25:1
አሜሃ ትመስል መንግሥተ ሰማያት ዐሥሮን ደናግለ እለ ነሥኣ መኃትዊሆን ወወፅኣ ለቀበላ መርዓዊ።
「那時，天國好比十個童女拿着燈出去迎接新郎。
“Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
25:2
ወኀምስ እምውስቴቶን አብዳት እማንቱ ወኀምስ ጠባባት።
其中有五個是愚拙的，五個是聰明的。
Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
25:3
ወአብዳትሰ ነሢኦን መኃትዊሆን ኢነሥኣ ቅብዐ ምስሌሆን።
愚拙的拿着燈，卻不預備油；
Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,
25:4
ወጠባባትሰ ነሥኣ ቅብዐ በገማዕዊሆን ምስለ መኃትዊሆን።
聰明的拿着燈，又預備油在器皿裏。
but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
25:5
ወጐንድዮ መርዓዊ ደቀሳ ኵሎን ወኖማ።
新郎遲延的時候，她們都打盹，睡着了。
Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
25:6
ወከዊኖ መንፈቀ ሌሊት ውውዓ ኮነ ናሁ መርዓዊ መጽአ ፃኡ ውስተ ቀበላሁ።
半夜有人喊着說：『新郎來了，你們出來迎接他！』
But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’
25:7
ወእምዝ ነቅሓ እልኩ ደናግል ኵሎን ወአሠነያ መኃትዊሆን ወወፅጽኣ ለቀበላ መርዓዊ።
那些童女就都起來收拾燈。
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
25:8
ወእልኩ አብዳት ይቤላሆን ለጠበባት ሀባነ ቅብዐ እምቅብዕክን እስመ መኃትዊነ ጠፍኣነ።
愚拙的對聰明的說：『請分點油給我們， 因為我們的燈要滅了。』
The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
25:9
ወአውሥኣሆን ጠበባት ወይቤላሆን አልቦ ዘየአክል ለነ ወለክን አላ ሑራ ኀቤሆሙ ለእለ ይሠይጡ ወተሣየጣ ለክን።
聰明的回答說：『恐怕不夠你我用的；不如你們自己到賣油的那裏去買吧。』
But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
25:10
ወሐዊሮን ይሣየጣ በጽሐ መርዓዊ ወቦአ ምስሌሁ እልኩ እለ ድልዋት ውስተ ከብካብ ወተዐጽወ ኆኅት።
她們去買的時候，新郎到了。那預備好了的，同他進去坐席，門就關了。
While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.
25:11
ወድኅረ መጽኣ እልክቱሂ ደናግል ወይቤላ እግዚኦ እግዚኦ አርኅወነ።
其餘的童女隨後也來了，說：『主啊，主啊，給我們開門！』
Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’
25:12
ወአውሥኦን፥ ወይቤሎን አማን እብለክን ከመ ኢየአምረክን እስመ ስእንክን ተጊሀ ወአምስዮ አሐተ ሰዓተ ምስሌየ።
他卻回答說：『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』
But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
25:13
ትጉሁኬ እስመ ኢተአምሩ ዕለታ ወሰዓታ እንተ ባቲ ይመጽእ ወልደ ዕጓለ እመሕያው።
所以，你們要警醒；因為那日子，那時辰，你們不知道。」
Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
25:14
እስመ ከመ ብእሲ ዘይነግድ ወጸውዐ አግብርቲሁ ወወሀቦሙ ንዋዮ ይትገበሩ ቦቱ።
「天國又好比一個人要往外國去，就叫了僕人來，把他的家業交給他們，
“For it is like a man going into another country, who called his own servants and entrusted his goods to them.
25:15
ቦ ለዘወሀቦ ኀምስተ መክሊተ ወቦ ለዘወሀቦ ክልኤተ መክሊተ ወቦ ለዘወሀቦ አሐደ መክሊተ ወለለአሐዱ እምኔሆሙ በአምጣነ ይክሉ ወሀቦሙ ወነገደ በጊዜሃ።
按着各人的才幹給他們銀子：一個給了五千，一個給了二千，一個給了一千，就往外國去了。
To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey.
25:16
ወሖረ ዝኩ ዘኀምሰ መካልየ ነሥአ ወተገበረ ቦቶን ወረብኀ ካልኣተ ኀምሰ መካልየ።
那領五千的隨即拿去做買賣，另外賺了五千。
Immediately he who received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
25:17
ወከማሁ ዘሂ ክልኤተ መካልየ ነሥአ ረብኀ ካልኣተ ክልኤተ መካልየ።
那領二千的也照樣另賺了二千。
In the same way, he also who got the two gained another two.
25:18
ወዘአሐተሰ መክሊተ ነሥአ ኀለፈ ወከረየ ምድረ ወኀብአ ወርቀ እግዚኡ።
但那領一千的去掘開地，把主人的銀子埋藏了。
But he who received the one talent went away and dug in the earth and hid his lord’s money.
