27:1
χάριν διαφόρου πολλοὶ ἥμαρτον καὶ ὁ ζητῶν πληθῦναι ἀποστρέψει ὀφθαλμόν
許多人為財利犯罪,貪圖多得的人必轉眼不顧公義。
Many have sinned for a thing indifferent; And he that seeks to multiply gain will turn his eye away.
27:2
ἀνὰ μέσον ἁρμῶν λίθων παγήσεται πάσσαλος καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πράσεως καὶ ἀγορασμοῦ συντριβήσεται ἁμαρτία
釘子緊插在石頭的縫隙之間,照樣,罪也夾在買賣之間。
A nail will stick fast between the joinings of stones; And sin will thrust itself in between buying and selling.
27:3
ἐὰν μὴ ἐν φόβῳ κυρίου κρατήσῃ κατὰ σπουδήν ἐν τάχει καταστραφήσεται αὐτοῦ ὁ οἶκος
人若不殷勤持守敬畏主的心,他的家必迅速傾覆。
Unless a man hold on diligently in the fear of the Lord, His house will soon be overthrown.
27:4
ἐν σείσματι κοσκίνου διαμένει κοπρία οὕτως σκύβαλα ἀνθρώπου ἐν λογισμῷ αὐτοῦ
篩子搖動時,糠秕便留下;照樣,人的污穢也在他的言談中顯露。
In the shaking of a sieve, the refuse remains; So the filth of man in his reasoning.
27:5
σκεύη κεραμέως δοκιμάζει κάμινος καὶ πειρασμὸς ἀνθρώπου ἐν διαλογισμῷ αὐτοῦ
窯爐試驗陶匠的器皿,言談也試驗人。
The furnace will prove the potter’s vessels; And the trial of a man is in his reasoning.
27:6
γεώργιον ξύλου ἐκφαίνει ὁ καρπὸς αὐτοῦ οὕτως λόγος ἐνθυμήματος καρδίας ἀνθρώπου
樹上的果子顯明栽種的工夫,人心中所思想的也藉言語顯露。
The fruit of a tree declares the husbandry thereof; So is the utterance of the thought of the heart of a man.
27:7
πρὸ λογισμοῦ μὴ ἐπαινέσῃς ἄνδρα οὗτος γὰρ πειρασμὸς ἀνθρώπων
未聽人言談之前,不要稱讚他,因為這正是試驗人的方法。
Praise no man before you hear him reason; For this is the trial of men.
27:8
ἐὰν διώκῃς τὸ δίκαιον καταλήμψῃ καὶ ἐνδύσῃ αὐτὸ ὡς ποδήρη δόξης
你若追求公義,必能得著她,並將她如榮耀的長袍穿上。
If you follow righteousness, you will obtain her, And put her on, as a long robe of glory.
27:9
πετεινὰ πρὸς τὰ ὅμοια αὐτοῖς καταλύσει καὶ ἀλήθεια πρὸς τοὺς ἐργαζομένους αὐτὴν ἐπανήξει
飛鳥棲於同類之中,真理也歸向實行它的人。
Birds will resort to their like; And truth will return to those who practise her.
27:10
λέων θήραν ἐνεδρεύει οὕτως ἁμαρτία ἐργαζομένους ἄδικα
獅子埋伏等候獵物,照樣,罪也埋伏等候作惡的人。
The lion lies in wait for prey; So does sin for those who work iniquity.
27:11
διήγησις εὐσεβοῦς διὰ παντὸς σοφία ὁ δὲ ἄφρων ὡς σελήνη ἀλλοιοῦται
敬虔人的言談常是智慧,愚人卻如月亮般變幻不定。
The discourse of a godly man is always wisdom: But the foolish man changes as the moon.
27:12
εἰς μέσον ἀσυνέτων συντήρησον καιρόν εἰς μέσον δὲ διανοουμένων ἐνδελέχιζε
在無見識的人中間,要留心把握時機;在思慮周詳的人中間,卻要常常逗留。
Among men void of understanding observe the opportunity; But stay continually among the thoughtful.
27:13
διήγησις μωρῶν προσόχθισμα καὶ ὁ γέλως αὐτῶν ἐν σπατάλῃ ἁμαρτίας
愚人的言談令人生厭,他們的嬉笑出於放縱的罪。
The discourse of fools is an offence; And their laughter is in the wantonness of sin.
27:14
λαλιὰ πολυόρκου ἀνορθώσει τρίχας καὶ ἡ μάχη αὐτῶν ἐμφραγμὸς ὠτίων
好起誓之人的言語使人毛髮直豎,他們的爭鬧使人塞耳不聽。
The talk of a man of many oaths will make the hair stand upright; And their strife makes one stop his ears.
27:15
ἔκχυσις αἵματος μάχη ὑπερηφάνων καὶ ἡ διαλοιδόρησις αὐτῶν ἀκοὴ μοχθηρά
驕傲人的爭鬥導致流血,他們彼此的辱罵令人不堪入耳。
The strife of the proud is a shedding of blood; And their reviling of each other is a grievous thing to hear.
27:16
ὁ ἀποκαλύπτων μυστήρια ἀπώλεσεν πίστιν καὶ οὐ μὴ εὕρῃ φίλον πρὸς τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ
洩露祕密的人毀了信任,必尋不著合他心意的朋友。
He that reveals secrets destroys credit, And will not find a friend to his mind.
