24:1
ወአመ ኀሙስ ዕለት ወረደ ሐናንያ ሊቀ ካህናት ምስለ ረበናት ወአሐዱ ዐቃቤ ነቢብ ዘስሙ ጠርጠሉስ ወአስተዋደይዎ ለጳውሎስ ኀበ መልአክ።
過了五天，大祭司亞拿尼亞同幾個長老，和一個辯士帖土羅下來，向巡撫控告保羅。
After five days, the high priest, Ananias, came down with certain elders and an orator, one Tertullus. They informed the governor against Paul.
24:2
ወአቅረበ ሎሙ ወአኀዘ ይንግር ጠርጠሉስ ወይቤ።
保羅被提了來，帖土羅就告他說：
When he was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, “Seeing that by you we enjoy much peace, and that prosperity is coming to this nation by your foresight,
24:3
ብዙኀ ሰላመ አድማዕነ በመዋዕሊከ ወሠናየ ኮነ ንብረቶሙ ለሕዝብ በጥበብከ በኵሉ ወበኵለሄ ወረከብነ ሥርዐተከ እንዘ ትትአኰት በኀበ ኵሉ ኦ ፊልክስ ክቡር።
「腓力斯大人，我們因你得以大享太平，並且這一國的弊病，因着你的先見得以更正了；我們隨時隨地滿心感謝不盡。
we accept it in all ways and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.
24:4
ወባሕቱ ከመ ኢያጽሕብከ ፈድፋደ አጽምዐኒ ወብቍዐኒ ኅጹረ ነገረ እንግርከ።
惟恐多說，你嫌煩絮，只求你寬容聽我們說幾句話。
But that I don’t delay you, I entreat you to bear with us and hear a few words.
24:5
ረከብናሁ ለዝ ብእሲ ይነብብ ፅርፈተ ወይገብር ማዕሌተ ወየሀውክ ኵሎ አይሁደ በኵሉ በሐውርት ወይሜህር ካሕደ ዘሕዝበ ናዝራውያን።
我們看這個人，如同瘟疫一般，是鼓動普天下眾猶太人生亂的，又是拿撒勒教黨裏的一個頭目，
For we have found this man to be a plague, an instigator of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.
24:6
ወአርኰሰ ቤተ መቅደስ ወአኀዝናሁ ወፈቀድነ ኰንኖቶ በከመ ሕግነ።
連聖殿他也想要污穢；我們把他捉住了。
He even tried to profane the temple, and we arrested him.
24:7
ወመጽአ ሉስዮስ መልአክ ወአድኀኖ እምእደዊነ በብዙኅ ግብር ወፈነዎ ኀቤከ።

ወአዘዞሙ ለእለ ይትዋቀሥዎ ይምጽኡ ኀቤከ ወዘኒ አስተዋደይናሁ ኵሎ ሀለወከ ታእምር እምኀቤሁ ሐቲተከ ከመ አማን ውእቱ።
你自己究問他，就可以知道我們告他的一切事了。」
By examining him yourself you may ascertain all these things of which we accuse him.”
24:9
ወተሰጥዉ አይሁድ ወይቤሉ አማን ከመዝ ውእቱ።
眾猶太人也隨着告他說：「事情誠然是這樣。」
The Jews also joined in the attack, affirming that these things were so.
24:10
ወቀጸቦ መልአክ ለጳውሎስ ከመ ይትናገር ወይቤ ጳውሎስ አነ አአምር ከመ እምብዙኅ ዓመታት መኰንኖሙ አንተ ለዝ ሕዝብ ወተአምር ግዕዞሙ ወተኃሥሦቶሙ።
巡撫點頭叫保羅說話。他就說：「我知道你在這國裏斷事多年，所以我樂意為自己分訴。
When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, “Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense,
24:11
ወይእዜኒ እነግረከ ተፈሢሒየ ቅስትየ ዘሀለወከ ታእምር ከመ ኢየአክል ዐሡረ ወሰኑየ ዕለተ እምዘዐረጉ ኢየሩሳሌም እስግድ።
你查問就可以知道，從我上耶路撒冷禮拜到今日不過有十二天。
seeing that you can verify that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem.
24:12
ወኢረከቡኒ እንዘ እትዋቀሥ ኢበምኵራብ ወኢምስለ መኑሂ ወኢእንዘ አሀውክ ሕዝበ ኢ በምኵራብ ወበቤተ መቅደስ ወኢ በሀገር።
他們並沒有看見我在殿裏，或是在會堂裏，或是在城裏，和人辯論，聳動眾人。
In the temple they didn’t find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the synagogues or in the city.
24:13
ወኢይክሉ አብጽሖተ በኵሉ ዘያስተዋድዩኒ በቅድሜከ።
他們現在所告我的事並不能對你證實了。
Nor can they prove to you the things of which they now accuse me.
24:14
ወባሕቱ አአምነከ እንበይነ ዘይብሉኒ ይሜህር ካሕደ አንሰ አመልኮ ለእግዚአብሔር እንዘ እትአመን በኵሉ ግብር ዘጽሑፍ ውስተ ኦሪት ወነቢያት።
但有一件事，我向你承認，就是他們所稱為異端的道，我正按着那道事奉我祖宗的上帝，又信合乎律法的和先知書上一切所記載的，
But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, so I serve the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;
24:15
ወእሴፈዎ ለእግዚአብሔር ከመ እሙንቱ ይትአመኑ ከመ ሀለዎሙ ይትነሥኡ ምዉታን ጻድቃን ወኃጥኣን።
並且靠着上帝，盼望死人，無論善惡，都要復活，就是他們自己也有這個盼望。
having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
24:16
ከማሁ አነሂ እትአመኖ ለእግዚአብሔር በጥቡዕ ልብ በቅድመ እግዚአብሔር ወበቅድመ ሰብእ በኵሉ ጊዜ።
我因此自己勉勵，對上帝對人，常存無虧的良心。
In this I also practice always having a conscience void of offense toward God and men.
