2:1
ወይቤ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ከመ፡ ይሕንፅ፡ ቤተ፡ ለስመ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ወይሕንጽ፡ ቤተ፡ ለመንግሥተ፡ ዚአሁ።
所羅門定意要為耶和華的名建造殿宇，又為自己的國建造宮室。
Now Solomon decided to build a house for Yahweh’s name, and a house for his kingdom.
2:2
ወአስተጋብአ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ሰብዐተ፡ እልፈ፡ እደወ፡ ፀረብተ፡ ወሰምንተ፡ እልፈ፡ ወቀርተ፡ እብን፡ በውስተ፡ ደብር፡ ወእለ፡ ይነድእዎሙ፡ ሠላሳ፡ ምእት፡ ወስድስቱ፡ ምእት።
所羅門就挑選七萬扛抬的，八萬在山上鑿石頭的，三千六百督工的。
Solomon counted out seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand men who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.
2:3
ወፈነወ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ኀበ፡ ኪራም፡ ናጉሠ፡ ጢሮስ፡ ወይቤ፡ በከመ፡ ገበርከ፡ ምስለ፡ ዳዊት፡ አቡየ፡ ወፈነውከ፡ ሎቱ፡ ዕፀወ፡ ዘግባት፡ ከመ፡ ይሕንዕ፡ ቤተ፡ ከመ፡ ይንበር፡ ውስቴቱ።
所羅門差人去見泰爾王希蘭，說：「你曾運香柏木與我父大衛建宮居住，求你也這樣待我。
Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, “As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build him a house in which to dwell, so deal with me.
2:4
ወነየ፡ አነ፡ ወልዱ፡ እቤ፡ እሕንፅ፡ ቤተ፡ ለስመ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ አምላኪየ፡ ወከመ፡ እቀድስ፡ ሎቱ፡ ወከመ፡ እዕጥን፡ ዕጣነ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡ ወምሥያመ፡ በኵሉ፡ ጊዜ፡ በበነግህ፡ ወበበሠርክ፡ ወበበሰናብት፡ ወበበሠርቀ፡ ወርኅ፡ ወበበዓላተ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ አምላክነ፡ እስከ፡ ለዓለም፡ ዝንቱ፡ ውእቱ፡ በውስተ፡ እስራኤል።
我要為耶和華－我上帝的名建造殿宇，分別為聖獻給他，在他面前焚燒美香，常擺陳設餅，每早晚、安息日、月朔，並耶和華－我們上帝所定的節期獻燔祭。這是以色列人永遠的定例。
Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, to dedicate it to him, to burn before him incense of sweet spices, for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Yahweh our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.
2:5
ወቤትኒ፡ ዘአነ፡ አሐንዕ፡ ዓቢይ፡ ውእቱ፡ እስመ፡ ዓቢይ፡ ውእቱ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ አምላክነ፡ እምኵሉ፡ አማልክት።
我所要建造的殿宇甚大；因為我們的上帝至大，超乎諸神。
“The house which I am building will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.
2:6
ወመኑ፡ ዘይክል፡ ሐኒፀ፡ ሎቱ፡ ቤተ፡ እስመ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወሰማይየ፡ ሰማያት፡ ኢይክሉ፡ ጸዊረ፡ ስብሐተ፡ ዚአሁ፡ ወመኑ፡ አነ፡ ከመ፡ እክል፡ ሐኒፀ፡ ሎቱ፡ ቤተ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ከመ፡ እዕጥን፡ ሎቱ፡ ዕጣነ፡ በቅድሜሁ።
天和天上的天，尚且不足他居住的，誰能為他建造殿宇呢？我是誰？能為他建造殿宇嗎？不過在他面前燒香而已。
But who is able to build him a house, since heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house, except just to burn incense before him?
2:7
ወይእዜኒ፡ ፈኑ፡ ሊተ፡ ብእሴ፡ ጠቢበ፡ ዘየአምር፡ ወዘይክል፡ ለቢጠ፡ በወርቅ፡ ወበብሩር፡ ወበብርት፡ ወበሐፂን፡ ወበኅብረ፡ ሜላት፡ ወበኅብረ፡ ለይ፡ ወበያክት፡ ወዘየአምር፡ ወይክል፡ ገሊፈ፡ ምስለ፡ ጠቢባን፡ እለ፡ ሀለዉ፡ ምስሌየ፡ ውስተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወኢየሩሳሌም፡ ዘቸስተዳለወ፡ ዳዊት፡ አቡየ።
現在求你差一個巧匠來，就是善用金、銀、銅、鐵，和紫色、朱紅色、藍色線，並精於雕刻之工的巧匠，與我父大衛在猶大和耶路撒冷所預備的巧匠一同做工；
“Now therefore send me a man skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, and in purple, crimson, and blue, and who knows how to engrave engravings, to be with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.
