箴言 第 16 章

16:1
לְאָדָ֥ם מַעַרְכֵי־לֵ֑ב וּ֝מֵיְהֹוָ֗ה מַעֲנֵ֥ה לָשֽׁוֹן׃
心中的謀算在乎人； 舌頭的應對由於耶和華。
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from Yahweh.
16:2
כׇּֽל־דַּרְכֵי־אִ֭ישׁ זַ֣ךְ בְּעֵינָ֑יו וְתֹכֵ֖ן רוּח֣וֹת יְהֹוָֽה׃
人一切所行的，在自己眼中看為清潔； 惟有耶和華衡量人心。
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the motives.
16:3
גֹּ֣ל אֶל־יְהֹוָ֣ה מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ וְ֝יִכֹּ֗נוּ מַחְשְׁבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
你所做的，要交託耶和華， 你所謀的，就必成立。
Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.
16:4
כֹּ֤ל פָּעַ֣ל יְ֭הֹוָה לַֽמַּעֲנֵ֑הוּ וְגַם־רָ֝שָׁ֗ע לְי֣וֹם רָעָֽה׃
耶和華所造的，各適其用； 就是惡人也為禍患的日子所造。
Yahweh has made everything for its own end— yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.
16:5
תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה כׇּל־גְּבַהּ־לֵ֑ב יָ֥ד לְ֝יָ֗ד לֹ֣א יִנָּקֶֽה׃
凡心裏驕傲的，為耶和華所憎惡； 雖然連手，他必不免受罰。
Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh; they shall certainly not be unpunished.
16:6
בְּחֶ֣סֶד וֶ֭אֱמֶת יְכֻפַּ֣ר עָוֺ֑ן וּבְיִרְאַ֥ת יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה ס֣וּר מֵרָֽע׃
因憐憫誠實，罪孽得贖； 敬畏耶和華的，遠離惡事。
By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for. By the fear of Yahweh men depart from evil.
16:7
בִּרְצ֣וֹת יְ֭הֹוָה דַּרְכֵי־אִ֑ישׁ גַּם־א֝וֹיְבָ֗יו יַשְׁלִ֥ם אִתּֽוֹ׃
人所行的，若蒙耶和華喜悅， 耶和華也使他的仇敵與他和好。
When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
16:8
טוֹב־מְ֭עַט בִּצְדָקָ֑ה מֵרֹ֥ב תְּ֝בוּא֗וֹת בְּלֹ֣א מִשְׁפָּֽט׃
多有財利，行事不義， 不如少有財利，行事公義。
Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice.
16:9
לֵ֣ב אָ֭דָם יְחַשֵּׁ֣ב דַּרְכּ֑וֹ וַ֝יהֹוָ֗ה יָכִ֥ין צַעֲדֽוֹ׃
人心籌算自己的道路； 惟耶和華指引他的腳步。
A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.
16:10
קֶ֤סֶם׀ עַֽל־שִׂפְתֵי־מֶ֑לֶךְ בְּ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט לֹ֣א יִמְעַל־פִּֽיו׃
王的嘴中有神語， 審判之時，他的口必不差錯。
Inspired judgments are on the lips of the king. He shall not betray his mouth.
16:11
פֶּ֤לֶס׀ וּמֹאזְנֵ֣י מִ֭שְׁפָּט לַיהֹוָ֑ה מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗הוּ כׇּל־אַבְנֵי־כִֽיס׃
公道的天平和秤都屬耶和華； 囊中一切法碼都為他所定。
Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s; all the weights in the bag are his work.
16:12
תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת מְ֭לָכִים עֲשׂ֣וֹת רֶ֑שַׁע כִּ֥י בִ֝צְדָקָ֗ה יִכּ֥וֹן כִּסֵּֽא׃
作惡，為王所憎惡， 因國位是靠公義堅立。
It is an abomination for kings to do wrong, for the throne is established by righteousness.
16:13
רְצ֣וֹן מְ֭לָכִים שִׂפְתֵי־צֶ֑דֶק וְדֹבֵ֖ר יְשָׁרִ֣ים יֶאֱהָֽב׃
公義的嘴為王所喜悅； 說正直話的，為王所喜愛。
Righteous lips are the delight of kings. They value one who speaks the truth.
16:14
חֲמַת־מֶ֥לֶךְ מַלְאֲכֵי־מָ֑וֶת וְאִ֖ישׁ חָכָ֣ם יְכַפְּרֶֽנָּה׃
王的震怒如殺人的使者； 但智慧人能止息王怒。
The king’s wrath is a messenger of death, but a wise man will pacify it.
16:15
בְּאוֹר־פְּנֵי־מֶ֥לֶךְ חַיִּ֑ים וּ֝רְצוֹנ֗וֹ כְּעָ֣ב מַלְקֽוֹשׁ׃
王的臉光使人有生命； 王的恩典好像春雲時雨。
In the light of the king’s face is life. His favor is like a cloud of the spring rain.
16:16
קְֽנֹה־חׇכְמָ֗ה מַה־טּ֥וֹב מֵחָר֑וּץ וּקְנ֥וֹת בִּ֝ינָ֗ה נִבְחָ֥ר מִכָּֽסֶף׃
得智慧勝似得金子； 選聰明強如選銀子。
How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
16:17
מְסִלַּ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים ס֣וּר מֵרָ֑ע שֹׁמֵ֥ר נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ נֹצֵ֥ר דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃
正直人的道是遠離惡事； 謹守己路的，是保全性命。
The highway of the upright is to depart from evil. He who keeps his way preserves his soul.
