καὶ Αβρααμ ἦν πρεσβύτερος προβεβηκὼς ἡμερῶν καὶ κύριος εὐλόγησεν τὸν Αβρααμ κατὰ πάντα
And Abraham was old, advanced in days; and the Lord blessed Abraham in all things.
亞伯拉罕年紀老邁,日子已多;主在一切事上賜福給亞伯拉罕。
24:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν Αβρααμ τῷ παιδὶ αὐτοῦ τῷ πρεσβυτέρῳ τῆς οἰκίας αὐτοῦ τῷ ἄρχοντι πάντων τῶν αὐτοῦ θὲς τὴν χεῖρά σου ὑπὸ τὸν μηρόν μου
And Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his house, the ruler of all that was his, Put your hand under my thigh,
亞伯拉罕對他家中那年長的僕人,就是管理他一切所有的,說:請你把手放在我大腿底下,
24:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐξορκιῶ σε κύριον τὸν θεὸν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τὸν θεὸν τῆς γῆς ἵνα μὴ λάβῃς γυναῖκα τῷ υἱῷ μου Ισαακ ἀπὸ τῶν θυγατέρων τῶν Χαναναίων μεθ’ ὧν ἐγὼ οἰκῶ ἐν αὐτοῖς
and I will make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son Isaac from the daughters of the Chananites, among whom I dwell;
我要叫你指著主天上的神和地上的神起誓,不可從迦南人的女子中為我兒子以撒娶妻,我正住在他們中間;
24:4▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀλλὰ εἰς τὴν γῆν μου οὗ ἐγενόμην πορεύσῃ καὶ εἰς τὴν φυλήν μου καὶ λήμψῃ γυναῖκα τῷ υἱῷ μου Ισαακ ἐκεῖθεν
but you shall go to my land where I was born, and to my tribe, and you shall take a wife for my son Isaac from there.
你倒要往我出生的本地去,到我本族那裡,從那裡為我兒子以撒娶妻。
24:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ παῖς μήποτε οὐ βούλεται ἡ γυνὴ πορευθῆναι μετ’ ἐμοῦ ὀπίσω εἰς τὴν γῆν ταύτην ἀποστρέψω τὸν υἱόν σου εἰς τὴν γῆν ὅθεν ἐξῆλθες ἐκεῖθεν
And the servant said to him, Perhaps the woman will not be willing to come back with me to this land; shall I take your son back to the land from which you came out?
僕人對他說:倘若那女子不肯隨我回到這地來,我要把你的兒子帶回你所出來的那地去嗎?
24:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτὸν Αβρααμ πρόσεχε σεαυτῷ μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς τὸν υἱόν μου ἐκεῖ
And Abraham said to him, Take heed to yourself that you do not take my son back there.
亞伯拉罕對他說:你要謹慎,不可把我的兒子帶回那裡去。
24:7▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
κύριος ὁ θεὸς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ὁ θεὸς τῆς γῆς ὃς ἔλαβέν με ἐκ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ ἐκ τῆς γῆς ἧς ἐγενήθην ὃς ἐλάλησέν μοι καὶ ὤμοσέν μοι λέγων σοὶ δώσω τὴν γῆν ταύτην καὶ τῷ σπέρματί σου αὐτὸς ἀποστελεῖ τὸν ἄγγελον αὐτοῦ ἔμπροσθέν σου καὶ λήμψῃ γυναῖκα τῷ υἱῷ μου Ισαακ ἐκεῖθεν
The Lord, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, who took me from my father's house and from the land where I was born, who spoke to me and swore to me, saying, To you I will give this land and to your seed—he will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son Isaac from there.
主天上的神和地上的神,就是領我離開我父家、離開我出生之地的,又對我說話、向我起誓說「我要把這地賜給你和你後裔」的,他必差遣他的使者在你前面,你就可以從那裡為我兒子以撒娶妻。
24:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ θέλῃ ἡ γυνὴ πορευθῆναι μετὰ σοῦ εἰς τὴν γῆν ταύτην καθαρὸς ἔσῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὅρκου τούτου μόνον τὸν υἱόν μου μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς ἐκεῖ
But if the woman is not willing to come with you to this land, you shall be clear from this oath of mine; only do not take my son back there.
