34:1
ወደገመ፡ ኤልዩስ፡ ወይቤ።
以利戶又說：
Moreover Elihu answered,
34:2
ስምዑኒ፡ ጠቢባን፡ ወአጽምኡኒ፡ ሠናየ፡ ማእምራን።
你們智慧人要聽我的話； 有知識的人要留心聽我說。
“Hear my words, you wise men. Give ear to me, you who have knowledge.
34:3
እስመ፡ ዕዝን፡ ነገረ፡ ይፈልጥ፡ ወጕርዔኒ፡ አክለ፡ ይጥዕም።
因為耳朵試驗話語， 好像上膛嘗食物。
For the ear tries words, as the palate tastes food.
34:4
ደይነ፡ ንነሥእ፡ ለርእስነ፡ ወነአምር፡ ምንተ፡ ይኄይስ፡ በማእከሌነ።
我們當選擇何為是， 彼此知道何為善。
Let us choose for us that which is right. Let us know among ourselves what is good.
34:5
እስመ፡ ይቤ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ጻድቅ፡ አነ፡ ወሠለጠ፡ ሊተ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ፍትሕየ፡ ወአሐምም፡ በግፍዕ፡ ዘአልብየ፡ አበሳ።
約伯曾說：我是公義， 上帝奪去我的理；
For Job has said, ‘I am righteous, God has taken away my right.
34:6
መኑ፡ ሰብእ፡ ከመ፡ ኢዮብ፡ ዘይሰትያ፡ ለትዕግሥት፡ ከመ፡ ማይ።
我雖有理，還算為說謊言的； 我雖無過，受的傷還不能醫治。
Notwithstanding my right I am considered a liar. My wound is incurable, though I am without disobedience.’
34:7
ኢአበሰ፡ ወኢጌገየ፡ ግሙራ፡ ወኢተሳተፈ፡ ምስለ፡ ገበርተ፡ ዓመፃ፡ ወኢሖረ፡ ምስለ፡ ኃጥአን።
誰像約伯， 喝譏誚如同喝水呢？
What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water,
34:8
ወይቤ፡ ኢይዋህይዎ፡ ለሰብእ፡ በሩዐቱ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
他與作孽的結伴， 和惡人同行。
who goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men?
34:9
ወይእዜኒ፡ ስምዑኒ፡ ጠቢባነልብ፡ ወኢትፍቅዱ፡ ተአብሱ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ወኢትሁክዎ፡ ለጻድቅ፡ በቅድመ፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ።
他說：人以上帝為樂， 總是無益。
For he has said, ‘It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.’
34:10
ወይፈድዮ፡ ለኵሉ፡ ሰብእ፡ በከመ፡ ምግባሩ፡ ወይረክቦ፡ ለሰብእ፡ በከመ፡ ፍኖቱ።
所以，你們明理的人要聽我的話。 上帝斷不致行惡； 全能者斷不致作孽。
“Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
34:11
ትሬስዮኑ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ይገፍዕ፡ ወዘኵሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ ከመ፡ ይዌልጥ፡ ፍትሐ፡ ዘውእቱ፡ ፈጠራ፡ ለምድር።
他必按人所做的報應人， 使各人照所行的得報。
For the work of a man he will give to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
34:12
መኑ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ዘታሕተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ዘውስቴታ።
上帝必不作惡； 全能者也不偏離公平。
Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice.
34:13
ወለእመ፡ ውእቱ፡ ፈቀደ፡ ያጸንዕ፡ ወይእኅዝ፡ መንፈሰ፡ ዘኀቤሁ።
誰派他治理地， 安定全世界呢？
Who put him in charge of the earth? Or who has appointed him over the whole world?
34:14
ወይመውት፡ ኵሊ፡ ዘሥጋ፡ ኅቡረ፡ ኵሉ፡ መዋቲ፡ ወውስተ፡ መሬት፡ ይገብእ፡ እምኀበ፡ ተፈጥረ።
他若專心為己， 將靈和氣收歸自己，
If he set his heart on himself, if he gathered to himself his spirit and his breath,
34:15
ወእመአኮሰ፡ ተገሠዕ፡ ወስማዕ፡ ዘንተ፡ ነገረ፡ ወአጽእ፡ ቃለ፡ በገርየ፡ አንተ።
凡有血氣的就必一同死亡； 世人必仍歸塵土。
all flesh would perish together, and man would turn again to dust.
34:16
ዝኩ፡ ዘይጸልእ፡ ዓመፃ፡ ወዘያጠፍኦሙ፡ ለእኩያን፡ ዘለዓለም፡ ጻድቅ።
你若明理，就當聽我的話， 留心聽我言語的聲音。
“If now you have understanding, hear this. Listen to the voice of my words.
34:17
ጽሩፍ፡ ዘይብሎ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ አበስከ፡ ወእኩይ፡ ብሂል፡ ለመላእክተ።
難道恨惡公平的可以掌權嗎？ 那有公義的、有大能的，豈可定他有罪嗎？
Should even one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty,
34:18
ዘኢየኃፍር፡ ገጸ፡ ክቡር፡ ወዘኢየአምር፡ አክብሮ፡ ዓቢይ፡ ወዘኢይጌግፅ፡ እምገጾሙ።
他對君王說：你是鄙陋的； 對貴臣說：你是邪惡的。
who says to a king, ‘Vile!’ or to nobles, ‘Wicked!’?
