3:1
ወጌሠ ፡ በጽባሕ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ወግዕዙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ሳጢን ፡ ወበጽሑ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወኀደሩ ፡ ህየ ፡ እንበለ ፡ ይዕድው ።
Joshua got up early in the morning; and they moved from Shittim and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel. They camped there before they crossed over.
約書亞清早起來，和以色列眾人都離開什亭，來到約旦河，就住在那裏，等候過河。
3:2
ወእምድኅረ ፡ ሠሉስ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ቦኡ ፡ ጸሐፍት ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
After three days, the officers went through the middle of the camp;
過了三天，官長走遍營中，
3:3
ወአስተኃለፉ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ እምከመ ፡ ርኢክሙ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ፡ ወካህናቲነ ፡ ወሌዋውያኒነ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይጸውርዋ ፡ ገዐዙ ፡ አንትሙኒ ፡ እምነ ፡ መካናቲክሙ ፡ ወትልው ፡ ድኅሬሃ ።
and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of Yahweh your God’s covenant, and the Levitical priests bearing it, then leave your place and follow it.
吩咐百姓說：「你們看見耶和華－你們上帝的約櫃，又見祭司利未人抬着，就要離開所住的地方，跟着約櫃去。
3:4
ወባሕቱ ፡ ርሑቀ ፡ [ይኩን ፡] ማእከሌክሙ ፡ ወማእከሌሃ ፡ መጠነ ፡ ዕሥራ ፡ ምእት ፡ በእመት ፡ ወበመስፈርቱ ፡ ቁሙ ፡ ወኢትቅረብዋ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታእምሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ እንተ ፡ ተሐውሩ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢሖርክምዋ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ፍኖት ፡ ትካት ።
Yet there shall be a space between you and it of about two thousand cubits by measure—don’t come closer to it—that you may know the way by which you must go; for you have not passed this way before.”
只是你們和約櫃相離要量二千肘，不可與約櫃相近，使你們知道所當走的路，因為這條路你們向來沒有走過。」
3:5
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ አንጽሑ ፡ ርእሰክሙ ፡ ለጌሠም ፡ እስመ ፡ ጌሠመ ፡ ይገብር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ መድምመ ፡ ለክሙ ።
Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow Yahweh will do wonders among you.”
約書亞吩咐百姓說：「你們要自潔，因為明天耶和華必在你們中間行奇事。」
3:6
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ለካህናት ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብል ፡ ንሥኡ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሑሩ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወነሥኡ ፡ ካህናት ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሖሩ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ሕዝብ ።
Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and cross over before the people.” They took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
約書亞又吩咐祭司說：「你們抬起約櫃，在百姓前頭過去。」於是他們抬起約櫃，在百姓前頭走。
3:7
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኢየሱስ ፡ ናሁ ፡ በዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ እእኅዝ ፡ ኣዕቢከ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመ ፡ ያእምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሀለውኩ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ በከመ ፡ ሀለውኩ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሙሴ ።
Yahweh said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to magnify you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
耶和華對約書亞說：「從今日起，我必使你在以色列眾人眼前尊大，使他們知道我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在。
3:8
ወይእዜኒ ፡ አዝዞሙ ፡ ለካህናት ፡ እለ ፡ ይጸውሩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ እምከመ ፡ ቦእክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽንፈ ፡ ማዩ ፡ ለዮርዳንስ ፡ ቁሙ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ ለዮርዳንስ ።
You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you come to the brink of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.’”
你要吩咐抬約櫃的祭司說：『你們到了約旦河的水邊上，就要在約旦河水裏站住。』」
3:9
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ቅረቡ ፡ ዝየ ፡ ወስምዑ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክነ ።
Joshua said to the children of Israel, “Come here, and hear the words of Yahweh your God.”
約書亞對以色列人說：「你們近前來，聽耶和華－你們上帝的話。」
3:10
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ በዝንቱ ፡ ተአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሕያው ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘምስሌክሙ ፡ ወአጥፍኦ ፡ ያጠፍኦሙ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጽክሙ ፡ ለከናኔዎን ፡ [ወለኬጤዎን ፡] ወለፌሬዜዎን ፡ ወለኤዌዎን ፡ ወለአሞሬዎን ፡ ወለኢያቡሴዎን ፡ ወለጌርጌሴዎን ።
Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite out from before you.
