2:1

υἱέ ἐὰν δεξάμενος ῥῆσιν ἐμῆς ἐντολῆς κρύψῃς παρὰ σεαυτῷ

My son, if you receive the utterance of my commandment and hide it with yourself,

我兒，你若領受我誡命的話語，把它珍藏在自己那裡，

2:2

ὑπακούσεται σοφίας τὸ οὖς σου καὶ παραβαλεῖς καρδίαν σου εἰς σύνεσιν παραβαλεῖς δὲ αὐτὴν ἐπὶ νουθέτησιν τῷ υἱῷ σου

Your ear will hearken to wisdom, and you will apply your heart to understanding, and you will apply it for the admonition of your son.

你的耳朵就必聽從智慧，你也必把你的心傾向聰明，並把它用來勸戒你的兒子。

2:3

ἐὰν γὰρ τὴν σοφίαν ἐπικαλέσῃ καὶ τῇ συνέσει δῷς φωνήν σου τὴν δὲ αἴσθησιν ζητήσῃς μεγάλῃ τῇ φωνῇ

For if you call upon wisdom and give your voice to understanding, and seek perception with a loud voice,

你若呼求智慧，向聰明揚聲，又大聲尋求知覺，

2:4

καὶ ἐὰν ζητήσῃς αὐτὴν ὡς ἀργύριον καὶ ὡς θησαυροὺς ἐξερευνήσῃς αὐτήν

And if you seek her as silver and search her out as treasures,

你若尋找她如同尋找銀子，搜尋她如同搜尋寶藏，

2:5

τότε συνήσεις φόβον κυρίου καὶ ἐπίγνωσιν θεοῦ εὑρήσεις

Then you will understand the fear of the Lord and will find the knowledge of God.

那時你就明白敬畏主，也必尋得認識神的知識。

2:6

ὅτι κύριος δίδωσιν σοφίαν καὶ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ γνῶσις καὶ σύνεσις

For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his presence come knowledge and understanding;

因為主賜下智慧，知識和聰明都出於他的面前；

2:7

καὶ θησαυρίζει τοῖς κατορθοῦσι σωτηρίαν ὑπερασπιεῖ τὴν πορείαν αὐτῶν

And he stores up salvation for those who go aright; he will shield their journey,

他為行事正直的人積存拯救，必護衛他們的行程，

2:8

τοῦ φυλάξαι ὁδοὺς δικαιωμάτων καὶ ὁδὸν εὐλαβουμένων αὐτὸν διαφυλάξει

To guard the ways of righteous ordinances; and he will protect the way of those who revere him.

為要保守公義典章的道路；他必看守敬畏他之人的路。

2:9

τότε συνήσεις δικαιοσύνην καὶ κρίμα καὶ κατορθώσεις πάντας ἄξονας ἀγαθούς

Then you will understand righteousness and judgment, and will make straight all good courses.

那時你就明白公義與判斷，也必修直一切美善的軌道。