25:19
ወእምድኅረ ብዙኅ መዋዕል አተወ እግዚኦሙ ለእሉ አግብርት ወአኀዘ ይትሐሰቦሙ፤
過了許久，那些僕人的主人來了，和他們算帳。
“Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.
25:20
ወቀርበ ዘኀምሰ መካልየ ነሥአ ወአምጽአ ካልኣተ ኀምሰ መካልየ እንዘ ይብል አኮኑ እግዚኦ ኀምሰ መካልየ ወሀብከኒ ወናሁ ኀምስ መካልይ እለ ረባኅኩ ዲቤሆን።
那領五千銀子的又帶着那另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千銀子。請看，我又賺了五千。』
He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’
25:21
ወይቤሎ እግዚኡ ኦ ገብር ኄር ወምእመን ዘበውኁድ ምእመነ ኮንከ ዲበ ብዙኅ እሠይመከ ባእ ውስተ ፍሥሓሁ ለእግዚእከ።
主人說：『好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人，你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理；可以進來享受你主人的快樂。』
“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
25:22
ወመጽአ ዘክልኤተ መክሊተ ነሥአ ወይቤ እግዚኦ አኮኑ ክልኤተ መካልየ ወሀብከኒ ናሁ ክልኤተ ካልኣተ መካልየ እለ ረባኅኩ ዲቤሆን።
那領二千的也來，說：『主啊，你交給我二千銀子。請看，我又賺了二千。』
“He also who got the two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents in addition to them.’
25:23
ወይቤሎ እግዚኡ ኦ ገብር ኄር ወምእመን ዘበውኁድ ምእመነ ኮንከ ዲበ ብዙኅ እሠይመከ ባእ ውስተ ፍሥሓሁ ለእግዚእከ።
主人說：『好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人，你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理；可以進來享受你主人的快樂。』
“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things. I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
25:24
ወመጽአ ዘአሐተኒ መክሊተ ነሥአ ወይቤ እግዚኦ አአምረከ ከመ ድሩክ ብእሲ አንተ ተአርር እምኀበ ኢዘራዕከ ወታስተጋብእ እምኀበ ኢዘረውከ።
那領一千的也來，說：『主啊，我知道你是忍心的人，沒有種的地方要收割，沒有散的地方要聚斂，
“He also who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.
25:25
ወፈሪህየ ሖርኩ ወኀባእኩ መክሊተከ ውስተ ምድር ናሁ እንከ መክሊትከ።
我就害怕，去把你的一千銀子埋藏在地裏。請看，你的原銀子在這裏。』
I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’
25:26
ወአውሥኦ እግዚኡ ወይቤሎ ኦ ገብር ሀካይ ወእኩይ ተአምረኒኑ ከመ ድሩክ ብእሲ አነ ወአአርር እምኀበ ኢዘራዕኩ ወአስተጋብእ እምኀበ ኢዘረውኩ።
主人回答說：『你這又惡又懶的僕人，你既知道我沒有種的地方要收割，沒有散的地方要聚斂，
“But his lord answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.
25:27
እምደለወከ ታግብእ ወርቅየ ውስተ ማእድየ ወመጺእየ እምአስተገበርክዎ ለልየ በርዴ።
就當把我的銀子放給兌換銀錢的人，到我來的時候，可以連本帶利收回。
You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.
25:28
ወይቤሎሙ ለእለ ይቀውሙ ህየ ንሥኡ እምኀቤሁ ዘንተ መክሊተ ወሀብዎ ለዘቦቱ ዐሠርቱ መክሊት።
奪過他這一千來，給那有一萬的。
Take away therefore the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents.
25:29
እስመ ለዘቦ ይሁብዎ ወይዌስክዎ ወለዘሰ አልቦ እለሂ ቦ የሀይድዎ።
因為凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。
For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.
25:30
ወለገብርሰ እኩይ ወሀካይ አውፅእዎ አፍኣ ወደይዎ ውስተ ጸናፌ ጽልመት ኀበ ሀሎ ብካይ ወሐቅየ ስነን።
把這無用的僕人丟在外面黑暗裏；在那裏必要哀哭切齒了。』」
Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
25:31
ወአመ ይመጽእ ወልደ ዕጓለ እመሕያው በስብሐቲሁ ወኵሎሙ መላእክቲሁ ቅዱሳን ምስሌሁ አሜሃ ይነብር ዲበ መንበረ ስብሐቲሁ።
「當人子在他榮耀裏、同着眾天使降臨的時候，要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.
