Woe to you, mighty men of Israel, who did not keep that which I commanded you in the tent, and did not do My will, but only the will of your own selves—pride and arrogance and harlotry and covetousness and drunkenness and tippling, and swearing falsely.
And therefore My wrath is kindled against you, like stubble before the face of the fire, and like the fire that burns up the mountains, and like the whirlwind that lifts up the feeble dust from the earth and scatters it on high in the air, where not a trace of its work can be found.
And likewise I will destroy from before My face all those who work wickedness, said the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. And remember the Lord, who rules over all, and there is none who can prevail against Him.
And He loves those who love Him, and He forgives the sin and transgression of those who walk in His commandment. And do not be hardened and dull of heart in unbelief.
And make right your souls toward the Lord and make yourselves like Him, that you may save your souls, and that He may deliver you from the hand of your enemies in the day of your tribulation.
And when you call upon Me, I will say to you: Behold, I am with you. And I will deliver you from the hand of your enemies and will not abandon you in the day of your tribulation, because you have trusted in Me and done My commandment, and have not transgressed My law, and have loved that which I love, said the Lord who rules over all.
And He often turns away His wrath, and does not kindle the fullness of His chastisement, for He is merciful; for He knows that they are flesh and blood, and that when their soul departs from their flesh, they return to their dust.
And they do not know where they are, until the time when the Lord desires to bring them forth from where they are not; for He created them out of nothing, and again He has taken their soul and returned their dust to its dust.
12:10
ወካዕበ፡ ውእቱ፡ ያመጽኦሙ፡ እምኀበ፡ ኢሀለዉ፡ ውስተ፡ ሀለዎ፡ ፈቃዱ።
祂又必憑著自己的旨意，把他們從不存在之處帶到有的境地。
And again He shall bring them forth from where they are not, into being, by His will.
But Tserutsaydan, the rebel against the Lord, multiplied his arrogance before the Lord; and when He had borne with him until the time He chose, he exalted his head.
And while he had not yet finished this word, the angel of death whose name is Telmyakos came down to him and smote his heart, and he died at that very moment; and he was cast down from the beauty of his estate, and from the abundance of his pride, and from the evil of his deeds, because he did not give thanks to his Creator.
And the hosts of the king of the Chaldeans, while they were outside his city and his camp, desiring to make war upon him—when he died, they came out and laid waste his land and plundered all his cattle, and they left nothing remaining that could be reckoned among the walls.