那女子若不肯隨你到這地來,你就免去我這誓言;只是不可把我的兒子帶回那裡去。
24:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἔθηκεν ὁ παῖς τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ὑπὸ τὸν μηρὸν Αβρααμ τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ καὶ ὤμοσεν αὐτῷ περὶ τοῦ ῥήματος τούτου
And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter.
僕人就把手放在他主人亞伯拉罕的大腿底下,為這事向他起了誓。
24:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἔλαβεν ὁ παῖς δέκα καμήλους ἀπὸ τῶν καμήλων τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἀγαθῶν τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ μεθ’ ἑαυτοῦ καὶ ἀναστὰς ἐπορεύθη εἰς τὴν Μεσοποταμίαν εἰς τὴν πόλιν Ναχωρ
And the servant took ten camels from the camels of his master, and of all the good things of his master with him, and rose up and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nachor.
那僕人從他主人的駱駝中取了十匹駱駝,又帶著他主人各樣的美物,就起身往美索不達米亞去,到了拿鶴的城。
24:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐκοίμισεν τὰς καμήλους ἔξω τῆς πόλεως παρὰ τὸ φρέαρ τοῦ ὕδατος τὸ πρὸς ὀψέ ἡνίκα ἐκπορεύονται αἱ ὑδρευόμεναι
And he made the camels lie down outside the city by the well of water toward evening, at the time when the women who draw water come out.
他叫駱駝臥在城外的水井旁,那時將近傍晚,正是打水的婦女們出來的時候。
24:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν κύριε ὁ θεὸς τοῦ κυρίου μου Αβρααμ εὐόδωσον ἐναντίον ἐμοῦ σήμερον καὶ ποίησον ἔλεος μετὰ τοῦ κυρίου μου Αβρααμ
And he said, O Lord, God of my master Abraham, grant me success before me today, and show mercy to my master Abraham.
他說:主我主人亞伯拉罕的神啊,求你今日在我面前使事順利,向我主人亞伯拉罕施憐憫。
24:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἕστηκα ἐπὶ τῆς πηγῆς τοῦ ὕδατος αἱ δὲ θυγατέρες τῶν οἰκούντων τὴν πόλιν ἐκπορεύονται ἀντλῆσαι ὕδωρ
Behold, I am standing at the spring of water, and the daughters of those who dwell in the city are coming out to draw water.
看哪,我站在水泉旁邊,城內居民的女兒們正出來打水。
24:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἔσται ἡ παρθένος ᾗ ἂν ἐγὼ εἴπω ἐπίκλινον τὴν ὑδρίαν σου ἵνα πίω καὶ εἴπῃ μοι πίε καὶ τὰς καμήλους σου ποτιῶ ἕως ἂν παύσωνται πίνουσαι ταύτην ἡτοίμασας τῷ παιδί σου Ισαακ καὶ ἐν τούτῳ γνώσομαι ὅτι ἐποίησας ἔλεος τῷ κυρίῳ μου Αβρααμ
And let it be that the virgin to whom I say, Tip down your water jar that I may drink, and she says to me, Drink, and I will water your camels also until they have finished drinking—let her be the one you have prepared for your servant Isaac; and by this I shall know that you have shown mercy to my master Abraham.
我向哪一個童女說:請你放下你的水瓶,讓我喝;她若對我說:你喝吧,我也要給你的駱駝喝,直到牠們喝足了——願那女子就是你為你僕人以撒所預備的。藉此我就知道你向我主人亞伯拉罕施了憐憫。
24:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐγένετο πρὸ τοῦ συντελέσαι αὐτὸν λαλοῦντα ἐν τῇ διανοίᾳ καὶ ἰδοὺ Ρεβεκκα ἐξεπορεύετο ἡ τεχθεῖσα Βαθουηλ υἱῷ Μελχας τῆς γυναικὸς Ναχωρ ἀδελφοῦ δὲ Αβρααμ ἔχουσα τὴν ὑδρίαν ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων αὐτῆς
And it came to pass, before he had finished speaking in his mind, that behold, Rebekka came out, who was born to Bathouel, the son of Melcha the wife of Nachor, and Nachor was Abraham's brother; and she had her water jar upon her shoulders.
