19:1
ወሶበ፡ በዝኁ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ቃየን፡ ገብሩ፡ ዕንዚራ፡ ወከበሮ፡ ወመሰንቅ፡ ወብዕዛ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ተውኔተ፡ ወዘፈነ።
該隱的子孫繁多的時候，便造了豎琴、鼓、琴與魯特琴，並各樣的嬉戲與舞蹈。
And when the children of Cain multiplied, they made harps and drums and lyres and lutes, and every kind of play and dance.
19:2
ወዓዲ፡ ተወልደ፡ አዋልድ፡ ለቃየን፡ ሠናያት፡ ወላህያት፡ እምብእሲተ፡ አቤል፡ ጻድቅ፡ ዘቀተሎ፡ በእንቲአሃ፡ እስመ፡ ላህይት፡ ይእቲ፡ ወእምድኅረ፡ ቀተሎ፡ ለአኁሁ፡ ነሥአ፡ ኪያሃ፡ ወእንታክትኒ፡ እንቲአሁ።
該隱又從義人亞伯的妻子生了俊美佳麗的女兒，他原是為那婦人的緣故殺了亞伯，因為她生得美麗；他殺了弟兄之後，就娶了她，她也歸了他。
And further there were born to Cain daughters fair and comely, from the wife of Abel the righteous, whom he slew on her account, because she was comely; and after he had slain his brother, he took her, and she also was his.
19:3
ወተግኀሠ፡ እምአቡሁ፡ ነሢኦ፡ ኪያሆን፡ ውስተ፡ ቈላአ፡ ቄፋዝ፡ መንገለ፡ ዓረብ፡ ወደቂቃ፡ ለይእቲ፡ ላህይት፡ እለ፡ ኮና፡ ልሁያተ፡ ከመ፡ አሞን።
他便帶著她們離開他的父親，到了靠近亞拉伯的奇法斯山谷；那美麗婦人的女兒們也像她們的母親一樣美麗。
And he separated himself from his father, taking them to the valley of Qefaz toward Arabia; and the daughters of that comely woman, who were comely as their mother;
19:4
ወበእተዝኪ፡ ወረዱ፡ መላእክት፡ ኀበ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ቃየን፡ ወኢቆሙ፡ አሐተ፡ ሰዓተ፡ ወነሥኡ፡ አንስትያ፡ ለርእሶሙ፡ ዘኃረዩ።
因這緣故，眾守望天使下到該隱的子孫那裡，連一刻也站立不住，就為自己娶了所揀選的妻子。
and on account of this the angels came down to the children of Cain, and did not stand fast for a single hour, but took to themselves wives whom they chose.
19:5
ወበእንተዝ፡ ተዓምነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለነሂ፡ ወሎሙሂ፡ እስመ፡ ኅቡረ፡ ተማልዑነ፡ ውስተ፡ ስሒት፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ በእንተ፡ ስሕተቶሙ።
因這緣故，主向我們、也向他們發怒，因為他們因自己的過錯，把我們也一同拖入謬妄之中。
And on account of this the Lord was provoked, both with us and with them, for together they drew us into error with them, because of their error.
19:6
ወዲያብሎስሂ፡ ተማልዖሙ፡ ለአቡነ፡ አዳም፡ ወለእምነ፡ ሔዋን፡ ውስተ፡ ስሕተተ፡ ዚአሁ፡ እንዘ፡ ይየውሆሙ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ትከውኑ፡ አማልክተ፡ ከመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ፈጣሪክሙ።
魔鬼也曾把我們的祖宗亞當與我們的母親夏娃拖入牠的謬妄裡，誘惑他們說：「你們要成為神，像造你們的主一樣。」
And the devil drew our father Adam and our mother Eve into his error, beguiling them and saying to them, You shall become gods like the Lord your Maker.
19:7
ወእሙንቱሰ፡ በዕበደሙ፡ መሰሎሙ፡ አማነ፡ ወተዓደዉ፡ ትእዛዘ፡ ፈጣሪሆሙ፡ ዘአም፡ ጽኦሙ፡ እምኀበ፡ አልቦ፡ ውስተ፡ ሀለዎ፡ ከመ፡ ይሰግዱ፡ ወይሰብሑ፡ ለስሙ፡ ቅዱስ።
他們愚昧，以為是真的，便干犯了造他們之主的誡命，主原是從無有中領他們進入存有，要他們向他叩拜、讚美他的聖名。
And they, in their folly, thought it was true, and transgressed the commandment of their Maker, who had brought them out of nothingness into being, that they should bow down and praise His holy name.
19:8
ወለእሙንቱሰ፡ እለ፡ ረሰዩ፡ ሀብተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለርእሶሙ፡ ውእቶሙ፡ እግዚኦሙ፡ አኅሠሮሙ፡ ወለውእቱኒ፡ ዕቡይ።
至於那些把主的恩賜據為己有的人，主他們的神就使他們蒙羞，連那狂傲的也是如此。
And as for those who made the gift of the Lord their own, the Lord their God put them to shame, even that proud one.
19:9
በከመ፡ ይቤ፡ ዳዊት፡ በትዕቢቱ፡ ለኃጥእ፡ ይውዒ፡ ነዳይ፡ እስመ፡ በትዕቢቱ፡ ለዲያብሎስ፡ ተኰነነ፡ አዳም፡ በኵነኔ፡ ጽድቅ፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላኩ።
正如大衛所說：「惡人在驕傲中焚燒困苦的人。」因為亞當是因魔鬼的驕傲，在主他神面前受了公義的審判。
Even as David said, In the pride of the wicked the poor is consumed; for in the pride of the devil Adam was condemned by a righteous judgment before the Lord his God.
