15:1
አነ ውእቱ ሐረገ ወይን ዘጽድቅ ወአቡየ ተካሊሁ ውእቱ ።
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
「我是真葡萄樹，我父是栽培的人。
15:2
ወለኵሉ ዐጽቅ ዘኢይፈሪ በላዕሌየ ይገዝምዎ ወያአትትዎ ወለኵሉ ዐጽቅ ዘይፈሪ ያስተናጽሕዎ ከመ ብዙኀ ይፍረይ ።
Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡結果子的，他就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。
15:3
ወአንትሙሰ ወዳእክሙ ንጹሓን አንትሙ በእንተ ቃል ዘነገርኩክሙ ።
You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
現在你們因我講給你們的道，已經乾淨了。
15:4
ንበሩ ብየ ወአነሂ ብክሙ ወበከመ ዐጽቅ ኢይክል ፈርየ ባሕቲቱ እመ ኢሀሎ ውስተ ጕንደ ወይኑ ከማሁ አንትሙኒ ኢትክሉ ፈርየ ለእመ ኢነበርክሙ ብየ ።
Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
你們要常在我裏面，我也常在你們裏面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子；你們若不常在我裏面，也是這樣。
15:5
አነ ውእቱ ጕንደ ወይን ወአንትሙሂ አዕጹቂሁ ዘነበረ ብየ ወአነሂ ቦቱ ውእቱኬ ዘይፈሪ ብዙኀ እስመ ዘእንበሌየሰ አልቦ ዘትክሉ ገቢረ ወኢምንተኒ ።
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裏面的，我也常在他裏面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能做甚麼。
15:6
ወእመቦ ዘኢነበረ ብየ ይገድፍዎ አፍኣ ከመ ዐጽቅ ይቡስ ወያስተጋብእዎ ወያውዕይዎ በእሳት ።
If a man doesn’t remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
人若不常在我裏面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來，扔在火裏燒了。
15:7
ወእመሰ ነበርክሙ ብየ ወነበረ ቃልየ ኀቤክሙ ኵሎ ዘፈቀድክሙ ትስእሉ ወይከውን ለክሙ ።
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
你們若常在我裏面，我的話也常在你們裏面，凡你們所願意的，祈求，就給你們成就。
15:8
ወበዝንቱ ይሴባሕ አቡየ እምከመ ብዙኀ ፍሬ ትፈርዩ ወትከውኑኒ አርዳእየ ።
“In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。
15:9
ወበከመ አፍቀረኒ አብ ከማሁ አነሂ አፍቀርኩክሙ ንበሩ በፍቅረ ዚኣየ ።
Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love.
我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣；你們要常在我的愛裏。
15:10
ወእመሰ ታፈቅሩኒ ዕቀቡ ትእዛዝየ ወሀልዉ በፍቅረ ዚኣየ በከመ ዐቀብኩ አነ ትእዛዞ ለአቡየ ወእሄሉ በፍቅሩ ።
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裏，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裏。
15:11
ወነገርኩክሙ ዘንተ ከመ የሀሉ ልብየ ወፍሥሓየ ወፍቅርየ ኀቤክሙ ከመ ፍጹመ ይኩን ፍሥሓክሙ ።
I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.
「這些事我已經對你們說了，是要叫我的喜樂存在你們心裏，並叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。
15:12
ወዛቲ ይእቲ ትእዛዘ እንቲኣየ ከመ ትትፋቀሩ በበይናቲክሙ በከመ አነ አፍቀርኩክሙ ።
“This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
你們要彼此相愛，像我愛你們一樣；這就是我的命令。
15:13
አልቦ ዘየዐቢ ወይኄይስ እምዝ ፍቅር ከመ ብእሲ ዘይሜጡ ነፍሶ ቤዛ ነፍሰ ቢጹ ።
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
人為朋友捨命，人的愛心沒有比這個大的。
15:14
አንትሙሰኬ አዕርክትየ አንትሙ እምከመ ገበርክሙ ኵሎ ዘአዘዝኩክሙ ።
You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.
你們若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。
15:15
ኢይብለክሙ እንከ አግብርትየ አላ አዕርክትየ አንትሙ እስመ ገብርሰ ኢየአምር ዘይሬስዮ እግዚኡ ወለክሙሰ አዕርክትየ እብለክሙ እስመ ኵሎ ዘሰማዕኩ በኀበ አቡየ ነገርኩክሙ ።
No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn’t know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.