他心裡的話還沒有說完,看哪,利百加就出來了;她是彼土利所生的,彼土利是拿鶴的妻子密迦的兒子,拿鶴是亞伯拉罕的兄弟;利百加肩頭上扛著水瓶。
24:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἡ δὲ παρθένος ἦν καλὴ τῇ ὄψει σφόδρα παρθένος ἦν ἀνὴρ οὐκ ἔγνω αὐτήν καταβᾶσα δὲ ἐπὶ τὴν πηγὴν ἔπλησεν τὴν ὑδρίαν καὶ ἀνέβη
And the virgin was very beautiful in appearance; she was a virgin, no man had known her. And she went down to the spring, filled her water jar, and came up.
那童女容貌極其美麗,還是處女,沒有男人親近過她。她下到泉旁,把水瓶盛滿了,就上來。
24:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐπέδραμεν δὲ ὁ παῖς εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτῆς καὶ εἶπεν πότισόν με μικρὸν ὕδωρ ἐκ τῆς ὑδρίας σου
And the servant ran to meet her and said, Give me a little water to drink from your water jar.
那僕人就跑上前去迎著她,說:請你從你的水瓶裡給我一點水喝。
24:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἡ δὲ εἶπεν πίε κύριε καὶ ἔσπευσεν καὶ καθεῖλεν τὴν ὑδρίαν ἐπὶ τὸν βραχίονα αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπότισεν αὐτόν
And she said, Drink, lord. And she hastened and let down the water jar upon her arm, and gave him drink.
她說:我主,請喝。就急忙把水瓶拿下來,托在手臂上,給他喝。
24:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἕως ἐπαύσατο πίνων καὶ εἶπεν καὶ ταῖς καμήλοις σου ὑδρεύσομαι ἕως ἂν πᾶσαι πίωσιν
Until he had finished drinking. And she said, I will draw water for your camels also, until they all have drunk.
等他喝足了,她又說:我也要為你的駱駝打水,直到牠們都喝足。
24:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἔσπευσεν καὶ ἐξεκένωσεν τὴν ὑδρίαν εἰς τὸ ποτιστήριον καὶ ἔδραμεν ἔτι ἐπὶ τὸ φρέαρ ἀντλῆσαι καὶ ὑδρεύσατο πάσαις ταῖς καμήλοις
And she hastened and emptied the water jar into the watering trough, and ran again to the well to draw, and drew water for all the camels.
她就急忙把瓶裡的水倒在飲槽裡,又跑到井旁去打水,就為所有的駱駝打了水。
24:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὁ δὲ ἄνθρωπος κατεμάνθανεν αὐτὴν καὶ παρεσιώπα τοῦ γνῶναι εἰ εὐόδωκεν κύριος τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ ἢ οὔ
And the man was studying her closely and kept silent, to know whether the Lord had prospered his way or not.
那人定睛察看她,默不作聲,要知道主使他的道路通達了沒有。
24:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐγένετο δὲ ἡνίκα ἐπαύσαντο πᾶσαι αἱ κάμηλοι πίνουσαι ἔλαβεν ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐνώτια χρυσᾶ ἀνὰ δραχμὴν ὁλκῆς καὶ δύο ψέλια ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῆς δέκα χρυσῶν ὁλκὴ αὐτῶν
And it came to pass, when all the camels had finished drinking, that the man took gold earrings weighing a drachma each, and two bracelets for her hands, ten pieces of gold in weight.
眾駱駝喝足了,那人就拿出金環,重一德拉克馬,又拿兩個金鐲,戴在她手上,重十個金幣。
24:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὴν καὶ εἶπεν θυγάτηρ τίνος εἶ ἀνάγγειλόν μοι εἰ ἔστιν παρὰ τῷ πατρί σου τόπος ἡμῖν καταλῦσαι
And he asked her and said, Whose daughter are you? Tell me whether there is a place with your father for us to lodge.
他問她說:你是誰的女兒?請告訴我,你父親家裡有我們住宿的地方沒有?
24:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ θυγάτηρ Βαθουηλ εἰμὶ ἐγὼ τοῦ Μελχας ὃν ἔτεκεν τῷ Ναχωρ
And she said to him, I am the daughter of Bathouel, the son of Melcha, whom she bore to Nachor.
