4:1
ወእንዘ ይነግሮሙ ለሕዝብ መጽኡ ሊቃነ ካህናት ወመገብተ ምኵራብ ወሰዱቃውያን።
使徒對百姓說話的時候，祭司們和守殿官，並撒都該人忽然來了。
As they spoke to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came to them,
4:2
ወቀንኡ ላዕሌሆሙ እስመ ይሜህርዎሙ ለሕዝብ ወይነግርዎሙ በእንተ ኢየሱስ ከመ ሐይወ እምዉታን።
因他們教訓百姓，本着耶穌，傳說死人復活，就很煩惱，
being upset because they taught the people and proclaimed in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
4:3
ወአኀዝዎሙ ወአውዐልዎሙ ሙዓለ እስከ ጌሠም እስመ ወድአ መስየ።
於是下手拿住他們；因為天已經晚了，就把他們押到第二天。
They laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was now evening.
4:4
ወብዙኃን ሰብእ እለ ሰምዕዎ ለዝ ነገር ወአምኑ ወኮነ ኍልቆሙ ለዕደው እለ አምኑ መጠነ ኀምሳ ምእት።
但聽道之人有許多信的，男丁數目約到五千。
But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.
4:5
ወእምዝ በሳኒታ ተጋብኡ መላእክት ወረበናት ወጸሐፍት በኢየሩሳሌም።
第二天，官府、長老，和文士在耶路撒冷聚會，
In the morning, their rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem.
4:6
ወሐና ሊቀ ካህናት ወቀያፋ ወዮሐንስ ወእለ እስክንድሮስ ወኵሎሙ ዘመደ ካህናት።
又有大祭司亞那和該亞法、約翰、亞歷山大，並大祭司的親族都在那裏，
Annas the high priest was there, with Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and as many as were relatives of the high priest.
4:7
ወአቀምዎሙ ማእከለ ዐውድ ወሐተትዎሙ ወይቤልዎሙ በኀይለ መኑ ወበስመ መኑ ገበርክሙ ዘንተ አንትሙ።
叫使徒站在當中，就問他們說：「你們用甚麼能力，奉誰的名做這事呢？」
When they had stood Peter and John in the middle of them, they inquired, “By what power, or in what name, have you done this?”
4:8
ወመልአ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ሶቤሃ ላዕለ ጴጥሮስ ወይቤሎሙ ስምዑ መላእክተ ሕዝብ ወረበናት።
那時彼得被聖靈充滿，對他們說：
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “You rulers of the people and elders of Israel,
4:9
ለእመሁ ንሕነ ንትኴነን ኀቤክሙ በእንተ ረድኤተ ሕሙም ዘኮነ ዮም በምንትኑ እንከ ሐይወ ዝንቱ።
「治民的官府和長老啊，倘若今日因為在殘疾人身上所行的善事查問我們他是怎麼得了痊癒，
if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,
4:10
አእምሩ እንከ ጥዩቀ ኵልክሙ ወኵሉ ቤተ እስራኤል ከመ በስሙ ለኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ናዝራዊ ዘአንትሙ ቀተልክምዎ ወእግዚአብሔር አንሥኦ እሙታን ወቦቱ ሐይወ ዝንቱ ወቆመ ቅድሜክሙ።
你們眾人和以色列百姓都當知道，站在你們面前的這人得痊癒是因你們所釘十字架、上帝叫他從死裏復活的拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名。
may it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands here before you whole in him.
4:11
እስመ ውእቱ እብን ዘመነንክምዎ አንትሙ ነደቀት ወውእቱ ኮነ ውስተ ርእሰ ማእዘንት።
他是 你們匠人所棄的石頭， 已成了房角的頭塊石頭。
He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’
4:12
ወአልቦ ካልእ ሕይወት በዘየሐይዉ ወአልቦ ካልእ ስም በታሕተ ሰማይ ዘይትወሀብ ለዕጓለ እመሕያው።
除他以外，別無拯救；因為在天下人間，沒有賜下別的名，我們可以靠着得救。」
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
4:13
ወሶበ ርእይዎሙ ለጴጥሮስ ወለዮሐንስ ከመ ገሃደ ይነግርዎሙ አእመርዎሙ ከመ ሰብእ የዋሃን እሙንቱ ወኢየአምሩ መጽሐፈ ወአንከርዎሙ እስመ የአምርዎሙ ዘልፈ ከመ ምስለ ኢየሱስ ሀለዉ።
他們見彼得、約翰的膽量，又看出他們原是沒有學問的小民，就希奇，認明他們是跟過耶穌的；
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.
