13:1
ወሖረአብራምእምካራንወነሥአሶራይሃብእሲቶ
亞伯蘭從哈蘭起行,帶著他妻子撒萊。
And Abram journeyed from Haran, and took Sarai his wife.
13:2
ወርእየወናሁምድርአዳምጥቀእምብዋአኤማትእስከኀበድርስነዋኅ
他觀看,見那地甚是美好,從哈馬的入口直到那高大的橡樹。
And he saw, and, behold, the land was very pleasant from the entering of Hamath to the lofty oak. 3 And the Lord said to him: "To thee and to thy seed will I give this land. "
13:3
ወይቤሎእግዚአብሔርለከወለዘርእከእሁብዛተምድረ ፡ 4 ወሐነጸበህየምሥዋዐወአዕረገዲቤሁጽንሐሐለእግዚአብሔርዘአስተርአዮ
主對他說:「我要把這地賜給你和你的後裔。」他便在那裏築了一座壇,把燔祭獻在其上,獻給那向他顯現的主。
And the Lord said to him, To you and to your seed I will give this land. And he built there an altar, and offered upon it a burnt offering to the Lord who had appeared to him.
13:5
ወአንሥአእምህየውስተደብረቤቴልዘመንገለባሕርወአጌመንገለጽባሕወተከለደብተራሁህየ
他從那裏起行往伯特利山去,伯特利在西邊,艾在東邊,他就在那裏支搭帳棚。
And he removed from thence unto the mountain . . . 3 Bethel on the west and Ai on the east, and pitched his tent there.
13:6
ወርእየወናሁምድርጽፍሕትወኄርትጥቀወኵሉይሠርፅላዕሌሃአውያንወበለስወሮማንዕፅባላንወድርስወጤሬቤንቶስወዕፀወዘይትወቄድሮስወቄጲሪሶስወሊባኖስወኵሉዕፀወገዳምወማይዲበአድባር
他觀看,見那地寬闊甚美,其上生長著各樣的物,有葡萄、無花果、石榴、橡樹、聖櫟、篤耨香樹、橄欖樹、香柏、柏樹和棕樹,並田間一切的樹木,眾山上也有水。
And he saw and behold, the land was very wide and good, and everything grew thereon--vines and figs and pomegranates, oaks and ilexes, and terebinths and oil trees, and cedars and cypresses and date trees, and all trees of the field, and there was water on the mountains.
13:7
ወባረኮለእግዚአብሔርዘአውፅኦእምነኡርዘከለዳዊያንወአምጽኦውስተዝደብር
他便稱頌那領他出迦勒底吾珥、把他帶到這山的主。
And he blessed the Lord who had led him out of Ur of the Chaldees, and had brought him to this land.
13:8
ወኮነበአሐዱዓመትበሱባዔሳብዕበሠርቀወርኅበዘቀዳሚሐነጸምሥዋዐበዝደብርወጸውዖበስመእግዚአብሔርአንተአምላኪየአምላከዘለዓለም
在第七個七年的頭一年,第一月月朔,他在這山上築了一座壇,求告主的名說:「你這永遠的神,是我的神。」
And it came 1954 A.M. to pass in the first year, in the seventh week, on the new moon of the first month, that he built an altar on this mountain, and called on the name of the Lord: "Thou, the eternal God, art my God. "
13:9
ወአዕረገዲበምሥዋዕጽንሐሐለእግዚአብሔርከመየሀሉምስሌሁወኢይኅድጎኵሎመዋዕለሕይወቱ
他把燔祭獻在壇上歸給主,求主與他同在,一生的日子總不離棄他。
And he offered on the altar a burnt sacrifice unto the Lord that He should be with him and not forsake him all the days of his life.
13:10
ወአንሥአእምህየወሖረመንገለደቡብወበጽሐእስከኬብሮንወኬብሮንአሜሃተሐንጸትወነበረህየዓመተክልኤተወሖረውስተምድረደቡብእስከቦአሎጥ
他從那裏起行,往南方去,到了希伯崙;希伯崙那時已建造起來,他在那裏住了兩年,又往南方之地去,直到羅得來到。
And he removed from thence and went towards the south, 4 and he came to Hebron, and Hebron was built at, that time, and he dwelt there two years, and he went (thence) into the land of the south, to Bealoth 2 and there was a famine in the land.
13:11
ወሖረአብራምግብጽበሣልስዓመትዘሱባዔወኀደረውስተግብጽኀምስተዓመተዘእንበለትትሀየድብእሲቱ
在那七年的第三年,亞伯蘭下到埃及,在埃及住了五年,然後他的妻子才被擄去離他。
And Abram went into Egypt 3 in the third year of the week, and he dwelt in Egypt five years before his wife was torn away from him.
