8:1
σὺ τὴν σοφίαν κηρύξεις ἵνα φρόνησίς σοι ὑπακούσῃ
You shall proclaim wisdom, that prudence may obey you;
你要宣揚智慧，好使明辨聽從你；
8:2
ἐπὶ γὰρ τῶν ὑψηλῶν ἄκρων ἐστίν ἀνὰ μέσον δὲ τῶν τρίβων ἕστηκεν
For she is on the lofty heights, and stands in the midst of the paths;
因為她在高處的頂端，站立在路徑之間；
8:3
παρὰ γὰρ πύλαις δυναστῶν παρεδρεύει ἐν δὲ εἰσόδοις ὑμνεῖται
For she takes her place beside the gates of the mighty, and at the entrances she is hymned:
她在掌權者的門旁侍立，在入口之處被歌頌：
8:4
ὑμᾶς ὦ ἄνθρωποι παρακαλῶ καὶ προΐεμαι ἐμὴν φωνὴν υἱοῖς ἀνθρώπων
"You, O people, I exhort, and I send forth my voice to the sons of men.
「眾人哪，我勸戒你們，我向世人發出我的聲音。
8:5
νοήσατε ἄκακοι πανουργίαν οἱ δὲ ἀπαίδευτοι ἔνθεσθε καρδίαν
O innocent ones, understand shrewdness; and you untaught, put a heart in yourselves.
天真的人哪，你們要明白機敏；沒有受教的人哪，你們要把心放進去。
8:6
εἰσακούσατέ μου σεμνὰ γὰρ ἐρῶ καὶ ἀνοίσω ἀπὸ χειλέων ὀρθά
Listen to me, for I will speak solemn things, and I will bring forth what is right from my lips;
你們要聽我，因為我要說莊重的話，我的嘴唇要發出正直的言語；
8:7
ὅτι ἀλήθειαν μελετήσει ὁ φάρυγξ μου ἐβδελυγμένα δὲ ἐναντίον ἐμοῦ χείλη ψευδῆ
For my throat will meditate on truth, and lying lips are abominable before me."
因為我的喉嚨要思念真理，說謊的嘴唇在我面前是可憎的。」
8:8
μετὰ δικαιοσύνης πάντα τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματός μου οὐδὲν ἐν αὐτοῖς σκολιὸν οὐδὲ στραγγαλῶδες
All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; there is nothing crooked or tangled in them.
我口中的一切言語都帶著公義，其中沒有彎曲的，也沒有糾結的。
8:9
πάντα ἐνώπια τοῖς συνιοῦσιν καὶ ὀρθὰ τοῖς εὑρίσκουσι γνῶσιν
They are all plain to those who understand, and upright to those who find knowledge.
對明白的人，這一切都是明顯的；對尋得知識的人，都是正直的。
8:10
λάβετε παιδείαν καὶ μὴ ἀργύριον καὶ γνῶσιν ὑπὲρ χρυσίον δεδοκιμασμένον ἀνθαιρεῖσθε δὲ αἴσθησιν χρυσίου καθαροῦ
Receive instruction and not silver, and knowledge rather than tested gold; and choose perception in preference to pure gold.
你們要接受管教，不要接受銀子；要接受知識，勝過受過試驗的金子；要寧取知覺，而不取純金。
8:11
κρείσσων γὰρ σοφία λίθων πολυτελῶν πᾶν δὲ τίμιον οὐκ ἄξιον αὐτῆς ἐστιν
For wisdom is better than costly stones, and nothing precious is worth as much as she.
因為智慧勝過貴重的寶石，一切珍貴之物都比不上她。
8:12
ἐγὼ ἡ σοφία κατεσκήνωσα βουλήν καὶ γνῶσιν καὶ ἔννοιαν ἐγὼ ἐπεκαλεσάμην
I, wisdom, made counsel my dwelling; and knowledge and reflection I have called upon.