2:8
ወፈኑ፡ ሊተ፡ ዕፀ፡ ዘግባ፡ እምሊባኖስ፡ ወሕቊ፡ ወጳውቄና፡ እስመ፡ አነ፡ አአምር፡ ወእጤይቅ፡ ከመ፡ አግብርቲከ፡ የአምሩ፡ ገዚመ፡ ዕፀው፡ እምውስተ፡ ሊባኖስ።
又求你從黎巴嫩運些香柏木、松木、檀香木到我這裏來，因我知道你的僕人善於砍伐黎巴嫩的樹木。我的僕人也必與你的僕人同工。
“Send me also cedar trees, cypress trees, and algum trees out of Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut timber in Lebanon. Behold, my servants will be with your servants,
2:9
ወናሁ፡ አግብርቲከ፡ ምስለ፡ አግብርትየ፡ ከመ፡ ይሑሩ፡ ወያስተዳልዉ፡ ሊተ፡ ዕፀወ፡ ብዙኅ፡ እስመ፡ ቤተ፡ ዘአነ፡ አሐንፅ፡ ዓቢይ፡ ወክቡር።
這樣，可以給我預備許多的木料，因我要建造的殿宇高大出奇。
even to prepare timber in abundance for me; for the house which I am about to build will be great and wonderful.
2:10
ወናሁ፡ ወሀብኩከ፡ ለእለ፡ ይትቀነዩ፡ ወለእለ፡ ይገዝሙ፡ ዕፀወ፡ ሲሳዮሙ፡ ሥርናየ፡ በጸጋ፡ ለአግብርቲከ፡ ክልኤተ፡ እልፈ፡ በመስፈርተ፡ ቆሮስ፡ ወሰገመ፡ ክልኤተ፡ እልፈ፡ በመስፈርተ፡ ቆሮስ፡ ወወይነ፡ ክልኤተ፡ እልፈ፡ በመስፈርተ፡ ኔባል፡ ወዘይተኒ፡ ክልኤተ፡ እልፈ፡ በመስፈርተ፡ ባዶስ።
你的僕人砍伐樹木，我必給他們打好了的小麥二萬歌珥，大麥二萬歌珥，酒二萬罷特，油二萬罷特。」
Behold, I will give to your servants, the cutters who cut timber, twenty thousand cors of beaten wheat, twenty thousand baths of barley, twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.”
2:11
ወጸሐፈ፡ ኪራም፡ ንጉሠ፡ ጢሮስ፡ ወፈነወ፡ ኀበ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ አፍቂሮ፡ ወኃሪዮ፡ ኪያከ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ወሕዝበ፡ ዚአሁ፡ ሤመከ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ንጉሠ።
泰爾王希蘭寫信回答所羅門說：「耶和華因為愛他的子民，所以立你作他們的王」；
Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, “Because Yahweh loves his people, he has made you king over them.”
2:12
ወይቤ፡ ኪራም፡ ነጉሠ፡ ጢሮስ፡ ይትባረክ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ዘገብረ፡ ሰማየ፡ ወምድረ፡ ዘወሀቦ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወልደ፡ ጠቢበ፡ ወለባዌ፡ ወዘየአምር፡ ጥበበ፡ ወልቡና፡ ከመ፡ ይሕንፅ፡ ቤተ፡ ለስመ፡ እግዚአብሄር፡ ወቤተ፡ መንግሥተ፡ ዚአሁ።
又說：「創造天地的耶和華－以色列的上帝是應當稱頌的！他賜給大衛王一個有智慧的兒子，使他有謀略聰明，可以為耶和華建造殿宇，又為自己的國建造宮室。
Huram continued, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, endowed with discretion and understanding, who would build a house for Yahweh and a house for his kingdom.
