1:1
ቀዳሚ ጸሐፍኩ ለከ መጽሐፈ ኦ! ታኦፊላ በኵሉ ግብር ዘአኀዘ እግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ይግበር ወይምሀር።
提阿非羅啊，我已經作了前書，論到耶穌開頭一切所行所教訓的，
The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach,
1:2
እስከ ዕለት እንተ ባቲ ዐርገ አዚዞ ለሐዋርያቲሁ ለእለ ኀረዮሙ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ።
直到他藉着聖靈吩咐所揀選的使徒，以後被接上升的日子為止。
until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.
1:3
እሉ እሙንቱ እለ አርአዮሙ ወከሠተ ሎሙ ርእሶ ሕያወ እምድኅረ ሞተ በተኣምር ብዙኅ በአርብዓ ዕለት እንዘ ያስተርእዮሙ ወይዜንዎሙ ወይነግሮሙ በእንተ መንግሥተ እግዚአብሔር።
他受害之後，用許多的憑據將自己活活地顯給使徒看，四十天之久向他們顯現，講說上帝國的事。
To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about God’s Kingdom.
1:4
ወእንዘ ይመስሕ ምስሌሆሙ አዘዞሙ ኢይፃኡ እምኢየሩሳሌም አላ ይጽንሑ ተስፋሁ ለአብ።
耶穌和他們聚集的時候，囑咐他們說：「不要離開耶路撒冷，要等候父所應許的，就是你們聽見我說過的。
Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.
1:5
ወይቤሎሙ ዮሐንስ አጥመቀ በማይ አንትሙሰ ታጠምቁ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ እስከ መዋዕል ዘኢኮነ ርኁቀ።
約翰是用水施洗，但不多幾日，你們要受聖靈的洗。」
For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
1:6
ወእንዘ ጉቡኣን እሙንቱ ተስእልዎ ወይቤልዎ እግዚኦ በዝኑ መዋዕል ታገብእ መንግሥተ ለደቂቀ እስራኤል።
他們聚集的時候，問耶穌說：「主啊，你復興以色列國就在這時候嗎？」
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
1:7
ወአውሥኦሙ ወይቤሎሙ ኢኮነ ለክሙ ታእምሩ መዋዕለ ወአዝማነ ዘሠርዐ አብ በምኵናኑ ባሕቲቱ።
耶穌對他們說：「父憑着自己的權柄所定的時候、日期，不是你們可以知道的。
He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.
1:8
አላ ሶበ ይወርድ ላዕሌክሙ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ትነሥኡ ኀይለ ወትከውኑኒ ሰማዕትየ በኢየሩሳሌም ወበኵሉ ይሁዳ ወሰማርያ ወእስከ አጽናፈ ምድር።
但聖靈降臨在你們身上，你們就必得着能力，並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地，和撒馬利亞，直到地極，作我的見證。」
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
1:9
ወዘንተ እንዘ ይብሎሙ ተለዐለ ወነሥአቶ ደመና ወዐርገ ሰማየ እንዘ እሙንቱ ይኔጽሩ ኀቤሁ ወተሰወረ እምአዕይንቲሆሙ።
說了這話，他們正看的時候，他就被取上升，有一朵雲彩把他接去，便看不見他了。
When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
1:10
ወአስተርአይዎሙ ክልኤቱ ዕደው ወቆሙ ኀቤሆሙ ወይለብሱ ጸዐዳ።
當他往上去，他們定睛望天的時候，忽然有兩個人身穿白衣，站在旁邊，說：
While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing,
1:11
ወይቤልዎሙ አንትሙ ሰብአ ገሊላ ምንትኑ ቆምክሙ ትርአዩ ሰማየ ዝ ውእቱ ኢየሱስ ዘዐርገ እምኀቤክሙ ውስተ ሰማይ ወከማሁ ካዕበ ይመጽእ በከመ ርኢክምዎ የዐርግ ሰማየ።
「加利利人哪，你們為甚麼站着望天呢？這離開你們被接升天的耶穌，你們見他怎樣往天上去，他還要怎樣來。」
who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”
1:12
ወእምዝ ተሠውጡ ኢየሩሳሌም እምደብረ ዘይት ዘእቱት እምኢየሩሳሌም መጠነ ምርዋጸ ብእሲ እንተ ይእቲ መንገደ ቀዳም።
有一座山，名叫橄欖山，離耶路撒冷不遠，約有安息日可走的路程。當下，門徒從那裏回耶路撒冷去，
Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.
1:13
ወበጺሖሙ ማኅደሮሙ ኀበ ይነብሩ ጽርሐ ዐርጉ ጴጥሮስ ወዮሐንስ ወያዕቆብ ወእንድርያስ ወፊልጶስ ወቶማስ ወማቴዎስ ወበርተሎሜዎስ ወያዕቆብ ወልደ እልፍዮስ ወስምዖን ቀናኢ ወይሁዳ ወልደ ዮሴፍ።
進了城，就上了所住的一間樓房；在那裏有彼得、約翰、雅各、安得烈、腓力、多馬、巴多羅買、馬太、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、奮銳黨的西門，和雅各的兒子 猶大。
When they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were staying, that is Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.
