31:1

καὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ἐπολέμουν ἐπὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἔφυγον οἱ ἄνδρες Ισραηλ ἐκ προσώπου τῶν ἀλλοφύλων καὶ πίπτουσιν τραυματίαι ἐν τῷ ὄρει τῷ Γελβουε

And the Philistines were making war against Israel, and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and they fall down slain on Mount Gelbue.

非利士人攻打以色列，以色列人從非利士人面前逃跑，有被殺的仆倒在基利波山上。

31:2

καὶ συνάπτουσιν ἀλλόφυλοι τῷ Σαουλ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ τύπτουσιν ἀλλόφυλοι τὸν Ιωναθαν καὶ τὸν Αμιναδαβ καὶ τὸν Μελχισα υἱοὺς Σαουλ

And the Philistines engage Saul and his sons, and the Philistines strike Jonathan and Aminadab and Melchisa, the sons of Saul.

非利士人與掃羅和他的眾子交戰，非利士人擊殺了掃羅的兒子約拿單、亞米拿達和麥基撒。

31:3

καὶ βαρύνεται ὁ πόλεμος ἐπὶ Σαουλ καὶ εὑρίσκουσιν αὐτὸν οἱ ἀκοντισταί ἄνδρες τοξόται καὶ ἐτραυματίσθη εἰς τὰ ὑποχόνδρια

And the battle bore heavily upon Saul, and the javelin-throwers, men who were archers, found him, and he was wounded in the parts below the ribs.

掃羅身上的戰事十分沉重，投槍的人—就是弓箭手—找著了他，他就在肋下受了傷。

31:4

καὶ εἶπεν Σαουλ πρὸς τὸν αἴροντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ σπάσαι τὴν ῥομφαίαν σου καὶ ἀποκέντησόν με ἐν αὐτῇ μὴ ἔλθωσιν οἱ ἀπερίτμητοι οὗτοι καὶ ἀποκεντήσωσίν με καὶ ἐμπαίξωσίν μοι καὶ οὐκ ἐβούλετο ὁ αἴρων τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ὅτι ἐφοβήθη σφόδρα καὶ ἔλαβεν Σαουλ τὴν ῥομφαίαν καὶ ἐπέπεσεν ἐπ’ αὐτήν

And Saul said to his armor-bearer, Draw your sword and pierce me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and pierce me through and mock me. But his armor-bearer was not willing, for he was greatly afraid. And Saul took the sword and fell upon it.

掃羅對拿他兵器的人說：「拔出你的刀來，用刀刺透我，免得這些未受割禮的人來刺透我，戲弄我。」但拿他兵器的人不肯，因為他甚是懼怕。掃羅就拿起刀來，伏在刀上。

31:5

καὶ εἶδεν ὁ αἴρων τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ὅτι τέθνηκεν Σαουλ καὶ ἐπέπεσεν καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπὶ τὴν ῥομφαίαν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπέθανεν μετ’ αὐτοῦ

And his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, and he also fell upon his own sword and died with him.

拿他兵器的人見掃羅已死，他也伏在自己的刀上，與他同死。

31:6

καὶ ἀπέθανεν Σαουλ καὶ οἱ τρεῖς υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ αἴρων τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ κατὰ τὸ αὐτό

And Saul died, and his three sons, and his armor-bearer, on that day together.

當那一日，掃羅和他的三個兒子，並拿他兵器的人，都一同死了。

31:7

καὶ εἶδον οἱ ἄνδρες Ισραηλ οἱ ἐν τῷ πέραν τῆς κοιλάδος καὶ οἱ ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου ὅτι ἔφυγον οἱ ἄνδρες Ισραηλ καὶ ὅτι τέθνηκεν Σαουλ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ καταλείπουσιν τὰς πόλεις αὐτῶν καὶ φεύγουσιν καὶ ἔρχονται οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι καὶ κατοικοῦσιν ἐν αὐταῖς

And the men of Israel who were beyond the valley and those beyond the Jordan saw that the men of Israel had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead; and they abandon their cities and flee, and the Philistines come and dwell in them.

在谷那邊和約旦河那邊的以色列人，見以色列人逃跑了，又見掃羅和他的兒子們都死了，就撇下他們的城邑逃跑；非利士人便來住在其中。

31:8

καὶ ἐγενήθη τῇ ἐπαύριον καὶ ἔρχονται οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ἐκδιδύσκειν τοὺς νεκροὺς καὶ εὑρίσκουσιν τὸν Σαουλ καὶ τοὺς τρεῖς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ πεπτωκότας ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη Γελβουε

And it came to pass on the next day, and the Philistines come to strip the dead, and they find Saul and his three sons fallen on the mountains of Gelbue.

到了次日，非利士人來剝那些死人的衣服，就看見掃羅和他三個兒子仆倒在基利波眾山上。

31:9

καὶ ἀποστρέφουσιν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐξέδυσαν τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀποστέλλουσιν αὐτὰ εἰς γῆν ἀλλοφύλων κύκλῳ εὐαγγελίζοντες τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν καὶ τῷ λαῷ αὐτῶν

And they turn him over and stripped off his armor, and they send it round about into the land of the Philistines, bringing the good news to their idols and to their people.

他們就把他翻轉過來，剝了他的軍裝，又把軍裝送到非利士地的四境去，向他們的偶像和他們的百姓報這好消息。

31:10

καὶ ἀνέθηκαν τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ Ἀσταρτεῖον καὶ τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ κατέπηξαν ἐν τῷ τείχει Βαιθσαν

And they dedicated his armor in the temple of Astarte, and they fastened his body on the wall of Baithsan.

他們將他的軍裝獻在亞斯他錄的廟裡，又將他的屍身釘在伯珊的城牆上。

31:11

καὶ ἀκούουσιν οἱ κατοικοῦντες Ιαβις τῆς Γαλααδίτιδος ἃ ἐποίησαν οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι τῷ Σαουλ

And the inhabitants of Iabis of Galaaditis hear what the Philistines had done to Saul.

基列的雅比居民聽見非利士人向掃羅所行的事，

31:12

καὶ ἀνέστησαν πᾶς ἀνὴρ δυνάμεως καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὅλην τὴν νύκτα καὶ ἔλαβον τὸ σῶμα Σαουλ καὶ τὸ σῶμα Ιωναθαν τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τείχους Βαιθσαν καὶ φέρουσιν αὐτοὺς εἰς Ιαβις καὶ κατακαίουσιν αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ

And every man of valor arose and they went all the night, and they took the body of Saul and the body of Jonathan his son from the wall of Baithsan, and they bring them to Iabis and burn them there.

一切有勇力的人就起身，走了一整夜，將掃羅的屍身和他兒子約拿單的屍身從伯珊的城牆上取下來，送到雅比，在那裡把他們燒了。

31:13

καὶ λαμβάνουσιν τὰ ὀστᾶ αὐτῶν καὶ θάπτουσιν ὑπὸ τὴν ἄρουραν τὴν Ιαβις καὶ νηστεύουσιν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας

And they take their bones and bury them under the ploughed field of Iabis, and they fast seven days.

他們取了他們的骸骨，葬在雅比的耕地之下，又禁食七日。