以後我不再稱你們為僕人，因僕人不知道主人所做的事。我乃稱你們為朋友；因我從我父所聽見的，已經都告訴你們了。
15:16
አኮ አንትሙ ዘኀረይክሙኒ ወሤምክሙኒ አላ አነ ኀረይኩክሙ ወሤምኩክሙ ወእሬስየክሙ ከመ ትሑሩ ወፍሬ ትፍረዩ ወውእቱ ፍሬክሙ ይነብር ለዓለም ከመ እመቦ ዘሰአልክምዎ ለአብ በስምየ ኵሎ ይሁበክሙ ።
You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
不是你們揀選了我，是我揀選了你們，並且分派你們去結果子，叫你們的果子常存，使你們奉我的名，無論向父求甚麼，他就賜給你們。
15:17
ወዘንተ እኤዝዘክሙ ከመ ትትፋቀሩ በበይናቲክሙ ።
“I command these things to you, that you may love one another.
我這樣吩咐你們，是要叫你們彼此相愛。」
15:18
እመሂ ዓለም ጸልአክሙ አእምሩ ከመ ኪያየ ቀደመ ጸሊአ ።
If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
「世人若恨你們，你們知道 ，恨你們以先已經恨我了。
15:19
ሶበሰ እምዓለም አንትሙ እምአፍቀረክሙ ዓለም እስመ ዓለም ያፈቅር እሊኣሁ ወባሕቱ እስመ ኢኮንክሙ እምዓለም አላ አነ ኀረይኩክሙ እምውስተ ዓለም ወበእንተ ዝንቱ ይጸልአክሙ ዓለም ።
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的；只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。
15:20
ተዘከሩ ቃልየ ዘአነ እቤለክሙ አልቦ ገብር ዘየዐቢ እምእግዚኡ ወኢሐዋርያ እምዘፈነዎ እምከመ ኪያየ ሰደዱ ኪያክሙኒ ይሰድዱክሙ ወሶበሰ ዐቀቡ ቃልየ ቃለክሙኒ እምዐቀቡ ።
Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his lord.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
你們要記念我從前對你們所說的話：『僕人不能大於主人。』他們若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你們；若遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的話。
15:21
ወባሕቱ ዘንተ ኵሎ ይገብሩ ላዕሌክሙ በእንተ ስምየ እስመ ኢየአምርዎ ለዘፈነወኒ ።
But they will do all these things to you for my name’s sake, because they don’t know him who sent me.
但他們因我的名要向你們行這一切的事，因為他們不認識那差我來的。
15:22
ሶበሰ ኢመጻእኩ ወኢነገርክዎሙ እምድኅኑ ወእምኢኮኖሙ ጌጋየ ወይእዜሰ ባሕቱ አልቦሙ ምክንያት ለጌጋዮሙ ።
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
我若沒有來教訓他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們的罪無可推諉了。
15:23
ዘጸልአ ኪያየ ጸልኦ ለአቡየ ወሶበ ኢገበርኩ ሎሙ ግብረ ዘባዕድ ኢገብሮ እምኢኮኖሙ ጌጋየ ።
He who hates me, hates my Father also.
恨我的，也恨我的父。
15:24
ወይእዜሰ ባሕቱ ርእዩኒሂ ወጸልኡኒሂ ኪያየሂ ወአቡየሂ ።
If I hadn’t done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn’t have had sin. But now they have seen and also hated both me and my Father.
我若沒有在他們中間行過別人未曾行的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見也恨惡了。
15:25
ወባሕቱ ከመ ይብጻሕ ቃል ዘጽሑፍ ውስተ ኦሪቶሙ ዘይቤ ጸልኡኒ በከንቱ ።
But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law, ‘They hated me without a cause.’
這要應驗他們律法上所寫的話，說：『他們無故地恨我。』
15:26
ወሶበ መጽአ ጰራቅሊጦስ ዘአነ እፌኑ ለክሙ እምኀበ አብ መንፈሰ ጽድቅ ዘይወፅእ እምኀበ አብ ውእቱ ሰማዕትየ ።
“When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來真理的聖靈；他來了，就要為我作見證。
15:27
ወአንትሙሂ ሰማዕትየ እስመ እምትካት ሀለውክሙ ምስሌየ ።
You will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.
你們也要作見證，因為你們從起頭就與我同在。」
