📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

And he brought me to the doorway of the house; and behold, water was going out from beneath the open court toward the east, for the face of the house looked toward the east; and the water was coming down from the right side, from the south, to the altar.
And he brought me out by the way of the north gate, and led me around the way outside to the gate of the court that looks toward the east; and behold, the water was flowing down from the right side.
As a man goes out opposite, with a measure in his hand; and he measured a thousand by the measure, and he passed through in the water—water of release.
And he measured a thousand, and he passed through in the water—water up to the thighs. And he measured a thousand, and he passed through—water up to the loins.
And he said to me: This water that goes out to Galilee toward the east—and it was going down to Arabia and coming as far as the sea, to the water of the outlet—and it shall heal the waters.
And every living soul of the creatures that teem upon all things, wherever the river comes there, shall live; and there shall be there very many fish, because this water comes there, and it shall heal; and everything shall live upon which the river comes—there it shall live.
And fishermen shall stand there, from Aingadin to Ainagalim; there shall be a drying place for nets; it shall be by itself; and its fish shall be like the fish of the Great Sea, a very great multitude.
And by the river, upon its bank on this side and on that side, there shall come up every tree good for food; it shall not grow old upon it, nor shall its fruit fail; of its newness it shall put forth first fruit, because their waters go out from the holy places; and their fruit shall be for food, and their growth for healing.
Thus says the Lord God: These are the boundaries of the land which you shall inherit for the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel—an addition of a measured allotment.
And you shall inherit it, each as his brother, the land concerning which I lifted up my hand to give it to their fathers; and this land shall fall to you as an inheritance.
And the parts toward the east: between Hauranitis and Damascus, and between Galaaditis and the land of Israel—the Jordan divides them—to the sea that is toward the east of Phoinikon. These are the parts toward the east.
And the parts toward the south and the southwest: from Thaiman and Phoinikon as far as the water of Marimoth Kades, extending to the Great Sea. This is the portion, the south and the southwest.
This portion of the Great Sea forms the boundary as far as opposite the entrance of Hemath, as far as its entrance. These are the parts toward the sea, Hemath.
You shall cast it by lot for yourselves and for the proselytes who sojourn in your midst, who have begotten sons in your midst; and they shall be to you as native-born among the sons of Israel; with you they shall eat in the inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel.
