25:1
ወነግሠ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ወልዱ፡ እምድኅሬሁ፡ ከዊኖ፡ ወልደዕሥራ፡ ወኃምስቱ፡ ዓመት፡ አመ፡ ይንገሥ፡ ወዕሥራ፡ ወተስዓተ፡ ዓመተ፡ ነግሠ፡ በኢሩሳሌም፡ ወስማ፡ ለእሙ፡ ኢዮአዲን፡ እምሀገረ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።
Amaziah was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jehoaddan, of Jerusalem.
亞瑪謝登基的時候年二十五歲，在耶路撒冷作王二十九年。他母親名叫約耶但，是耶路撒冷人。
25:2
ወገብረ፡ ርትዐ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወአኮሰ፡ በፍጹም፡ ልብ።
He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, but not with a perfect heart.
亞瑪謝行耶和華眼中看為正的事，只是心不專誠。
25:3
ወኮነ፡ እምድኅረ፡ ቆመ፡ ወጸንዐ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ በእደ፡ ዚአሁ፡ ቀተሎሙ፡ ለአግብርቲሁ፡ እለ፡ ቀተልዎ፡ ለአቡሁ፡ ንጉሥ።
Now when the kingdom was established to him, he killed his servants who had killed his father the king.
國一堅定，就把殺他父王的臣僕殺了，
25:4
ወደቂቆሙሰ፡ ኢቀተለ፡ በከመ፡ ኪዳነ፡ ሕገ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በከመ፡ ጽሑፍ፡ ወበከመ፡ አዘዘ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ኢይመውቱ፡ አበው፡ ህየንተ፡ ደቂቆሙ፡ ወኢይመውቱ፡ ደቂቅ፡ ህየንተ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ አላ፡ አሐዱ፡ አሐዱ፡ በከመ፡ ፆሩ፡ ወበአበሳ፡ ዚአሁ፡ ይመውት።
But he didn’t put their children to death, but did according to that which is written in the law in the book of Moses, as Yahweh commanded, saying, “The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers; but every man shall die for his own sin.”
卻沒有治死他們的兒子，是照摩西律法書上耶和華所吩咐的說：「不可因子殺父，也不可因父殺子，各人要為本身的罪而死。」
25:5
ወአስተጋብአ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ንገጉሥ፡ ሠራዊተ፡ ቤተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወአቀሞሙ፡ በበአብያተ፡ አበዊሆሙ፡ ወሤመ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ርኡሳነ፡ እልፍ፡ ወርኡሳነ፡ ምእት፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ በሐውርተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወኆለቆሙ፡ እምአምጣነ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ዓመት፡ ወላዕለ፡ እምኔሁ፡ ወተረክበ፡ ኍልቆሙ፡ ሠላሳ፡ እልፈ፡ እደው፡ ጸናዕት፡ እለ፡ ይክሉ፡ ጸቢዐ፡ ወይፀውሩ፡ ወልታ፡ ወኲናተ።
Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together and ordered them according to their fathers’ houses, under captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, even all Judah and Benjamin. He counted them from twenty years old and upward, and found that there were three hundred thousand chosen men, able to go out to war, who could handle spear and shield.
亞瑪謝招聚猶大人，按着猶大和便雅憫的宗族設立千夫長、百夫長，又數點人數，從二十歲以外，能拿槍拿盾牌出去打仗的精兵共有三十萬；
25:6
ወተዓሰበ፡ እምውስተ፡ እስራኤል፡ ዓሠርተ፡ እልፈ፡ እደወ፡ ጸናዕተ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ በምእተ፡ መክሊተ፡ ብሩር።
He also hired one hundred thousand mighty men of valor out of Israel for one hundred talents of silver.
又用銀子一百他連得，從以色列招募了十萬大能的勇士。
25:7
ወመጽአ፡ ነቢየ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኀቤሁ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ንጉሥ፡ ኢይፃእ፡ ምስሌከ፡ ጸባዒተ፡ እስራኤል፡ እስመ፡ ኢኮነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ምስለ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወምስለ፡ ኵሎሙ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ኤፍሬም።
A man of God came to him, saying, “O king, don’t let the army of Israel go with you, for Yahweh is not with Israel, with all the children of Ephraim.
