16:1

Σαρα δὲ ἡ γυνὴ Αβραμ οὐκ ἔτικτεν αὐτῷ ἦν δὲ αὐτῇ παιδίσκη Αἰγυπτία ᾗ ὄνομα Αγαρ

Now Sara, Abram's wife, was not bearing him children; but she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Agar.

亞伯蘭的妻子撒拉不給他生兒女；她有一個埃及使女，名叫夏甲。

16:2

εἶπεν δὲ Σαρα πρὸς Αβραμ ἰδοὺ συνέκλεισέν με κύριος τοῦ μὴ τίκτειν εἴσελθε οὖν πρὸς τὴν παιδίσκην μου ἵνα τεκνοποιήσῃς ἐξ αὐτῆς ὑπήκουσεν δὲ Αβραμ τῆς φωνῆς Σαρας

And Sara said to Abram: Behold, the Lord has shut me up from bearing; go in therefore to my maidservant, that you may have children by her. And Abram listened to the voice of Sara.

撒拉對亞伯蘭說：看哪，主使我不能生育；求你進到我的使女那裡，好叫你從她得兒女。亞伯蘭就聽從了撒拉的話。

16:3

καὶ λαβοῦσα Σαρα ἡ γυνὴ Αβραμ Αγαρ τὴν Αἰγυπτίαν τὴν ἑαυτῆς παιδίσκην μετὰ δέκα ἔτη τοῦ οἰκῆσαι Αβραμ ἐν γῇ Χανααν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν Αβραμ τῷ ἀνδρὶ αὐτῆς αὐτῷ γυναῖκα

And Sara, Abram's wife, took Agar the Egyptian, her own maidservant, after ten years of Abram's dwelling in the land of Chanaan, and gave her to Abram her husband, to him for a wife.

亞伯蘭在迦南地住了十年之後，他的妻子撒拉帶了她自己的埃及使女夏甲來，給她的丈夫亞伯蘭為妻。

16:4

καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς Αγαρ καὶ συνέλαβεν καὶ εἶδεν ὅτι ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχει καὶ ἠτιμάσθη ἡ κυρία ἐναντίον αὐτῆς

And he went in to Agar, and she conceived; and she saw that she was with child, and the mistress was dishonored before her.

他就與夏甲同房，夏甲就懷了孕。她見自己有孕，她的主母就在她眼中被輕看了。

16:5

εἶπεν δὲ Σαρα πρὸς Αβραμ ἀδικοῦμαι ἐκ σοῦ ἐγὼ δέδωκα τὴν παιδίσκην μου εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου ἰδοῦσα δὲ ὅτι ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχει ἠτιμάσθην ἐναντίον αὐτῆς κρίναι ὁ θεὸς ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ σοῦ

And Sara said to Abram: I am wronged by you; I gave my maidservant into your bosom, but when she saw that she was with child, I was dishonored before her. May God judge between me and you.

撒拉對亞伯蘭說：我因你受了屈。我把我的使女放在你懷中；她見自己有孕，我就在她眼中被輕看。願神在你我中間判斷。

16:6

εἶπεν δὲ Αβραμ πρὸς Σαραν ἰδοὺ ἡ παιδίσκη σου ἐν ταῖς χερσίν σου χρῶ αὐτῇ ὡς ἄν σοι ἀρεστὸν ᾖ καὶ ἐκάκωσεν αὐτὴν Σαρα καὶ ἀπέδρα ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῆς

And Abram said to Sara: Behold, your maidservant is in your hands; deal with her as it may be pleasing to you. And Sara afflicted her, and she ran away from her presence.

亞伯蘭對撒拉說：看哪，你的使女在你手中，你看怎樣好就怎樣待她。撒拉就苦待她，她便從撒拉面前逃走了。

16:7

εὗρεν δὲ αὐτὴν ἄγγελος κυρίου ἐπὶ τῆς πηγῆς τοῦ ὕδατος ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐπὶ τῆς πηγῆς ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ Σουρ

And an angel of the Lord found her at the spring of water in the wilderness, at the spring on the way to Sour.

主的使者在曠野的水泉旁遇見她，就是在書珥路上的水泉旁。

16:8

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου Αγαρ παιδίσκη Σαρας πόθεν ἔρχῃ καὶ ποῦ πορεύῃ καὶ εἶπεν ἀπὸ προσώπου Σαρας τῆς κυρίας μου ἐγὼ ἀποδιδράσκω

And the angel of the Lord said to her: Agar, maidservant of Sara, from where do you come, and where are you going? And she said: I am running away from the presence of Sara my mistress.

主的使者對她說：撒拉的使女夏甲，你從哪裡來？要往哪裡去？她說：我從我主母撒拉面前逃出來。

16:9

εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῇ ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου ἀποστράφητι πρὸς τὴν κυρίαν σου καὶ ταπεινώθητι ὑπὸ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῆς

And the angel of the Lord said to her: Return to your mistress and be humbled under her hands.

主的使者對她說：你回到你主母那裡去，服在她的手下。
