11:1
ζυγοὶ δόλιοι βδέλυγμα ἐνώπιον κυρίου στάθμιον δὲ δίκαιον δεκτὸν αὐτῷ
Deceitful balances are an abomination before the Lord, but a just weight is acceptable to him.
詭詐的天平在主面前是可憎的,公道的法碼卻蒙他悅納。
11:2
οὗ ἐὰν εἰσέλθῃ ὕβρις ἐκεῖ καὶ ἀτιμία στόμα δὲ ταπεινῶν μελετᾷ σοφίαν
Wherever insolence enters, there is dishonour too; but the mouth of the humble meditates on wisdom.
狂傲進到哪裡,羞辱也在哪裡;謙卑人的口卻思想智慧。
11:3
ἀποθανὼν δίκαιος ἔλιπεν μετάμελον πρόχειρος δὲ γίνεται καὶ ἐπίχαρτος ἀσεβῶν ἀπώλεια
When a righteous man dies he leaves regret behind, but the destruction of the impious comes readily and is a cause for gloating.
義人死了,留下的是眾人的追念惋惜;不敬虔之人的滅亡卻來得倉促,又叫人幸災樂禍。
11:5
δικαιοσύνη ἀμώμους ὀρθοτομεῖ ὁδούς ἀσέβεια δὲ περιπίπτει ἀδικίᾳ
Righteousness cuts straight paths for the blameless, but impiety falls into unrighteousness.
公義為無瑕疵的人修直道路,不敬虔卻陷在不義中。
11:6
δικαιοσύνη ἀνδρῶν ὀρθῶν ῥύεται αὐτούς τῇ δὲ ἀπωλείᾳ αὐτῶν ἁλίσκονται παράνομοι
The righteousness of upright men delivers them, but the lawless are caught by their own destruction.
正直人的公義搭救他們自己,不法的人卻被自己的敗壞所擒。
11:7
τελευτήσαντος ἀνδρὸς δικαίου οὐκ ὄλλυται ἐλπίς τὸ δὲ καύχημα τῶν ἀσεβῶν ὄλλυται
When a righteous man dies, hope does not perish; but the boast of the impious perishes.
義人死了,指望並不滅沒;不敬虔之人所誇的卻要滅沒。
11:8
δίκαιος ἐκ θήρας ἐκδύνει ἀντ’ αὐτοῦ δὲ παραδίδοται ὁ ἀσεβής
The righteous slips out of the hunt, but the impious is handed over in his place.
義人脫離獵網,不敬虔的人卻代替他被交出去。
11:9
ἐν στόματι ἀσεβῶν παγὶς πολίταις αἴσθησις δὲ δικαίων εὔοδος
In the mouth of the impious is a snare for fellow citizens, but the perception of the righteous is a good road.
不敬虔之人的口是同城人的網羅,義人的知覺卻是通達的道路。
11:10
ἐν ἀγαθοῖς δικαίων κατώρθωσεν πόλις
A city has prospered by the good things of the righteous,
城邑因義人的美福得以興盛,
11:11
στόμασιν δὲ ἀσεβῶν κατεσκάφη
but it has been torn down by the mouths of the impious.
卻因不敬虔之人的口被拆毀。
11:12
μυκτηρίζει πολίτας ἐνδεὴς φρενῶν ἀνὴρ δὲ φρόνιμος ἡσυχίαν ἄγει
He who lacks sense sneers at fellow citizens, but a sensible man keeps quiet.
缺少心竅的人譏諷同城的人,明哲人卻保持靜默。
11:13
ἀνὴρ δίγλωσσος ἀποκαλύπτει βουλὰς ἐν συνεδρίῳ πιστὸς δὲ πνοῇ κρύπτει πράγματα
A double-tongued man reveals counsels in the council, but a faithful man keeps matters hidden even in his breath.
兩舌的人在議會中洩露機密,忠信的人卻連氣息也把事情藏住。
11:14
οἷς μὴ ὑπάρχει κυβέρνησις πίπτουσιν ὥσπερ φύλλα σωτηρία δὲ ὑπάρχει ἐν πολλῇ βουλῇ
Those who have no steering fall like leaves, but there is salvation in much counsel.
沒有掌舵引導的人,就像葉子一樣墜落;謀士多,就有拯救。
11:15
πονηρὸς κακοποιεῖ ὅταν συμμείξῃ δικαίῳ μισεῖ δὲ ἦχον ἀσφαλείας
A wicked man does harm when he mixes with a righteous man, and he hates the sound of safety.
惡人與義人交往時就行惡,他也恨惡穩妥的聲音。
11:16
γυνὴ εὐχάριστος ἐγείρει ἀνδρὶ δόξαν θρόνος δὲ ἀτιμίας γυνὴ μισοῦσα δίκαια πλούτου ὀκνηροὶ ἐνδεεῖς γίνονται οἱ δὲ ἀνδρεῖοι ἐρείδονται πλούτῳ
A gracious wife brings glory to her husband, but a woman who hates just things is a throne of dishonour. The slothful come to lack wealth, but the diligent are supported by wealth.
