13:1

ወተማከረ፡ ዳዊትምስለ፡ ርኡሳን፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወምስለ፡ ርኡሳን፡ ምእት፡ ወምስለ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ መሳፍንት።

大衛與千夫長、百夫長，就是一切首領商議。

David consulted with the captains of thousands and of hundreds, even with every leader.

13:2

ወይቤ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለኵሉ፡ ማኅበረ፡ እስራኤል፡ እመሰ፡ ሠናይ፡ ወርቱዕ፡ ወለእመ፡ ሠርኀ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ አምላክነ፡ ንልእክ፡ ኀበ፡ አኃዊነ፡ እለ፡ ተርፉ፡ በኵሉ፡ ምድረ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወኀበ፡ ካህናት፡ ወሌዋውያን፡ በኵሉ፡ አህጉር፡ ወበኵሉ፡ በሐውርቲሆሙ፡ ወያስተጋብኡ፡ ኀቤነ።

大衛對以色列全會眾說：「你們若以為美，見這事是出於耶和華－我們的上帝，我們就差遣人走遍以色列地，見我們未來的弟兄，又見住在有郊野之城的祭司利未人，使他們都到這裏來聚集。

David said to all the assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if it is of Yahweh our God, let’s send word everywhere to our brothers who are left in all the land of Israel, with whom the priests and Levites are in their cities that have pasture lands, that they may gather themselves to us.

13:3

ወናግብኣ፡ ለታቦተ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ አምላክነ፡ እስመ፡ ኢኃሠሥዋ፡ እምአመ፡ መዋዕሊሁ፡ ለሳኦል።

我們要把上帝的約櫃運到我們這裏來；因為在掃羅年間，我們沒有在約櫃前求問上帝。」

Also, let’s bring the ark of our God back to us again, for we didn’t seek it in the days of Saul.”

13:4

ወይቤሉ፡ ኵሉ፡ ማኅበረ፡ እስራኤል፡ ለይኩን፡ ከመዝ፡ እስመ፡ ርቱዕ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ቃል፡ በኀበ፡ አዕይንተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሕዝብ።

全會眾都說可以如此行；這事在眾民眼中都看為好。

All the assembly said that they would do so, for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

13:5

ወአሰተጋብአ፡ ዳዊት፡ ኵሎ፡ እምደወለ፡ ግብፅ፡ እስከ፡ ደወለ፡ ኤማት፡ ከመ፡ ያግብኣ፡ ለታቦተ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ እምቀርያታርም።

於是，大衛將以色列人從埃及的西曷河直到哈馬口都招聚了來，要從基列‧耶琳將上帝的約櫃運來。

So David assembled all Israel together, from the Shihor River of Egypt even to the entrance of Hamath, to bring God’s ark from Kiriath Jearim.

13:6

ወዓርገ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ ኀበ፡ ቀርያታርም፡ እንተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ከመ፡ ያዕርግዋ፡ እምህየ፡ ለታቦት፡ ዘእግዚአብሄር፡ አምላክ፡ ዘይነብር፡ ዲበ፡ ኪሩቤል፡ ኀበ፡ ተጸውዓ፡ ስመ፡ እግዚአብሄር።

大衛率領以色列眾人上到巴拉，就是屬猶大的基列‧耶琳，要從那裏將約櫃運來。這約櫃就是坐在二基路伯上耶和華上帝留名的約櫃。

David went up with all Israel to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there God Yahweh’s ark that sits above the cherubim, that is called by the Name.

13:7

ወአንበርዋ፡ ለታቦት፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ዲበ፡ ሠረገላ፡ ሐዲስ፡ ዘእምቤተ፡ አሚናዳብ፡ ወኦዛ፡ ወአኃዊሁ፡ ይመርሑ፡ ወአብጽሕዎ፡ ለሠረገላ።

他們將上帝的約櫃從亞比拿達的家裏抬出來，放在新車上。烏撒和亞希約趕車。

They carried God’s ark on a new cart, and brought it out of Abinadab’s house; and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart.

13:8

ወዳዊትኒ፡ ወኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ እንዘ፡ ይትዋነዩ፡ ወይትፌሥሑ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ በኵሉ፡ ኃይል፡ ወምስሌሁ፡ መዘምራን፡ ወእለኒ፡ በጸናጽል፡ ወእለኒ፡ በከበሮ፡ ወበእንዚራ፡ ወእለኒ፡ በብዕዛ፡ ወበአቅርንት፡ በጽሑ፡ ኀበ፡ ጽንፈ፡ ምክያድ።

大衛和以色列眾人在上帝前用琴、瑟、鑼、鼓、號作樂，極力跳舞歌唱。

David and all Israel played before God with all their might, even with songs, with harps, with stringed instruments, with tambourines, with cymbals, and with trumpets.

13:9

ወሰፍሐ፡ እዴሁ፡ ኦዛ፡ ከመ፡ የአኃዛ፡ ለታቦተ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ እስመ፡ አጽነነት፡ እንዘ፡ ይስሕብዋ፡ በሠረገላ፡ አልሕምት።

到了基頓的禾場；因為牛失前蹄，烏撒就伸手扶住約櫃。

When they came to Chidon’s threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled.