有一個神人來見亞瑪謝，對他說：「王啊，不要使以色列的軍兵與你同去，因為耶和華不與以色列人以法蓮的後裔同在。
25:8
ለእመ፡ ነሣእከ፡ ኵሎ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ወሕዝበ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወሐለይከ፡ መዊዐ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ያወድቀከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ቅድመ፡ ጸላእትከ፡ እስመ፡ ብውሕ፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አጽንዖ፡ ወአውድቆ።
But if you will go, take action, and be strong for the battle. God will overthrow you before the enemy; for God has power to help, and to overthrow.”
你若一定要去，就奮勇爭戰吧！但上帝必使你敗在敵人面前；因為上帝能助人得勝，也能使人傾敗。」
25:9
ወይቤሎ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ለነቢየ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ምንተ፡ እንከ፡ እገብር፡ በእንተ፡ ምእት፡ መክሊት፡ ዘወሀብኩ፡ ለሠራዊተ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ነቢየ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኢይሰአኖ፡ ለእዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ የሀብከ፡ ካዕበተ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ እምእላንቱ።
Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “Yahweh is able to give you much more than this.”
亞瑪謝問神人說：「我給了以色列軍的那一百他連得銀子怎麼樣呢？」神人回答說：「耶和華能把更多的賜給你。」
25:10
ወሌለዮሙ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ለሠራዊት፡ እለ፡ መጽኡ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ እምበበሐውርተ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ ከመ፡ ይሑሩ፡ ወይግብኡ፡ ውስተ፡ ማኅደሪሆሙ፡ ወተምዑ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ላዕለ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወተመይጡ፡ ውስተ፡ ማኅደሪሆሙ፡ በመዓት፡ ዓቢይ።
Then Amaziah separated them, the army that had come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again. Therefore their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they returned home in fierce anger.
於是亞瑪謝將那從以法蓮來的軍兵分別出來，叫他們回家去。故此，他們甚惱怒猶大人，氣忿忿地回家去了。
25:11
ወአሜስያስ፡ ጸንዐ፡ ወአስተጋብአ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ዚአሁ፡ ወሖረ፡ ውስተ፡ አፍላገ፡ አጉሪን፡ ወቀተለ፡ በህየ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ሰዒር፡ አሐደ፡ እልፈ።
Amaziah took courage, and led his people out and went to the Valley of Salt, and struck ten thousand of the children of Seir.
亞瑪謝壯起膽來，率領他的民到鹽谷，殺了西珥人一萬。
25:12
ወአሐደ፡ እልፈ፡ አኃዙ፡ ወፄወዉ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወአምጽእዎሙ፡ ላዕለ፡ ርዕሰ፡ ቀልቀል፡ ወአጽደፍዎሙ፡ እምርእሰ፡ ውእቱ፡ ቀልቀል፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ ነቅዑ።
The children of Judah carried away ten thousand alive, and brought them to the top of the rock, and threw them down from the top of the rock, so that they all were broken in pieces.
猶大人又生擒了一萬帶到山崖上，從那裏把他們扔下去，以致他們都摔碎了。
25:13
ወእደው፡ ጸናዕት፡ እለ፡ አግብአ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ከመ፡ ኢይሑሩ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ለፀብዕ፡ ሮዱ፡ ኵሎ፡ አህጉረ፡ ይሁዳ፡ እምብሔረ፡ ሰማርያ፡ እስከ፡ ቤቴሮን፡ ወቀተሎ፡ እምኔሆሙ፡ ሠላሣ፡ ምእተ፡ ወማህረኩ፡ ምህርካ፡ ዓቢየ።
But the men of the army whom Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell on the cities of Judah from Samaria even to Beth Horon, and struck of them three thousand, and took much plunder.
但亞瑪謝所打發回去、不許一同出征的那些軍兵攻打猶大各城，從撒馬利亞直到伯‧和崙，殺了三千人，搶了許多財物。
25:14
ወኮነ፡ እምድኅረ፡ መጽአ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ቀቲሎ፡ ብሔረ፡ ኤዶምያስ፡ ወአምጽአ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ አማልክተ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ሰዒር፡ ወአቀሞሙ፡ ሎቱ፡ ለአማልክት፡ ወአንፃረ፡ ዚአሆሙ፡ ሎሙ፡ ይስግድ፡ ወውእቱሰ፡ በርእሱ፡ ይሠውዕ፡ ሎሙ።
Now after Amaziah had come from the slaughter of the Edomites, he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed down himself before them and burned incense to them.
