።
所以到了爭戰的日子，跟隨掃羅和約拿單的人沒有一個手裏有刀有槍的，惟獨掃羅和他兒子約拿單有。
So it came to pass in the day of battle that neither sword nor spear was found in the hand of any of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan; but Saul and Jonathan his son had them.
13:23
ወሖረ፡ ውስተ፡ ደወለ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ዘማዕዶተ፡ መኬማስ፡ ወኢነገሮ፡ ለአቡሁ።
非利士人的一隊防兵到了密抹的隘口。
The garrison of the Philistines went out to the pass of Michmash.
