8:1
አንተሰ፡ ጥበበ፡ ስብከ፡ ከመ፡ አእምሮ፡ ታውሥእከ።
智慧豈不呼叫？ 聰明豈不發聲？
Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?
8:2
እስመ፡ ውስተ፡ ጽንፈ፡ ነዋኃት፡ ይእቲ፡ ወማእከለ፡ ፍናው፡ ቆመት፡ ወውስተ፡ አናቅጾሙ፡ ለኃያላን፡ ትጸንሕ።
她在道旁高處的頂上， 在十字路口站立，
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
8:3
ወበውስተ፡ ፍነው፡ ትሴባሕ፡ ኪያክሙ፡ ሰብእ፡ አስተበቊዕ፡ ወእነግር፡ ቃለ፡ ዚኣየ፡ ለውሉደ፡ ሰብእ።
在城門旁，在城門口， 在城門洞，大聲說：
Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
8:4
አእምሩ፡ የዋሃን፡ ተጠብቦ፡ ወዓብዳን፡ አጥርዩ፡ ልበ።
眾人哪，我呼叫你們， 我向世人發聲。
“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
8:5
ስምዑኒ፡ እስመ፡ መፍትወ፡ አየድዕ፡ ወአወፅእ፡ እምከናፍርየ፡ ርቱዐ።
說：愚蒙人哪，你們要會悟靈明； 愚昧人哪，你們當心裏明白。
You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!
8:6
እስመ፡ ጽድቀ፡ ትሜህር፡ ጒርዔየ፡ ወርኩሳት፡ በቅድሜየ፡ ከናፍረ፡ ሐሰት።
你們當聽，因我要說極美的話； 我張嘴要論正直的事。
Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.
8:7
ወጽድቅ፡ ኵሉ፡ ቃለ፡ አፉየ፡ ወአልቦ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ጠዋይ፡ ወማዕቅፍ።
我的口要發出真理； 我的嘴憎惡邪惡。
For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8:8
ኵሉ፡ ርቱዕ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ፡ ለእለ፡ የአምሩ፡ ወርቱዕ፡ ለእለ፡ ይረክቡ፡ ልቡና።
我口中的言語都是公義， 並無彎曲乖僻。
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.
8:9
ንሥኡ፡ ትምህርተ፡ እምብሩር፡ ወአእምሮ፡ እምቀርቅ፡ ፍቱን፡ ወተወከፉ፡ ተዓውቆ፡ እምወርቅ፡ ጽሩይ።
有聰明的，以為明顯， 得知識的，以為正直。
They are all plain to him who understands, right to those who find knowledge.
8:10
እስመ፡ ትኄይስ፡ ጥበብ፡ እምዕንቊ፡ ዘብዙኅ፡ ሤጡ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ክብር፡ ኢመጠና፡ ላቲ።
你們當受我的教訓，不受白銀； 寧得知識，勝過黃金。
Receive my instruction rather than silver, knowledge rather than choice gold.
8:11
አነ፡ ጥበብ፡ አኅደርኩ፡ ምክረ፡ ወአእምሮ፡ ወሕሊና፡ አነ፡ ጸዋዕኩ።
因為智慧比珍珠 更美； 一切可喜愛的都不足與比較。
For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it.
8:12
ፈራሄ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይጸልእ፡ ዓመፃ፡ ጽልአ፡ ወትዕቢተ፡ ወፍናወ፡ እኩያተ፡ ጸላእኩ።
我－智慧以靈明為居所， 又尋得知識和謀略。
“I, wisdom, have made prudence my dwelling. Find out knowledge and discretion.
8:13
ወዓዲ፡ ጸላእኩ፡ ጠዋያተ፡ ፍናወ፡ እኩያን፡ ሊተ፡ ምክር፡ ወእዘዝ፡ ሊተ፡ አእምሮ፡ ወሊተ፡ ጽንዕ።
敬畏耶和華在乎恨惡邪惡； 那驕傲、狂妄，並惡道， 以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。
The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.
8:14
ብየ፡ ነገሥት፡ ይነግሡ፡ ወኃያላን፡ ይጽሕፉ፡ ጽድቀ።
我有謀略和真知識； 我乃聰明，我有能力。
Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.
8:15
ብየ፡ ዓቢያን፡ ይከብሩ፡ ወመኳንንት፡ ይእኅዙ፡ ምድረ።
帝王藉我坐國位； 君王藉我定公平。
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
8:16
አነ፡ እለ፡ ያፈቅሩኒ፡ አፈቅር፡ ወእለ፡ የኀሥሡ፡ ኪያየ፡ ይረክቡ፡ ሞገሰ።
王子和首領， 世上一切的審判官，都是藉我掌權。
By me princes rule, nobles, and all the righteous rulers of the earth.
8:17
ክብር፡ ወብዕል፡ ኀቤየ፡ ሀሎ፡ ወጥሪት፡ ብዙኅ፡ ወጽድቅ፡ ይኄይስ፡ ኪያሃ፡ ኀሪይ፡ እምወርቅ፡ ወእምዕንቊ፡ ክቡር።
愛我的，我也愛他； 懇切尋求我的，必尋得見。
I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.
8:18
ወፍሬ፡ ዚአየ፡ ይኄይስ፡ እምብሩር፡ ጽሩይ።
豐富尊榮在我； 恆久的財並公義也在我。
With me are riches, honor, enduring wealth, and prosperity.
8:19
ወውስተ፡ ፍናወ፡ ጽድቅ፡ አንሶሱ፡ ወማእከለ፡ አሠረ፡ ጽድቅ፡ እትመያየጥ።
我的果實勝過黃金，強如精金； 我的出產超乎高銀。
My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, my yield than choice silver.