約書亞說：「看哪，普天下主的約櫃必在你們前頭過去，到約旦河裏，因此你們就知道在你們中間有永生上帝；並且他必在你們面前趕出迦南人、赫人、希未人、比利洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、耶布斯人。
3:11
ወናሁ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ [ተዐዱ ፡ ቅድሜክሙ ፡] ዮርዳንስ ።
Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passes over before you into the Jordan.
約書亞說：「看哪，普天下主的約櫃必在你們前頭過去，到約旦河裏，因此你們就知道在你們中間有永生上帝；並且他必在你們面前趕出迦南人、赫人、希未人、比利洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、耶布斯人。
3:12
ወኅረዩ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ዐሠርተ ፡ ወክልኤተ ፡ ዕደወ ፡ እምነ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ አሐደ ፡ አሐደ ፡ ብእሴ ፡ እምነ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ነገድ ።
Now therefore take twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, for every tribe a man.
你們現在要從以色列支派中揀選十二個人，每支派一人，
3:13
ወሶበ ፡ አቀሙ ፡ እገሪሆሙ ፡ ካህናት ፡ እለ ፡ ይጸውሩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ በውስተ ፡ ማየ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ይነጽፍ ፡ ማየ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ወማይኒ ፡ ዘይወርድ ፡ እምነ ፡ ላዕሉ ፡ ይቀውም ።
It shall be that when the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of Yahweh, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan will be cut off. The waters that come down from above shall stand in one heap.”
等到抬普天下主耶和華約櫃的祭司把腳站在約旦河水裏，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然斷絕，立起成壘。」
3:14
ወእምዝ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ግዕዘ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እምነ ፡ መኃድሪሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዕድውዎ ፡ ለዮርዳንስ ፡ ወካህናትሰ ፡ ጾሩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ወሖሩ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ሕዝብ ።
When the people moved from their tents to pass over the Jordan, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant being before the people,
百姓離開帳棚要過約旦河的時候，抬約櫃的祭司乃在百姓的前頭。
3:15
ወሶበ ፡ ቦኡ ፡ ካህናት ፡ እለ ፡ ይጸውሩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ወተጠምቃ ፡ እገሪሆሙ ፡ ለካህናት ፡ እለ ፡ ይጸውሩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጽንፉ ፡ ለማየ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ወምሉእ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ እስከ ፡ ድንጋጊሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ አመ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ክረምት ፡ ወከመ ፡ አመ ፡ ይሠዊ ፡ ስርናይ ፤
and when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark had dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest),
他們到了約旦河，腳一入水（原來約旦河水在收割的日子漲過兩岸），
3:16
ወቆመ ፡ ማይ ፡ ዘይወርድ ፡ እምነ ፡ ላዕሉ ፡ ወቆመ ፡ ከመ ፡ አረፍት ፡ እንዘ ፡ ያርሕቅ ፡ ቀዊመ ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ወጥቀ ፡ እስከ ፡ ደወለ ፡ ቀርያታያርም ፡ ወዝክቱሰ ፡ ዘይወርድ ፡ ወረደ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ዘአራባ ፡ ወባሕረ ፡ አሎን ፡ ወነጽፈ ፡ ወየብሰ ፡ ወቆመ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ አንጻረ ፡ ኢያሪከ ።
the waters which came down from above stood, and rose up in one heap a great way off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those that went down toward the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off. Then the people passed over near Jericho.
那從上往下流的水便在極遠之地、撒拉但旁的亞當城那裏停住，立起成壘；那往亞拉巴的海，就是鹽海，下流的水全然斷絕。於是百姓在耶利哥的對面過去了。
3:17
ወቆሙ ፡ ካህናት ፡ እለ ፡ ይጸውሩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ይቡስ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ርሱያኒሆሙ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ዐደው ፡ እንተ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ይቡስ ፡ እስከ ፡ ተገምረ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወዐደው ፡ ዮርዳንስ ።
The priests who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the nation had passed completely over the Jordan.
抬耶和華約櫃的祭司在約旦河中的乾地上站定，以色列眾人都從乾地上過去，直到國民盡都過了約旦河。
