11:1
ወቦአ፡ ሮብዓም፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወአስተጋብአ፡ ኵሎ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወሕዝበ፡ ብንያም፡ ወኮነ፡ መክብቦሙ፡ ለዓሠርቱ፡ ወሰመንቱ፡ እልፍ፡ ወራዙት፡ ጽኑዓን፡ ወመስተቃትላን፡ ወተቃተሎሙ፡ ለሕዝበ፡ እስራኤል፡ ከመ፡ ይግብእ፡ ወያግርር፡ ወይክብብ፡ መንግሥቶ፡ ለሮብዓም።
羅波安來到耶路撒冷，招聚猶大家和便雅憫家，共十八萬人，都是挑選的戰士，要與以色列人爭戰，好將國奪回再歸自己。
When Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, one hundred eighty thousand chosen men who were warriors, to fight against Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
11:2
ወኮነ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀበ፡ ሳምያ፡ ብእሴ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል።
但耶和華的話臨到神人示瑪雅說：
But Yahweh’s word came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
11:3
በሎ፡ ለሮብዓም፡ ወልደ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ወበሎሙ፡ ለኵሎሙ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወብንያም፡ እንዘ፡ ትብል፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
「你去告訴所羅門的兒子猶大王羅波安和住猶大、便雅憫的以色列眾人說，
“Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
11:4
ኢትዕርጉ፡ ወኢትሑሩ፡ ወኢትትቃተልዎሙ፡ ለአኃዊክሙ፡ ግብኡ፡ ወተመየጡ፡ አሐዱ፡ አሐዱ፡ ውስተ፡ ማኅደሪክሙ፡ እስመ፡ እምኀቤየ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ነገር።
耶和華如此說：『你們不可上去與你們的弟兄爭戰，各歸各家去吧！因為這事出於我。』」眾人就聽從耶和華的話歸回，不去與耶羅波安爭戰。
‘Yahweh says, “You shall not go up, nor fight against your brothers! Every man return to his house; for this thing is of me.”’” So they listened to Yahweh’s words, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
11:5
ወሰምዑ፡ ቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወተመይጡ፡ ወገብኡ፡ ወኢሖሩ፡ ኀበ፡ ኢዮርብዓም።
羅波安住在耶路撒冷，在猶大地修築城邑，
Rehoboam lived in Jerusalem, and built cities for defense in Judah.
11:6
ወሮብዓምኒ፡ ወልደ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ንጉሥ፡ ነበረ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወሐወፀ፡ አህጉረ፡ ጽኑዓተ፡ በብሔረ፡ ይሁዳ።
為保障修築伯利恆、以坦、提哥亞、
He built Bethlehem, Etam, Tekoa,
11:7
ወሐነፃ፡ ለቤተ፡ ልሔም፡ ወለኤጣም፡ ሀገር፡ ወለቴቁኤ።
伯‧夙、梭哥、亞杜蘭、
Beth Zur, Soco, Adullam,
11:8
ወለቤተ፡ ሱራ፡ ወለሱለኮን፡ ወለአዶላም።
迦特、瑪利沙、西弗、
Gath, Mareshah, Ziph,
11:9
ወለጌት፡ ወለመሪሳን፡ ወለዚፍ፡ ሀገር።
亞多萊音、拉吉、亞西加、
Adoraim, Lachish, Azekah,
11:10
ወለአዶራኢም፡ ወለለኪስ፡ ወለአዜቃ፡ ሀገር።
瑣拉、亞雅崙、希伯崙。這都是猶大和便雅憫的堅固城。
Zorah, Aijalon, and Hebron, which are fortified cities in Judah and in Benjamin.
11:11
ወለሰራአ፡ ወለኤሎን፡ ወለኬብሮን፡ እንተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወብንያም፡ አህጉር፡ ጽኑዓት።
羅波安又堅固各處的保障，在其中安置軍長，又預備下糧食、油、酒。
He fortified the strongholds and put captains in them with stores of food, oil and wine.
11:12
ወአልበጠ፡ ኵሎ፡ አረፋቲሆን፡ ወሤመ፡ መሳፍንተ፡ ወአንበረ፡ ውስቴቶሙ፡ መዛግብተ፡ እክል፡ ወወይን፡ ወዘይት፡ በበሀገር።
他在各城裏預備盾牌和槍，且使城極其堅固。猶大和便雅憫都歸了他。
He put shields and spears in every city, and made them exceedingly strong. Judah and Benjamin belonged to him.
11:13
ወአንበረ፡ ህየ፡ ኲናታተ፡ ወአርማሐ፡ ወአስተጻንዖሙ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ወኮንዎ፡ ሎቱ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወሕዝበ፡ ብንያም።
以色列全地的祭司和利未人都從四方來歸羅波安。
The priests and the Levites who were in all Israel stood with him out of all their territory.
11:14
ወካህናትኒ፡ ወሌዋውያን፡ እለ፡ በኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ ተጋብኡ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ እምኵሉ፡ በሐውርት።
利未人撇下他們的郊野和產業，來到猶大與耶路撒冷，是因耶羅波安和他的兒子拒絕他們，不許他們供祭司職分事奉耶和華。
For the Levites left their pasture lands and their possessions, and came to Judah and Jerusalem; for Jeroboam and his sons cast them off, that they should not execute the priest’s office to Yahweh.