她對他說:我是彼土利的女兒;彼土利是密迦給拿鶴所生的。
24:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ καὶ ἄχυρα καὶ χορτάσματα πολλὰ παρ’ ἡμῖν καὶ τόπος τοῦ καταλῦσαι
And she said to him, We have both straw and much fodder, and a place to lodge.
她又對他說:我們家裡足有草料和飼料,也有住宿的地方。
24:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εὐδοκήσας ὁ ἄνθρωπος προσεκύνησεν κυρίῳ
And the man was well pleased and bowed down to the Lord,
那人就歡喜,向主下拜,
24:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὁ θεὸς τοῦ κυρίου μου Αβρααμ ὃς οὐκ ἐγκατέλιπεν τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειαν ἀπὸ τοῦ κυρίου μου ἐμὲ εὐόδωκεν κύριος εἰς οἶκον τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ κυρίου μου
and said, Blessed be the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken his righteousness and his truth toward my master; as for me, the Lord has prospered my way to the house of my master's brother.
說:主我主人亞伯拉罕的神是當受稱頌的,他沒有向我主人撇下他的公義和真實;至於我,主一路引導我到我主人兄弟的家。
24:28▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ δραμοῦσα ἡ παῖς ἀπήγγειλεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον τῆς μητρὸς αὐτῆς κατὰ τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα
And the girl ran and reported these words to her mother's house.
那少女就跑去,把這些話告訴她母親家裡的人。
24:29▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
τῇ δὲ Ρεβεκκα ἀδελφὸς ἦν ᾧ ὄνομα Λαβαν καὶ ἔδραμεν Λαβαν πρὸς τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἔξω ἐπὶ τὴν πηγήν
Now Rebekka had a brother whose name was Laban, and Laban ran out to the man at the spring.
利百加有一個哥哥,名叫拉班;拉班就跑出去,到泉旁那人那裡。
24:30▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐγένετο ἡνίκα εἶδεν τὰ ἐνώτια καὶ τὰ ψέλια ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας τῆς ἀδελφῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ ὅτε ἤκουσεν τὰ ῥήματα Ρεβεκκας τῆς ἀδελφῆς αὐτοῦ λεγούσης οὕτως λελάληκέν μοι ὁ ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἦλθεν πρὸς τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἑστηκότος αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τῶν καμήλων ἐπὶ τῆς πηγῆς
And it came to pass, when he saw the earrings and the bracelets on his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekka his sister, saying, Thus the man spoke to me, that he came to the man, who was standing by the camels at the spring.
他看見金環和他妹子手上的金鐲,又聽見他妹子利百加的話,說:那人對我如此如此說;他就來到那人那裡,見他正站在泉旁的駱駝那裡。
24:31▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ δεῦρο εἴσελθε εὐλογητὸς κύριος ἵνα τί ἕστηκας ἔξω ἐγὼ δὲ ἡτοίμακα τὴν οἰκίαν καὶ τόπον ταῖς καμήλοις
And he said to him, Come, enter in; blessed is the Lord; why do you stand outside? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels.
拉班對他說:請來進去吧,主是當受稱頌的;為甚麼站在外面呢?我已經收拾了房屋,也為駱駝預備了地方。
24:32▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἰσῆλθεν δὲ ὁ ἄνθρωπος εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν καὶ ἀπέσαξεν τὰς καμήλους καὶ ἔδωκεν ἄχυρα καὶ χορτάσματα ταῖς καμήλοις καὶ ὕδωρ νίψασθαι τοῖς ποσὶν αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῖς ποσὶν τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν μετ’ αὐτοῦ
And the man entered into the house, and he unsaddled the camels, and gave straw and fodder to the camels, and water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him.
那人就進了屋子,他卸了駱駝的鞍,拿草料和飼料餵駱駝,又拿水給那人和跟隨他的人洗腳。
24:33▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ παρέθηκεν αὐτοῖς ἄρτους φαγεῖν καὶ εἶπεν οὐ μὴ φάγω ἕως τοῦ λαλῆσαί με τὰ ῥήματά μου καὶ εἶπαν λάλησον
And he set bread before them to eat; but he said, I will not eat until I have spoken my words. And they said, Speak.
又把食物擺在他們面前請他們吃;那人卻說:我不吃,等我把我的話說完了。他們說:請說。
24:34▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν παῖς Αβρααμ ἐγώ εἰμι
And he said, I am Abraham's servant.
