11:1
ወሰምዑ ሐዋርያት ወቢጾሙሂ እለ ብሔረ ይሁዳ ከመ ተወክፉ አሕዛብ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ።
Now the apostles and the brothers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
使徒和在猶太的眾弟兄聽說外邦人也領受了上帝的道。
11:2
ወአመ ዐርገ ጴጥሮስ ኢየሩሳሌም ተዋቀሥዎ ቢጹ እለ እምአይሁድ ።
When Peter had come up to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision contended with him,
及至彼得上了耶路撒冷，那些奉割禮的門徒和他爭辯說：
11:3
ወይቤልዎ ቦእከ ኀበ ዕደው እለ ኢኮኑ ግዙራነ ወበላዕከ ምስሌሆሙ ።
saying, “You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them!”
「你進入未受割禮之人的家和他們一同吃飯了。」
11:4
ወአኀዘ ጴጥሮስ ይንግሮሙ እምጥንቱ ወይቤሎሙ ።
But Peter began, and explained to them in order, saying,
彼得就開口把這事挨次給他們講解說：
11:5
እንዘ ሀለውኩ ሀገረ ኢዮጴ እንዘ እጼሊ ደንገጽኩ ወርኢኩ ከመ ዘሞጣሕት ዐቢይ ዘይወርድ እምሰማይ ወእኁዝ በአርባዕቱ ጽነፊሁ ወመጽአ መንገሌየ ።
“I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision: a certain container descending, like it was a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners. It came as far as me.
「我在約帕城裏禱告的時候，魂遊象外，看見異象，有一物降下，好像一塊大布，繫着四角，從天縋下，直來到我跟前。
11:6
ወነጸርኩ ወርኢኩ በውስቴቱ እንስሳ ወአርዌ ገዳም ወኵሎ ዘይትሐወስ ወአዕዋፈ ሰማይ ።
When I had looked intently at it, I considered, and saw the four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky.
我定睛觀看，見內中有地上四足的牲畜和野獸、昆蟲，並天上的飛鳥。
11:7
ወሰማዕኩ ቃለ ዘይቤለኒ ተንሥእ ጴጥሮስ ኅርድ ወብላዕ ።
I also heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter, kill and eat!’
我且聽見有聲音向我說：『彼得，起來，宰了吃！』
11:8
ወእቤ ሐሰ እግዚኦ ግሙራ ኢቦአ ርኵስ ውስተ አፉየ ዘኢኮነ ንጹሐ ።
But I said, ‘Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.’
我說：『主啊，這是不可的！凡俗而不潔淨的物從來沒有入過我的口。』
11:9
ወይቤለኒ ዳግመ ቃል እምሰማይ ዘእግዚአብሔር አንጽሐ አንተ ኢታስተራኵስ ።
But a voice answered me the second time out of heaven, ‘What God has cleansed, don’t you call unclean.’
第二次，有聲音從天上說：『上帝所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。』
11:10
ወከመዝ ይቤለኒ ሥልሰ ወተሰውጠ ካዕበ ኵሉ ውስተ ሰማይ ።
This was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven.
這樣一連三次，就都收回天上去了。
11:11
ወበይእቲ ሰዓት በጽሑ ዕደው ሠለስቱ እለ ተፈነዉ ኀቤየ እምቂሳርያ ወቆሙ ኀበ ኆኅተ ዐጸድ ኀበ ሀለውኩ አነ ።
Behold, immediately three men stood before the house where I was, having been sent from Caesarea to me.
正當那時，有三個人站在我們所住的房門前，是從凱撒利亞差來見我的。
11:12
ወይቤለኒ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ሑር ምስሌሆሙ እንዘ ኢትናፍቅ ወመጽኡ ምስሌየ እሉሂ ስድስቱ አኀዊነ ወቦእነ ቤቶ ለውእቱ ብእሲ ።
The Spirit told me to go with them without discriminating. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house.
聖靈吩咐我和他們同去，不要疑惑 。同着我去的，還有這六位弟兄，我們都進了那人的家。
11:13
ወነገረነ ዘከመ ርእየ መልአከ እግዚአብሔር በቤቱ እንዘ ይቀውም ወዘይቤሎ ፈኑ ዕደወ ሀገረ ኢዮጴ ይጸውዕዎ ለከ ለስምዖን ዘተሰምየ ጴጥሮስ ።
He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying to him, ‘Send to Joppa and get Simon, who is called Peter,
那人就告訴我們，他如何看見一位天使站在他屋裏，說：『你打發人往約帕去，請那稱呼彼得的西門來，
11:14
ወውእቱ ይነግረከ ነገረ በዘተሐዩ አንተ ወኵሉ ቤትከ ።
who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.’
他有話告訴你，可以叫你和你的全家得救。』
11:15
ወሶበ አኀዝኩ እንግሮሙ ወረደ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ዲቤሆሙ ዘከመ ወረደ ቀዲሙ ዲቤነ ።
As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.
我一開講，聖靈便降在他們身上，正像當初降在我們身上一樣。
11:16
ወተዘከርኩ ቃሎ ለእግዚእነ ዘይቤ ዮሐንስ አጥመቀ በማይ ወአንትሙሰ ታጠምቁ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ።
I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit.’