我智慧，使謀略與我同住；知識和思慮，是我所呼求的。
8:13
φόβος κυρίου μισεῖ ἀδικίαν ὕβριν τε καὶ ὑπερηφανίαν καὶ ὁδοὺς πονηρῶν μεμίσηκα δὲ ἐγὼ διεστραμμένας ὁδοὺς κακῶν
The fear of the Lord hates unrighteousness, and insolence and arrogance and the ways of wicked men; and I have hated the perverted ways of evil men.
敬畏主就恨惡不義，也恨惡狂傲、驕傲和惡人的道路；我也恨惡了惡人扭曲的道路。
8:14
ἐμὴ βουλὴ καὶ ἀσφάλεια ἐμὴ φρόνησις ἐμὴ δὲ ἰσχύς
Counsel and safety are mine, understanding is mine, and strength is mine.
謀略和穩妥是我的，明哲是我的，能力也是我的。
8:15
δῑ ἐμοῦ βασιλεῖς βασιλεύουσιν καὶ οἱ δυνάσται γράφουσιν δικαιοσύνην
By me kings reign, and rulers decree righteousness.
君王藉我掌王權，掌權者藉我制定公義。
8:16
δῑ ἐμοῦ μεγιστᾶνες μεγαλύνονται καὶ τύραννοι δῑ ἐμοῦ κρατοῦσι γῆς
By me great men are magnified, and by me sovereigns hold the earth.
大臣藉我得尊大，統治者也藉我掌管大地。
8:17
ἐγὼ τοὺς ἐμὲ φιλοῦντας ἀγαπῶ οἱ δὲ ἐμὲ ζητοῦντες εὑρήσουσιν
I love those who love me, and those who seek me will find me.
我愛那些愛我的人；尋求我的，必尋見。
8:18
πλοῦτος καὶ δόξα ἐμοὶ ὑπάρχει καὶ κτῆσις πολλῶν καὶ δικαιοσύνη
Wealth and glory belong to me, and the possession of many things, and righteousness.
財富與榮耀歸我所有，還有豐足的產業和公義。
8:19
βέλτιον ἐμὲ καρπίζεσθαι ὑπὲρ χρυσίον καὶ λίθον τίμιον τὰ δὲ ἐμὰ γενήματα κρείσσω ἀργυρίου ἐκλεκτοῦ
To gather fruit from me is better than gold and precious stone, and my produce is better than choice silver.
從我得果實勝過得金子和寶石；我的出產勝過精選的銀子。
8:20
ἐν ὁδοῖς δικαιοσύνης περιπατῶ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τρίβων δικαιώματος ἀναστρέφομαι
I walk in the ways of righteousness, and I move about among the paths of justice.
我行在公義的道路上，往來於公正的路徑之間。
8:21
ἵνα μερίσω τοῖς ἐμὲ ἀγαπῶσιν ὕπαρξιν καὶ τοὺς θησαυροὺς αὐτῶν ἐμπλήσω ἀγαθῶν ἐὰν ἀναγγείλω ὑμῖν τὰ καθ’ ἡμέραν γινόμενα μνημονεύσω τὰ ἐξ αἰῶνος ἀριθμῆσαι
that I may distribute substance to those who love me, and fill their treasuries with good things. If I declare to you the things that happen day by day, I will remember to recount the things from of old.
為要把家業分給愛我的人，使他們的庫房充滿美物。我若把每日所發生的事告訴你們，我必記念去數算那從亙古以來的事。
8:22
κύριος ἔκτισέν με ἀρχὴν ὁδῶν αὐτοῦ εἰς ἔργα αὐτοῦ
The Lord created me as the beginning of his ways, for his works.
主創造了我，作他道路的起初，為著他的工作。
8:23
πρὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος ἐθεμελίωσέν με ἐν ἀρχῇ
Before the age he founded me, in the beginning.
