But the poor again take thought upon their bed; and if the rich do not receive them, they become like a dry tree that has no moisture; and where there is no moisture, the root does not sprout, and where there is no root, no shoot sprouts forth.
And if the shoot does not sprout, it bears no fruit; for the shoot serves for the production of fruit, and that which has no fruit has no good deed; for the head of a man is the fruit of righteousness.
And He does not justify the sinner without repentance, because of the evil of his deeds which he has done; for the Lord is righteous and loves righteousness, and shows no partiality to the person of the rich nor of the poor in judgment; for He is the Lord of heaven and earth, and the soul of all is in His hand.
