18:1
ὁ λόγος ὁ γενόμενος παρὰ κυρίου πρὸς Ιερεμιαν λέγων
The word that came from the Lord to Jeremiah, saying:
從主那裡臨到耶利米的話，說：
18:2
ἀνάστηθι καὶ κατάβηθι εἰς οἶκον τοῦ κεραμέως καὶ ἐκεῖ ἀκούσῃ τοὺς λόγους μου
Arise and go down to the house of the potter, and there you shall hear my words.
起來，下到窯匠的家去，你在那裡必聽見我的話。
18:3
καὶ κατέβην εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ κεραμέως καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐποίει ἔργον ἐπὶ τῶν λίθων
And I went down to the house of the potter, and behold, he was doing work on the stones.
我就下到窯匠的家，看哪，他正在石頭上作工。
18:4
καὶ διέπεσεν τὸ ἀγγεῖον ὃ αὐτὸς ἐποίει ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ καὶ πάλιν αὐτὸς ἐποίησεν αὐτὸ ἀγγεῖον ἕτερον καθὼς ἤρεσεν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ τοῦ ποιῆσαι
And the vessel that he was making in his hands fell apart, and again he made it into another vessel, as it seemed good in his sight to make it.
他手中所作的器皿壞了，他就把它另作成一個器皿，照他看為合意的去作。
18:5
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
主的話又臨到我，說：
18:6
εἰ καθὼς ὁ κεραμεὺς οὗτος οὐ δυνήσομαι τοῦ ποιῆσαι ὑμᾶς οἶκος Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ὡς ὁ πηλὸς τοῦ κεραμέως ὑμεῖς ἐστε ἐν ταῖς χερσίν μου
Can I not do to you as this potter does, O house of Israel? Behold, as the clay of the potter, so are you in my hands.
以色列家啊，我豈不能像這窯匠一樣待你們麼？看哪，你們在我手中，正如泥在窯匠手中。
18:7
πέρας λαλήσω ἐπὶ ἔθνος ἢ ἐπὶ βασιλείαν τοῦ ἐξᾶραι αὐτοὺς καὶ τοῦ ἀπολλύειν
At the end I will speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom, to remove them and to destroy.
我末了要論到一邦或一國，說要將他們除掉、毀滅；
18:8
καὶ ἐπιστραφῇ τὸ ἔθνος ἐκεῖνο ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν κακῶν αὐτῶν καὶ μετανοήσω περὶ τῶν κακῶν ὧν ἐλογισάμην τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς
And if that nation turns from all their evils, then I will change my mind concerning the evils that I purposed to do to them.
那一邦若轉離他們一切的惡，我就必改變心意，不降我所想要施行在他們身上的災禍。
18:9
καὶ πέρας λαλήσω ἐπὶ ἔθνος καὶ ἐπὶ βασιλείαν τοῦ ἀνοικοδομεῖσθαι καὶ τοῦ καταφυτεύεσθαι
And at the end I will speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to be built up and to be planted.
我末了又要論到一邦或一國，說要建立、栽植；
18:10
καὶ ποιήσωσιν τὰ πονηρὰ ἐναντίον μου τοῦ μὴ ἀκούειν τῆς φωνῆς μου καὶ μετανοήσω περὶ τῶν ἀγαθῶν ὧν ἐλάλησα τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς
And if they do what is evil before me, so as not to listen to my voice, then I will change my mind concerning the good things that I said I would do for them.
他們若在我面前行惡，不聽從我的聲音，我就必改變心意，不將我所說要賜給他們的福加給他們。
18:11
καὶ νῦν εἰπὸν πρὸς ἄνδρας Ιουδα καὶ πρὸς τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ιερουσαλημ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πλάσσω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς κακὰ καὶ λογίζομαι ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς λογισμόν ἀποστραφήτω δὴ ἕκαστος ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς καὶ καλλίονα ποιήσετε τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν
And now say to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem: Behold, I am shaping evils against you and devising a device against you. Let each one turn back from his evil way, and you shall make your practices better.
現在你要對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說：看哪，我正塑造災禍攻擊你們，也籌算計謀對付你們。你們各人務要回轉離開自己的惡道，使你們的行為更為美善。
18:12
καὶ εἶπαν ἀνδριούμεθα ὅτι ὀπίσω τῶν ἀποστροφῶν ἡμῶν πορευσόμεθα καὶ ἕκαστος τὰ ἀρεστὰ τῆς καρδίας αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς ποιήσομεν
But they said: We will play the man, for we will go after our own turnings away, and each one will do what pleases his own evil heart.
他們卻說：我們要剛強行事，因為我們要隨從自己的悖逆，各人要照自己頑惡之心所喜悅的去行。
18:13
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐρωτήσατε δὴ ἐν ἔθνεσιν τίς ἤκουσεν τοιαῦτα φρικτά ἃ ἐποίησεν σφόδρα παρθένος Ισραηλ
Therefore thus says the Lord: Ask now among the nations, who has heard such horrible things as the virgin Israel has done exceedingly?
因此，主如此說：你們要在列國中查問，有誰聽見過這樣可怖的事呢？以色列的處女所行的極其可怕。
18:14
μὴ ἐκλείψουσιν ἀπὸ πέτρας μαστοὶ ἢ χιὼν ἀπὸ τοῦ Λιβάνου μὴ ἐκκλινεῖ ὕδωρ βιαίως ἀνέμῳ φερόμενον
Shall breasts fail from the rock, or snow from Lebanon? Shall water that is violently borne by the wind turn aside?