24:17
ወእምድኅረ ብዙኅ መዋዕል ወዓመታት መጻእኩ ለኀበ ሕዝብየ ከመ እግበር ምጽዋተ ወከመ አዕርግ መሥዋዕተ።
過了幾年，我帶着賙濟本國的捐項和供獻的物上去。
Now after some years, I came to bring gifts for the needy to my nation, and offerings;
24:18
ወረከቡኒ እሙንቱ በምኵራብ እንዘ አነጽሕ ርእስየ ወኢረከቡኒ እንዘ እትጋዐዝ ወእትላኰይ ወአልቦ ዘሆኩ ሕዝበ።
正獻的時候，他們看見我在殿裏已經潔淨了，並沒有聚眾，也沒有吵嚷，惟有幾個從亞細亞來的猶太人。
amid which certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, not with a mob, nor with turmoil.
24:19
ወሀለዉ አይሁድ እለ መጽኡ እምእስያ ወይእዜኒ ግበር ይምጽኡ ኀቤከ ከመ ያስተዋድዩኒ።
他們若有告我的事，就應當到你面前來告我。
They ought to have been here before you and to make accusation if they had anything against me.
24:20
ወእመ አኮ ነዮሙ እሉሂ ይንግሩ ጽድቀ እመቦ ዘሰምዑ ዘአበስኩ አነ ወእመኒ ቦ ዘርእዩ ዘገፋዕኩ በዘአምጽኡኒ ኀበ ምኵናን ዘኀቤከ።
即或不然，這些人若看出我站在公會前，有妄為的地方，他們自己也可以說明。
Or else let these men themselves say what injustice they found in me when I stood before the council,
24:21
ወአልቦ እኩይ ዘእንበለ አሐቲ ትምህርት ዘመሀርኩ ቀዊምየ በማእከሎሙ በብሂለ የሐይዉ ምዉታን ዘረከበኒ ዝ ተኰንኖ በኀቤከ ዮም።
縱然有，也不過一句話，就是我站在他們中間大聲說：『我今日在你們面前受審，是為死人復活的道理。』」
unless it is for this one thing that I cried standing among them, ‘Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am being judged before you today!’”
24:22
ወፊልክስሰ የአምር ከመ እምትካት ይትቃረኑ አይሁድ ምስለ ሕግ ወትምህርት ዘሕዝበ ክርስቲያን ወከመ አይሁድ መጻርርቲሃ ለሃይማኖት ወበእንተዝ የውሆሙ ወይቤሎሙ እንከሰኬ ወሪዶ ሉስዮስ መኰንን ነሐትት ከመ ናእምር ወንጠይቅ ነገረክሙ።
腓力斯本是詳細曉得這道，就支吾他們說：「且等千夫長呂西亞下來，我要審斷你們的事。」
But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”
24:23
ወአዘዞ ለሐቤ ቤተ ሞቅሕ ከመ ኢያጽንዖ ለጳውሎስ ወያንብሮ ውስተ መርሕብ ወኢያጽብብ ላዕሌሁ ወኢይክልኦ ለአሐዱሂ እምእለ የአምርዎ ሶበ ይመጽኡ ይትለአክዎ።
於是吩咐百夫長看守保羅，並且寬待他，也不攔阻他的親友來供給他。
He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody and should have some privileges, and not to forbid any of his friends to serve him or to visit him.
24:24
ወእምድኅረ ኅዳጥ መዋዕል ነበረ ፊልክስ ምስለ ዱርሳሌም ብእሲቱ አይሁዳዊት ወለአከ ወጸውዖ ለጳውሎስ ወሰምዕዎ ቃላተ ወትምህርታተ በእንተ አሚን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ።
過了幾天，腓力斯和他夫人－猶太的女子土西拉－一同來到，就叫了保羅來，聽他講論信基督耶穌的道。
After some days, Felix came with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.
24:25
ወሶበ ነገሮሙ በእንተ ጽድቅ ወሕይወት ወበእንተ ኵነኔ ዘለዓለም ወደይን ወፍትሕ ወርትዕ ዘይከውን በዕለተ ኵነኔ ፈርሀ ፊልክስ እምዝንቱ ወይቤሎ ለጳውሎስ ይእዜሰኬ ሑር ወሶበ ብሕትኩ እልእክ ዘይጼውዐከ።
保羅講論公義、節制，和將來的審判。腓力斯甚覺恐懼，說：「你暫且去吧，等我得便再叫你來。」
As he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, “Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.”
24:26
ወመሰሎ ለፊልክስ ከመ ይሁቦ ጳውሎስ ወይሔልዮ ንዋየ ይኅድጎ ወበእንተዝ ወትረ ይጼውዖ ወይትናገሮ።
腓力斯又指望保羅送他銀錢，所以屢次叫他來，和他談論。
Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him more often and talked with him.
24:27
ወሶበ ኀለፈ ክልኤቱ ዓመት ተስዕረ ፊልክስ ወመጽአ መካነ ሢመቱ ካልእ መኰንን ዘስሙ ፊስጦስ ወፈቀደ ፊልክስ ያድሉ ለአይሁድ ገሃደ ወበእንተዝ ኀደጎ ለጳውሎስ ውስተ ቤተ ሞቅሕ።
過了兩年，波求‧非斯都接了腓力斯的任；腓力斯要討猶太人的喜歡，就留保羅在監裏。
But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