他說:我是亞伯拉罕的僕人。
24:35▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
κύριος δὲ εὐλόγησεν τὸν κύριόν μου σφόδρα καὶ ὑψώθη καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ πρόβατα καὶ μόσχους ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον παῖδας καὶ παιδίσκας καμήλους καὶ ὄνους
And the Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great; and he gave him sheep and calves, silver and gold, male and female servants, camels and donkeys.
主大大賜福給我主人,使他昌大;又賜給他羊群、牛犢、銀子、金子、僕人、婢女、駱駝和驢。
24:36▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἔτεκεν Σαρρα ἡ γυνὴ τοῦ κυρίου μου υἱὸν ἕνα τῷ κυρίῳ μου μετὰ τὸ γηρᾶσαι αὐτόν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ὅσα ἦν αὐτῷ
And Sarra, my master's wife, bore one son to my master after he had grown old; and he gave him all that he had.
我主人的妻子撒拉年老之後,給我主人生了一個兒子;我主人也把一切所有的都給了他。
24:37▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ὥρκισέν με ὁ κύριός μου λέγων οὐ λήμψῃ γυναῖκα τῷ υἱῷ μου ἀπὸ τῶν θυγατέρων τῶν Χαναναίων ἐν οἷς ἐγὼ παροικῶ ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν
And my master made me swear, saying, You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Chananites, among whom I sojourn in their land;
我主人叫我起誓說:你不可從迦南人的女子中為我兒子娶妻,我正寄居在他們的地上;
24:38▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀλλ’ ἢ εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου πορεύσῃ καὶ εἰς τὴν φυλήν μου καὶ λήμψῃ γυναῖκα τῷ υἱῷ μου ἐκεῖθεν
but you shall go to my father's house and to my tribe, and take a wife for my son from there.
你倒要往我父家去,到我本族那裡,從那裡為我兒子娶妻。
24:39▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἶπα δὲ τῷ κυρίῳ μου μήποτε οὐ πορεύσεται ἡ γυνὴ μετ’ ἐμοῦ
And I said to my master, Perhaps the woman will not come with me.
我對我主人說:恐怕那女子不肯跟我來。
24:40▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπέν μοι κύριος ᾧ εὐηρέστησα ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ αὐτὸς ἀποστελεῖ τὸν ἄγγελον αὐτοῦ μετὰ σοῦ καὶ εὐοδώσει τὴν ὁδόν σου καὶ λήμψῃ γυναῖκα τῷ υἱῷ μου ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς μου καὶ ἐκ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ πατρός μου
And he said to me, The Lord, before whom I have been well pleasing, will send his angel with you and will prosper your way, and you shall take a wife for my son from my tribe and from my father's house.
他對我說:我在他面前所蒙悅納的主,必差遣他的使者與你同去,使你的道路通達,你就得以從我本族、從我父家為我兒子娶妻。

τότε ἀθῷος ἔσῃ ἀπὸ τῆς ἀρᾶς μου ἡνίκα γὰρ ἐὰν ἔλθῃς εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν φυλὴν καὶ μή σοι δῶσιν καὶ ἔσῃ ἀθῷος ἀπὸ τοῦ ὁρκισμοῦ μου
Then you shall be innocent of my curse; for whenever you come to my tribe and they do not give her to you, then you shall also be innocent of my oath.