我就想起主的話說：『約翰是用水施洗，但你們要受聖靈的洗。』
11:17
ወሶበ እንከ ዕሩየ ወሀቦሙ እግዚአብሔር ጸጋሁ ከማነ እስመ አምኑ በእግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ መኑ እንከ አነ ዘእክል ከሊኦቶ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
If then God gave to them the same gift as us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God?”
上帝既然給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣；我是誰，能攔阻上帝呢？」
11:18
ወዘንተ ሰሚዖሙ አርመሙ ወአእኰትዎ ለእግዚአብሔር ወይቤሉ እንዳዒ ለእመ ወሀቦሙ እግዚአብሔር ለአሕዛብ ከመ ይነስሑ ለሕይወት ።
When they heard these things, they held their peace and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!”
眾人聽見這話，就不言語了，只歸榮耀與上帝，說：「這樣看來，上帝也賜恩給外邦人，叫他們悔改得生命了。」
11:19
ወእለሰ ተዘርዉ በእንተ ቅትለተ እስጢፋኖስ ሖሩ ወበጽሑ ቆጵሮስ ወፍንቂስ ወአንጾኪያ እንዘ ኢይነግሩ ቃሎሙ ዘእንበለ ለአይሁድ ለባሕቲቶሙ ።
They therefore who were scattered abroad by the oppression that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews only.
那些因司提反的事遭患難四散的門徒直走到腓尼基和塞浦路斯，並安提阿；他們不向別人講道，只向猶太人講。
11:20
ወቦ እምውስቴቶሙ ሰብአ ቆጵሮስ ወቀሬናውያን እለ ሖሩ አንጾኪያ ወነገርዎሙ ለአረማውያን ወመሀርዎሙ በእንተ እግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ።
But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.
但內中有塞浦路斯和古利奈人，他們到了安提阿也向希臘人傳講主耶穌 。
11:21
ወእደ እግዚአብሔር ምስሌሆሙ ወበዝኀ ኍልቆሙ ለእለ አምኑ ወተመይጡ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ።
The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
主與他們同在，信而歸主的人就很多了。
11:22
ወተሰምዐ ዝ ነገር በአብያተ ክርስቲያናት ዘኢየሩሳሌም በእንቲኣሆሙ ወፈነውዎ ለበርናባስ አንጾኪያ ።
The report concerning them came to the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem. They sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch,
這風聲傳到耶路撒冷教會人的耳中，他們就打發巴拿巴出去，走到安提阿為止。
11:23
ወበጺሖ ርእየ ጸጋ እግዚአብሔር ወተፈሥሐ ወመሀሮሙ ለኵሎሙ ይትመየጡ በኵሉ ልቦሙ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ።
who, when he had come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad. He exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they should remain near to the Lord.
他到了那裏，看見上帝所賜的恩就歡喜，勸勉眾人，立定心志，恆久靠主。
11:24
እስመ ብእሲ ጻድቅ ውእቱ ወምሉአ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ወሃይማኖት ወተወሰኩ ብዙኃን አሕዛብ ኀበ እግዚእነ ።
For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and many people were added to the Lord.
這巴拿巴原是個好人，被聖靈充滿，大有信心。於是有許多人歸服了主。
11:25
ወእምዝ ሖረ በርናባስ ኀበ ጠርሶን ይኅሥሦ ለሳውል ወረከቦ ወወሰዶ አንጾኪያ ።
Barnabas went out to Tarsus to look for Saul.
他又往大數去找掃羅，
11:26
ወነበሩ አሐተ ዓመተ ኅቡረ በቤተ ክርስቲያን ዘአንጾኪያ ወመሀሩ ለብዙኃን አሕዛብ ወተሰምዩ አርድእት ክርስቲያነ በአንጾኪያ ቀዲሙ ።
When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
找着了，就帶他到安提阿去。他們足有一年的工夫和教會一同聚集，教訓了許多人。門徒稱為「基督徒」是從安提阿起首。
11:27
ወውእተ አሚረ ወረዱ ነቢያት እምኢየሩሳሌም ለአንጾኪያ ።
Now in these days, prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
當那些日子，有幾位先知從耶路撒冷下到安提阿。
11:28
ወተንሥአ አሐዱ እምውስቴቶሙ ዘስሙ አጋቦስ ወነገረ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ከመ ይመጽእ ረኃብ ዐቢይ ውስተ ኵሉ ዓለም ወዝ ዘኮነ በመዋዕለ ቀላውዴዎስ ቄሣር ።
One of them named Agabus stood up and indicated by the Spirit that there should be a great famine all over the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius.
內中有一位，名叫亞迦布，站起來，藉着聖靈指明天下將有大饑荒。（這事到克勞第年間果然有了。）
11:29
ወእምዝ አስተዋፅኡ አርድእት መጠነ ይክሉ ።
As any of the disciples had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea;
於是門徒定意照各人的力量捐錢，送去供給住在猶太的弟兄。
11:30
ወፈነዉ ለቢጾሙ እለ ይነብሩ ብሔረ ይሁዳ ምስለ በርናባስ ወሳውል ኀበ ኵሎሙ ቀሲሳን ።
which they also did, sending it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
他們就這樣行，把捐項託巴拿巴和掃羅送到眾長老那裏。