8:20
ከመ፡ እከፍሎሙ፡ ጥሪተ፡ ለእለ፡ የአምሩኒ፡ ወመዛግብቲሆሙ፡ እምላእ፡ ተድላ።
我在公義的道上走， 在公平的路中行，
I walk in the way of righteousness, in the middle of the paths of justice,
8:21
እመ፡ ነገርኩክሙ፡ እንተ፡ ጸብሐት፡ ዘይከውን፡ ወዓዲ፡ እዜከር፡ ዘእምዓለም፡ ኊልቈ።
使愛我的，承受貨財， 並充滿他們的府庫。
that I may give wealth to those who love me. I fill their treasuries.
8:22
እግዚአብሔር፡ ፈጠረኒ፡ ቀዳሜ፡ ኵሉ፡ ተግባሩ፡ እምቅድመ፡ ይሣርር፡ ዓለመ።
在耶和華造化的起頭， 在太初創造萬物之先，就有了我。
“Yahweh possessed me in the beginning of his work, before his deeds of old.
8:23
ወዘእንበለ፡ ይግበር፡ ምድረ፡ ወዘእንበለ፡ ይግበር፡ ቀላያተ፡ ወዘእንበለ፡ ይፃኡ፡ አንቅዕተ፡ ማያት።
從亙古，從太初， 未有世界以前，我已被立。
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth existed.
8:24
ወዘእንበለ፡ አድባር፡ ይተከሉ፡ (ይጠዓጥዑ)፡ ወእምቅድመ፡ አውግር፡ ወለደኒ።
沒有深淵， 沒有大水的泉源，我已生出。
When there were no depths, I was born, when there were no springs abounding with water.
8:25
ወእምቅድመ፡ ይግበር፡ በሐውርተ፡ ወአጽናፈ፡ ዘይትኅደር፡ እምሰማይ።
大山未曾奠定， 小山未有之先，我已生出。
Before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was born;
8:26
አመ፡ ያስተዴሉ፡ ሰማያተ፡ ሀሎኩ፡ ወአመ፡ ያጸንዕ፡ መንበረ፡ ዚአሁ፡ ላዕለ፡ ነፋሳት።
耶和華還沒有創造大地和田野， 並世上的土質，我已生出。
while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world.
8:27
ወአመ፡ ጽኑዐ፡ ይገብር፡ በመልዕልተ፡ ደመናት፡ ወአመ፡ ያፀንዕ፡ አንብሮ፡ አንቅዕተ፡ ማያት።
他立高天，我在那裏； 他在淵面的周圍，劃出圓圈。
When he established the heavens, I was there. When he set a circle on the surface of the deep,
8:28
ወአመ፡ ያነብር፡ ወሰነ፡ ለባሕር፡ ወማያት፡ ኢይፃኡ፡ እምአፈ፡ ዚአሁ።
上使穹蒼堅硬， 下使淵源穩固，
when he established the clouds above, when the springs of the deep became strong,
8:29
ወአመ፡ ጽኑዐ፡ ይገብር፡ ወሠረታተ፡ ምድር፡ ሀሎኩ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ እንዘ፡ አስተዋድድ።
為滄海定出界限，使水不越過他的命令， 立定大地的根基。
when he gave to the sea its boundary, that the waters should not violate his commandment, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,
8:30
አነ፡ ይእቲ፡ እንተ፡ እትፌሣሕ፡ እንተ፡ ጽብሐት፡ ወእትኃሠይ፡ በበገጹ፡ በኵሉ፡ ጊዜ፡ ወአመ፡ ይትፌሣሕ፡ ዓለመ፡ ፈጺሞ፡ ወፍሥሓየኒ፡ በደቂቀ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው።
那時，我在他那裏為工師， 日日為他所喜愛， 常常在他面前踴躍，
then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him,
8:31
ወይእዜኒ፡ ወልድየ፡ ስምዓኒ፡ ብፁዓን፡ እለ፡ የዓቅቡ፡ ፍኖትየ።
踴躍在他為人預備可住之地， 也喜悅住在世人之間。
rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.
8:32
ስምዑ፡ ጥበበ፡ ወጥበቡ፡ ወኢትትፈፀሙ፡ ብፁዕ፡ ብእሲ፡ ዘይሰምዓኒ፡ ቃልየ።
眾子啊，現在要聽從我， 因為謹守我道的，便為有福。
“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.
8:33
ወብፁዕ፡ ዘየዓቅብ፡ ፍኖትየ፡ ወይተግህ፡ ውስተ፡ አናቅጸ፡ ዚአየ፡ እንተ፡ ጸብሐት፡ ወዘየዓቅብ፡ ራግዛተ፡ ሙባእየ።
要聽教訓就得智慧， 不可棄絕。
Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.
8:34
እስመ፡ ፍናውየ፡ ፍናወ፡ ሕይወት፡ ዘረከበኒ፡ ረከበ፡ ሕይወተ፡ ወይዴላው፡ ፈቃዱ፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
聽從我、日日在我門口仰望、 在我門框旁邊等候的，那人便為有福。
Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.
8:35
ወእለሰ፡ ይኤብሱ፡ ላዕሌየ፡ ይጌግዩ፡ ላዕለ፡ ነፍሶሙ፡ ወእለ፡ ይጸልኡኒ፡ ያፈቅሩ፡ ሞተ።
因為尋得我的，就尋得生命， 也必蒙耶和華的恩惠。
For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.