在亙古之前，他在起初立了我的根基。
8:24
πρὸ τοῦ τὴν γῆν ποιῆσαι καὶ πρὸ τοῦ τὰς ἀβύσσους ποιῆσαι πρὸ τοῦ προελθεῖν τὰς πηγὰς τῶν ὑδάτων
before he made the earth, and before he made the deeps, before the springs of the waters came forth,
在造大地以前，在造眾深淵以前，在眾水的泉源湧出以前。
8:25
πρὸ τοῦ ὄρη ἑδρασθῆναι πρὸ δὲ πάντων βουνῶν γεννᾷ με
before the mountains were set firm, and before all the hills, he begets me.
在群山被安置以前，在一切岡陵之前，他生我。
8:26
κύριος ἐποίησεν χώρας καὶ ἀοικήτους καὶ ἄκρα οἰκούμενα τῆς ὑπ’ οὐρανόν
The Lord made the countrysides and the uninhabited places, and the inhabited extremities of the region under heaven.
主造了田野和無人居住之地，以及天下有人居住的境界。
8:27
ἡνίκα ἡτοίμαζεν τὸν οὐρανόν συμπαρήμην αὐτῷ καὶ ὅτε ἀφώριζεν τὸν ἑαυτοῦ θρόνον ἐπ’ ἀνέμων
When he was preparing the heaven, I was present with him; and when he was marking off his own throne upon the winds.
當他預備諸天的時候，我與他同在；當他在風之上劃定自己的寶座時，我也在那裡。
8:28
ἡνίκα ἰσχυρὰ ἐποίει τὰ ἄνω νέφη καὶ ὡς ἀσφαλεῖς ἐτίθει πηγὰς τῆς ὑπ’ οὐρανὸν
When he was making the clouds above strong, and was setting the springs under heaven secure,
當他使上面的雲彩堅固，又使天下的泉源穩固的時候，
8:29
καὶ ἰσχυρὰ ἐποίει τὰ θεμέλια τῆς γῆς
and when he was making the foundations of the earth strong.
又使大地的根基堅固的時候。
8:30
ἤμην παρ’ αὐτῷ ἁρμόζουσα ἐγὼ ἤμην ᾗ προσέχαιρεν καθ’ ἡμέραν δὲ εὐφραινόμην ἐν προσώπῳ αὐτοῦ ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ
I was beside him, fitting all things together; I was the one in whom he delighted; and day by day I rejoiced before his face at every season,
我在他身旁調和萬有；我就是他所喜悅的那一位；我天天在他面前歡樂，時時如此。
8:31
ὅτε εὐφραίνετο τὴν οἰκουμένην συντελέσας καὶ ἐνευφραίνετο ἐν υἱοῖς ἀνθρώπων
when he rejoiced, having completed the inhabited world, and delighted in the sons of men.
那時他完成了人所居住的世界就歡喜，又以世人為樂。
8:32
νῦν οὖν υἱέ ἄκουέ μου
Now therefore, son, listen to me.
現在，我兒，你要聽我。
8:34
μακάριος ἀνήρ ὃς εἰσακούσεταί μου καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς τὰς ἐμὰς ὁδοὺς φυλάξει ἀγρυπνῶν ἐπ’ ἐμαῖς θύραις καθ’ ἡμέραν τηρῶν σταθμοὺς ἐμῶν εἰσόδων
Blessed is the man who will listen to me, and the person who will keep my ways, keeping watch daily at my doors, guarding the posts of my entrances.
聽從我的人有福了，謹守我道路的人也有福了；他天天在我門口儆醒，看守我入口的門柱。
8:35
αἱ γὰρ ἔξοδοί μου ἔξοδοι ζωῆς καὶ ἑτοιμάζεται θέλησις παρὰ κυρίου
For my goings out are goings out of life, and favour is prepared from the Lord.
因為我的出路乃是生命的出路，並且有恩寵從主那裡預備好了。
8:36
οἱ δὲ εἰς ἐμὲ ἁμαρτάνοντες ἀσεβοῦσιν τὰς ἑαυτῶν ψυχάς καὶ οἱ μισοῦντές με ἀγαπῶσιν θάνατον
But those who sin against me act impiously toward their own souls, and those who hate me love death.
但那些得罪我的，是害自己的魂行了不敬虔的事；凡恨惡我的，都喜愛死亡。
