4:1

Τέκνον μου, τοῦ λαλοῦντός σοι τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ μνησθήσῃ νυκτὸς καὶ ἡμέρας, τιμήσεις δὲ αὐτὸν ὡς κύριον: ὅθεν γὰρ ἡ κυριότης λαλεῖται, ἐκεῖ κύριός ἐστιν

我的孩子，那向你講說神之道的人，你要晝夜記念他，又要尊敬他如同主；因為凡傳揚主權之處，那裡就有主。

My child, you shall remember him who speaks to you the word of God night and day, and you shall honor him as the Lord; for wherever the Lordship is proclaimed, there the Lord is.

4:2

ἐκζητήσεις δὲ καθ̓ ἡμέραν τὰ πρόσωπα τῶν ἁγίων, ἵνα ἐπαναπαῇς τοῖς λόγοις αὐτῶν

你要天天尋求聖徒的面，好叫你因他們的話得安息。

And you shall seek out daily the presence of the saints, that you may find rest in their words.

4:3

οὐ ποθήσεις σχίσμα, εἰρηνεύσεις δὲ μαχομένους: κρινεῖς δικαίως, οὐ λήψῃ πρόσωπον ἐλέγξαι ἐπὶ παραπτώμασιν

不可渴慕分爭，乃要使爭吵的人和睦；要按公義審判；責備人的過犯時，不可徇情面。

You shall not long for division, but shall make peace between those who quarrel; you shall judge righteously; you shall not show partiality in reproving transgressions.

4:4

οὐ διψυχήσεις, πότερον ἔσται ἢ οὔ

不可三心二意，疑惑事情成不成。

You shall not be of two minds whether it shall be or not.

4:5

Μὴ γίνου πρὸς μὲν τὸ λαβεῖν ἐκτείνων τὰς χεῖρας, πρὸς δὲ τὸ δοῦναι συσπῶν

不可在接受時伸手，在施與時就縮手。

Do not be one who stretches out his hands to receive, but draws them in when it comes to giving.

4:6

ἐὰν ἔχῃς διὰ τῶν χειρῶν σου, δώσεις λύτρωσιν ἁμαρτιῶν σου

你若靠雙手有所得，就當捐輸，作為你罪的贖價。

If you have anything through your hands, you shall give a ransom for your sins.

4:7

οὐ διστάσεις δοῦναι οὐδὲ διδοὺς γογγύσεις: γνώσῃ γάρ, τίς ἐστιν ὁ τοῦ μισθοῦ καλὸς ἀνταποδότης

施與時不可遲疑，也不可發怨言；因為你要知道，那善於賞報的是誰。

You shall not hesitate to give, nor grumble when giving; for you shall know who is the good rewarder of the recompense.

4:8

οὐκ ἀποστραφήσῃ τὸν ἐνδεόμενον, συγκοινωνήσεις δὲ πάντα τῷ ἀδελφῷ σοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐρεῖς ἴδια εἶναι: εἰ γὰρ ἐν τῷ ἀθανάτῳ κοινωνοί ἐστε, πόσῳ μᾶλλον ἐν τοῖς θνητοῖς

不可轉臉不顧窮乏人，乃要與你的弟兄凡物共用，不可說那是自己的；因為你們既在不朽的事上有分，何況在那必朽的物上呢？

You shall not turn away from the needy, but shall share all things with your brother, and shall not say that they are your own; for if you are partners in what is immortal, how much more in mortal things.

4:9

Οὐκ ἀρεῖς τὴν χεῖρά σου ἀπὸ τοῦ υἱοῦ σου ἢ ἀπὸ τῆς θυγατρός σου, ἀλλὰ ἀπὸ νεότητος διδάξεις τὸν φόβον τοῦ θεοῦ

不可放手不管你的兒子或女兒，乃要從幼年就教導他們敬畏神。

You shall not withhold your hand from your son or your daughter, but from their youth you shall teach them the fear of God.