那時你就免了我的咒詛;因為你幾時到了我本族那裡,他們若不把女子給你,你也就免了我所起的誓。
24:42▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐλθὼν σήμερον ἐπὶ τὴν πηγὴν εἶπα κύριε ὁ θεὸς τοῦ κυρίου μου Αβρααμ εἰ σὺ εὐοδοῖς τὴν ὁδόν μου ἣν νῦν ἐγὼ πορεύομαι ἐπ’ αὐτήν
And coming today to the spring, I said, O Lord, God of my master Abraham, if you are prospering my way on which I now go,
我今日到了泉旁,就說:主我主人亞伯拉罕的神啊,你若使我現在所行的路通達,
24:43▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐφέστηκα ἐπὶ τῆς πηγῆς τοῦ ὕδατος καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες τῶν ἀνθρώπων τῆς πόλεως ἐξελεύσονται ὑδρεύσασθαι ὕδωρ καὶ ἔσται ἡ παρθένος ᾗ ἂν ἐγὼ εἴπω πότισόν με μικρὸν ὕδωρ ἐκ τῆς ὑδρίας σου
behold, I stand at the spring of water, and the daughters of the men of the city will come out to draw water; and let it be that the virgin to whom I say, Give me a little water to drink from your water jar,
看哪,我站在水泉旁邊,城裡人的女兒們必出來打水;我向哪一個童女說:請你從你的水瓶裡給我一點水喝,
24:44▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἴπῃ μοι καὶ σὺ πίε καὶ ταῖς καμήλοις σου ὑδρεύσομαι αὕτη ἡ γυνή ἣν ἡτοίμασεν κύριος τῷ ἑαυτοῦ θεράποντι Ισαακ καὶ ἐν τούτῳ γνώσομαι ὅτι πεποίηκας ἔλεος τῷ κυρίῳ μου Αβρααμ
and she says to me, You drink, and I will draw water for your camels also—let her be the woman whom the Lord has prepared for his own attendant Isaac; and by this I shall know that you have shown mercy to my master Abraham.
她若對我說:你只管喝,我也要為你的駱駝打水——願那女子就是主為他自己的僕人以撒所預備的妻子。藉此我就知道你向我主人亞伯拉罕施了憐憫。
24:45▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐγένετο πρὸ τοῦ συντελέσαι με λαλοῦντα ἐν τῇ διανοίᾳ εὐθὺς Ρεβεκκα ἐξεπορεύετο ἔχουσα τὴν ὑδρίαν ἐπὶ τῶν ὤμων καὶ κατέβη ἐπὶ τὴν πηγὴν καὶ ὑδρεύσατο εἶπα δὲ αὐτῇ πότισόν με
And it came to pass, before I had finished speaking in my mind, immediately Rebekka came out with her water jar upon her shoulders, and she went down to the spring and drew water. And I said to her, Give me a drink.
我心裡的話還沒有說完,利百加就出來了,肩頭上扛著水瓶,下到泉旁打水。我對她說:請給我水喝。
24:46▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ σπεύσασα καθεῖλεν τὴν ὑδρίαν αὐτῆς ἀφ’ ἑαυτῆς καὶ εἶπεν πίε σύ καὶ τὰς καμήλους σου ποτιῶ καὶ ἔπιον καὶ τὰς καμήλους μου ἐπότισεν
And she hastened and let down her water jar from herself and said, You drink, and I will water your camels also. And I drank, and she watered my camels.
她急忙從身上拿下水瓶來,說:你喝吧,我也要給你的駱駝喝。我就喝了,她也給我的駱駝喝了。
24:47▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἠρώτησα αὐτὴν καὶ εἶπα τίνος εἶ θυγάτηρ ἡ δὲ ἔφη θυγάτηρ Βαθουηλ εἰμὶ τοῦ υἱοῦ Ναχωρ ὃν ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ Μελχα καὶ περιέθηκα αὐτῇ τὰ ἐνώτια καὶ τὰ ψέλια περὶ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῆς
And I asked her and said, Whose daughter are you? And she said, I am the daughter of Bathouel, the son of Nachor, whom Melcha bore to him. And I put the earrings on her and the bracelets on her hands.
我問她說:你是誰的女兒?她說:我是彼土利的女兒;彼土利是拿鶴的兒子,是密迦給拿鶴所生的。我就把環給她戴上,又把鐲子戴在她手上。
24:48▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εὐδοκήσας προσεκύνησα κυρίῳ καὶ εὐλόγησα κύριον τὸν θεὸν τοῦ κυρίου μου Αβρααμ ὃς εὐόδωσέν μοι ἐν ὁδῷ ἀληθείας λαβεῖν τὴν θυγατέρα τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ κυρίου μου τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ
And being well pleased, I bowed down to the Lord and blessed the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who prospered me in a way of truth, to take the daughter of my master's brother for his son.
我就歡喜,向主下拜,稱頌主我主人亞伯拉罕的神,因他引導我走真實的道路,為我主人的兒子娶了我主人兄弟的女兒。
24:49▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἰ οὖν ποιεῖτε ὑμεῖς ἔλεος καὶ δικαιοσύνην πρὸς τὸν κύριόν μου ἀπαγγείλατέ μοι εἰ δὲ μή ἀπαγγείλατέ μοι ἵνα ἐπιστρέψω εἰς δεξιὰν ἢ εἰς ἀριστεράν
Now then, if you will deal mercifully and justly with my master, tell me; and if not, tell me, so that I may turn to the right or to the left.
