6:1
בְּ֭נִי אִם־עָרַ֣בְתָּ לְרֵעֶ֑ךָ תָּקַ֖עְתָּ לַזָּ֣ר כַּפֶּֽיךָ׃
我兒,你若為朋友作保, 替外人擊掌,
My son, if you have become collateral for your neighbor, if you have struck your hands in pledge for a stranger,
6:2
נוֹקַ֥שְׁתָּ בְאִמְרֵי־פִ֑יךָ נִ֝לְכַּ֗דְתָּ בְּאִמְרֵי־פִֽיךָ׃
你就被口中的話語纏住, 被嘴裏的言語捉住。
you are trapped by the words of your mouth; you are ensnared with the words of your mouth.
6:3
עֲשֵׂ֨ה זֹ֥את אֵפ֪וֹא׀בְּנִ֡י וְֽהִנָּצֵ֗ל כִּ֘י־בָ֤אתָ בְכַף־רֵעֶ֑ךָ לֵ֥ךְ הִ֝תְרַפֵּ֗ס וּרְהַ֥ב רֵעֶֽיךָ׃
我兒,你既落在朋友手中, 就當這樣行才可救自己: 你要自卑,去懇求你的朋友。
Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself, since you have come into the hand of your neighbor. Go, humble yourself. Press your plea with your neighbor.
6:4
אַל־תִּתֵּ֣ן שֵׁנָ֣ה לְעֵינֶ֑יךָ וּ֝תְנוּמָ֗ה לְעַפְעַפֶּֽיךָ׃
不要容你的眼睛睡覺; 不要容你的眼皮打盹。
Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.
6:5
הִ֭נָּצֵל כִּצְבִ֣י מִיָּ֑ד וּ֝כְצִפּ֗וֹר מִיַּ֥ד יָקֽוּשׁ׃ {פ}
要救自己,如鹿脫離獵戶的手, 如鳥脫離捕鳥人的手。
Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler.
6:6
לֵֽךְ־אֶל־נְמָלָ֥ה עָצֵ֑ל רְאֵ֖ה דְרָכֶ֣יהָ וַחֲכָֽם׃
懶惰人哪, 你去察看螞蟻的動作就可得智慧。
Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise;
6:7
אֲשֶׁ֖ר אֵֽין־לָ֥הּ קָצִ֗ין שֹׁטֵ֥ר וּמֹשֵֽׁל׃
螞蟻沒有元帥, 沒有官長,沒有君王,
which having no chief, overseer, or ruler,
6:8
תָּכִ֣ין בַּקַּ֣יִץ לַחְמָ֑הּ אָגְרָ֥ה בַ֝קָּצִ֗יר מַאֲכָלָֽהּ׃
尚且在夏天預備食物, 在收割時聚斂糧食。
provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.
6:9
עַד־מָתַ֖י עָצֵ֥ל׀תִּשְׁכָּ֑ב מָ֝תַ֗י תָּק֥וּם מִשְּׁנָתֶֽךָ׃
懶惰人哪,你要睡到幾時呢? 你何時睡醒呢?
How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep?
6:10
מְעַ֣ט שֵׁ֭נוֹת מְעַ֣ט תְּנוּמ֑וֹת מְעַ֓ט׀ חִבֻּ֖ק יָדַ֣יִם לִשְׁכָּֽב׃
再睡片時,打盹片時, 抱着手躺臥片時,
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep—
6:11
וּבָֽא־כִמְהַלֵּ֥ךְ רֵאשֶׁ֑ךָ וּ֝מַחְסֹרְךָ֗ כְּאִ֣ישׁ מָגֵֽן׃ {פ}
你的貧窮就必如強盜速來, 你的缺乏彷彿拿兵器的人來到。
so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man.