賢惠的婦人使丈夫得榮耀,恨惡公義的婦人卻是羞辱的寶座。懶惰的人缺乏財富,勤勇的人卻以財富為倚靠。
11:17
τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτοῦ ἀγαθὸν ποιεῖ ἀνὴρ ἐλεήμων ἐξολλύει δὲ αὐτοῦ σῶμα ὁ ἀνελεήμων
A merciful man does good to his own soul, but the unmerciful destroys his own body.
憐憫人的,是善待自己的魂;不憐憫人的,卻毀壞自己的身體。
11:18
ἀσεβὴς ποιεῖ ἔργα ἄδικα σπέρμα δὲ δικαίων μισθὸς ἀληθείας
The impious does unjust works, but the seed of the righteous is a reward of truth.
不敬虔的人行不義的事,義人的後裔卻是真理的賞賜。
11:19
υἱὸς δίκαιος γεννᾶται εἰς ζωήν διωγμὸς δὲ ἀσεβοῦς εἰς θάνατον
A righteous son is born for life, but the pursuit of the impious leads to death.
義子生來是為得生命,不敬虔之人的追逐卻是趨向死亡。
11:20
βδέλυγμα κυρίῳ διεστραμμέναι ὁδοί προσδεκτοὶ δὲ αὐτῷ πάντες ἄμωμοι ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν
Perverted ways are an abomination to the Lord, but all who are blameless in their ways are acceptable to him.
扭曲的道路是主所憎惡的,凡在道路上無瑕疵的都蒙他悅納。
11:21
χειρὶ χεῖρας ἐμβαλὼν ἀδίκως οὐκ ἀτιμώρητος ἔσται ὁ δὲ σπείρων δικαιοσύνην λήμψεται μισθὸν πιστόν
He who unjustly strikes hands in agreement will not go unpunished, but he who sows righteousness will receive a sure reward.
不義地與人擊掌立約的,必不免受罰;撒種公義的,必得可靠的賞賜。
11:22
ὥσπερ ἐνώτιον ἐν ῥινὶ ὑός οὕτως γυναικὶ κακόφρονι κάλλος
Like an earring in a pig's snout, so is beauty to a woman of evil mind.
美貌對心思敗壞的婦人,就像耳環戴在豬鼻上。
11:23
ἐπιθυμία δικαίων πᾶσα ἀγαθή ἐλπὶς δὲ ἀσεβῶν ἀπολεῖται
Every desire of the righteous is good, but the hope of the impious will perish.
義人的心願全是美善的,不敬虔之人的指望卻要滅亡。
11:24
εἰσὶν οἳ τὰ ἴδια σπείροντες πλείονα ποιοῦσιν εἰσὶν καὶ οἳ συνάγοντες ἐλαττονοῦνται
There are those who, sowing what is their own, make more; and there are those who, gathering in, come to have less.
有人撒出自己所有的,反而增多;也有人只顧積聚,反倒減少。
11:25
ψυχὴ εὐλογουμένη πᾶσα ἁπλῆ ἀνὴρ δὲ θυμώδης οὐκ εὐσχήμων
Every blessed soul is single-minded, but a hot-tempered man is not seemly.
凡蒙福的魂都是純一的,暴躁的人卻不體面。
11:26
ὁ συνέχων σῖτον ὑπολίποιτο αὐτὸν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν εὐλογία δὲ εἰς κεφαλὴν τοῦ μεταδιδόντος
May he who hoards grain leave it to the nations, but blessing be on the head of him who shares it.
囤積糧食的,願他把糧食留給列國;分給人的,福必臨到他頭上。
11:27
τεκταινόμενος ἀγαθὰ ζητεῖ χάριν ἀγαθήν ἐκζητοῦντα δὲ κακά καταλήμψεται αὐτόν
He who devises good things seeks good favour, but as for him who seeks out evils, evil will overtake him.
圖謀善事的,是尋求美好的恩寵;至於追求惡事的,惡必追上他。
11:28
ὁ πεποιθὼς ἐπὶ πλούτῳ οὗτος πεσεῖται ὁ δὲ ἀντιλαμβανόμενος δικαίων οὗτος ἀνατελεῖ
He who trusts in wealth, he will fall; but he who supports the righteous, he will spring up.
倚靠財富的,這人必跌倒;扶助義人的,這人必興起。
11:29
ὁ μὴ συμπεριφερόμενος τῷ ἑαυτοῦ οἴκῳ κληρονομήσει ἄνεμον δουλεύσει δὲ ἄφρων φρονίμῳ
He who does not get along with his own household will inherit wind, and the fool will be a slave to the sensible.
不與自己家人和睦相處的,必承受風為業;愚昧人必服事明哲人。
11:30
ἐκ καρποῦ δικαιοσύνης φύεται δένδρον ζωῆς ἀφαιροῦνται δὲ ἄωροι ψυχαὶ παρανόμων
A tree of life grows from the fruit of righteousness, but the souls of the lawless are taken away untimely.
生命樹從公義的果子生長出來,不法之人的性命卻被早早奪去。
11:31
εἰ ὁ μὲν δίκαιος μόλις σῴζεται ὁ ἀσεβὴς καὶ ἁμαρτωλὸς ποῦ φανεῖται
If the righteous is scarcely saved, where will the impious and the sinner appear?
義人若僅僅得救,不敬虔和犯罪的人將在哪裡出現呢?