現在你們若願以憐憫和公義待我主人,就告訴我;若不然,也告訴我,使我可以或向右、或向左。
24:50▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ Λαβαν καὶ Βαθουηλ εἶπαν παρὰ κυρίου ἐξῆλθεν τὸ πρόσταγμα τοῦτο οὐ δυνησόμεθα οὖν σοι ἀντειπεῖν κακὸν καλῷ
Then Laban and Bathouel answered and said, This command has come from the Lord; we shall not be able to contradict you, bad against good.
拉班和彼土利回答說:這事是從主出來的命令,我們不能向你說歹說好。
24:51▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἰδοὺ Ρεβεκκα ἐνώπιόν σου λαβὼν ἀπότρεχε καὶ ἔστω γυνὴ τῷ υἱῷ τοῦ κυρίου σου καθὰ ἐλάλησεν κύριος
Behold, Rebekka is before you; take her and go, and let her be wife to the son of your master, as the Lord has spoken.
看哪,利百加在你面前,你帶她去吧;照著主所說的,叫她作你主人兒子的妻子。
24:52▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ ἀκοῦσαι τὸν παῖδα τὸν Αβρααμ τῶν ῥημάτων τούτων προσεκύνησεν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν κυρίῳ
And it came to pass, when Abraham's servant heard these words, that he bowed down to the ground to the Lord.
亞伯拉罕的僕人聽見他們這些話,就俯伏在地,向主下拜。
24:53▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐξενέγκας ὁ παῖς σκεύη ἀργυρᾶ καὶ χρυσᾶ καὶ ἱματισμὸν ἔδωκεν Ρεβεκκα καὶ δῶρα ἔδωκεν τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτῆς καὶ τῇ μητρὶ αὐτῆς
And the servant brought out vessels of silver and of gold and clothing, and gave them to Rebekka; and he gave gifts to her brother and to her mother.
僕人就拿出銀器、金器和衣服,送給利百加,又把貴重的物件送給她哥哥和她母親。
24:54▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἔφαγον καὶ ἔπιον αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ μετ’ αὐτοῦ ὄντες καὶ ἐκοιμήθησαν καὶ ἀναστὰς πρωὶ εἶπεν ἐκπέμψατέ με ἵνα ἀπέλθω πρὸς τὸν κύριόν μου
And they ate and drank, he and the men who were with him, and they lay down. And rising up in the morning he said, Send me away, that I may go to my master.
他和跟隨他的人就吃了喝了,住了一夜。早晨起來,他說:請打發我走,好讓我回到我主人那裡去。
24:55▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἶπαν δὲ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῆς καὶ ἡ μήτηρ μεινάτω ἡ παρθένος μεθ’ ἡμῶν ἡμέρας ὡσεὶ δέκα καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἀπελεύσεται
But her brothers and her mother said, Let the virgin remain with us about ten days, and after that she shall go.
利百加的哥哥們和她母親說:讓這童女同我們再住些日子,約有十天,然後她可以去。
24:56▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὁ δὲ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς μὴ κατέχετέ με καὶ κύριος εὐόδωσεν τὴν ὁδόν μου ἐκπέμψατέ με ἵνα ἀπέλθω πρὸς τὸν κύριόν μου
But he said to them, Do not detain me, since the Lord has prospered my way; send me away, that I may go to my master.
他對他們說:請不要耽延我,主既使我的道路通達,請打發我走,好讓我回到我主人那裡去。
24:57▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
οἱ δὲ εἶπαν καλέσωμεν τὴν παῖδα καὶ ἐρωτήσωμεν τὸ στόμα αὐτῆς
And they said, Let us call the girl and ask her mouth.
他們說:我們把那少女叫來,問問她親口怎麼說。
24:58▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐκάλεσαν Ρεβεκκαν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῇ πορεύσῃ μετὰ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου τούτου ἡ δὲ εἶπεν πορεύσομαι
And they called Rebekka and said to her, Will you go with this man? And she said, I will go.