16:18
לִפְנֵי־שֶׁ֥בֶר גָּא֑וֹן וְלִפְנֵ֥י כִ֝שָּׁל֗וֹן גֹּ֣בַהּ רֽוּחַ׃
驕傲在敗壞以先； 狂心在跌倒之前。
Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall.
16:19
ט֣וֹב שְׁפַל־ר֭וּחַ אֶת־[עֲנָוִ֑ים] (עניים) מֵחַלֵּ֥ק שָׁ֝לָ֗ל אֶת־גֵּאִֽים׃
心裏謙卑與窮乏人來往， 強如將擄物與驕傲人同分。
It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, than to divide the plunder with the proud.
16:20
מַשְׂכִּ֣יל עַל־דָּ֭בָר יִמְצָא־ט֑וֹב וּבוֹטֵ֖חַ בַּיהֹוָ֣ה אַשְׁרָֽיו׃
謹守訓言的，必得好處； 倚靠耶和華的，便為有福。
He who heeds the Word finds prosperity. Whoever trusts in Yahweh is blessed.
16:21
לַֽחֲכַם־לֵ֭ב יִקָּרֵ֣א נָב֑וֹן וּמֶ֥תֶק שְׂ֝פָתַ֗יִם יֹסִ֥יף לֶֽקַח׃
心中有智慧，必稱為通達人； 嘴中的甜言，加增人的學問。
The wise in heart shall be called prudent. Pleasantness of the lips promotes instruction.
16:22
מְק֣וֹר חַ֭יִּים שֵׂ֣כֶל בְּעָלָ֑יו וּמוּסַ֖ר אֱוִלִ֣ים אִוֶּֽלֶת׃
人有智慧就有生命的泉源； 愚昧人必被愚昧懲治。
Understanding is a fountain of life to one who has it, but the punishment of fools is their folly.
16:23
לֵ֣ב חָ֭כָם יַשְׂכִּ֣יל פִּ֑יהוּ וְעַל־שְׂ֝פָתָ֗יו יֹסִ֥יף לֶֽקַח׃
智慧人的心教訓他的口， 又使他的嘴增長學問。
The heart of the wise instructs his mouth, and adds learning to his lips.
16:24
צוּף־דְּ֭בַשׁ אִמְרֵי־נֹ֑עַם מָת֥וֹק לַ֝נֶּ֗פֶשׁ וּמַרְפֵּ֥א לָעָֽצֶם׃
良言如同蜂房， 使心覺甘甜，使骨得醫治。
Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
16:25
יֵ֤שׁ דֶּ֣רֶךְ יָ֭שָׁר לִפְנֵי־אִ֑ישׁ וְ֝אַחֲרִיתָ֗הּ דַּרְכֵי־מָֽוֶת׃
有一條路，人以為正， 至終成為死亡之路。
There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
16:26
נֶ֣פֶשׁ עָ֭מֵל עָ֣מְלָה לּ֑וֹ כִּֽי־אָכַ֖ף עָלָ֣יו פִּֽיהוּ׃
勞力人的胃口使他勞力， 因為他的口腹催逼他。
The appetite of the laboring man labors for him, for his mouth urges him on.
16:27
אִ֣ישׁ בְּ֭לִיַּעַל כֹּרֶ֣ה רָעָ֑ה וְעַל־[שְׂ֝פָת֗וֹ] (שפתיו) כְּאֵ֣שׁ צָרָֽבֶת׃
匪徒圖謀奸惡， 嘴上彷彿有燒焦的火。
A worthless man devises mischief. His speech is like a scorching fire.
16:28
אִ֣ישׁ תַּ֭הְפֻּכוֹת יְשַׁלַּ֣ח מָד֑וֹן וְ֝נִרְגָּ֗ן מַפְרִ֥יד אַלּֽוּף׃
乖僻人播散紛爭； 傳舌的，離間密友。
A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends.
16:29
אִ֣ישׁ חָ֭מָס יְפַתֶּ֣ה רֵעֵ֑הוּ וְ֝הוֹלִיכ֗וֹ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ לֹא־טֽוֹב׃
強暴人誘惑鄰舍， 領他走不善之道。
A man of violence entices his neighbor, and leads him in a way that is not good.
16:30
עֹצֶ֣ה עֵ֭ינָיו לַחְשֹׁ֣ב תַּהְפֻּכ֑וֹת קֹרֵ֥ץ שְׂ֝פָתָ֗יו כִּלָּ֥ה רָעָֽה׃
眼目緊合的，圖謀乖僻； 嘴唇緊閉的，成就邪惡。
One who winks his eyes to plot perversities, one who compresses his lips, is bent on evil.
16:31
עֲטֶ֣רֶת תִּפְאֶ֣רֶת שֵׂיבָ֑ה בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ צְ֝דָקָ֗ה תִּמָּצֵֽא׃
白髮是榮耀的冠冕， 在公義的道上必能得着。
Gray hair is a crown of glory. It is attained by a life of righteousness.
16:32
ט֤וֹב אֶ֣רֶךְ אַ֭פַּיִם מִגִּבּ֑וֹר וּמֹשֵׁ֥ל בְּ֝רוּח֗וֹ מִלֹּכֵ֥ד עִֽיר׃
不輕易發怒的，勝過勇士； 治服己心的，強如取城。
One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city.
16:33
בַּ֭חֵיק יוּטַ֣ל אֶת־הַגּוֹרָ֑ל וּ֝מֵיְהֹוָ֗ה כׇּל־מִשְׁפָּטֽוֹ׃
籤放在懷裏， 定事由耶和華。
The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from Yahweh.
