18:1

ሚመጠነ፡ ስሕተተ፡ ትስሕቱ፡ አለ፡ ኢተአምኑ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ሙታን፡ ወሶበ፡ ይወስዱክሙ፡ ኀበ፡ ኢተአምሩ፡ ይእተ፡ ጊዜ፡ ትነሥሑ፡ በኀበ፡ ኢይበቍዓክሙ፡ ወአመ፡ ይወድዩክሙ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵነኔ፡ በእንተ፡ ዘኢአመንክሙ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ሙታን፡ በሥጋ፡ ወነፍስ፡ ኅቡረ።

你們這不信死人復活的人哪，你們錯得何等厲害；當他們把你們帶到所不認識之處的時候，當那時你們必懊悔，卻是毫無益處；又當他們因你們不信身體與魂一同復活，就把你們扔在審判中的時候，亦是如此。

How greatly you err, you who do not believe in the resurrection of the dead; and when they bring you to a place you do not know, in that hour you shall repent where it profits you not; and when they cast you into judgment because you did not believe in the resurrection of the dead, in body and soul together.

18:2

ወትትዓሠዩ፡ በከመ፡ ገብርክሙ፡ እመሂ፡ ሠናየ፡ ወእመሂ፡ እኩየ፡ እስመ፡ አሕሰምክሙ፡ ልበ፡ ካልዓኒክሙ፡ እንዘ፡ ትብሉ፡ ንሕነ፡ ነአምን፡ ከመ፡ ኢይትነሥኡ፡ ምውታን፡ እለ፡ ኮኑ፡ ሐመደወ፡ ወመሬት።

你們必照你們所行的，無論是善是惡受報應，因為你們使別人的心憂傷，說：『我們相信那已化為灰塵的死人必不復活。』

And you shall be requited according as you did, whether good or evil, because you grieved the heart of others, saying, 'We believe that the dead, who have become ashes and dust, do not rise.'

18:3

ወበእንተዝ፡ የዓብዱ፡ ቢጾሙ፡ እስመ፡ አልቦ፡ ሳሕት፡ ለሞቶሙ፡ ወኢኀይል፡ ለመቅሠ፡ ፍቶሙ፡ ወበፃማሂ፡ ኢኮኑ፡ ንጉፋነ፡ እስመ፡ ሀለዎሙ፡ ይቁሙ፡ ቅድመ፡ ምኵናኑ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር።

因著這事，他們的同伴大大走差了；因為他們的死亡無從逃避，他們的責罰也無力可抗；他們即使勞苦也得不著釋放，因為他們必要站在主的審判臺前。

And because of this their fellows err greatly; for there is no escape from their death, and no power against their chastisement; nor are they delivered even by their toil, for they are bound to stand before the judgment of the Lord.

18:4

ወይትኃፈሩ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ሶበ፡ ይጌሥጾሙ፡ በመዓቱ፡ ወይትመዓዖሙ፡ በእንተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘገብሩ፡ እኩየ፡ እስመ፡ እንዘ፡ ኢየአምሩ፡ ፍኖተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይትናገሩ፡ እስመ፡ ለሊሆሙ፡ ኢየአምሩ፡ እምኀበ፡ መጽኡ።

當祂在忿怒中責打他們、又因他們所行的一切惡向他們發怒的時候，他們必大大蒙羞；因為他們說話，卻不知道主的道路，因他們自己也不知道自己是從何而來。

And they shall be greatly ashamed when He chastens them in His wrath and is wroth with them because of all the evil they have done; for they speak while they do not know the way of the Lord, for they themselves do not know whence they came.

18:5

ወኢየአምሩ፡ ኀበ፡ የሐውሩ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ነደ፡ እሳት፡ እስመ፡ በከመ፡ ጥውየተ፡ ልቦሙ፡ ይሜህሩ፡ ለቢጾሙ፡ እስመ፡ መራራን፡ እሙንቱ፡ ወጐጻጕጻን፡ በምግባሮሙ፡ ወጸዋጋን፡ ወእለ፡ ይሜህሩ፡ ጠዋየ፡ ነገረ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብሉ፡ አልቦ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ምውታን።

他們也不知道自己往哪裡去，乃是往那火焰的審判裡去；因為他們按著自己心裡的乖僻教導同伴，因他們在所行的事上又苦毒又乖戾又殘忍，並教導歪曲的言語，說『沒有死人復活』。

And they do not know whither they go, into the judgment of the flame of fire; for according to the crookedness of their heart they teach their fellows, for they are bitter and rugged in their deeds and cruel, and they teach perverse words, saying, 'There is no resurrection of the dead.'

18:6

ወይእተ፡ አሚረ፡ የአምሩ፡ ከመ፡ ይትነሥኡ፡ ምውታን፡ ወይትኴነኑ፡ በእንተ፡ ዘኢአምኑ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ሙታን፡ ለኵሉ፡ ፍጥረተ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው።

在那日，他們必知道死人要復活、要受審判，因為他們不信死人復活—因為世人一切受造的都要復活。

And in that day they shall know that the dead rise and are judged, because they did not believe in the resurrection of the dead—for all the creatures of the children of men shall rise.

18:7

እስመ፡ ኵልነ፡ ፍሬ፡ አዳም፡ ወአእንተ፡ አዳም፡ ሞትነ፡ እስመ፡ ለኵልነ፡ በእንተ፡ ስሕተቱ፡ ለአቡነ፡ አዳም፡ ረከበነ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ሞት፡ እምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር።

因為我們眾人都是亞當的果子，又因亞當死了；因為我們眾人，都因我們始祖亞當的過犯，從主那裡遭受了死亡的審判。

For we are all the fruit of Adam, and through Adam we have died; for upon us all, because of the transgression of our father Adam, has come the judgment of death from the Lord.

18:8

ወካዕበ፡ ከመ፡ ንትፈደይ፡ በዘገብርነ፡ ንትነሣእ፡ ምስለ፡ ውእቱ፡ አዳም፡ አቡነ፡ እስመ፡ በኢያምሮ፡ አቡነ፡ አዳም፡ ተቀንየ፡ በዓለም፡ ለሞት።

再者，我們既要照所行的受報應，就要與我們的始祖亞當一同復活；因為由於我們始祖亞當的無知，世界就被奴役在死亡之下。

And again, that we should be requited according to what we have done, we rise together with Adam our father; for through the ignorance of our father Adam, the world was enslaved to death.

18:9

ወበእንተዝ፡ ተፈደይነ፡ በተዓድዎ፡ አዳም፡ ወተመስወት፡ ሥጋነ፡ በውስተ፡ መቃብር፡ ወተቀጥቀጡ፡ አዕፅምትኒ።

因著這事，我們因亞當的過犯受了報應，我們的肉身在墳墓裡朽爛，我們的骸骨也被壓碎。

And because of this we have been requited through the transgression of Adam, and our flesh has decayed in the grave, and our bones also have been crushed.