他們就叫了利百加來,問她說:你和這人同去嗎?她說:我去。
24:59▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐξέπεμψαν Ρεβεκκαν τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτῆς καὶ τὸν παῖδα τὸν Αβρααμ καὶ τοὺς μετ’ αὐτοῦ
So they sent away Rebekka their sister and her possessions, and Abraham's servant and those with him.
於是他們打發他們的妹子利百加和她的財物,並亞伯拉罕的僕人和跟隨他的人走了。
24:60▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εὐλόγησαν Ρεβεκκαν τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῇ ἀδελφὴ ἡμῶν εἶ γίνου εἰς χιλιάδας μυριάδων καὶ κληρονομησάτω τὸ σπέρμα σου τὰς πόλεις τῶν ὑπεναντίων
And they blessed Rebekka their sister and said to her, You are our sister; become thousands of myriads, and let your seed inherit the cities of their adversaries.
他們給他們的妹子利百加祝福,對她說:你是我們的妹子,願你成為千萬之眾;願你的後裔承受仇敵的城邑。
24:61▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀναστᾶσα δὲ Ρεβεκκα καὶ αἱ ἅβραι αὐτῆς ἐπέβησαν ἐπὶ τὰς καμήλους καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν μετὰ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου καὶ ἀναλαβὼν ὁ παῖς τὴν Ρεβεκκαν ἀπῆλθεν
And Rebekka rose up with her maids, and they mounted the camels and went with the man; and the servant took Rebekka and departed.
利百加和她的使女們起來,騎上駱駝,跟著那人走了。僕人就帶著利百加起行。
24:62▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Ισαακ δὲ ἐπορεύετο διὰ τῆς ἐρήμου κατὰ τὸ φρέαρ τῆς ὁράσεως αὐτὸς δὲ κατῴκει ἐν τῇ γῇ τῇ πρὸς λίβα
Now Isaac was travelling through the wilderness by the Well of the Vision; and he was dwelling in the land toward the southwest.
那時以撒正經過曠野,往「異象之井」那裡去;他本住在西南之地。
24:63▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἐξῆλθεν Ισαακ ἀδολεσχῆσαι εἰς τὸ πεδίον τὸ πρὸς δείλης καὶ ἀναβλέψας τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς εἶδεν καμήλους ἐρχομένας
And Isaac went out to muse in the plain toward evening, and lifting up his eyes he saw camels coming.
天將晚的時候,以撒出來到田間默想;他舉目觀看,見有駱駝來了。
24:64▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ ἀναβλέψασα Ρεβεκκα τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς εἶδεν τὸν Ισαακ καὶ κατεπήδησεν ἀπὸ τῆς καμήλου
And Rebekka lifted up her eyes and saw Isaac, and she jumped down from the camel,
利百加舉目看見以撒,就從駱駝上跳下來,
24:65▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ εἶπεν τῷ παιδί τίς ἐστιν ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος ὁ πορευόμενος ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ εἰς συνάντησιν ἡμῖν εἶπεν δὲ ὁ παῖς οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ κύριός μου ἡ δὲ λαβοῦσα τὸ θέριστρον περιεβάλετο
and said to the servant, Who is that man walking in the plain to meet us? And the servant said, This is my master. And she took her veil and covered herself.
問那僕人說:那在田間走來迎接我們的人是誰?僕人說:他是我的主人。利百加就拿面紗蒙上自己。
24:66▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
καὶ διηγήσατο ὁ παῖς τῷ Ισαακ πάντα τὰ ῥήματα ἃ ἐποίησεν
And the servant recounted to Isaac all the things that he had done.
僕人就把他所做的一切事都向以撒述說了。
24:67▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἰσῆλθεν δὲ Ισαακ εἰς τὸν οἶκον τῆς μητρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔλαβεν τὴν Ρεβεκκαν καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοῦ γυνή καὶ ἠγάπησεν αὐτήν καὶ παρεκλήθη Ισαακ περὶ Σαρρας τῆς μητρὸς αὐτοῦ
And Isaac went into his mother's house and took Rebekka, and she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted concerning Sarra his mother.
以撒就進了他母親的家,娶了利百加,她就作了他的妻子;以撒愛她,就在他母親撒拉的事上得了安慰。