亞瑪謝殺了以東人回來，就把西珥的神像帶回，立為自己的神，在它面前叩拜燒香。
25:15
ወኮነ፡ መቅሠፍተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አሜስያስ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወፈነወ፡ ሎቱ፡ ነቢየ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ለምንት፡ ኀሥሥከ፡ አማላክተ፡ አሕዛብ፡ እለ፡ ኢይባልሑ፡ ሕዝበ፡ ዚአሆሙ፡ እምእዴከ።
Therefore Yahweh’s anger burned against Amaziah, and he sent to him a prophet who said to him, “Why have you sought after the gods of the people, which have not delivered their own people out of your hand?”
因此，耶和華的怒氣向亞瑪謝發作，就差一個先知去見他，說：「這些神不能救它的民脫離你的手，你為何尋求它呢？」
25:16
ወኮነ፡ እንዘ፡ ይትናገሮ፡ ዘንተ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ዘአኮ፡ ሤምኩከ፡ መምክርየ፡ ተዓቀብ፡ ከመ፡ ኢትትመንደብ፡ ወአርመመ፡ ነቢይ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ አአምር፡ ከመ፡ መከረ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ላዕሌከ፡ ከመ፡ ይሥሩከ፡ እስመ፡ ገበርከ፡ ዘንተ፡ ወኢሰማዕከ፡ ምክረ፡ ዚአየ።
As he talked with him, the king said to him, “Have we made you one of the king’s counselors? Stop! Why should you be struck down?” Then the prophet stopped, and said, “I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.”
先知與王說話的時候，王對他說：「誰立你作王的謀士呢？你住口吧！為何找打呢？」先知就止住了，又說：「你行這事，不聽從我的勸戒，我知道上帝定意要滅你。」
25:17
ወተማከረ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወለአከ፡ ኀበ፡ ኢዮአስ፡ ወልደ፡ አካዝ፡ ወልደ፡ ኢዩ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ነዓ፡ ንትረአይ፡ ገጸ፡ በገጽ።
Then Amaziah king of Judah consulted his advisers, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, “Come! Let’s look one another in the face.”
猶大王亞瑪謝與群臣商議，就差遣使者去見耶戶的孫子、約哈斯的兒子、以色列王約阿施，說：「你來，我們二人相見於戰場。」
25:18
ወለአከ፡ ኢዮአስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ኀበ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ አቃኒ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ሊባኖስ፡ ለአከ፡ ኀበ፡ ዘግባ፡ ዘሊባኖስ፡ እንዘ፡ ይብል፡ ሀበኒ፡ ወለተከ፡ ለወልድየ፡ ከመ፡ ትኩኖ፡ ብእሲተ፡ ወነዮሙ፡ በጽሑ፡ አራዊተ፡ ገዳም፡ ዘውስተ፡ ሊባኖስ፡ ወኬድዎ፡ ለአቃኒ።
Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, “The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, ‘Give your daughter to my son as his wife. Then a wild animal that was in Lebanon passed by and trampled down the thistle.
以色列王約阿施差遣使者去見猶大王亞瑪謝，說：「黎巴嫩的蒺藜差遣使者去見黎巴嫩的香柏樹，說：『將你的女兒給我兒子為妻。』後來黎巴嫩有一個野獸經過，把蒺藜踐踏了。
25:19
አንተ፡ ትቤ፡ ናሁ፡ ቀተልኩ፡ በሐውርተ፡ ኤዶምያስ፡ ወይትዔበየከ፡ ልብከ፡ ፈድፋደ፡ ወይእዜኒ፡ ንበር፡ ውስተ፡ ቤትከ፡ ወለምንት፡ ትትዔበይ፡ በእኪት፡ ወትወድቅ፡ አንተ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ምስሌከ።
You say to yourself that you have struck Edom; and your heart lifts you up to boast. Now stay at home. Why should you meddle with trouble, that you should fall, even you and Judah with you?’”
你說：『看哪，我打敗了以東人』，你就心高氣傲，以致矜誇。你在家裏安居就罷了，為何要惹禍使自己和猶大國一同敗亡呢？」
25:20
ወኢሰምዐ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ንጉሥ፡ እስመ፡ እምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኮነት፡ ዛቲ፡ ከመ፡ ያግብኦ፡ ውስተ፡ እደ፡ ጸላእቱ፡ እስመ፡ ኃሠሠ፡ አማልክተ፡ ኤዶማውያን።
But Amaziah would not listen; for it was of God, that he might deliver them into the hand of their enemies, because they had sought after the gods of Edom.