6:12
אָדָ֣ם בְּ֭לִיַּעַל אִ֣ישׁ אָ֑וֶן ה֝וֹלֵ֗ךְ עִקְּשׁ֥וּת פֶּֽה׃
無賴的惡徒, 行動就用乖僻的口,
A worthless person, a man of iniquity, is he who walks with a perverse mouth,
6:13
קֹרֵ֣ץ בְּ֭עֵינָו מֹלֵ֣ל בְּרַגְלָ֑ו מֹ֝רֶ֗ה בְּאֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו׃
用眼傳神, 用腳示意, 用指點劃,
who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet, who motions with his fingers,
6:14
תַּ֥הְפֻּכ֨וֹת׀ בְּלִבּ֗וֹ חֹרֵ֣שׁ רָ֣ע בְּכׇל־עֵ֑ת (מדנים) [מִדְיָנִ֥ים] יְשַׁלֵּֽחַ׃
心中乖僻, 常設惡謀, 布散紛爭。
in whose heart is perverseness, who devises evil continually, who always sows discord.
6:15
עַל־כֵּ֗ן פִּ֭תְאֹם יָב֣וֹא אֵיד֑וֹ פֶּ֥תַע יִ֝שָּׁבֵ֗ר וְאֵ֣ין מַרְפֵּֽא׃ {פ}
所以,災難必忽然臨到他身; 他必頃刻敗壞,無法可治。
Therefore his calamity will come suddenly. He will be broken suddenly, and that without remedy.
6:16
שֶׁשׁ־הֵ֭נָּה שָׂנֵ֣א יְהֹוָ֑ה וְ֝שֶׁ֗בַע (תועבות) [תּוֹעֲבַ֥ת] נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃
耶和華所恨惡的有六樣, 連他心所憎惡的共有七樣:
There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him:
6:17
עֵינַ֣יִם רָ֭מוֹת לְשׁ֣וֹן שָׁ֑קֶר וְ֝יָדַ֗יִם שֹׁפְכ֥וֹת דָּם־נָקִֽי׃
就是高傲的眼, 撒謊的舌, 流無辜人血的手,
arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
6:18
לֵ֗ב חֹ֭רֵשׁ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת אָ֑וֶן רַגְלַ֥יִם מְ֝מַהֲר֗וֹת לָר֥וּץ לָרָעָֽה׃
圖謀惡計的心, 飛跑行惡的腳,
a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief,
6:19
יָפִ֣יחַ כְּ֭זָבִים עֵ֣ד שָׁ֑קֶר וּמְשַׁלֵּ֥חַ מְ֝דָנִ֗ים בֵּ֣ין אַחִֽים׃ {פ}
吐謊言的假見證, 並弟兄中布散紛爭的人。
a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.
6:20
נְצֹ֣ר בְּ֭נִי מִצְוַ֣ת אָבִ֑יךָ וְאַל־תִּ֝טֹּ֗שׁ תּוֹרַ֥ת אִמֶּֽךָ׃
我兒,要謹守你父親的誡命; 不可離棄你母親的法則 ,
My son, keep your father’s commandment, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching.
6:21
קׇשְׁרֵ֣ם עַל־לִבְּךָ֣ תָמִ֑יד עׇ֝נְדֵ֗ם עַל־גַּרְגְּרֹתֶֽךָ׃
要常繫在你心上, 掛在你項上。
Bind them continually on your heart. Tie them around your neck.
6:22
בְּהִתְהַלֶּכְךָ֨׀ תַּנְחֶ֬ה אֹתָ֗ךְ בְּֽ֭שׇׁכְבְּךָ תִּשְׁמֹ֣ר עָלֶ֑יךָ וַ֝הֲקִיצ֗וֹתָ הִ֣יא תְשִׂיחֶֽךָ׃
你行走,它必引導你; 你躺臥,它必保守你; 你睡醒,它必與你談論。
When you walk, it will lead you. When you sleep, it will watch over you. When you awake, it will talk with you.
6:23
כִּ֤י נֵ֣ר מִ֭צְוָה וְת֣וֹרָה א֑וֹר וְדֶ֥רֶךְ חַ֝יִּ֗ים תּוֹכְח֥וֹת מוּסָֽר׃
因為誡命是燈,法則 是光, 訓誨的責備是生命的道,
For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light. Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,
6:24
לִ֭שְׁמׇרְךָ מֵאֵ֣שֶׁת רָ֑ע מֵ֝חֶלְקַ֗ת לָשׁ֥וֹן נׇכְרִיָּֽה׃
能保你遠離惡婦, 遠離外女諂媚的舌頭。
to keep you from the immoral woman, from the flattery of the wayward wife’s tongue.