25:32
ወይትጋብኡ ኵሎሙ አሕዛብ ቅድሜሁ ወይፈልጦሙ ዘዘዚኣሆሙ ከመ እንተ ይፈልጥ ኖላዊ አባግዐ እምአጣሊ።
萬民都要聚集在他面前。他要把他們分別出來，好像牧羊的分別綿羊山羊一般，
Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
25:33
ወያቀውም አባግዐ በየማኑ ወአጣሌ በፀጋሙ።
把綿羊安置在右邊，山羊在左邊。
He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
25:34
አሜሃ ይብሎሙ ንጉሥ ለእለ በየማኑ ንዑ ኀቤየ ቡሩካኑ ለአቡየ ትረሱ መንግሥተ ሰማያት ዘድልው ለክሙ እምቅድመ ይትፈጠር ዓለም።
於是王要向那右邊的說：『你們這蒙我父賜福的，可來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國；
Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
25:35
እስመ ርኅብኩ ወአብላዕክሙኒ ጸማእኩ ወአስተይክሙኒ ነግደ ኮንኩ ወተወከፍክሙኒ።
因為我餓了，你們給我吃，渴了，你們給我喝；我作客旅，你們留我住；
for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.
25:36
ዐረቁ ወአልበስክሙኒ ደወይኩ ወሐውጽክሙኒ ተሞቃሕኩ ወመጻእክሙ ኀቤየ ወነበብክሙኒ።
我赤身露體，你們給我穿；我病了，你們看顧我；我在監裏，你們來看我。』
I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.’
25:37
አሜሃ ያወሥኡ ጻድቃን ወይብሉ እግዚኦ ማእዜኑ ርኢናከ ርኁበከ ወአብላዕናከ ወጽሙአከ ወአስተይናከ።
義人就回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，給你吃，渴了，給你喝？
“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink?
25:38
ወማእዜ ርኢናከ እንግዳከ ወተወከፍናከ ወዕሩቀከ ወአልበስናከ።
甚麼時候見你作客旅，留你住，或是赤身露體，給你穿？
When did we see you as a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you?
25:39
ወማዕዜ ርኢናከ ድዉየከኒ ወሐውጽናከ ወሙቁሐከኒ ወመጻእነ ኀቤከ ወነበብናከ።
又甚麼時候見你病了，或是在監裏，來看你呢？』
When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’
25:40
ወእምዝ ያወሥኦሙ ንጉሥ ለእለ በየማኑ ወይብሎሙ አማን እብለክሙ ኵሎ ዘገበርክሙ ለአሐዱ እምእሉ ንኡሳን አኀውየ እለ የአምኑ ብየ፥ ሊተ ገበርክሙ።
王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是做在我身上了。』
“The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
25:41
ወእምዝ ይብሎሙ ለእለ በፀጋሙ ሑሩ እምኔየ ርጉማን ውስተ እሳት ዘለዓለም ዘድልው ለሰይጣን፥ ወለመላእክቲሁ።
王又要向那左邊的說：『你們這被咒詛的人，離開我！進入那為魔鬼和他的使者所預備的永火裏去！
Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;
25:42
እስመ ርኅብኩ ወኢያብላዕክሙኒ ጸማእኩ ወኢያስተይክሙኒ።
因為我餓了，你們不給我吃，渴了，你們不給我喝；
for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;
25:43
ነግደ ኮንኩ ወኢተወከፍክሙኒ ዐረቁ ወኢያልበስክሙኒ ደወይኩ ወኢሐወጽክሙኒ ተሞቃሕኩ ወኢመጻእክሙ ኀቤየ ወኢነበብክሙኒ።
我作客旅，你們不留我住；我赤身露體，你們不給我穿；我病了，我在監裏，你們不來看顧我。』
I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
25:44
አሜሃ ያወሥኡ እለ በፀጋሙ ወይብሉ እግዚኦ ማእዜኑ ርኢናከ ርኁበከ ወኢያብላዕናከ ወማእዜ ርኢናከ ጽሙአከ ወኢያስተይናከ ወእንግዳከ ወኢተወከፍናከ ወዕሩቀከ ወኢያልበስናከ ወድዉየከኒ ወኢሐወጽናከ ወሙቁሐከኒ ወኢነበብናከ።
他們也要回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，或渴了，或作客旅，或赤身露體，或病了，或在監裏，不伺候你呢？』
“Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’
25:45
ወእምዝ ያወሥኦሙ ንጉሥ እንዘ ይብል አማን እብለክሙ ዘኢገበርክሙ ለአሐዱ እምእሉ ንኡሳን አኀውየ ሊተ ኢገበርክሙ።
王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既不做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是不做在我身上了。』
“Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’
25:46
ወየሐውሩ እሉሂ ውስተ ኵነኔ ዘለዓለም ወጻድቃንሰ ውስተ ሕይወት ዘለዓለም።
這些人要往永刑裏去；那些義人要往永生裏去。」
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