13:12
ወጠናይስዘግብጽአሜሃተሐብጸትበሰብዓቱክረምትእምድኅረኬብሮን
埃及的瑣安那時已建造起來,是在希伯崙之後第七年建成的。
NOW Tanaas in Egypt was at that time built--seven years after Hebron. 5 11 And it came to pass when Pharaoh seized Sarai, the wife of Abram, that the Lord plauged Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife.
13:13
ወኮነአመሄዶፈርዖንሶራይብእሲቶለአብራምቀሠፈእግዚአብሔርፈርዖንሃወቤቶበመቅሠፍትዐቢይበእንተሶራይብእሲቱለአብራም
當法老擄去亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊時,主因撒萊就是亞伯蘭的妻子之故,用大災殃擊打法老和他的全家。
And it came to pass, when Pharaoh took Sarai the wife of Abram, that the Lord smote Pharaoh and his household with great plagues on account of Sarai the wife of Abram.
13:14
ወአብራምክቡርበጥሪትጥቀበአባግዕወበአልህምትወበአእዱግወበአፍራስወበአግማልወበአግብርትወበአእማትወበብሩርወበወርቅፈድፋደ
亞伯蘭因擁有羊羣、牛羣、驢、馬、駱駝、僕婢、金銀甚多,極為顯赫。
And Abram was very glorious by reason of possessions in sheep, and cattle, and asses, and horses, and camels, and menservants, and maidservants, and in silver and gold exceedingly. And Lot also, his brother's son, was wealthy.
13:15
ወአግብአፈርዖንሶራይሃብእሲተአብራምወአፍለሶእምድረግብጽወሖረውስተመካንኀበተከለደብተራሁእንተቀዲሙውስተመካነምሥዋዐአጌእምጽባሐቤቴልወባሕርወባሪኮለእግዚአብሔርአምላኩዘሜጦበሰላም
法老把亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊歸還,並打發他離開埃及地。他就回到起初支搭帳棚的地方,到那壇所在之處,艾在東邊,伯特利在西邊;他便稱頌那平安領他歸回的主他的神。
And Pharaoh gave back Sarai, the wife of Abram, and he sent him out of the land of Egypt, 6 and he journeyed to the place where he had pitched his tent at the beginning, to the place of the altar, with Ai on the east, and Bethel on the west, and he blessed the Lord his God who had brought him back in peace.
13:16
ወኮነበዝአርብዓወአሐዱኢዮቤልዎንበሣልስዓምዘሱባዔቀዳሚገብአውስተዝመካንወአዕረገበዲቤሁጽንሐሐወጸውዐበስመእግዚአብሔርአምላክልዑልአምላኪየለዓለመዓለም
在這第四十一個禧年,第一個七年的第三年,他回到這地方,把燔祭獻在其上,並求告主的名說:「你這至高的神,是我永永遠遠的神。」
And it came to pass in the forty-first jubilee, in the third year of the first week, that he returned to this place and offered thereon a burnt sacrifice, and called on the name of the Lord, and said: "Thou, the most high God, art my God for ever and ever. "
13:17
ወበራብዕዓመትዘዝሱባዔተፈልጠሎጥእምኔሁወኀደረሎጥውስተሰዶምወሰብአሰዶምኃጥኣንጥቀ
在這七年的第四年,羅得與他分開了,羅得住在所多瑪;所多瑪的人罪大惡極。
And in the fourth year of this week Lot parted from him, and Lot dwelt in Sodom, and the men of Sodom were sinners exceedingly.
13:18
ወአከዮበልቡእስመተፈልጠወልደእኁሁእምኔሁእስመአልቦውሉደ ፡ 19 በውእቱዓመትአመተፄወወሎጥ
他心裏憂愁,因為他兄弟的兒子與他分開了,而他自己又沒有兒女。就在那年,羅得被擄去了。
And it grieved him in his heart that his brother's son had parted from him; for he had no children. 19.1 In that year when Lot was taken captive, the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot had parted from him, in the fourth year of this week: "Lift up thine eyes from the place where thou art dwelling, northward and southward, and westward and eastward.
13:20
እስመኵላምድረእንተትሬኢለከወለዘርእከእመሁባእስከለዓለም
「因為凡你所看見的全地,我都要賜給你和你的後裔,直到永遠。」
For all the land which thou seest I shall give to thee and to thy seed for ever, and I shall make thy seed as the sand of the sea: 2 though a man may number the dust of the earth, yet thy seed shall not be numbered.
13:21
ተንሥእወአንሶሱውስተኑኃወርሕባወርኢኵሎእስመለዘርእከእሁባ
「你起來,縱橫走遍這地的長闊,觀看這一切,因為我要把它賜給你的後裔。」
Arise, walk (through the land) in the length of it and the breadth of it, and see it all; for to thy seed shall I give it. " And Abram went to Hebron, and dwelt there. Footnotes 8. 8. 9. 10.
