5:1

υἱέ ἐμῇ σοφίᾳ πρόσεχε ἐμοῖς δὲ λόγοις παράβαλλε σὸν οὖς

My son, attend to my wisdom, and incline your ear to my words,

我兒，要留心我的智慧，要側耳聽我的話，

5:2

ἵνα φυλάξῃς ἔννοιαν ἀγαθήν αἴσθησιν δὲ ἐμῶν χειλέων ἐντέλλομαί σοι

That you may keep good reflection; and I command you the perception of my lips.

好使你謹守美好的思慮；我把我嘴唇的知覺吩咐你。

5:3

μὴ πρόσεχε φαύλῃ γυναικί μέλι γὰρ ἀποστάζει ἀπὸ χειλέων γυναικὸς πόρνης ἣ πρὸς καιρὸν λιπαίνει σὸν φάρυγγα

Do not give heed to a worthless woman; for honey drips from the lips of a harlot, who for a season makes your throat smooth;

不可留意淫邪的婦人，因為蜜從妓女的嘴唇滴下，她暫時滋潤你的咽喉；

5:4

ὕστερον μέντοι πικρότερον χολῆς εὑρήσεις καὶ ἠκονημένον μᾶλλον μαχαίρας διστόμου

But afterward you will find her more bitter than gall, and sharper than a two-edged sword.

但後來你必發覺她比苦膽更苦，比兩刃的刀更鋒利。

5:5

τῆς γὰρ ἀφροσύνης οἱ πόδες κατάγουσιν τοὺς χρωμένους αὐτῇ μετὰ θανάτου εἰς τὸν ᾅδην τὰ δὲ ἴχνη αὐτῆς οὐκ ἐρείδεται

For the feet of folly bring those who resort to her down with death into Hades, and her footsteps are not steady;

因為愚妄的腳把親近她的人同死亡一起帶下陰間，她的腳蹤也站立不穩；

5:6

ὁδοὺς γὰρ ζωῆς οὐκ ἐπέρχεται σφαλεραὶ δὲ αἱ τροχιαὶ αὐτῆς καὶ οὐκ εὔγνωστοι

For she does not walk the ways of life; her tracks are slippery and not easily known.

她不走生命的道路，她的軌道滑而不穩，也難以辨識。

5:7

νῦν οὖν υἱέ ἄκουέ μου καὶ μὴ ἀκύρους ποιήσῃς ἐμοὺς λόγους

Now therefore, my son, hear me, and do not make my words void.

我兒，現在要聽我，不可使我的話歸於無效。

5:8

μακρὰν ποίησον ἀπ’ αὐτῆς σὴν ὁδόν μὴ ἐγγίσῃς πρὸς θύραις οἴκων αὐτῆς

Keep your way far from her; do not draw near to the doors of her house,

要使你的道路遠離她，不可挨近她家的門口，

5:9

ἵνα μὴ πρόῃ ἄλλοις ζωήν σου καὶ σὸν βίον ἀνελεήμοσιν

Lest you give up your life to others and your years to the merciless;

免得你把自己的生命交給別人，把自己的年日交給無憐憫的人；