1:14
እሉ ኵሎሙ ይፀመዱ ጸሎተ ኅቡረ ምስለ አንስት ወማርያም እሙ ለኢየሱስ ወአኀዊሁኒ።
這些人同着幾個婦人和耶穌的母親馬利亞，並耶穌的弟兄，都同心合意地恆切禱告。
All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
1:15
ወውእተ አሚረ ተንሥአ ጴጥሮስ ወቆመ ማእከለ አኀዊሁ ወይቤሎሙ እንዘ ሀለዉ ህየ ሰብእ ወየአክሉ ምእተ ወዕሥራ።
那時，有許多人聚會，約有一百二十名，彼得就在弟兄中間站起來，
In these days, Peter stood up in the middle of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,
1:16
ስምዑ ኦ አኀዊነ አማን ሀለዎ ይብጻሕ ቃለ መጽሐፍ ዘይቤ መንፈስ ቅዱስ በአፈ ዳዊት በእንተ ይሁዳ ዘውእቱ ኮኖሙ መርሐ ለእለ አኀዝዎ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ።
說：「弟兄們！聖靈藉大衛的口，在聖經上預言領人捉拿耶穌的猶大，這話是必須應驗的。
“Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to those who took Jesus.
1:17
እንዘ ኊሉቍ ውእቱ ምስሌነ ወከፈሎ ዘንተ መልእክተ።
他本來列在我們數中，並且在使徒的職任上得了一分。
For he was counted with us, and received his portion in this ministry.
1:18
ወእምዝ ተሣየጠ ዐጸደ በዐስበ ዐመፃሁ ወተነጽሐ ላዕለ ምድር በገጹ ወተሠጥቀ ገቦሁ ወተክዕወ ኵሉ አማዑቲሁ።
這人用他作惡的工價買了一塊田，以後身子仆倒，肚腹崩裂，腸子都流出來。
Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness; and falling headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines gushed out.
1:19
ወተሰምዐ ነገሩ በኀበ ኵሎሙ እለ ይነብሩ በኢየሩሳሌም ወተሰምየ ዐጸዱ ዘተሣየጠ በዐስቡ ሰመይዎ በነገሮሙ አኬልዳማ ገራህተ ደም ብሂል።
住在耶路撒冷的眾人都知道這事，所以按着他們那裏的話給那塊田起名叫亞革大馬，就是「血田」的意思。
It became known to everyone who lived in Jerusalem that in their language that field was called ‘Akeldama,’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’
1:20
በከመ ይቤ መጽሐፈ መዝሙር «ለትኩን ሀገሩ በድወ ወአልቦ ዘይነብር ውስቴታ ወሢመቶሂ ይንሣእ ባዕድ።»
因為詩篇上寫着，說： 願他的住處變為荒場， 無人在內居住； 又說： 願別人得他的職分。
For it is written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation be made desolate. Let no one dwell in it;’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’
1:21
ወይደሉ ለአሐዱ እምእሉ ዕደው እለ ነበሩ ምስሌነ ዘንተ ኵሎ መዋዕለ በዘቦአ ወወፅአ በኀቤነ እግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ።
所以，主耶穌在我們中間始終出入的時候，
“Of the men therefore who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
1:22
እኂዞ እምጥምቀተ ዮሐንስ እስከ አመ ዐርገ እምኀቤነ ከመ ይኩን ውእቱ ምስሌነ ስምዐ ተንሥኦቱ።
就是從約翰施洗起，直到主離開我們被接上升的日子為止，必須從那常與我們作伴的人中立一位與我們同作耶穌復活的見證。」
beginning from the baptism of John to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”
1:23
ወአቀሙ ክልኤተ ዮሴፍሃ ዘተሰምየ በርናባስ ዘይብልዎ ኢዮስጦስ ወማትያስሃ።
於是選舉兩個人，就是那叫做巴撒巴，又稱呼猶士都的約瑟，和馬提亞。
They put forward two: Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also called Justus, and Matthias.
1:24
ወጸለዩ ወይቤሉ አንተ እግዚኦ ማእምረ ኵሉ ልብ አርኢ አሐደ እምእሉ ክልኤቱ ዘኀረይከ።
眾人就禱告說：「主啊，你知道萬人的心，求你從這兩個人中，指明你所揀選的是誰，叫他得這使徒的位分。這位分猶大已經丟棄，往自己的地方去了。」
They prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two you have chosen
1:25
ዘይነሥኣ ለመልእክተ ዛቲ ሢመተ ሐዋርያት ዘኀደጋ ይሁዳ ይሑር ብሔሮ።
眾人就禱告說：「主啊，你知道萬人的心，求你從這兩個人中，指明你所揀選的是誰，叫他得這使徒的位分。這位分猶大已經丟棄，往自己的地方去了。」
to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.”
1:26
ወአስተዓፀውዎሙ ወበጽሐ ዕፃ ዲበ ማትያስ ወተኈለቈ ምስለ ዐሠርቱ ወአሐዱ ሐዋርያት።
於是眾人為他們搖籤，搖出馬提亞來；他就和十一個使徒同列。
They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias; and he was counted with the eleven apostles.