11:15
እስመ፡ ኃደጉ፡ ሌዋውያን፡ ምዕራፈ፡ ማኅደሪሆሙ፡ ወሖረ፡ ኀበ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ይሁዳ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ እስመ፡ ሰደዶሙ፡ ኢዮርብዓም፡ ወደቂቁ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይትቀነዩ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር።
耶羅波安為邱壇、為鬼魔 、為自己所鑄造的牛犢設立祭司。
He himself appointed priests for the high places, for the male goat and calf idols which he had made.
11:16
ወሤመ፡ ሎቱ፡ ካህናተ፡ አውግር፡ ወለአምሳል፡ ወለዘከንቱ፡ ወለአምሳለ፡ ላሕም፡ ዘገብረ፡ ኢዮርብዓም።
以色列各支派中，凡立定心意尋求耶和華－以色列上帝的，都隨從利未人，來到耶路撒冷祭祀耶和華－他們列祖的上帝。
After them, out of all the tribes of Israel, those who set their hearts to seek Yahweh, the God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
11:17
ወአውጽኦሙ፡ እምነገደ፡ ኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ እለ፡ ሐለዩ፡ በልቦሙ፡ ከመ፡ ይኅሥሥዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወቦኡ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ከመ፡ ይሡዑ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ አበዊሆሙ።
這樣，就堅固猶大國，使所羅門的兒子羅波安強盛三年，因為他們三年遵行大衛和所羅門的道。
So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong for three years, for they walked three years in the way of David and Solomon.
11:18
ወአፅንዑ፡ መንግሥተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወአፅንዕዎ፡ ለሮብዓም፡ ወልደ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ እስከ፡ ሠለስቱ፡ ዓመት፡ እስመ፡ ሖረ፡ በፍናወ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወሰሎሞን፡ አቡሁ፡ ሠለስተ፡ ዓመተ።
羅波安娶大衛兒子耶利摩的女兒瑪哈拉為妻，又娶耶西兒子以利押的女兒亞比孩為妻。
Rehoboam took a wife for himself, Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David and of Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse.
11:19
ወነሥአ፡ ሎቱ፡ ሮብዓም፡ ንጉሥ፡ ብእሲተ፡ እንተ፡ ስማ፡ ሞላት፡ ወለተ፡ ኢያሬሙት፡ ወልዱ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወአብያኤል፡ ወለተ፡ ኤልያብ፡ ወልደ፡ ዕሤይ።
從她生了幾個兒子，就是耶烏施、示瑪利雅、撒罕。
She bore him sons: Jeush, Shemariah, and Zaham.
11:20
ወወለደት፡ ሎቱ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ሰማርያን፡ ወይዙሳ፡ ወለዛላም።
後來又娶押沙龍的女兒瑪迦 ，從她生了亞比雅、亞太、細撒、示羅密。
After her, he took Maacah the granddaughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza, and Shelomith.
11:21
ወእምድኅረ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ነሥአ፡ ሎቱ፡ ብእሲተ፡ እንተ፡ ስማ፡ መአካ፡ ወለተ፡ አቤሴሎም፡ ወወለደት፡ ሎቱ፡ አብያሃ፡ ወኢያቲሃ፡ ወዚዛሃ፡ ወሰሎሚትሃ።
羅波安娶十八個妻，立六十個妾，生二十八個兒子，六十個女兒；他卻愛押沙龍的女兒瑪迦，比愛別的妻妾更甚。
Rehoboam loved Maacah the granddaughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines; for he took eighteen wives and sixty concubines, and became the father of twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.
11:22
ወአፍቀራ፡ ሮብዓም፡ ለመአካ፡ ወለተ፡ አቤሴሎም፡ እምኵሎን፡ አንስትያሁ፡ ወእምኵሎን፡ ዕቁባቲሁ፡ እስመ፡ ዓሥሩ፡ ወሰማኒ፡ አንስተ፡ ነሥአ፡ ወዕቁባቲሁ፡ ስሳ፡ ወወለደ፡ ውሉደ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ወሰመንተ፡ አትቡዐ፡ ወአዋልደ፡ ስሳ።
羅波安立瑪迦的兒子亞比雅作太子，在他弟兄中為首，因為想要立他接續作王。
Rehoboam appointed Abijah the son of Maacah to be chief, the prince among his brothers, for he intended to make him king.
11:23
ወሤሞ፡ ሮብዓም፡ ንጉሥ፡ መልአከ፡ ለአብያ፡ ወልደ፡ መአካ፡ ወሰፈነ፡ ላዕለ፡ አኃዊሁ፡ እስመ፡ ያፈቅሮ፡ እስመ፡ ሐለየ፡ ከመ፡ ያንግሦ።
羅波安辦事精明，使他眾子分散在猶大和便雅憫全地各堅固城裏，又賜他們許多糧食，為他們多尋妻子。
He dealt wisely, and dispersed some of his sons throughout all the lands of Judah and Benjamin, to every fortified city. He gave them food in abundance; and he sought many wives for them.
11:24
ወአብየ፡ ወዓብየ፡ እምኵሉ፡ ደቂቁ፡ ወሐነፀ፡ በኵሉ፡ በሐውርተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወብንያም፡ አህጉረ፡ ጽኑዓተ፡ ወአንበረ፡ ውስቴቶሙ፡ እክለ፡ ብዙኀ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ወነሥአ፡ ብዙኃተ፡ አንስተ።
羅波安辦事精明，使他眾子分散在猶大和便雅憫全地各堅固城裏，又賜他們許多糧食，為他們多尋妻子。