亞瑪謝卻不肯聽從。這是出乎上帝，好將他們交在敵人手裏，因為他們尋求以東的神。
25:21
ወዓርገ፡ ኢዮአስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወተራአዩ፡ በበይናቲሆሙ፡ ውእቱኒ፡ ወአሜስያስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ በቤተ፡ ሳሚስ፡ እንተ፡ ደወለ፡ ይሁዳ።
So Joash king of Israel went up, and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Beth Shemesh, which belongs to Judah.
於是以色列王約阿施上來，在猶大的伯‧示麥與猶大王亞瑪謝相見於戰場。
25:22
ወወድቁ፡ ይሁዳ፡ አንፃረ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወጐዬ፡ በበይናቲሆሙ፡ ወገብኡ፡ በበማኅደሪሆሙ።
Judah was defeated by Israel; so every man fled to his tent.
猶大人敗在以色列人面前，各自逃回家裏去了。
25:23
ወለአሜስያስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮአስ፡ ዴገኖ፡ ኢዮአስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ በቤተ፡ ሳሚስ፡ ወአኀዞ፡ ወአብኦ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወአስሐቦ፡ ላዕለ፡ አረፍተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ እም፡ አንቀጸ፡ ኤፍሬም፡ እስከ፡ አንቀጸ፡ ማዕዘንት፡ አርባዕቱ፡ ምእት፡ በእመት።
Joash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash the son of Jehoahaz, at Beth Shemesh and brought him to Jerusalem, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
以色列王約阿施在伯‧示麥擒住約哈斯 的孫子、約阿施的兒子、猶大王亞瑪謝，將他帶到耶路撒冷，又拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，從以法蓮門直到角門，共四百肘；
25:24
ወኵሎ፡ ወርቀ፡ ወብሩረ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ንዋየ፡ ዘተረክበ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእዴሁ፡ ለአብዲዶም፡ ወመዛግብተ፡ ቤተ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወለደቂቀ፡ ፈላስያን፡ ሜጦሙ፡ ወአግብኦሙ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ብሔረ፡ ሰማርያ።
He took all the gold and silver, and all the vessels that were found in God’s house with Obed-Edom, and the treasures of the king’s house, and the hostages, and returned to Samaria.
又將俄別‧以東所看守上帝殿裏的一切金銀和器皿，與王宮裏的財寶都拿了去，並帶人去為質，就回撒馬利亞去了。
25:25
ወሐይወ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ወልደ፡ ዮአስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ እምድኅረ፡ ሞቱ፡ ለኢዮአስ፡ ወልደ፡ አካዝ፡ ንጉሠ፡ እስራኤል፡ ዓሠርተ፡ ወኃምስተ፡ ዓመተ።
Amaziah the son of Joash, king of Judah, lived for fifteen years after the death of Joash, son of Jehoahaz, king of Israel.
以色列王約哈斯的兒子約阿施死後，猶大王約阿施的兒子亞瑪謝又活了十五年。
25:26
ወእለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ቃላተ፡ አሜስያስ፡ ቀደምት፡ ወደኃርት፡ አኮኑ፡ ጽሑፋት፡ ውስተ፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ነገሥተ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወይሁዳ።
Now the rest of the acts of Amaziah, first and last, behold, aren’t they written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel?
亞瑪謝其餘的事，自始至終不都寫在猶大和以色列諸王記上嗎？
25:27
ወበውእቱ፡ መዋዕል፡ አመ፡ ርኅቀ፡ አሜስያስ፡ እምፍኖተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ገብሩ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ማዕሌተ፡ ወጐየ፡ እምብሔረ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ለብሔረ፡ ለኪስ፡ ወለአኩ፡ ድኅሬሁ፡ ወዴገንዎ፡ ብሔረ፡ ለኪስ፡ ወቀተልዎ፡ በህየ።
Now from the time that Amaziah turned away from following Yahweh, they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem. He fled to Lachish, but they sent after him to Lachish and killed him there.
自從亞瑪謝離棄耶和華之後，在耶路撒冷有人背叛他，他就逃到拉吉；叛黨卻打發人到拉吉，將他殺了。
25:28
ወአፆርዎ፡ መልዕልተ፡ አፍራስ፡ ወአብጽሕዎ፡ ወቀበርዎ፡ ምስለ፡ አበዊሁ፡ ውስተ፡ ሀገረ፡ ዳዊት።
They brought him on horses and buried him with his fathers in the City of Judah.
人就用馬將他的屍首馱回，葬在猶大京城他列祖的墳地裏。