4:14
ወይሬእይዎ ለዝኩሂ ብእሲ ዘሐይወ ይቀውም ምስሌሆሙ ወኀጥኡ ዘይብሉ ወዘይነብቡ።
又看見那治好了的人和他們一同站着，就無話可駁。
Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
4:15
ወአእተትዎሙ ሕቀ እምዐውድ ወተናገሩ በበይናቲሆሙ።
於是吩咐他們從公會出去，就彼此商議說：
But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
4:16
ወይቤሉ ምንተ ንሬስዮሙ ለእሉ ሰብእ ናሁ ተዐውቀ ትምህርቶሙ በኀበ ኵሎሙ እለ ይነብሩ ኢየሩሳሌም ወገሃደ ኮነ ወኢንክል ከቢቶቶ።
「我們當怎樣辦這兩個人呢？因為他們誠然行了一件明顯的神蹟，凡住耶路撒冷的人都知道，我們也不能說沒有。
saying, “What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it.
4:17
ዳእሙ ከመ ፈድፋደ ኢይብዛኅ በላዕለ ሕዝብ ንገሥጾሙ ከመ ዳግመ ኢይንግሩ በስሙ ለኢየሱስ ለሰብእ።
惟恐這事越發傳揚在民間，我們必須恐嚇他們，叫他們不再奉這名對人講論。」
But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name.”
4:18
ወጸውዕዎሙ ወይቤልዎሙ ግሙራ ኢትንግሩ ወኢትምሀሩ በስሙ ለኢየሱስ።
於是叫了他們來，禁止他們總不可奉耶穌的名講論教訓人。
They called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
4:19
ወተሰጥውዎሙ ጴጥሮስ ወዮሐንስ ወይቤልዎሙ ይረትዕኑ በቅድመ እግዚአብሔር ኪያክሙ ንስማዕ ወአኮ ለእግዚአብሔር ፍትሑ እስኩ ለሊክሙ።
彼得、約翰說：「聽從你們，不聽從上帝，這在上帝面前合理不合理，你們自己酌量吧！
But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,
4:20
ንሕነሰኬ ኢንክል ከቢቶቶ ለዝንቱ ነገር።
我們所看見所聽見的，不能不說。」
for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard.”
4:21
ወእምዝ ገሠጽዎሙ ወኀደግዎሙ ሶበ ኀጥኡ በዘይኴንንዎሙ እስመ ኵሉ ሕዝብ የአኵቱ እግዚአብሔርሃ በእንተ ውእቱ ተኣምር ዘኮነ።
官長為百姓的緣故，想不出法子刑罰他們，又恐嚇一番，把他們釋放了。這是因眾人為所行的奇事都歸榮耀與上帝。
When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done.
4:22
እስመ ፈድፈዶ እምአርብዓ ዓመት ለውእቱ ብእሲ ዘበላዕሌሁ ኮነ ዝ ተኣምረ ሕይወት።
原來藉着神蹟醫好的那人有四十多歲了。
For the man on whom this miracle of healing was performed was more than forty years old.
4:23
ወተፈቲሖሙ ሖሩ ኀበ ሰብኦሙ ወነገርዎሙ ኵሎ ዘይቤልዎሙ ሊቃነ ካህናት ወረበናት።
二人既被釋放，就到會友那裏去，把祭司長和長老所說的話都告訴他們。
Being let go, they came to their own company and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
4:24
ወሰሚዖሙ ዘንተ አንሥኡ ቃሎሙ ኅቡረ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ወይቤሉ አንተ እግዚአብሔር አምላክ ዘገበርከ ሰማየ ወምድረ ወባሕረ ወኵሎ ዘውስቴቶሙ።
他們聽見了，就同心合意地高聲向上帝說：「主啊！你是造天、地、海，和其中萬物的，
When they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord and said, “O Lord, you are God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;
4:25
ዘለሊከ ነበብከ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ በአፈ ዳዊት ገብርከ አቡነ ወትቤ «ለምንት አንገለጉ አሕዛብ ወሕዝብኒ ነበቡ ከንቶ።
你曾藉着聖靈，託你僕人－我們祖宗大衛的口，說： 外邦為甚麼爭鬧？ 萬民為甚麼謀算虛妄的事？
who by the mouth of your servant David, said, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?