2:13
ወይእዜኒ፡ ፈኖኩ፡ ለከ፡ ብእሴ፡ ጠቢበ፡ ዘየአምር፡ ጥበበ፡ ወልባዌ፡ ኪራምሃ፡ ቊልዔየ።
「現在我打發一個精巧有聰明的人去，他是我父親希蘭所用的，
Now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram-abi,
2:14
ወዘመዳ፡ ለእሙ፡ እምአዋልደ፡ ዳን፡ ወአቡሁኒ፡ ብእሲ፡ እምጢሮስ፡ ወየአምር፡ ተቀንዮ፡ ወለቢጠ፡ በወርቅ፡ ወበብሩር፡ ወበብርት፡ ወበሐፂን፡ ወበእብን፡ ወበፅፀው፡ ወይክል፡ አኒመ፡ ሜላት፡ በምክንት፡ ወአልባስ፡ ክቡር፡ ወአልባሰ፡ ለይወይክል፡ ገሊፈ፡ አምሳል፡ ወይሔሊ፡ ወይሌቡ፡ ኵሎ፡ ግብረ፡ ዘአንተ፡ መጠውኮ፡ ለተቀንዮ፡ ምስለ፡ ጠቢባኒከ፡ ወጠበብተ፡ ዳዊት፡ እግዚእየ፡ አቡከ።
是但支派一個婦人的兒子。他父親是泰爾人，他善用金、銀、銅、鐵、石、木，和紫色、藍色、朱紅色線與細麻製造各物，並精於雕刻，又能想出各樣的巧工。請你派定這人，與你的巧匠和你父－我主大衛的巧匠一同做工。
the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan; and his father was a man of Tyre. He is skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, in timber, in purple, in blue, in fine linen, and in crimson, also to engrave any kind of engraving and to devise any device, that there may be a place appointed to him with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.
2:15
ወይእዜኒ፡ ሥርናየ፡ ወሰገመ፡ ወዘይተ፡ ወወይነ፡ ዘይቤ፡ እግዚእየ፡ ከመ፡ ይፈኑ፡ ለአግብርቲሁ፡ መጠኑ።
我主所說的小麥、大麥、酒、油，願我主運來給眾僕人。
“Now therefore, the wheat, the barley, the oil, and the wine which my lord has spoken of, let him send to his servants;
2:16
ወንሕነሂ፡ ንገዝም፡ ዕፀወ፡ እምሊባኖስ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ከመ፡ ዘያፈትዉከ፡ ወናመጽኦሙ፡ ወንገብሮሙ፡ አርማሰ፡ እንተ፡ ባሕር፡ እስከ፡ ብሔረ፡ ኢዮጴ፡ ወአንተ፡ ትትሜጠዎሙ፡ እምህየ፡ ወታበጽሖሙ፡ ኀበ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።
我們必照你所需用的，從黎巴嫩砍伐樹木，紮成筏子，浮海運到約帕；你可以從那裏運到耶路撒冷。」
and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you need. We will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; then you shall carry it up to Jerusalem.”
2:17
ወአስተጋብአ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ንጉሥ፡ ኵሎ፡ እደወ፡ ፈላስያነ፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድረ፡ እስራኤል፡ እለ፡ ኢተሐሰቡ፡ ወኢተኈለቁ፡ ምስለ፡ ዘኈለቈ፡ ዳዊት፡ አቡሁ፡ ወተረክበ፡ መክብቦሙ፡ ዓሠርቱ፡ እልፍ፡ ወኃምስቱ፡ እልፍ፡ ወሠላሳ፡ ምእት፡ ወስድስቱ፡ ምእት።
所羅門仿照他父大衛數點住在以色列地所有寄居的外邦人，共有十五萬三千六百名；
Solomon counted all the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, after the census with which David his father had counted them; and they found one hundred fifty-three thousand six hundred.
2:18
ወረሰየ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ሰብዐተ፡ እልፈ፡ ፀወርተ፡ ወሰመንተ፡ እልፈ፡ ወቀርተ፡ እብን፡ ወሠላሳ፡ ምእተ፡ ወስድስተ፡ ምእተ፡ እለ፡ ይነድእዎሙ፡ ወይቀንይዎሙ፡ ለሕዝብ።
使七萬人扛抬材料，八萬人在山上鑿石頭，三千六百人督理工作。
He set seventy thousand of them to bear burdens, eighty thousand who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred overseers to assign the people their work.