27:17
στέρξον φίλον καὶ πιστώθητι μετ’ αὐτοῦ ἐὰν δὲ ἀποκαλύψῃς τὰ μυστήρια αὐτοῦ μὴ καταδιώξῃς ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ
要愛護朋友,向他守信;你若洩露了他的祕密,就不要再追隨他。
Love a friend, and keep faith with him: But if you reveal his secrets, You shall not pursue after him;
27:18
καθὼς γὰρ ἀπώλεσεν ἄνθρωπος τὸν νεκρὸν αὐτοῦ οὕτως ἀπώλεσας τὴν φιλίαν τοῦ πλησίον
正如人喪失了死去的親人,你也照樣喪失了與鄰舍的友誼。
For as a man has destroyed his enemy, So have you destroyed the friendship of your neighbor.
27:19
καὶ ὡς πετεινὸν ἐκ χειρός σου ἀπέλυσας οὕτως ἀφῆκας τὸν πλησίον καὶ οὐ θηρεύσεις αὐτόν
又如你放走了手中的飛鳥,你也照樣放走了鄰舍,再也捉不回他。
And as a bird which you have loosed out of your hand, So have you let your neighbor go, and you will not catch him again:
27:20
μὴ αὐτὸν διώξῃς ὅτι μακρὰν ἀπέστη καὶ ἐξέφυγεν ὡς δορκὰς ἐκ παγίδος
不要追趕他,因為他已遠去,如同羚羊脫離了網羅。
Pursue him not, for he is gone far away, And has escaped as a gazelle out of the snare.
27:21
ὅτι τραῦμα ἔστιν καταδῆσαι καὶ λοιδορίας ἔστιν διαλλαγή ὁ δὲ ἀποκαλύψας μυστήρια ἀφήλπισεν
因為傷口可以包紮,辱罵之後仍有復和;惟有洩露祕密的人,已經斷絕了指望。
For a wound may be bound up, and after reviling there may be a reconcilement; But he that reveals secrets has lost hope.
27:22
διανεύων ὀφθαλμῷ τεκταίνει κακά καὶ οὐδεὶς αὐτὰ ἀποστήσει ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ
以眼示意的人謀劃惡事,無人能使他停止。
One that winks with the eye contriveth evil things; And no man will remove him from it.
27:23
ἀπέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν σου γλυκανεῖ τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν λόγων σου ἐκθαυμάσει ὕστερον δὲ διαστρέψει τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τοῖς λόγοις σου δώσει σκάνδαλον
當你在場時,他口出甜言,並讚賞你的話語;後來卻扭曲他的口,並在你的言語上設下絆腳石。
When you are present, he will speak sweetly, And will admire your words; But afterward he will writhe his mouth, And set a trap for you in your words.
27:24
πολλὰ ἐμίσησα καὶ οὐχ ὡμοίωσα αὐτῷ καὶ ὁ κύριος μισήσει αὐτόν
我憎惡許多事,卻沒有一樣像憎惡他;主也必憎惡他。
I have hated many things, but nothing like him; And the Lord will hate him.
27:25
ὁ βάλλων λίθον εἰς ὕψος ἐπὶ κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ βάλλει καὶ πληγὴ δολία διελεῖ τραύματα
向高處扔石頭的,是扔在自己頭上;詭詐的擊打必裂開傷口。
One that casts a stone on high casts it on his own head; And a deceitful stroke will open wounds.
27:26
ὁ ὀρύσσων βόθρον εἰς αὐτὸν ἐμπεσεῖται καὶ ὁ ἱστῶν παγίδα ἐν αὐτῇ ἁλώσεται
挖坑的,自己必掉在其中;設網羅的,自己必被纏住。
He that digs a pit will fall into it; And he that sets a snare will be taken therein.
27:27
ὁ ποιῶν πονηρά εἰς αὐτὸν κυλισθήσεται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐπιγνῷ πόθεν ἥκει αὐτῷ
行惡事的,惡事必滾回到他身上,他卻不知道是從何而來。
He that does evil things, they will roll upon him, And he will not know whence they have come to him.
27:28
ἐμπαιγμὸς καὶ ὀνειδισμὸς ὑπερηφάνῳ καὶ ἡ ἐκδίκησις ὡς λέων ἐνεδρεύσει αὐτόν
譏誚與辱罵出自狂傲的人,報應卻如獅子埋伏等候他。
Mockery and reproach are from the haughty; And vengeance, as a lion, will lie in wait for him.
27:29
παγίδι ἁλώσονται οἱ εὐφραινόμενοι πτώσει εὐσεβῶν καὶ ὀδύνη καταναλώσει αὐτοὺς πρὸ τοῦ θανάτου αὐτῶν
那因敬虔人傾倒而歡喜的人必落在網羅中,痛苦必在他們死前吞滅他們。
They that rejoice at the fall of the godly will be taken in a snare; And anguish will consume them before they die.
27:30
μῆνις καὶ ὀργή καὶ ταῦτά ἐστιν βδελύγματα καὶ ἀνὴρ ἁμαρτωλὸς ἐγκρατὴς ἔσται αὐτῶν
惱恨與忿怒也都是可憎的,罪人卻被它們所轄制。
Wrath and anger, these also are abominations; And a sinful man will possess them.