6:25
אַל־תַּחְמֹ֣ד יׇ֭פְיָהּ בִּלְבָבֶ֑ךָ וְאַל־תִּ֝קָּחֲךָ֗ בְּעַפְעַפֶּֽיהָ׃
你心中不要戀慕她的美色, 也不要被她眼皮勾引。
Don’t lust after her beauty in your heart, neither let her captivate you with her eyelids.
6:26
כִּ֤י בְעַד־אִשָּׁ֥ה זוֹנָ֗ה עַֽד־כִּכַּ֫ר־לָ֥חֶם וְאֵ֥שֶׁת אִ֑ישׁ נֶ֖פֶשׁ יְקָרָ֣ה תָצֽוּד׃ {פ}
因為,妓女能使人只剩一塊餅; 淫婦獵取人寶貴的生命。
For a prostitute reduces you to a piece of bread. The adulteress hunts for your precious life.
6:27
הֲיַחְתֶּ֤ה אִ֓ישׁ אֵ֬שׁ בְּחֵיק֑וֹ וּ֝בְגָדָ֗יו לֹ֣א תִשָּׂרַֽפְנָה׃
人若懷裏搋火, 衣服豈能不燒呢?
Can a man scoop fire into his lap, and his clothes not be burned?
6:28
אִם־יְהַלֵּ֣ךְ אִ֭ישׁ עַל־הַגֶּחָלִ֑ים וְ֝רַגְלָ֗יו לֹ֣א תִכָּוֶֽינָה׃
人若在火炭上走, 腳豈能不燙呢?
Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
6:29
כֵּ֗ן הַ֭בָּא אֶל־אֵ֣שֶׁת רֵעֵ֑הוּ לֹ֥א יִ֝נָּקֶ֗ה כׇּֽל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בָּֽהּ׃
親近鄰舍之妻的,也是如此; 凡挨近她的,不免受罰。
So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife. Whoever touches her will not be unpunished.
6:30
לֹא־יָב֣וּזוּ לַ֭גַּנָּב כִּ֣י יִגְנ֑וֹב לְמַלֵּ֥א נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ כִּ֣י יִרְעָֽב׃
賊因飢餓偷竊充飢, 人不藐視他,
Men don’t despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry,
6:31
וְ֭נִמְצָא יְשַׁלֵּ֣ם שִׁבְעָתָ֑יִם אֶת־כׇּל־ה֖וֹן בֵּית֣וֹ יִתֵּֽן׃
若被找着,他必賠還七倍, 必將家中所有的盡都償還。
but if he is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the wealth of his house.
6:32
נֹאֵ֣ף אִשָּׁ֣ה חֲסַר־לֵ֑ב מַֽשְׁחִ֥ית נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ ה֣וּא יַעֲשֶֽׂנָּה׃
與婦人行淫的,便是無知; 行這事的,必喪掉生命。
He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul.
6:33
נֶגַע־וְקָל֥וֹן יִמְצָ֑א וְ֝חֶרְפָּת֗וֹ לֹ֣א תִמָּחֶֽה׃
他必受傷損,必被凌辱; 他的羞恥不得塗抹。
He will get wounds and dishonor. His reproach will not be wiped away.
6:34
כִּֽי־קִנְאָ֥ה חֲמַת־גָּ֑בֶר וְלֹא־יַ֝חְמ֗וֹל בְּי֣וֹם נָקָֽם׃
因為人的嫉恨成了烈怒, 報仇的時候決不留情。
For jealousy arouses the fury of the husband. He won’t spare in the day of vengeance.
6:35
לֹֽא־יִ֭שָּׂא פְּנֵ֣י כׇל־כֹּ֑פֶר וְלֹא־יֹ֝אבֶ֗ה כִּ֣י תַרְבֶּה־שֹּֽׁחַד׃ {פ}
甚麼贖價,他都不顧; 你雖送許多禮物,他也不肯干休。
He won’t regard any ransom, neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.
