Genesis 7

And the Lord God said to Noe, Enter, you and all your house, into the ark, for you I have seen to be righteous before me in this generation.

And of the clean cattle bring in to you seven by seven, male and female; and of the cattle that are not clean two by two, male and female.

And of the clean birds of heaven seven by seven, male and female; and of the birds that are not clean two by two, male and female, to preserve seed upon all the earth.

For yet seven days, and I bring rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe away from the face of the earth every rising thing which I made.

And Noe did all things whatsoever the Lord God commanded him.

And Noe was six hundred years old, and the flood of water came upon the earth.

And Noe entered, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the water of the flood.

And of the birds and of the clean cattle and of the cattle that are not clean and of all the creeping things that are upon the earth,

two by two they went in to Noe into the ark, male and female, as God commanded him.

And it came to pass after the seven days that the water of the flood came upon the earth.

In the six hundredth year in the life of Noe, in the second month, on the twenty-seventh of the month, on that day all the fountains of the abyss were broken up, and the cataracts of heaven were opened.

And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

On that day Noe entered, Sem, Cham, Iapheth, the sons of Noe, and the wife of Noe and the three wives of his sons with him, into the ark.

And all the wild beasts after their kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that moves upon the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind,

they went in to Noe into the ark, two by two of all flesh in which is the breath of life.

And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God commanded Noe; and the Lord God shut the ark on the outside of him.

And the flood was upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and the water multiplied and lifted up the ark, and it was raised from the earth.

And the water prevailed and was greatly multiplied upon the earth, and the ark was borne upon the water.

And the water prevailed exceedingly, very greatly, upon the earth, and it covered all the high mountains which were under heaven.

Fifteen cubits upward the water rose, and it covered all the high mountains.

And all flesh that moved upon the earth died, of the birds and of the cattle and of the wild beasts, and every creeping thing that moves upon the earth, and every man.

And all things that have the breath of life, and everyone who was on the dry land, died.

And he wiped away every standing thing which was upon the face of all the earth, from man to beast, and creeping things and the birds of heaven; and they were wiped away from the earth; and Noe alone was left, and those with him in the ark.

And the water was raised upon the earth a hundred and fifty days.
