Woe to their souls in the day I lay hold of them in My wrath, says the Lord who rules over all; for their way is perverse, and all who walk in the way of Satan the seducer.
And I too will requite them according to the evil of their deeds; in the latter day, in the day of judgment, I will avenge Myself upon them, even as the evil of their deeds is written before Me; and they shall not escape out of My hand, for I am the Lord who kills and makes alive, who smites and shows mercy.
And there is none that escapes out of My hand, neither beneath the earth nor above the heavens, nor in the sea and the deep waters; for I am the Lord, from one end to the other ends of the world, and the soul of all is in My hand.
The serpent I command beneath the earth, and the fish in the sea, and the birds in the air, and the lizard in the wilderness, from one end to the other, and even to the ends of the world; for all are Mine.
And there is none that escapes out of My hand, in the heaven above nor in the earth beneath; for I am He who works, and stillness and wonders are before My eyes, and there is none that says to Me, Where do You go and what do You do?
And I command over the angels and the chiefs, and every name that is named is Mine; and all the birds of heaven and the beasts of the wilderness and the cattle are Mine.
And the south wind rises up, and the burning heat of the north, and the Red Sea resounds at the greatness of the majesty of Him who comes to it in the latter days.
For He shall judge the living and the dead, together with Noba and Saba and Ethiopia and India, and all the regions round about them and their borders.
And He shall behold all things in meekness, with the staff that is in His hand, and shall watch over His sheep with the staff; for His staff is exalted above all staves.
And His horn is heavier than all horns, and His kingdom is exalted above all kingdoms, and His authority holds all the world, who is able to do all, and there is none that overcomes Him.
And He feeds all according as He pleases, each after its kind and its fruit and its food, all that He created, for the worm and for the creeping things beneath the earth, and for the wild beasts and the cattle upon the earth; He who grants his prayer to him who prays, and does not despise the petition of the helpless women and the orphans.
And all the more does He receive the prayer of the pure who pray to Him at all times; for the assembly of the wicked is like a whirlwind, and the gathering of the unrighteous is like the fleeting cloud.
And their joy is like the flying bird, and the comeliness of their appearance passes away, both their gold and their silver upon the earth; and their gold does not profit them, but it is a snare to the wicked, and the wealth of their garments is consumed by the moth.
And the storehouses of grain and of treasure are consumed by the worm and by the moth; and all passes away like the day of yesterday that has gone by; and as that which is sent forth from the mouth as a word does not return, even so the wealth of sinners; and like the shadow that passes away, even so is the comeliness of their estate; and like a worn-out garment, even so is the wealth of sinners before the Lord.
But as for the righteous, even if they have wealth, the Lord does not despise them; for while they teach that wealth is poverty, and uphold the cause of the orphan and the needy, and clothe the naked out of their garments, and do not despise to give of the produce of their house which the Lord gave them, to the stranger and to the needy;
and they do not pervert the judgment of the faithful, and do not refuse the wage to the hireling, and do not work iniquity in the reckoning of their months nor in the measure of their balances; for righteousness and the honoured word of the Lord is to them like food.
