16:1

በከመ፡ ምግባሩ፡ ወበከመ፡ ፃማ፡ እዴሁ።

是照他的行為和他手的勞碌。

According to his deeds and according to the labor of his hands.

16:2

ወእም፡ አይቴ፡ ይወፅእ፡ ትብል፡ እሉ፡ ጽፍረ፡ እደዊከ፡ ወእገሪከ፡ ወፀጕረ፡ ርእስከ፡ አኮኑ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀበ፡ ሠርዖሙ፡ ከመ፡ ይፃዑ፡ ከመ፡ ታእምር፡ አንተ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ምውታን፡ ዘይከውን፡ ዘሥጋከ፡ በአኮ፡ በውስተ፡ ሥጋ፡ ባዕደ፡ ከመ፡ ታእምር፡ ለሊከ፡ ከመ፡ ትትነሥእ፡ እምውታን።

你問說：它從何處出來呢？你手腳的指甲和你頭上的頭髮，豈不是主所定要長出來的麼？這是要叫你知道死人復活的事，就是你自己肉身的復活，並非在別人的肉身裡，使你自己曉得你必從死裡復活。

And from whence does it come forth?—you say. These nails of your hands and your feet and the hair of your head, did not the Lord ordain them to grow, that you might know the resurrection of the dead which shall be of your flesh, and not in another's flesh, that you yourself might know that you shall rise from the dead?

16:3

ወትትፈደይ፡ አንተ፡ በከመ፡ ምግባሪከ፡ ዘገብርከ፡ አበሳ፡ ወኃጢአተ፡ አመ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ሙታን፡ በእንተ፡ ዘአስሐትከ፡ ሕዝበ፡ እንዘ፡ ትብል፡ አልቦ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ሙታን።

你必照你所行的—就是你所犯的過犯和罪—在死人復活的時候受報應，因為你曾引誘百姓，說『沒有死人復活』。

And you shall be requited according to your deeds—the transgression and the sin which you did—at the resurrection of the dead, because you led the people astray, saying, 'There is no resurrection of the dead.'

16:4

ወይእዜኒ፡ ትሬእያ፡ አመ፡ ትብጽሐከ፡ ዕለተ፡ ፍዳከ፡ እስመ፡ አንተ፡ ዘዘራዕከ፡ ኢየዓቢ፡ ከመ፡ ይበቍል፡ እመሂ፡ እክል፡ ወእመሂ፡ ሥራናይ።

如今，當你報應之日臨到你的時候，你必看見這事；因為你所撒的種，無論是穀或是麥，必不至不發出來。

And now you shall see it, when the day of your recompense reaches you; for that which you have sown shall not fail to spring up, whether it be grain or wheat.

16:5

ወዓዲ፡ አንተ፡ ዘተከልከ፡ ዕፅ፡ ኢየዓቡ፡ በቍለ፡ እመሂ፡ ዕፀ፡ ወይን፡ ወእመሂ፡ ዕፀ፡ በለስ፡ ኢይትዌለጥ፡ ቍጸሊሁ፡ ወፍሬሁኒ።

並且你所栽的那樹，必不至不長出來；無論是葡萄樹或是無花果樹，它的葉子和果子都必不至消失。

And again, that tree which you planted shall not fail to spring up; whether it be a vine or a fig tree, its leaf and its fruit shall not fail.

16:6

ወእመኒ፡ ተከልከ፡ ወይነ፡ ኢይትዌለጥ፡ ከመ፡ ይኩን፡ በለስ፡ እመኒ፡ ተከልከ፡ በለይስ፡ ኢትዌለጥ፡ ከመ፡ ይኩን፡ ወይነ፡ ወእመኒ፡ ዘራዕከ፡ ሥርናየ፡ ኢይትዌለጥ፡ ከመ፡ ይኩን፡ ሰገመ።

你若栽了葡萄樹，它必不變為無花果；你若栽了無花果，它必不變為葡萄樹；你若撒了麥種，它必不變為大麥。

And if you planted a vine, it shall not be changed to become a fig; if you planted a fig, it shall not be changed to become a vine; and if you sowed wheat, it shall not be changed to become barley.

16:7

ወእመኒ፡ ዘራእከ፡ ሰገመ፡ ኢይትዌለጥ፡ ከመ፡ ይኩን፡ ሥርናየ፡ እለ፡ ኵሉ፡ በዘርኡ፡ ወበበዘመዱ፡ ወበበፍሬሁ፡ ወበዕፁ፡ ወበበቍፅሉ፡ ወበበምርዉ፡ ይትቄበል፡ በረከተ፡ በጠለ፡ ምሕረት፡ ዘእምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወያወፅ፡ ፍሬ።

你若撒了大麥種，它必不變為麥子；因為這一切，各按其種、各按其類、各按其果子、各按其樹、其葉、其生長，藉著那從主而來憐憫的甘露領受祝福，並結出果子來。

And if you sowed barley, it shall not be changed to become wheat; for all these things, according to their seed and according to their kind and according to their fruit and their tree and their leaf and their growth, receive a blessing by the dew of mercy that comes from the Lord, and bring forth fruit.

16:8

ከማሁ፡ ምድርኒ፡ ታወጽኦ፡ በዘዘርአ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ታበቍል፡ ነፍሰ፡ ወሥጋ፡ ገባርያነ፡ ሠናይ፡ እንዘ፡ ኢይትዌለጡ፡ በገባርያነ፡ እኪት፡ ወገባርያነ፡ እኪት፡ እንዘ፡ ኢይትዌለጥ፡ በገባርያነ፡ ሠናይእለ፡ ዘዘርአ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይበቍሉ፡ ነፍስ፡ ወሥጋ።

照樣，大地也必使主所撒的種長出來；它要叫行善之人的魂和身體長出來，他們並不變為行惡的人，行惡的人也不變為行善的人；凡主所撒的種，必要長出來，就是魂和身體。

In the same way, the earth shall bring forth that which the Lord has sown; it shall cause the soul and the body of the doers of good to spring up, while they are not changed into doers of evil, and the doers of evil while they are not changed into doers of good; those whom the Lord has sown shall spring up, soul and body.

16:9

ወእምከመ፡ በጽሐ፡ ጊዜሑ፡ ለንፍሐተ፡ ቀርን፡ ይትነሥኡ፡ ምውታን፡ በጠለ፡ ምሕረት፡ ዘእምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እለ፡ ገብሩ፡ ሠናየ፡ ውስተ፡ ትንሣኤ፡ ሕይወት፡ ወዕሤቶሙ፡ ገነተ፡ ትፍሥሕት፡ ማኀድር፡ ለንጹሐን፡ ዘአስተዳለወ፡ ለኄራን፡ ኀበ፡ አልቦ፡ ደዌ፡ ወሕማም፡ ኀበ፡ ኢይመውቱ፡ እምዝ፡ ደግመ።

當吹號筒的時候到了，死人就要藉著那從主而來憐憫的甘露復活。那些行善的人要復活，得生命的復活，他們的賞賜就是歡樂的樂園，是為潔淨人所預備的居所，是祂為善人所豫備的，在那裡沒有病痛，也沒有疾病，他們此後不再死亡。

And when the time for the blowing of the trumpet has come, the dead shall rise by the dew of mercy that comes from the Lord. Those who did good shall rise to the resurrection of life, and their reward is the garden of joy, a dwelling for the pure, which He prepared for the good, where there is no disease or sickness, where they die no more after this.