4:26
ወተንሥኡ ነገሥተ ምድር ወመላእክትኒ ተጋብኡ ምስሌሆሙ ኅቡረ ላዕለ እግዚአብሔር ወላዕለ መሲሑ።»
世上的君王一齊起來， 臣宰也聚集， 要敵擋主， 並主的受膏者 。
The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers plot together, against the Lord, and against his Christ.’
4:27
አማን አንገለጉ በዛቲ ሀገር ላዕለ ቅዱስ ወልድከ ኢየሱስ ዘቀባዕካሁ ሄሮድስ ወጲላጦስ ጴንጤናዊ ምስለ ሕዘቢሆሙ ወሕዝበ እስራኤል።
希律和本丟‧彼拉多，外邦人和以色列民，果然在這城裏聚集，要攻打你所膏的聖僕 耶穌，
“For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,
4:28
ከመ ይግበሩ በከመ ሥርዐተ እዴከ ወምክርከ ከመ ይኩን።
成就你手和你意旨所預定必有的事。
to do whatever your hand and your counsel foreordained to happen.
4:29
ወይእዜኒ እግዚኦ ርኢ ትምክሕቶሙ ወሀቦሙ ለአግብርቲከ ገሃደ ይንግሩ ቃለከ።
他們恐嚇我們，現在求主鑒察，一面叫你僕人大放膽量講你的道，一面伸出你的手來醫治疾病，並且使神蹟奇事因着你聖僕 耶穌的名行出來。」
Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,
4:30
ወትስፋሕ እዴከ ወትግበር ትእምርተ ወመንክረ በስመ ወልድከ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ንጹሕ።
他們恐嚇我們，現在求主鑒察，一面叫你僕人大放膽量講你的道，一面伸出你的手來醫治疾病，並且使神蹟奇事因着你聖僕 耶穌的名行出來。」
while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus.”
4:31
ወእንዘ ይጼልዩ አድለቅለቀ ውእቱ መካን ኀበ ሀለዉ ይነብሩ ኅቡረ ጉቡኣን ወመልአ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ዲበ ኵሎሙ ወነገሩ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ገሃደ።
禱告完了，聚會的地方震動，他們就都被聖靈充滿，放膽講論上帝的道。
When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
4:32
ወኵሎሙ እለ አምኑ በአሐዱ ልብ ወበአሐቲ ነፍስ ወአልቦ እምውስቴቶሙ ዘይብል ዝሰ ዚኣየ ንዋይ አላ ዘኵሎሙ ኅቡረ።
那許多信的人都是一心一意的，沒有一人說他的東西有一樣是自己的，都是大家公用。
The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
4:33
ወዐቢየ ኀይለ ይገብሩ ሐዋርያት ስምዐ ተንሥኦቱ ለእግዚእ ኢየሱስ ወዐቢይ ሞገስ ቦሙ በኀበ ኵሉ።
使徒大有能力，見證主耶穌復活；眾人也都蒙大恩。
With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.
4:34
ወአልቦ እምውስቴቶሙ ጽኑስ ወኵሉ ዘቦ ቤት ወዐጸድ ይሠይጡ ወያመጽኡ ሤጦ።
內中也沒有一個缺乏的；因為人人將田產房屋都賣了，把所賣的價銀拿來，
For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,
4:35
ወያነብሩ ታሕተ እገሪሆሙ ለሐዋርያት ወእሙንቱ ይከፍሉ ለጽኑሳን ለለአሐዱ በከመ መፍቅዱ።
放在使徒腳前，照各人所需用的，分給各人。
and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and distribution was made to each, according as anyone had need.
4:36
ወሀሎ አሐዱ ብእሲ ዘስሙ ዮሴፍ ዘይብልዎ በርናባስ እምውስተ ሐዋርያት ወበትርጓሜሁ ይብልዎ ወልደ ፍሥሓ ሌዋዊ ዘምድረ ቆጵሮስ።
有一個利未人，生在塞浦路斯，名叫約瑟，使徒稱他為巴拿巴（巴拿巴翻出來就是勸慰子）。
Joses, who by the apostles was also called Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race,
4:37
ወቦ ገራህት ወሤጠ ወአምጽአ ሤጦ ወአንበረ ታሕተ እግረ ሐዋርያት።
他有田地，也賣了，把價銀拿來，放在使徒腳前。
having a field, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