13:22
ወበዝዓመትመጽአከደለጎሞርንጉሠኤላምአመርፋልንጉሠሲናአርወአሪአክንጉሠሴለሳርወቴርጋልንጉሠአሕዛብወቀተልዎለንጉሠጎሞርወጐየንጉሠሰዶም
那年,以攔王基大老瑪、示拿王暗拉非、以拉撒王亞略和列國王提達前來,殺了蛾摩拉王,所多瑪王也逃跑了。
13.
13:23
ወፄወዉሰዶምሃወአዳማሃወሴቦኤምወፄወውዎለሎጥኒወልደእኁሁለአብራምሰኵሎጥሪቶወሖረእስከዳን
他們擄掠了所多瑪、押瑪和洗扁,又擄去亞伯蘭兄弟的兒子羅得和他一切的財物,往但去了。
And they took captive Sodom and Adam 6 and Zeboim, and they took captive Lot also, the son of Abram's brother, and all his possessions, and they went to Dan.
13:24
ወመጽአዘድኅነወነገሮለአብራምከመተፄወወወልደእኁሁ
有一個逃脫的人來,把他兄弟的兒子被擄之事告訴亞伯蘭。
And one who had escaped came and told Abram that his brother's son had been taken captive and (Abram) armed 8 his household servants. 25 . . . . . . . . . for Abram, and for his seed, a tenth of the first-fruits to the Lord, 1 and the Lord ordained it as an ordinance for ever that they should give it to the priests who served before Him, that they should possess it for ever.
13:25
ወአስተረሰየልደቤቱ ፡ [ወሖረአብራምወቀተሎለከደለጎሞርወየመይጠወዐሠረዐሥራተእምኵሉወወሀቦለመልከጼዴቅ
他便武裝了家裏的人〔亞伯蘭前去殺了基大老瑪,奪回一切,並從所得的一切中取十分之一,獻給麥基洗德〕。
And he restored the goods of his household. And Abram went and slew Chedorlaomer, and returned and tithed a tenth of everything, and gave it to Melchizedek.
13:26
ወአልቦለዝሕግወሰነመዋዕልእስመትውልድዘለዓለምሠርዖከመየሀቡዓሥራተእምኵሉለእግዚአብሔርእምዘርእወእምወይንወእምቅብእወእምአልህምትወእምአባግዕ ፡ 27 ወውእቱወሀበለካህናቲሁለበሊዕወለሰቲይበፍሥሓበቅድሜሁ
這律法沒有日期的限制,因為祂已為世世代代定立,叫他們從一切所有的,就是五穀、酒、油、牛羣和羊羣中,把十分之一獻給主。祂又把這獻物賜給祂的祭司,叫他們在祂面前歡歡喜喜地喫喝。
And to this law there is no limit of days; for He hath ordained it for the generations for ever that they should give to the Lord the tenth of everything, of the seed and of the wine and of the oil and of the cattle and of the shee . And He gave (it) unto His priests to eat and to drink with joy before Him.
13:28
ወበጽሐኀቤሁንጉሠሰዶምወሰገደቅድሜሁወይቤእግዚእነአብራምጸግወነነፍሰእለባለሕከወምህርካሁሰይኩንከ
所多瑪王來到他這裏,在他面前下拜,說:「我們的主亞伯蘭啊,求你把你所救出的人口賜給我們,至於財物,可歸你所有。」
And the king of Sodom came to him and bowed himself before him, and said: "Our Lord Abram, give unto us the souls which thou hast rescued, but let the booty be thine. "
13:29
ወይቤሎአብራምሎቱአነሥእእደዊየኀበአምላክልዑልእምፈትልእስከቶታነአሣእንእመእነሥእእምኵሉዘዚአከከመኢትኩንበሃሌአነአብዐልክዎለአብራም
亞伯蘭對他說:「我向至高的神舉手起誓,凡屬你的,從一根線到一根鞋帶,我都不拿,免得你說:『我使亞伯蘭富足。』」
And Abram said unto him: "I lift up my hands to the Most High God, that from a thread to a shoe-latchet I shall not take aught that is thine, lest thou shouldst say I have made Abram rich; save only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me--Aner, Eschol, and Mamre. These will take their portion. " 3 Footnotes 14. 25. It no doubt contained an account of the pursuit of the kings and told of Melchizedek (cf. Gen. xiv. 15-20). That Abraham should have given tithes to Melchizedek (who was uncircumcised) was a difficulty to later Jews (cf. Justin, Trypho xix.). One way of overcoming it was to identify Melchizedek with Shem. 15.
