📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

Upon the mountains of Israel you shall fall, you and all who are about you, and the nations that are with you shall be given to throngs of birds, to every winged creature; and to all the beasts of the plain I have given you to be devoured.
And my holy name shall be made known in the midst of my people Israel, and my holy name shall no longer be profaned; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, holy in Israel.
And those who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go out and make fires with the weapons, with small shields and poles and bows and arrows and hand-staffs and spears; and they shall burn fire with them for seven years.
And they shall not take wood from the plain, nor shall they cut any from the forests, but they shall burn the weapons with fire; and they shall plunder those who plundered them and despoil those who despoiled them, says the Lord.
And it shall be in that day that I will give Gog a place of renown, a burial site in Israel, the burial-place of those who came against it, by the sea; and they shall build a wall around the mouth of the ravine, and they shall bury Gog there and all his multitude; and it shall be called the Gai, the burial-place of Gog.
And they shall continually set apart men who pass through the land to bury those left on the face of the land, to cleanse it; after the seven months they shall also make search.
And everyone passing through the land who sees a human bone shall set up a marker beside it, until the buriers bury it in the Gai, the burial-place of Gog.
And you, son of man, say: Thus says the Lord: Say to every bird, to every winged creature, and to all the beasts of the plain: Gather yourselves and come, gather from all around to my sacrifice, which I have sacrificed for you, a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel; and you shall eat flesh and drink blood.
And all the nations shall know that the house of Israel was taken captive because of their sins, because they set me at naught; and I turned my face away from them and delivered them into the hands of their enemies, and they all fell by the sword.
Therefore thus says the Lord, the Lord: Now I will turn back the captivity of Iakob and have mercy on the house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name.
And they shall bear their own dishonour and the wrong which they did wrongly, when they are settled upon their own land in peace, and there shall be no one to terrify them.