磐石上的乳泉豈能斷絕麼？黎巴嫩的雪豈能斷絕麼？被風猛烈吹送的水豈能轉離麼？
18:15
ὅτι ἐπελάθοντό μου ὁ λαός μου εἰς κενὸν ἐθυμίασαν καὶ ἀσθενήσουσιν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν σχοίνους αἰωνίους τοῦ ἐπιβῆναι τρίβους οὐκ ἔχοντας ὁδὸν εἰς πορείαν
For my people have forgotten me; they burned incense to what is empty, and they shall stumble in their ways, the ancient tracks, treading paths that have no way to walk on,
因為我的百姓忘記了我，向虛空燒香；他們必在自己的路上絆跌，就是那古舊的道路，去踏上無路可行的小徑，
18:16
τοῦ τάξαι τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν εἰς ἀφανισμὸν καὶ σύριγμα αἰώνιον πάντες οἱ διαπορευόμενοι δῑ αὐτῆς ἐκστήσονται καὶ κινήσουσιν τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν
so as to make their land a desolation and an everlasting hissing; all who pass through it shall be appalled and shall shake their head.
以致使他們的地成為荒涼，永遠被人嗤笑；凡從那裡經過的，都必驚駭搖頭。
18:17
ὡς ἄνεμον καύσωνα διασπερῶ αὐτοὺς κατὰ πρόσωπον ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν δείξω αὐτοῖς ἡμέραν ἀπωλείας αὐτῶν
Like a scorching wind I will scatter them before the face of their enemies; I will show them the day of their destruction.
我必像炎熱的風，把他們分散在他們仇敵面前；我必使他們看見他們滅亡的日子。
18:18
καὶ εἶπαν δεῦτε λογισώμεθα ἐπὶ Ιερεμιαν λογισμόν ὅτι οὐκ ἀπολεῖται νόμος ἀπὸ ἱερέως καὶ βουλὴ ἀπὸ συνετοῦ καὶ λόγος ἀπὸ προφήτου δεῦτε καὶ πατάξωμεν αὐτὸν ἐν γλώσσῃ καὶ ἀκουσόμεθα πάντας τοὺς λόγους αὐτοῦ
And they said: Come, let us devise a device against Jeremiah, for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor word from the prophet. Come, let us strike him with the tongue, and let us listen to all his words.
他們就說：來吧，我們設計謀害耶利米，因為律法必不從祭司斷絕，謀略必不從智慧人斷絕，言語必不從先知斷絕。來吧，我們用舌頭擊打他，並要留意聽他一切的話。
18:19
εἰσάκουσόν μου κύριε καὶ εἰσάκουσον τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ δικαιώματός μου
Listen to me, O Lord, and listen to the voice of my plea for justice.
主啊，求你垂聽我，也垂聽我申辯的聲音。
18:20
εἰ ἀνταποδίδοται ἀντὶ ἀγαθῶν κακά ὅτι συνελάλησαν ῥήματα κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς μου καὶ τὴν κόλασιν αὐτῶν ἔκρυψάν μοι μνήσθητι ἑστηκότος μου κατὰ πρόσωπόν σου τοῦ λαλῆσαι ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν ἀγαθὰ τοῦ ἀποστρέψαι τὸν θυμόν σου ἀπ’ αὐτῶν
Is evil repaid in return for good? For they have spoken words together against my soul, and they hid their punishment for me. Remember me standing before your face, speaking good things on their behalf, to turn away your wrath from them.
豈可以惡報善呢？他們竟商議話語攻擊我的魂，又把要加給我的刑罰隱藏起來。求你記念我曾站在你面前，為他們說好話，使你的烈怒轉離他們。
18:21
διὰ τοῦτο δὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν εἰς λιμὸν καὶ ἄθροισον αὐτοὺς εἰς χεῖρας μαχαίρας γενέσθωσαν αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν ἄτεκνοι καὶ χῆραι καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτῶν γενέσθωσαν ἀνῃρημένοι θανάτῳ καὶ οἱ νεανίσκοι αὐτῶν πεπτωκότες μαχαίρᾳ ἐν πολέμῳ
Therefore give their sons over to famine, and gather them into the hands of the sword; let their wives become childless and widows; and let their men be taken away by death, and their young men fallen by the sword in war.
因此，求你把他們的兒子交給饑荒，把他們聚集交在刀劍的手中；願他們的妻子喪子寡居；願他們的男人被死亡除滅，他們的少年人在戰場上倒在刀下。
18:22
γενηθήτω κραυγὴ ἐν ταῖς οἰκίαις αὐτῶν ἐπάξεις ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς λῃστὰς ἄφνω ὅτι ἐνεχείρησαν λόγον εἰς σύλλημψίν μου καὶ παγίδας ἔκρυψαν ἐπ’ ἐμέ
Let a cry be heard in their houses; you shall bring robbers upon them suddenly, because they undertook a word to seize me and have hidden snares for me.
願哀號從他們的家中發出；求你使強盜忽然臨到他們，因為他們設下言語要捉拿我，又暗設網羅陷害我。
18:23
καὶ σύ κύριε ἔγνως ἅπασαν τὴν βουλὴν αὐτῶν ἐπ’ ἐμὲ εἰς θάνατον μὴ ἀθῳώσῃς τὰς ἀδικίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν ἀπὸ προσώπου σου μὴ ἐξαλείψῃς γενέσθω ἡ ἀσθένεια αὐτῶν ἐναντίον σου ἐν καιρῷ θυμοῦ σου ποίησον ἐν αὐτοῖς
And you, O Lord, know all their counsel against me for death. Do not acquit their iniquities, and do not blot out their sins from before your face; let their weakness be before you; act against them in the time of your anger.
主啊，你知道他們一切要置我於死的計謀。求你不要赦免他們的不義，也不要從你面前塗抹他們的罪；願他們的軟弱顯在你面前；求你在你發怒的時候向他們施行。
