14:1
ወፈነወ፡ ኪራም፡ ንጉሠ፡ ጢሮስ፡ ላእካነ፡ ኀበ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወዓዲ፡ ፈነወ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ዕፀወ፡ አርዝ፡ ወነደቅተ፡ አረፍት፡ ወፀረብተ፡ ዕፀው፡ ከመ፡ ይሕንፁ፡ ሎቱ፡ ቤተ።
泰爾王希蘭將香柏木運到大衛那裏，又差遣使者和石匠、木匠給大衛建造宮殿。
Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David with cedar trees, masons, and carpenters, to build him a house.
14:2
ወአእመረ፡ ወጠየቅ፡ ዳዊት፡ ከመ፡ አስተዳለወ፡ ሎቱ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ መንግስተ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወከመ፡ ተለዓለ፡ እስከ፡ አርያም፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ለዳዊት፡ በእንተ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ዚአሁ፡ እስራኤል።
大衛就知道耶和華堅立他作以色列王，又為自己的民以色列，使他的國興旺。
David perceived that Yahweh had established him king over Israel, for his kingdom was highly exalted, for his people Israel’s sake.
14:3
ወነሥአ፡ ዳዊት፡ ዓዲ፡ አንስተ፡ እምኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወተወልዱ፡ ሎቱ፡ ደቂቅ፡ ወአዋልድ።
大衛在耶路撒冷又立后妃，又生兒女。
David took more wives in Jerusalem, and David became the father of more sons and daughters.
14:4
ወከመዝ፡ ውእቱ፡ አስማቲሆሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ተወልዱ፡ ወኮኑ፡ ወተኈለቁ፡ ሎቱ፡ ለዳዊት፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ሰማቲ፡ ወሰባብ፡ ወናታን፡ ወሰሎሞን።
在耶路撒冷所生的眾子是沙母亞、朔罷、拿單、所羅門、
These are the names of the children whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,
14:5
ወኢያባኦር፡ ወኤልሳው፡ ወኤልሳፋጥ።
益轄、以利書亞、以法列、
Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet,
14:6
ወናጌት፡ ወናፌት፡ ወኢያፌኡ።
挪迦、尼斐、雅非亞、
Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
14:7
ወኤልሳማ፡ ወበለዓዳ፡ ወኤልፋጥ።
以利沙瑪、比利雅大、以利法列。

14:8
ወሰምዑ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ከመ፡ ተቀብዐ፡ ዳዊት፡ ይንግሥ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወዓርጉ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ኃቢሮሙ፡ ከመ፡ ይኅሥሥዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወሰሚዖ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወጽአ፡ ለቀበላ፡ ኢሎፍሊ።
非利士人聽見大衛受膏作以色列眾人的王，非利士眾人就上來尋索大衛。大衛聽見，就出去迎敵。
When the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went out against them.
14:9
ወኢሎፍሊ፡ ወፅኡ፡ ወተአየኑ፡ ውስተ፡ ፈለገ፡ ሶርትማት።
非利士人來了，布散在利乏音谷。
Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the valley of Rephaim.
14:10
ወተስእሎ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለእግዚአብሄር፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ እሑርኑ፡ ኀበ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ወታገብኦሙኑ፡ ውስተ፡ እዴየ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ተንሥእ፡ ወሑር፡ ኀቤሆሙ፡ ወአነ፡ አገብኦሙ፡ ውስተ፡ እዴከ።
大衛求問上帝，說：「我可以上去攻打非利士人嗎？你將他們交在我手裏嗎？」耶和華說：「你可以上去，我必將他們交在你手裏。」
David inquired of God, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” Yahweh said to him, “Go up; for I will deliver them into your hand.”
14:11
ወተንሥአ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወሖረ፡ ውስተ፡ ብሔር፡ ዘስሙ፡ ፓራሲን፡ ወቀተሎሙ፡ ዳዊት፡ በህየ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ።
非利士人來到巴力‧毗拉心，大衛在那裏殺敗他們。大衛說：「上帝藉我的手沖破敵人，如同水沖去一般」；因此稱那地方為巴力‧毗拉心。
So they came up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. David said, God has broken my enemies by my hand, like waters breaking out. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
14:12
ወይቤ፡ ዳዊት፡ አሜሃ፡ መተረ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ወአግብአ፡ ጸላእትየ፡ ውስተ፡ እደውየ፡ በከመ፡ ምትረተ፡ ማይ፡ ወበእንተዝ፡ ተሰምየ፡ ስሙ፡ ለውእቱ፡ ብሔር፡ ፓትረተ፡ ምራሲን።
非利士人將神像撇在那裏，大衛吩咐人用火焚燒了。
They left their gods there; and David gave a command, and they were burned with fire.
14:13
ወኃደጉ፡ በህየ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ አማልክቲሆሙ፡ ወይቤ፡ ዳዊት፡ አስተጋቢአክሙ፡ አውዕይዎሙ፡ በእሳት።
非利士人又布散在利乏音谷。
The Philistines made another raid in the valley.
14:14
ወዓዲ፡ ደገሙ፡ ኢሎፍሊ፡ ወኃደሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ፈለገ፡ ሶርትማት።
大衛又求問上帝。上帝說：「不要一直地上去，要轉到他們後頭，從桑林對面攻打他們。
David inquired again of God; and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them. Turn away from them, and come on them opposite the mulberry trees.
14:15
ወተስእሉ፡ ዓዲ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለእግዚአብሄር፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ዮምኒ፡ እሑርኑ፡ ኀቤሆሙ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ኢትሑር፡ ወኢትትልዎሙ፡ እምድኅሬሆሙ፡ አላ፡ ተመየጥ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ወኩን፡ ቅሩቦሙ።
你聽見桑樹梢上有腳步的聲音，就要出戰，因為上帝已經在你前頭去攻打非利士人的軍隊。」
When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then go out to battle; for God has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”
14:16
ወይከውን፡ አመ፡ ሰማዕከ፡ ድምፀ፡ ሀከኮሙ፡ እምፍጽም፡ መጽብዕቶሙ፡ አሜሃ፡ ትወጽእ፡ ለተቃትሎቶሙ፡ እስመ፡ ወጽአ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ቅድሜከ፡ ከመ፡ ይቅትል፡ ተዓይኒሆሙ፡ ለኢሎፍሊ።
大衛就遵着上帝所吩咐的，攻打非利士人的軍隊，從基遍直到基色。
David did as God commanded him; and they attacked the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gezer.
14:17
ወተሰምዐ፡ ዜናሁ፡ ለዳዊት፡ በኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ ወእግዚአብሄር፡ እንበረ፡ ግርማሁ፡ ዲበ፡ ኵሉ፡ አሕዛብ።
於是大衛的名傳揚到列國，耶和華使列國都懼怕他。
The fame of David went out into all lands; and Yahweh brought the fear of him on all nations.