34:19
ከንቱ፡ ይረክቦ፡ ለዘይጽርሕ፡ ወኢያጸምኦ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ወገብረ፡ እኩየ፡ ዲበ፡ ምስኪናን።
他待王子不徇情面， 也不看重富足的過於貧窮的， 因為都是他手所造。
He doesn’t respect the persons of princes, nor respect the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of his hands.
34:20
ወለሊሁ፡ ይሬኢ፡ ምግባሮ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ምንትኒ፡ ዘይትኃባእ፡ እምኔሁ።
在轉眼之間，半夜之中， 他們就死亡。 百姓被震動而去世； 有權力的被奪去非借人手。
In a moment they die, even at midnight. The people are shaken and pass away. The mighty are taken away without a hand.
34:21
አልቦ፡ ብሔር፡ ኀበ፡ ይትኃብእዎ፡ ገበርተ፡ ዓመፃ፡ እስመ፡ ኢያምሠጡ፡ እንከ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኵሎ፡ ይሬኢ።
上帝注目觀看人的道路， 看明人的腳步。
“For his eyes are on the ways of a man. He sees all his goings.
34:22
ወዘየአምር፡ ዘአልቦ፡ አሠር፡ ክቡራተ፡ ወመንክራተ፡ ዘአልቦ፡ ኍልቊ።
沒有黑暗、陰翳能給作孽的藏身。
There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
34:23
ወዘየአምር፡ ምግባሮሙ፡ ወያገብእ፡ ሌሊተ፡ ወየሐም፡ ሞሙ።
上帝審判人，不必使人到他面前再三鑒察。
For he doesn’t need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.
34:24
ወያጠፍኦሙ፡ ለኃጥአን፡ ጻድቃንሰ፡ ቅድሙሁ፡ እሙንቱ።
他用難測之法打破有能力的人， 設立別人代替他們。
He breaks mighty men in pieces in ways past finding out, and sets others in their place.
34:25
ወእለሰ፡ ተግኅሡ፡ እምሕግ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኢየአምሩ፡ ኵነኔሁ፡ ከመ፡ ያግብእ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ አውጣተ፡ ነዳያን፡ ወይሰምዕ፡ ገዓረ፡ ምስኪናን።
他原知道他們的行為， 使他們在夜間傾倒滅亡。
Therefore he takes knowledge of their works. He overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
34:26
ወውእቱ፡ ይሁቦሙ፡ ዕረፍተ፡ ወመኑ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘይኴንን፡ ወየሀብእ፡ ገጾ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይሬእዮ፡ ለለሕዝቡ፡ ወለለሰብኡ፡ ኅቡረ።
他在眾人眼前擊打他們， 如同擊打惡人一樣。
He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
34:27
ወያነግሥ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ብእሴ፡ መደልወ፡ በእንተ፡ እከየ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ዘይብሎ፡ ለኃያል፡ ነሣእኩ፡ ወአልብየ፡ አኅዝ።
因為他們偏行不跟從他， 也不留心他的道，
because they turned away from following him, and wouldn’t pay attention to any of his ways,
34:28
አነሂ፡ ለልየ፡ እሬኢ፡ ወእንተኒ፡ አርእየኒ፡ እመ፡ ዐመፃ፡ ገብርኩ፡ ወእመ፡ ተናገርኩ፡ ሐሰተ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይድግም፡ ተናገሮ።
甚至使貧窮人的哀聲達到他那裏； 他也聽了困苦人的哀聲。
so that they caused the cry of the poor to come to him. He heard the cry of the afflicted.
34:29
ቦኑ፡ እምኀቤከ፡ ነሣእክዋ፡ ከመ፡ ትርኀቀኒ፡ አንተ፡ እስመ፡ አንተ፡ ተኃሪ፡ ወአኮ፡ አነ።
他使人安靜，誰能擾亂 呢？ 他掩面，誰能見他呢？ 無論待一國或一人都是如此－
When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? He is over a nation or a man alike,
34:30
ወእመቦ፡ ዘተአምር፡ ንግር፡ እስመ፡ ጠቢባነ፡ ልብ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይብሉ፡ ወብእሲ፡ ጠቢብ፡ ይሰምዓኒ፡ ቃልየ።
使不虔敬的人不得作王， 免得有人牢籠百姓。
that the godless man may not reign, that there be no one to ensnare the people.
34:31
ወኢዮብሰ፡ አኮ፡ ከመ፡ ጠቢብ፡ ዘይትናገር፡ ወነገሩኒ፡ ኢኮነ፡ ከመ፡ ምሁር።
有誰對上帝說： 我受了責罰，不再犯罪；
“For has any said to God, ‘I am guilty, but I will not offend any more.
34:32
ወባሕቱ፡ ተመሀር፡ ኢዮብ፡ ወኢተዘውሥእ፡ እንከ፡ ከመ፡ ዓብዳን።
我所看不明的，求你指教我； 我若作了孽，必不再作？
Teach me that which I don’t see. If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more’?
34:33
ከመ፡ ኢትወስክ፡ ዕበደ፡ በዲበ፡ ኃጣውኢከ፡ ወይከውነከ፡ ጌጋየ፡ ነቢበ፡ ብዙኅ፡ ነገር፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
他施行報應， 豈要隨你的心願、叫你推辭不受嗎？ 選定的是你，不是我。 你所知道的只管說吧！
Shall his recompense be as you desire, that you refuse it? For you must choose, and not I. Therefore speak what you know.
