11:1

ወበሠላሳ ፡ ወኃምስቱ ፡ ኢዮቤልዉ ፡ በሱባዔ ፡ ሣልስ ፡ በአሐዱ ፡ ዓመቱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ነሥአ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ራግው ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ወስማ ፡ አራ ፡ ወለተ ፡ ኡር ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኬሴድ ፡ ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ወጸውዐ ፡ ስሞ ፡ ሴሩግ ፡ በሳብዕ ፡ ሱባዔሁ ፡ ለዝ ፡ ሱባዔ ።

在第三十五個禧年，第三個七年的頭一年，拉吳為自己娶了妻，名叫阿拉，是基薩之子吾珥的女兒；她給他生了一個兒子，他在這七年的第七年給兒子起名叫西鹿。

And in the thirty-fifth jubilee, in the third week, in its first year, Reu took to himself a wife, and her name was Ora, daughter of Ur son of Kesed; and she bore him a son, and he called his name Serug, in the seventh week of this jubilee.

11:2

ወበዝ ፡ ኢዮቤልዉ ፡ ወጠኑ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ኖኅ ፡ ይትቃተሉ ፡ ለፄውዎ ፡ ወለቀቲል ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ እኅዋሁ ፡ ወለክዒወ ፡ ደመ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወለበሊዐ ፡ ደም ፡ ወለሐኒጸ ፡ አህጉር ፡ ጽኑዓት ፡ ወጥቅም ፡ ወማኅፈድ ፡ ወለተልዕሎ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወለሰዪመ ፡ መቅድመ ፡ መንግሥት ።

在這禧年裏，挪亞的眾子開始彼此爭戰，擄掠並殺戮各人的弟兄，在地上流人血，並喫血，建造堅固的城、城牆和塔，又有人高抬自己過於眾民，並開創列國的根基。

2 And the sons A.M. of Noah began to war on each other, to take captive and to slay each other, and to shed the blood of men on the earth, and to eat blood, and to build strong cities, and walls, and towers, and individuals (began) to exalt themselves above the nation, 3 and to found the beginnings of kingdoms, and to go to war people against people, and nation against nation, and city against city, and all (began) to do evil, and to acquire arms, and to teach their sons war, and they began to capture cities, and to sell male and female slaves.

11:3

ወሐነጸ ፡ ኡድ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኬሴድ ፡ ሀገረ ፡ አራሃ ፡ እንተ ፡ ከልዴዎን ፡ ወሰመየ ፡ ስማ ፡ በስመ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ወበስመ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ 4 ወገብሩ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ስብከዋተ ፡ ወይሰግድ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ለጣዖት ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ለርእሱ ፡ ስብኮ ።

基薩之子吾珥建造了迦勒底人的城阿拉，按他自己的名和他父親的名稱呼那城。他們為自己造了鑄像，各人向自己親手所造的偶像下拜。

And ’Ûr, the son of Kêsêd, 4 built the city of ’Arâ 5 of the Chaldees, and called its name after his own name and the name of his father.

11:5

ወመኰንን ፡ ወስቴማ ፡ ይኄይል ፡ ለግብረ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ወይፌኑ ፡ በእደ ፡ መናፍስት ፡ ለእለ ፡ ተውህቡ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ለገቢረ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ጌጋይ ፡ ወኃጢአት ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ አበሳ ፡ ለአማስኖ ፡ ወለአሕጕሎ ፡ ወለክዒወ ፡ ደም ፡ ዲበ ፡ ምድር ።

瑪斯提瑪首領竭力作這一切，並藉著那些交在他手下的眾靈，差遣它們去行各樣的過犯、罪惡和一切不義，敗壞、毀滅，並在地上流血。

And the prince Mastêmâ exerted himself to do all this, and he sent forth other spirits, those which were put under his hand, to do all manner of wrong and sin, and all manner of transgression, to corrupt and destroy, and to shed blood upon the earth.

11:6

በእንተዝ ፡ ተጸውዐ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለሴሩክ ፡ ሴሩክ ፡ እስመ ፡ ተመይጠ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ለገቢረ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኃጢአት ።

為此緣故，西鹿的名稱為西鹿，因為眾人都轉去行各樣的罪。

For this reason he called the name of Sêrô, Serug, for every one turned to do all manner of sin and transgression.

11:7

ወልህቀ ፡ ወኀደረ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኡር ፡ ዘከላዴዎን ፡ ቅሩበ ፡ አበ ፡ እመ ፡ ብእሲቱ ፡ ወኮነ ፡ ያመልክ ፡ ጣዖተ ።

他長大，住在迦勒底的吾珥，靠近他岳母的父親，並且事奉偶像。

And he grew up, and dwelt in Ur of the Chaldees, near to the father of his wife's mother, and he worshipped idols, and he took to himself a wife in the thirty-sixth jubilee, in the 1806 of this week.

11:8

ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ናኮርሃ ፡ በዓመት ፡ ቀዳሚሁ ፡ ለዝ ፡ ሱባዔ ፡ ወልህቀ ፡ ወኀደረ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኡር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዘእለ ፡ ኡር ፡ ከለዳዊያን ፡ ወመሀሮ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ኁሣሤሆሙ ፡ ለከለዳዊያን ፡ ለተማርዮ ፡ ወለተሰግሎ ፡ በተአምረ ፡ ሰማይ ።

她在這七年的頭一年給他生了拿鶴；他長大，住在迦勒底人吾珥城的人中間，他父親把迦勒底人觀測之術教導他，叫他學習占卜，憑天象推算。

And she bore him Nahor in the first year of this week; and he grew up and dwelt in Ur, in the Ur of the Chaldeans; and his father taught him the researches of the Chaldeans, to divine and to take omens by the signs of heaven.

11:9

ወበሠላሳ ፡ ወሰብዓቱ ፡ ኢዮቤልዉ ፡ በሱባዔ ፡ ሳድስ ፡ በአሐዱ ፡ ዓመቱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ነሥአ ፡ ብእሲተ ፡ ወስማ ፡ ኢያስካ ፡ ወለተ ፡ ኔስታግ ፡ ዘከለዳዊያን ፡ 10 ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ታራሃ ፡ በዓመት ፡ ሳብዕ ፡ ለዝ ፡ ሱባዔ ።

在第三十七個禧年，第六個七年的頭一年，他娶了妻，名叫雅斯加，是迦勒底人尼斯塔的女兒；她在這七年的第七年給他生了他拉。

And in the thirty-seventh jubilee, in the sixth week, in its first year, he took a wife, and her name was Iyaska, daughter of Nestag of the Chaldeans. And she bore him Terah in the seventh year of this week.
