27:1
ወነግሠ፡ ኢዮአታም፡ ወልዱ፡ እምድኅሬሁ፡ ከዊኖ፡ ወልደ፡ ዕሥራ፡ ወኃምስቱ፡ ዓመት፡ ወዓሠርተ፡ ወሰብዓተ፡ ዓመተ፡ ነግሠ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወስማ፡ ለእሙ፡ ኢየሩሳ፡ ወለተ፡ ሳዶቅ።
Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok.
約坦登基的時候年二十五歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年，他母親名叫耶路沙，是撒督的女兒。
27:2
ወሖረ፡ በፍናወ፡ ጽድቅ፡ በቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በኵሉ፡ በከመ፡ ገብረ፡ ኦዝያን፡ አቡሁ፡ አላ፡ ኢቦአ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወዓዲሆሙ፡ ይሰግዱ፡ ሕዝብ።
He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, according to all that his father Uzziah had done. However he didn’t enter into Yahweh’s temple. The people still acted corruptly.
約坦行耶和華眼中看為正的事，效法他父烏西雅一切所行的，只是不入耶和華的殿。百姓還行邪僻的事。
27:3
ወውእቱ፡ ሐነፀ፡ አናቅጸ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ልዑላተ፡ ወበአረፋቲሁ፡ ለኦፌል፡ ሐነጸ፡ ብዙኀነ፡ አህጉረ።
He built the upper gate of Yahweh’s house, and he built much on the wall of Ophel.
約坦建立耶和華殿的上門，在俄斐勒城上多有建造，
27:4
ወሐነፀ፡ በደወለ፡ ይሁዳ፡ በውስተ፡ አእዋም፡ ማኅደረ፡ ወማኅፈደ።
Moreover he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.
又在猶大山地建造城邑，在樹林中建築營寨和高樓。
27:5
ወውእቱኒ፡ ተባአሰ፡ ምስለ፡ ንጉሦሙ፡ ለደቂቀ፡ አሞን፡ ወጸንዐ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ወይሁብ።
He also fought with the king of the children of Ammon, and prevailed against them. The children of Ammon gave him the same year one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand cors of wheat, and ten thousand cors of barley. The children of Ammon also gave that much to him in the second year, and in the third.
約坦與亞捫人的王打仗勝了他們，當年他們進貢銀一百他連得，小麥一萬歌珥，大麥一萬歌珥；第二年、第三年也是這樣。
27:6
ወፀንዐ፡ ኢዮአታም፡ እስመ፡ አስተዳለወ፡ ፍናዊሁ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላኩ።
So Jotham became mighty, because he ordered his ways before Yahweh his God.
約坦在耶和華－他上帝面前行正道，以致日漸強盛。
27:7
ወእለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ቃላተ፡ ኢዮአታም፡ ወጸብዑኒ፡ ወምግባረ፡ ዚአሁኒ፡ ነዋ፡ ጽሑፋት፡ ውስተ፡ መጽሐፈ፡ ነገሥተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወእስራኤል።
Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars and his ways, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
約坦其餘的事和一切爭戰，並他的行為，都寫在以色列和猶大列王記上。
27:8
ወኖመ፡ ኢዮአታም፡ ምስለ፡ አበዊሁ፡ ወተቀብረ፡ በሀገረ፡ ዳዊት።
He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
他登基的時候年二十五歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。
