ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

2:1
And Salomon gathered seventy thousand men and eighty thousand stonecutters in the mountain, and the overseers over them were three thousand six hundred.
And Salomon sent to Chiram king of Tyre, saying, As you dealt with my father David and sent him cedars to build himself a house to dwell in,
And behold, I his son am building a house for the name of the Lord my God, to consecrate it to him, to burn incense before him, incense and the bread of the Presence continually, and to offer whole burnt offerings continually, in the morning and in the evening, and on the sabbaths and at the new moons and at the feasts of the Lord our God — this forever upon Israel.
And the house that I am building is great, for our God is great beyond all the gods.
And who will be strong enough to build him a house? For the heaven and the heaven of heaven do not contain his glory. And who am I to build him a house, except only to burn incense before him?
And now send me a man who is wise and skilled to work in gold and in silver and in bronze and in iron and in purple and in scarlet and in blue, and who knows how to engrave engravings, together with the skilled men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.
And send me cedar and juniper and pine timber from Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut timber from Lebanon; and behold, your servants shall be with my servants,
They shall go to prepare timber for me in abundance, for the house that I am building is great and glorious.
And behold, for the workers who cut the timber, for food I have given wheat as provisions to your servants: twenty thousand cors, and of barley twenty thousand cors, and of wine twenty thousand measures, and of oil twenty thousand measures.
And Chiram king of Tyre said in writing and sent it to Salomon: Because the Lord loved his people, he has given you over them as king.
And Chiram said, Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, who made the heaven and the earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, knowing understanding and knowledge, who will build a house for the Lord and a house for his kingdom.
And now I have sent you a wise man who knows understanding, Chiram my father.
His mother is of the daughters of Dan, and his father a man of Tyre. He knows how to work in gold and in silver and in bronze and in iron, in stones and in wood, and to weave in purple and in blue and in fine linen and in scarlet, and to engrave engravings and to devise every device — whatever you assign him, along with your skilled men and the skilled men of David, my lord, your father.
And now let my lord send to his servants the wheat and the barley and the oil and the wine of which he spoke.
And we will cut timber from Lebanon according to all your need, and we will bring it on rafts to the sea of Ioppe, and you shall bring it up to Jerusalem.
And Salomon gathered all the men, the sojourners in the land of Israel, according to the census by which David his father had numbered them; and there were found one hundred fifty thousand and three thousand six hundred.
And he made of them seventy thousand bearers of burdens and eighty thousand stonecutters and three thousand six hundred taskmasters over the people.
