Ad hoc ad istum locum convenimus, fratres, ut Domino nostro vacare possimus, non his relms quibus noster delectatur inimicus. Certum est quod quando ea quæ ad sæculum pertinent loquimur, etc.
弟兄們，我們聚集在此地，正是為了能專心事奉我們的主，而非為了那些使我們的仇敵所喜悅之事。可以確定的是，當我們談論屬世之事時，云云。
For this we have gathered together in this place, brethren, that we may be free for our Lord, and not for those things in which our enemy delights. It is certain that when we speak of the things that pertain to the world, and so forth.