19:10
ወከማሁ፡ መላእክትኒ፡ እለ፡ ስሕቱ፡ ኀበ፡ አዋልደ፡ ቃየል፡ ተማልዑነ፡ ውስተ፡ ስሕተቶሙ፡ ወበእንተዝ፡ ሐፀ፡ መዋዕሊነ፡ እመዋዕለ፡ አበዊነ፡ ዘወሀበነ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
照樣，那些與該隱女兒犯罪的天使，也把我們拖入他們的謬妄裡；因這緣故，我們的壽數從主所賜我們列祖的日子縮短了。
And likewise the angels too, who sinned with the daughters of Cain, drew us into their error; and on account of this our days were shortened from the days of our fathers which the Lord had given us.
19:11
ወእሙንቱሰ፡ ገብሩ፡ ሠናየ፡ ወአልቦ፡ እንተ፡ ኀበ፡ ይቀርቦሙ፡ እኩይ፡ እስመ፡ አፅንዑ፡ ልቦሙ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወይሜህሩ፡ ውሉዶሙ፡ ወአዋልዲሆሙ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይት፡ ገሃሡ፡ እምትእዛዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘመሐርዎሙ።
惟有那些行善的人，沒有惡臨近他們，因為他們堅定己心歸向主；他們又教導自己的兒女，叫他們不致干犯所教給他們之主的誡命。
But those who did good, no evil came near them, for they strengthened their hearts toward the Lord; and they taught their sons and their daughters, that they should not transgress the commandment of the Lord which they had taught them.
19:12
ወለሊሆሙሰ፡ ለእመ፡ ገብሩ፡ ወኢነግሩ፡ ለደቂቆሙ፡ ወኢመሐርዎሙ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይበቍዖሙ።
至於他們，若行了善，卻不告訴自己的兒女、不教導他們，那對他們也是毫無益處的。
But as for them, if they had done good and yet not told their children and not taught them, it would have profited them nothing.
19:13
በከመ፡ ይቤ፡ ዳዊይ፡ ወኢኃብኡ፡ እምደቂቆሙ፡ ለካልዕ፡ ትውልድ፡ ወነገሩ፡ ስብሐቲሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ኃይሎሂ፡ ወመንክሮሂ፡ ዘገብረ፡ በከመ፡ ለበዉ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ከመ፡ ይምሀሩ፡ ለደቂቆሙ፡ ከመ፡ ይለብዉ፡ ወይግበሩ፡ ወያማኅፅንዎሙ፡ ኩነኔሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወከመ፡ ይዕቅቡ፡ ትእዛዞ፡ ከመ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ እለ፡ አሥመርዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ በሥነ፡ ምግባሮሙ።
正如大衛所說：「他們並不向自己的兒女隱瞞，傳給後代，乃將主的讚美、他的能力與他所行的奇事，都述說出來。」好叫他們也明白，教導自己的兒女，使他們明白、遵行，並把主的審判託付給他們，叫他們遵守他的誡命，像他們的列祖一樣，那些列祖以美好的行為討主喜悅。
Even as David said, And they did not hide from their children, to another generation, but declared the praise of the Lord, His power also and the wonders He had wrought; that they too should understand and teach their children, that they might understand and do, and entrust to them the judgment of the Lord, and keep His commandment, like their fathers who pleased the Lord by the goodness of their deeds.
19:14
ወኢኃደጉ፡ ትእዛዞ፡ ዘአመኅፀንዎሙ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ አመ፡ ንዕሶሙ፡ ፈሪሃ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኵነኔሁ፡ በከመ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ተምህሩ፡ በኀበ፡ አበዊሆሙ።
他們不離棄他們的列祖在幼年時託付他們的誡命，就是敬畏主與他的審判，正如他們自己從列祖所受的教導一樣。
And they did not forsake His commandment which their fathers entrusted to them in their youth, the fear of the Lord and His judgment, even as they themselves were taught by their fathers.
19:15
ወውሉዶሙኒ፡ ተምህሩ፡ በኀበ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ ከመ፡ ያሠንዩ፡ ግዕዞሙ፡ ወየሐዑ፡ ስብሐት፡ ለፈጣሪሆሙ፡ እስመ፡ ዓቀቡ፡ ትእዛዞ፡ ወአፍቀርዎ።
他們的兒子也受了列祖的教導，要修正自己的品行，將讚美歸與造他們的主，因為他們遵守了他的誡命、又愛了他。
And their sons too were taught by their fathers, that they should make their conduct good and render praise to their Maker, because they kept His commandment and loved Him.
19:16
ውእቱኒ፡ ይሰምዖሙ፡ ጸሎቶሙ፡ ወኢይትሔየይ፡ ለእለቶሙ፡ ወውእቱሰ፡ መሐሪ፡ ውእቱ።
他便垂聽他們的禱告，不藐視他們的祈求，因為他是有憐憫的。
And He hears their prayer and does not despise their petition, for He is merciful.
19:17
በያበዝኅ፡ መይጠ፡ መዓቱ፡ ወኢያነድድ፡ በኵሉ፡ መቅሠፍቱ።
他屢次轉消他的忿怒，並不發盡他一切的刑罰。
He often turns away His wrath and does not kindle all His chastisement.
